[Levels?] Soren picked up the ball.
"I'll call you Zorion," he said, before placing it with the other pokeballs he had. "You guys did a very good job," he told Allyra and Seath. "Now back in your pokeballs too."
Allyra pouted and Seath whined, both wanting to stay out. Soren looked at them, his gaze conveying the message that they were going to return whether they wanted it or not.
Red light engulfed the two as they were sucked in as well, before Soren continued on the first route, wondering what would happen next.

The wind blew gently across the snow. It was still a little bright out. Seemed like time flew when you were having fun. If one looked far off in the distance, one could see a light. Just a single light all by its lonesome. If you needed a place to say, one might check this place out. Then again, it might be a trap of some sort. Let your curiosity take over and adventure out to see what it was. OR just continue on an hope you survive the night?

Soren looked at the sky. Had it really gotten this dark? It was as if the whole day flew by without him even noticing it...
The light really stood out as his surrounding was getting darker. The first stars still hadn't appeared yet, but with the sun soon setting, the route was getting chillier.
Slowly, he made his way over to the light, wondering what could be causing it. Was it a pokemon? A campfire?
He decided to check it out first, and if it turned out to be humans, he'd just turn around and walk away to find somewhere else to camp out for the night...

As Soren grew closer to the light it could faintly been seen having a shape. A house shaped building. The shape soon came to be a log cabin. It had a light on outside it. Inside you could see a little girl an older man and a sunflora all siting at a table eating dinner. Knock on the door and ask for shelter? Or maybe just continue on an continue into the snow and bare it like a man would!

The moment Soren saw the humans, he turned away. No way in hell was he going to willingly come into contact with them. He turned the other way, heading back next to the route, although still staying in the forest where he wouldn't recieve the direct wind. It was getting cold and he held the cape close to his body. The metal pokeballs were well protected as he could feel them against his skin, his warmth making sure that the pokemon inside weren't cold.
He'll be fine without any rest... he's gone longer than this without closing his eyes before...

The forest wailed and moaned under the strength of the winds that whipped through it. A strange energy infused the wind and everything held within it a hint of desperation, of fear, and even the trees quivered in apprehension of the thing that stirred out there in blinding snow flurries that moved steadily forward. What was it doing this far from the mountains? Was it the reason behind the sudden intensity of the snow that fell all around? Men have written tales for centuries on this foul beast of nature and its wrath on those who dared venture too close to its path in this time of all times of year: winter. An oak tree was wrenched upward, twisted like a thin straw just plucked from the end of a broom around nothing in particular and splintered with a sickening pop. And the forest sent up a cry of pain, but mixed with it was the booming bass of pure, unadorned rage. It was far from home and lost in a strange place with many trees, too many trees. Too many trees, little one, too many trees. Some called him a gentle giant and some called him misunderstood, but he was none of these things, no human could ever hope to possibly comprehend what he felt. NONE! He was angry, that’s what he was. Angry and lost and confused and above all else, hungry. The wind picked up and the snow it held thickened as the large tower of a Pokémon stomped loudly forward, its steps echoing even after being cushioned by the snowdrifts. Loud, thundering steps pierced the otherwise shrill howl of the wind as the Pokémon lumbered steadily forward, dragging the blizzard with it like a heavy blanket behind it. Toward Soren. Through the trees, trees that swayed as if it they were simple palms and not mighty, proud oaks and pines as dizzying, fierce winds blew at odd angles, sharp and cutting with shards of ice and snow filling it.
Were pride and preconceived notions really worth risking your life? If Soren stayed on this path and didn’t turn back and return to the inn, he’d soon find out the answer to that question and one could only hope it was an answer that he could deal with. [/size]

Soren felt a slight shift in the wind as he got closer to the pokemon. What was it? he wondered. He felt a bit insecure though, as something inside him told him that it wasn't anything good. A gut feeling, perhaps.
"Come out, Seath," he said, letting the flying wolf out of his pokeball. Knowing that two pairs of eyes was better than one, and that Ookira were night creatures, and thus they had better night vision, he felt a lot safer.
"Kiii?" asked the little pokemon, wondering why is had been let out. "Raa..."
"Just stay alert," said Soren as he continued down the path.

