Shadow nodded and began to follow the Snover in the direction in which he was leading. As they continued forward, Shadow seemed to sense the Snover was feeling a little frightened, even though he was unsure of what exactly. As he trudged on, he felt somewhat bad that this Ice Pokemon was doing something nice for him even if he was a little scared from the trees and such. How he wanted that, thinking to himself. As the wind seemed to push him back, he pulled his trench even closer to try to avoid any of the blowing breeze and pushed back even harder, continuing to follow the Pokemon leading.

After what felt like hours to the snover. They were finally out of the trees. They were now out in an open field. Or at least thats what it looked like. They soon came to a thick forest like places. The trees were pine trees so they still had their needles. The trees/needles were so thick and close together no snow made it under the trees. The wind, if you sat behind a tree, could easily be blocked out and there were still a few dry needles ready to be burned if needed. The Snover came upon the trees and then turned around. "Snover sno sno." it said pointing at the trees first then the sky. <"We'll rest here and see if the snow stops then ill take you to the road.">

The wind didn't seem to blow at him as harshly from where they now were. Standing right behind one of the large pine trees, he avoided the stick sap that the needles may have held. It was a good thing the snow didn't touch the ground, as the boy found himself, now sitting just for the moment on the ground, still cold from the winter even if no snow lay there. He bundled up, feeling much better now that the sharp coldness stopped bugging him. He looked to the Snover and nodded, agreeing to the resting part well enough. "T-thank...I appreciate your help..."

The snover nodded. It sat down on the needles paying no attention as they pokethem. Hours seemed to pass as the snow didn't stop. The snovers stomach growled it seemed to blush a little before it stood up and rummaged threw the needles for something. In no time it had some Barrie's. It gave a few to the trainer. "Sno!" it said popping one of the barries into its mouth and then chewed it up and ate it. <"eat!">

Soon, after the Snover came back, he took the berries with no hesitation. It had actually been a while since he had had anything to eat and the smell of the winter fruits made his stomach give a small rumble itself which caused pale face to turn a shade of deep red. He chuckled quietly before giving an apology. Taking one, he examined it before popping it in his mouth, his tongue feeling the texture of the entire surface. How good it tasted. How bad he felt just then. He turned to look at the Snover, making sure his eyes kept to the Ice-types face and not the ground.
"I wish there was s-someway...to repay y-you for this...Please tell m-me...if I can..."

The Snover nodded. "Snover sno Snover!" it said in its natural poketongue language. It pumped its fist into the air and then looked at the trainer. <"Strong. I wanna be strong!"> It punched the air a few times. "Snover?" it was asking a question this time. <"Let me come with you?"> It seemed to grin. "Sno Sno!" <"I bet you could make me stronger, tougher, less afraid of ghost's!">

His eyes gave a blink or two. "T-take you with...me?" He knew he couldn't consider himself brave as things seemed to scare the living daylight out of him just about all the time. He wanted nothing more than to grow stronger and braver every day. He looked at this Snover and thought he was incredibly already. Perhaps they would help each other grow stronger further on in this journey. "I'd be...honored...to have you for a partner. I'll help you get stronger...on the condition," he smiled, "that you help me get stronger too...I know I need too stop being so nervous all the time myself..."

It punched the air a few more times in excitment, then nodded quite firmly.
"Sno, Snover!" <Of Course! We will be a winning team!>
Too bad it wasn't this easy for all pokemon, and too bad not all trusted humans, or trainers, so openly like this fellow did. It awaited the pokeball to come and capture it without any hesitation, actually quite excited for the journey ahead, and the thought of becoming as strong as it could be.

A smile showed that wasn't at all bitter or frightened, which was rare fro him to show anybody else besides himself. He nodded while he reached into his bag, pulling out one of his empty Pokeballs. "I'm sure we'll be the best winning team ever," he said softly and with out his usual stutter, so that only the Snover would be able to hear him clearly. With that, he gave the Pokeball a toss toward the Pokemon.

The pokeball sucked the Snover into it. It shook for not even a second before it went calm. The Snover gave no fight at all and just let its self be captured. Talk about loyal!

When the Snover had been sucked into the ball, Shadow took notice how quickly the ball stopped moving when usually it took about a few times to settle down. He wasn't going to let this Pokemon down...nor any of his other Pokemon for that matter. He wanted them to be all strong, healthy and satisfied and he was willing to do anything to make sure that that happened for them. He looked to the place where he was told to go, but was unsure if the snow was still too harsh to continue, not wanting to get lost in a blizzard or end of freezing. So he decided to remain put until the snow had calmed.

