Darn it... she seemed like the one that liked to talk... not only that, she seemed like the kind of person that wants him to join in on the conversation as well! He had to get away soon. He came to Cheyenne so that he could be alone, away from humanity, and that's what he was going to do.
"Thanks... His name's Rhoit," he said as he thought about a way to get away. Her pokemon certainly was impressive, but he couldn't feel the connection with it, as it wasn't at least part flying type. "He's... not so bad either..."
As she asked him what he had been doing in the woods, he made up a quick excuse, grabbing the chance as it came.
"I got a bit lost last night and used the tree as shelter for the night... but I really have to get back to the route now, so if you'll excuse me," he said in a very polite way while taking a few steps away from the human.

She smiled. "I like that name Rhoit. Whatever it means." She shrugged. "Thanks i cant remember when i got her. Shes the motherly figure of my Pokemon." She laid a hand on Hikaru's head and began to pet her. "Aw come on don't be a spoil sport i don't see many other people often. I've got other Pokemon. You can meet them." she pulled out 4 other pokeballs and threw them. Out of one came a Croagunk. It poised and cooly leaned up against a tree. Out of another one came a baby Wynaut. It grinned up at a Soren before wobbling over and snuggling up to Hikaru. A ghost materialized out of the third pokeball. It had no shape as it was transparent and its arms waved. It seemed to wave at Soren before it went off to scare the baby Wynaut. Out of the last one Came a Farfetch'd, it looked curiously up at Soren and never looked away as it stared up at Soren weirdly.

Soren sighed. Now he'll have to show her all of his pokemon too, out of respect, and spend even MORE time with her.
The wynaut was just a little bit freaky but the Farfetch'd interested him, as he felt a connection with the flying pokemon.
Without a word, he let out the rest of his pokemon out. They were all a bit confused as to why they had been let out.
"Elsu, Meris, Seath, Oriole, and Allyra," he said. Farfetch'd, Wingull, Ookira, Natu, and Spoink.
While Elsu just stared at the other Farfetch'd in the snow, Meris was on his trainer's shoulder, huddling for warmth. Seath and Allyra had went to meet the other pokemon while Oriole simply found a low branch to rest on, ignoring everyone.
Soren stayed alert, waiting for any other opportunity to just leave.

Croagunk croaked and looked upon the new Pokemon that the male trainer had brought out of their pokeballs. It saw a green bird Pokemon fly up into the tree he was leaning against but paid no attention. The Farfetch'd looked as another Farfetch'd came out of the pokeball. "I see very cool!" she grinned and began to point out her Pokemon. "Far is the Farfetch'd, Shun is the Croagunk, Kyuubi is my perverted Vulpix here, You already met Hikaru and Squishy is the Baby Wynaut. Oh and the ghost Pokemon there is Nightmare." she grinned. Nightmare appeared right in front of Seath and Allyra. It grinned and waved at them a little. In side its head it was thinking of ways to scare everyone.

Soren simply gave a little grunt to show that he had heard. He had nothing else to say, though, and really just wanted to leave and to go back ont he first route. He still had to train his Pokémon!
However...
He glanced at his Pokémon.
Seath and Allyra didn't really seem to want to leave, and Rhoit was determined to make him stay.
Allyra let out a little gasp when the ghost Pokémon appeared, but it quickly became a squeal of excitement. She bounced around, carefully balancing the pearl on her head. Seath just carefully examined everything, still open, but slightly more wary than his psychic friend.

The girls pokemon roamed around the trees. A few of them never really moving and just leaning up against a tree, looking cool. Hikaru would lick the baby wynaut everyone in awhile and the Wynaut would snuggle closer to her for warmth. Momoko made an "Awwwing" Sound at the site. It was so cute. She grinned and then looked over at Soren. "So Soren. Did you just start your adventure. Seeing as how you are on route one." She grinned. "I just started out my self to."

ooc// -bump- I'm alive And I'd like a reply, since Momoko seems to have quit. ><; Um... -inserts random post here- Soren sighed in relief when the girl finally left. It had taken him some time to drive her off, but he did it. Good ridance. He didn't want anyone to help him. This was his journey, and other humans would just be annoyances. Besides, his pokemon friends were enough to keep him company.

Ahh, but his annoyances were only beginning!
Everyone's favorite jerk happen to be wandering down this path as well, taking his sweet time leveling his Pokemon before heading off to the gym. he was experianced, after all. Proudly he would boast about his three league championships if someone happen to ask. Katje had just won a battle, so now he was just quietly walking with Eerieon at his side when they crossed paths.
Keeva knew he was there, thanks to a keen nose and ears, and that prevented them from running right into eachother. however, the other trainer was still in his way, and he paused a few feet before him, staring rather emotionless at the boy. Eerie, on the other hand, floated forward to check this other person out in every angle possible. She was indeed a curious creature. Keeva's furry black ears pressed back slightly, and he flicked his tail in frustration before barking something in the Pokemon language at her, and she returned to his side.
Unfortunately for the other boy across from him, Keeva was an arrogant person, and the path wasn't exactly big enough for them to just walk by one another. Bare feet allowed his clawed toes to scratch against the dirt impatiently.
"Move."
All he said. It wasn't said rudely, hatefully, or any other way, just said, and meant.

Soren glared at the boy that just rudely told him to move. All his Pokémon were in their pokeballs, and as he quickly counted them with his hands, brushing over every one of them, he just stood there, refusing to move. He didn't say anything though, but his intent was pretty clear.
He wasn't going to move if the other boy was going to act that rude. Besides, why was the boy this rude anyways? He looked over the boy. That was a pokemorph... probably a canine... could it be that he had figured out that he was a half breed? Soren hoped not. That always meant that something bad would happen.
Maybe... maybe he was just asking for a fight. That would be better. He could take the jerk on! He believed in his Pokémon.... they were his friends, his only friends, and they would be able to come through, no matter how strong this guy might be.