Light, soft snowflakes stained the pitch black sea that was the night’s sky. Flurries drifted down, down, down upon the land that was already bleached bone white by earlier snowfall, and for a time, everything was gentle and downy soft. Some trees leaned into each other as if dancing to some waltz danced to a music audible only to them with their glacial trunks swaying in time to barely-there tempo. Creak. Creak. The stiffness of the bark protested though even it that remained musical, a lilting part of the winter song that filled the forest at nighttime. Sweet innocence reigned supreme in this period of peace and tranquility, but there was a growing darkness somewhere deep within the forest, some mounting force somewhere from whence all of the snow was flowing. Not from the sky, but from all around the snowflakes wafted, and in a twinkling of an eye, the peace… was gone. Violent wind whistled wildly throughout the icy canopies above and sent shards of ice and orbs of compacted snow plummeting down upon the Route and anyone who would be crazy enough to walk outside in weather like this.
Thundrous crashes pounded rhythmically into the ground, a heartbeat of something large and sinister coming toward the trainer and his Pokémon on the trail. Its fur was white, the purest ivory, and would have glistened in the moonlight had thick, dark clouds not already engulfed the sky at its appearance, and so it appeared to be an apparition walking in the blizzard. An apparition that happened to be seven feet tall and as wide as a large tree trunk with large, angry blue eyes that bore down on the human and his little pets. So far from home… so alone… so lost. Arms flailing around, it let loose a loud roar: “ABOM!” A full, guttural belch right from its soul, let loose from the bowels of hell. Standing there in the swirling snow that soon engulfed the entire forest or at least as far around as the average person could see and that bent the trees back, pulled them forward, and made their limbs whine loudly in protestation, it stared at the trainer as the storm it had brought forth leashed its full violence of snow and hail and creeping ice upon anything and everything near to it.
“SNOW!”[/I]

Soren sure hadn't expected to see THAT as he walked between the trees next to the route. He just stared at that giant thing that wasn't exactly too far away anymore and seemed to be frozen in shock.
"S...Seath? Do you see what I see?" he asked as quietly as he could. The pokemon next to him just nodded as she hid behind his leg. No way in hell were they going to win in a battle against that!
Soren wanted to leave, turn around to find another way pass it, but it was too late. The abomasnow has spotted him and unleashed its violent attack, sending both him and Seath tumbling into the snow.
"You don't have to fight if you don't want to," he told Seath. "We can just run away, if you'd like." Truthfully, he was scared. Terrified. Could could such a tiny pokemon suck as Seath beat that thing?
The Ookira didn't seem to think the same though. Her fear dissipated as an adrenalin rush surged. She stared at the large ice pokemon, activating her ability, Intimidate, before using an Agility, clearly showing that she wasn't going to back down.
"Okay then," said Soren, getting up. His clothes was wet from the snow, but he willed himself not to show any sign of weakness. If Seath was going to fight, then he'd be right behind her, supporting her all the way. "But you're going to need backup for this," he added, taking out another pokemon and letting Elsu out. A quick glance at his pokedex told him that the flying duck's attack would be rather effective.
Elsu, use a leer, and the moment it tries to attack, fly in there to use a Poison Jab. Seath, get ready to dodge anything it might throw at you and counter it with a Wing Attack!""

The Abomasnow easily made a hail storm begin. Its ability made it able to control the hail storm. "Aboma!!!!" it yelled as it lashed out with a fully charged Ice Punch at the bird. The thing was big but was a little slow for its size. It got angrier every second the battle went on.
((sorry sucky post!))

Soren watched worriedly as his plan was executed, despite the extremely strong attack. Elsu flew in, using a poison jab to try and counter the tremendous strenght of the Ice Punch.
The impact wasn't a pretty sight and the farfetch'd was flung back, straight into a tree, with the sole wish to survive so that he could continue to fight. It was a miracle it hadn't broken anything during the impact, but the bird would have to rest a bit before going back in.
Seath took that moment to dive in, using a wing attack with all her might. She had to be careful, since one wrong move and she would ressemble Elsu, stuck in the bark of a tree, wounded from the powerful attack.

<Abom!> The Ice/Grass type pokemon cried, getting knocked back from the impact of Seath's Wing Attack. <Boma!> The pokemon roared, letting out a blast of it's Powder Snow.

The little ookira was blasted cruelly from the snow, the cold wind making her shiver. Still, she refused to go down without a fight, even against something like this. Her backup seemed to be out of commission already, and she figured that she'd just have to go and fight herself.
Soren had another plan though. Even though it was a bit unorthodox to try and overpower an opposing pokemon with numbers, he figured that it was only fair that he evened the odds a bit. Most of his pokemon were small and obviously under leveled -Snovers evolved at level 40!- and so if he even wanted a fighting chance, he had to give it his all.
"Rhoit, Oriole, Meris!" he yelled, throwing a trio of pokeballs into the air. Only Allyra stayed in her pokeball, for even if she had good intentions, she would just get in the way.
"I want all of you to be extremely careful," he said. "Oriole, keep your distance and use a Leer! Meris, try to confuse it with a supersonic attack! Rhoit, Ember! Seath, wait until the ember hits, and then go in with a tackle attack!"
Soren glanced at Elsu. "Don't worry. Just tell me when you are ready for more... we'll beat this pokemon! I know we can!"