A narrow escarpment of rock gave way to a stalactite-riddled overhanging. The shallow bowl-shaped formation was smooth and cooled by the harsh cold, but provided ample shelter against the driving winds, if the trainer so selected to settle there. The overhang was bordered by an array of lifeless trees, gnarled branches tipped with twigs akin to gnarled hands reaching out to greet Winter itself. These, two, aided in mild snow protection. Overall, it seemed like a place of certifiable decency to rest a while and await the weather's demise.
That, and something else of any trainer's interest appeared to be residing there as well. A rotound, azure tail was protruding from a small uprise of granite... it didn't belong to a human, that was predictable, but perhaps something of the Pokemon orientation?

Eventually, his gaze came to see the shelter that could keep him and his Pokémon away from the harsh winds of the cold December and as being unsure like he usually would be, he fought against those feelings and pushed himself to take place in the cave. He would prove himself to that new friend of his and try to be brave himself just this once. As he found himself in the safety, he came across the azure colored tail protruding from the up coming rocks. Swallowing, he creped up silently, trying to take a gaze upon what was there.

As the trainer neared the tail it began to move then it all of a sudden disappeared. Behind the rock if you listened you could here the faint sounds of. "Deli delibird" If you looked arooound the rock you would see a Delibird Stuffing box's and toys into a red bag. The Azure tail from before had been that of a Marill Plushie that was no being stuffed into the bag. The Delibird didn't even notice the trainer behind it as it was to busy shoving things into the bag.

His eyes gave a blink or two as the tail of azure gave it's disappearance. He tiptoed over to see why it had gone away and his eyes met with the delibird. His mind asked if this was the same one he had seen earlier, as at the moment, he didn't see any Stantler, or if this was a different bird. He watched as it stuffed the cute mouse plushie in the bag. Not wanting to make a racket, he slowly made it all the way inside, closer and closer to the Delibird, watching but not saying anything..

The Delibird easily fit all of the gifts around it into the red velvet bag. It finished stuffing it full of the presents, tied the bag shut and hefted the bag over its shoulder. It almost fell over due to the wait of the bag, but it got its bearing. It turned around only to see the human he had given the gift to before. It made no word. it had only come back to refill the bag of presents. It whistled and out from the deep cave came the stantler from before. They were all strapped together as the pulled the deep red slay behind them. The Deli-santa hopped in its slay and then disappeared out of the cave. A box, however, accidentally slipped out of the bag, but the Deli-Santa hadn't seemed to notice. Pick up the present and run after Deli-Santa and return it? Or pick it up and open it, even though it was not your present.

A smile was given to the Delibird, his eyes back to the ground until the sleigh made it's way out of the cave, along with the bag of goodies for Christmas. After a moment's notice, he saw the lonely present that had made it;'s way out of the bag. He walked over and picked it up, giving it a small shake, wondering what would lay with in the packages contents. Yes, the boy was very capable of opening the present and taking what was inside. It would seem like no one in the world would come to notice one small gift that was misplaced. But that wasn't how Shadow worked.
Yes, he was curious but he too remembered night at his house during the holidays. He was lucky to get anything on Christmas morning, if his father didn't take away his smallest amounts of happiness. He looked to the gift and back outside again. To take this gift away, it would remind himself too much of his father which he never wanted to be. This gift would be given back, even if he had to do it himself. The cold pushed at him again as he entered the snow covered world. His eyes searched for the sleigh.
For the first time in his life, the raven haired fellow opened his mouth and let out a shout to the open, "DELIBIRD! YOU CAN"T LEAVE WITHOUT THIS!" His eyes opened with amazement, red blotching his face, never realizing he could be that loud.

The Deli-Santa turned when it herd the a voice. The sleigh had stopped. "Deli~" The Stantlers turned around, witch made the slay turn around also. The Deli-Santa rode threw the snow back to the cave where he had herd the voice from. It saw the boy was holding a present. "Delibird?" it asked. <"Whats this."> Then it noticed the name of the small present, it was addressed to a Timmy. Thats when its eyes widen. It had dropped a present. What a shameful act of a Deli-Santa! The Delibird jumped out of the sleigh and walked up to the boy. It stuck its hand out in a silence way of asking for the present back.

Shadow let out a breath, happy the Deli-Santa had heard him cry out. His eyes looked away as the Santa-like Pokemon walked up to him, his face still shown with the color red. Brushing his hair from his face, he reached out, present in his hand, to give back to the red and white bird. "T-thanks for coming back," he muttered. ((Sorry for teh short post )

((No problem. Mine are always short anyways XD))
The Deli-Santa nodded and took the present from the boy. It then walked back to its sleigh and hopped in. It put the present snuggly back into the bag, it also pulled out another one. It was a box decorated with black wrapping paper with white bow. It was small nothing to big. It tossed it to shadow. "Deli deli!" <"Take it as a thanks!"> and with that it road off into the night. Wow to be graced with to presents. This trainer must of a good heart and be really lucky!