Perhaps the problem here was that Keeva was no boy like the one he faced. He was one of the oldest trainers in the region actually (to his dismay), but it was still a treat. his bright green eyes narrowed and glared at the boy across from him. The scent that entered his nostrils told another story about this certain someone. Another morph... but what? He didn't possess any bluntly obvious traits like his ears and tail, but that scent.... Bird. Prey, more like it.
He grinned now, a sharp-tooth fangy grin that didn't seem to be of humor.
"Avian pride. Only one step beneath canine." For once, Keeva seemed amused and in a good mood now. Forget the fact this insolent kid wouldn't get out of his way, this was a matter of pride now. One he knew how to solve without a fist fight. Besides, he knew a bird couldn't win in a physical brawl against a canine, that would just be unfair.
Eerie glanced up to him curiously. She had witnessed rivalry before, but not like this very often. "Shall I fight, Keeva?" Asked her sweet, haunting voice. His gaze did not leave Soren. "Yes, Eerie, and you will fight with dignity and pride. We're going to teach the Avian kind a little lesson about disrespecting their elders." He smirked.
Eerie simply nodded and floated forth to stand infront of her trainer, between the two males. She knew as well he was some sort of bird-type morph, and most likely would have bird companions. It would be an easy fight if she wished it to end quickly, but the fact she was fighting completely fair meant it would be a bit harder than that. Birds... she knew not to underestimate them. But she also knew their tactics very well.
"Show me my challenger, bird-human." Cried Eerie sweetly to Soren. It was rather hard to see her as a fighter, being to elegant and innocent looking.

Well, looks like the other did notice his pokemorph ancestry. This didn't make Soren happy at all. He didn't like it when others knew about it. Unconsciously, he rubbed his forehead, where the mark of the Branded, the halfbreed, was clearly marked for the world to see. He would usually just pretend that it was the mark of a sorcerer, but it was harder to fool another morph than it was a human.
But really, Avian pride? He didn't have too much of that. Or at least, he didn't want to believe he did. For him, it was self-defense. The world is cruel out there and only those that fight to defend themselves can make it out, especially if one is discriminated.
But if this guy wanted a fight, he'd give him a fight...
A hand went to his pouch and, he felt the pokemon inside, knowing exactly which one contained what. He almost wanted to use his Swellow, to really show him just how hard a bird can fight, but that'd be rather unfair. He knew that Oosu was over-leveled, and he had told the bird he'd treat it with respect.
This was a battle between him and the jerk.
Now, he had to see which pokemon he should let out. Oriole was out of the question. The little natu was still too inexperienced. His Farfetch'd would be unfair, as the pokemon in front of him seemed to be a ghost one. She sure looked kind of ghost-y. He almost wanted to use Seath, but that'd prove to the man that he was seeing the benefits of being a canine.
No.
He was going for pure flying, pure bird. Well, Bird and Normal, as they didn't come in pure flying. In that case, he was back to Elsu. Well, so be it. That pokemon had proved its worth, and he was going to trust him.
Even if using him would greatly put the odds on his side.
Ah well. This will have to do.
Without a word, he reached for the pokeball and threw it in the air. At the highest point, the Farfetch'd was let out of its pokeball.
"Come on, Elsu. Let's show this man his place," he said.
The pokemon just nodded and clung onto its stick tightly.

Keeva read this boy like a book. Perhaps he didn't act what he was intentionally, but the natural instincts came before anything. Birds stick to the flock, and just as he predicted, the kid chose a flying type. Typical. He glanced to Eerie as she awaited her opponent. Canine? Sort of. But feline as well. Although he loved to stay with canine only, there were some heavy limitations if he did that. He smirked as his hands slid into his pockets. Neither male would probably need to even utter a command to their pokemon in human language. Hell, Keeva didn't need to vocalize his at all since Eerie could read his thoughts. Most of the time, he let his pokemon choose their own way of battling. Made them stronger that way.
"Well chosen. Farfetched is immune to my Ghost typing, Eerie smiled and giggled, stepping closer to Soren and the bird. And I am weakened by it's physical attacks. I will enjoy this challenge!" A purpleish, translucent bubble began to appear about Eerieon's body, slowly expanding until it engulfed her, hardened, and then faded. The Barrier would protect her for a short while against those annoying physical attacks. She stood poised to pounce, and ready to zip out of the way of any sneaky attack.
"Come now, birdy, show me what your human has taught you!"

Soren took a moment to survey the battle scene. That barrier the Pokémon put up was going to be a bit of a problem. In that case, he'll just have to start by weakening the pesky little fox first.
He looked over at the man -who still pissed him off, just by looking at him- and then back to the field. His Pokémon was in the air for now, safe from immediate physical damage. However, he really doubted that the Eerion knew that many physical attacks to start with.
At any case, he only had a few moves Elsu could do now.
"Elsu, Fury cutter," he said, not even bothering for specifications. The Farfetch'd knew what he wanted. They understood each other, even without words. This attack would work nicely in a battle that would probably last a long time. Even though the first hit wouldn't be too strong, the consecutive ones will be lethal.
Without a word, the Pokémon swooped down from the sky, ready to use its stick to deal the attack. He could not lose this fight. That would be unacceptable. This was more than just a Pokémon battle; it was a matter of pride, a matter of race.