The Abomasnow was hit by all of the attacks. Being to slow for it dodge the barrage of attacks that would hit it. It however didn't seem to be fazed by to many of the attacks. The ember of course did the most damage. It yelled out into the sky. "ABOMA!" All of a sudden the hail became much much harder. It being almost imposable to see 2 feet in front of your face. The wind also got much colder now. It would be wise to run back to the house from before.

"Retreat!" he said. The wind was a lot stronger and he really shouldn't be there anymore, whether his pokemon wanted it or not. "Seath! Rhoit! Oriole! Meris!" he yelled as he got Elsu's pokeball back and returned him. He wasn't sure where the other ones were until they were so close, he could feel them.
The harsh cold was numbing his fingers as he quickly made sure they were all back in their balls. Rhoit stayed out, though, refusing to let his trainer down now. Soren was freezing and the fire pokemon offered great warmth.
"Come on, Rhoit... we've got to get out of here fast before that abomasnow attacks again..." he said. The winds, picking up, kept reminded him of the danger he was in.
Upon insistence, he climbed onto Rhoit's back and the pokemon walked deeper into the woods where the trees were thicker and the wind, softer.
"Thank you," whispered Soren as he was brought away from the large pokemon. He'll find his way back to the route tomorrow... for now, he'd just stay in the forest until the sun rose again, on the dry and warm earth Rhoit had provided.

The night pasted by easily. Though the roars from the Abomasnow could be herd from every direction as the sound had bounced off of the trees. The wind blew and made the trees wail as they bent. Branches flew threw the air at random times as they had been broken off of the trunks. But other then that the night was peaceful.
A light tan skinned girl with pale red hair that ran down to her waist walked into the tree line. She was hugging an odd 7 tailed Vulpix to her Chest for warmth. The Vulpix didn't look like it minded though. As she walked in she turned her head in time to see a winged horse pass by her view. She shrugged, might as well investigate. She walked around a tree and finally saw the full view of Soren and his Winged Horse Pokemon. "Woaa...Kool!" she said out loud. Though she didn't mean to. She was sure that Soren had herd her.

(Human contact? What human contact? He doesn't need any human contact! XD)
Soren had been just a bot groggy, not completely awake yet, when he heard the sound. His eyes snapped open, taking a second to remember where he was. When his eyes met with the girl's, he immediately got his guard up.
Just a bit shakily, he got on his two feet, patting out the dirt and pine sticks from his clothes, all while keeping an eye on the girl in fron of him. What did she want? What was she doing here? He didn't know... hopefully he'll be able to leave without talking to her too much...
"Come on, Rhoit... let's go," he said in a soft voice. The pokemon seemed rather offended that his trainer was just going to leave like that, without even talking to the young lady!
"Haaaaa..." he neighed, refusing to move. "Kuma!"
Soren glanced at his pokemon, then at the girl.
"Let's go, Rhoit." He wanted nothing to do with any human.

((XD he needs to talk to humans!))
The girl watched as he stood up. He didn't seem to happy with her being here. She watched him curiously though. 'wounder why hes in such a hurry.' she thought to her self. She saw the boy walk off but his odd winged horse Pokemon didn't seem to want to move. She smiled a little but stayed in the same place. "Hi there!" she said waving at him and the Pokemon. She squished the Vulpix to her chest but it didn't seem to mind. In fact it looked like it was enjoying it. "The names Momoko, or Momo for short! Whats yours?" she asked curious. She had studied his appearance, and was wondering what was up with the red scar on his forehead. But she didn't ask any questions.

(-shifty eyes- nooo... What are you talking about? O=)
Damn it... now he had to talk to her... he send a glare at Rhoit, who just looked proud of himself. Damn that horse... who did he think he was, taking decisions for him?
"Soren," he said, just loud enough for her to hear. Hopefully she wasn't like this annoying girls he had met once, constantly talking and never shutting up. Nor the ones that pretend they care before throwing him away after they're done with him like a used rags. They were the ones he hated the most, since the wound would take so much longer to heal.
He made sure not to look at her, and to concentrate his gaze on the snow between them.
The air around them was a lot calmer than the day before, without a single sign of any wind. The trees were silent and he could hear Rhoit next to him, breathing loudly as the pokemon looked from his trainer, to the girl, and then back.

Momoko smiled at the older teen. "Nice to meet you, Soren!" She was grinning. "Thats a beautiful horse you got there." She reached down to her belt and pulled off a pokeball she threw it and it a 9 tailed fox like Pokemon appeared. It had Black fur with a streak of red that ran right down its back to the tails making the tails red. It also had a pair of White horns on its head. "This is Hikaru!" She grinned as she introduced one of her favorite Pokemon to the older teen. "What are ya doing here in the trees?" Though Momoko had limitless energy she wasn't to smart with common sense, or at least thats what she led people to believe.
