Katje followed where the caterpie went, yapping at it from the ground, growling and looking generally threatening. She thought of trying another ember, but didn't want to waste the precious fire in her belly. It did run out, after all. Katje walked around the tree base impatiently, ocassionally scratching at it's base. When the String Shot smacked her on the flank, she yipped with surprise and jumped a bit, but found herself rather stuck. She pulled away and danced with it a bit, then got a paw stuck in it. Katje growled in frustration, and finally spat a tiny little flame upon the sticky silk and watched it burn within seconds. Her angry gaze turned to where she had seen the bug last, intent on eating the stupid creature now. "Come fight me on the ground you little worm!" She barked and growled.

The Caterpie blushed in embarrassment at Katje's sudden threat, and frowned upon its sudden realization that the Vulpix was right. It hadn't made any physical attacks since it was first attacked by the Ember.
' Well, at least I know that my Tackle's better than my String Shot.' The bug type thought to itself as it eyed the grumpy Vulpix down below. Obviously it was getting bored with this game of cat and mouse, but the Caterpie didn't want to get eaten. Or hurt, for that matter. Yet this didn't solve its problem with the Vulpix, it had to stop the Fire type from wanting to attack it. Giving its bum a shake, it dived down from the branch it was on with a super speedy Tackle, hoping more than ever that its attack would get the Vulpix, not the ground.

Indeed, the Caterpie thought right. Katje didn't even bother to move away from the tackle, assuming it would be weak like the String Shot. but, she was surprised to be pushed back a few inches and have the wind knocked briefly from her lungs.
"Ember." Keeva commanded as soon as she was hit.
She took a moment to get the oxygen back, but as soon as it was there, she fired a little stream of fire at the bug, knowing it wouldn't be able to move away being so close, and being so slow. "This is a real fight, little worm! Take it like a champion!" She snickered.

Of course, the Caterpie had to land somewhere. Crashing into the soft and velvety fur of the Vulpix brought comfort into the Caterpie's eyes, but quickly realized the dangerous situation it was in and backed away. Giving fearful eyes towards the fire type as the inevitable attack was released.
Vurnerable, exposed, and no place to run, the Caterpie was left with a nasty brun mark on its back. The super effective attack made it cringe, and several tears swelled up in its eyes as it knew in its heart that it had to endure them with stride.
Still teary eyed, the Caterpie took a brave step forward, then another and at once it went into a sudden burst of speed and power with a Tackle. It was a battle between two low leveled Pokemon, and it was bound to end quickly.

Speedy for a Caterpie, slow compared to Katje's movements. She was, however, trying to play fair more than win this for herself. The Caterpie was being extremely brave by not running away from her, and the least she could do was stop trying to avoid it's slow attacks and let it get some experiance. So, she allowed the tackle to push her down once again, and this time waited for a command before attacking. Keeva seemed a bit confused about this as he watched her slowly rise from the ground and face the bug again. He shrugged it off though and ordered another attack. "Tail Whip" he ordered sternly. It was a rather useless attack, but it would help in defeating the bug easier. Katje whipped around anduncurled her elegant tails to allow them to whip and smack at the caterpie.

The non damaging Tail Whip caught it off guard, along with several other things. It wasn't even sure how its Tackle attack hit the Vulpix, but it felt awfully proud of what it did. With lowered defense, it was beginning to feel even more vulnerable than when it was on fire from the previous Ember attacks.
With that aside, it still felt that the fire type was a little too fast for her own good. Bad aim and all, it assumed that at close range, another String Shot would actually hit the target. Shooting out a long and sticky thread all over the place, generally where the Vulpix was standing, in an attempt to cover Katje's entire body in a prison of string.
