[[ I'm here to save you! <3 (and to get that mod coin) ]]
There was a long and winding path, curving around the cliffs and random bubbling pools of magma. Dusty and dirty it proved to be rarely used, Karen's footsteps leaving a clear path in the soft earth. Further down, there was a small opening and the path lead out of the Volcano for a brief time, and they would be walking on a cliff, where the drop was quite high. Soon enough though, the path entered the labyrinth of the volcano once again and the atmosphere began to grow hotter than usual as a bubbling, steam bath was spitting in front of the them. The heated magma created a warm, if not a bit scalding rest in the water. Soaking in the hot springs would increase health and decrease tiredness.
A mighty Pokémon had been sleeping behind a rock, his large grey mass of a body lying on the ground and enjoying the extreme warmth from the hot springs. It was so wonderful, he wouldn't let anyone but him enjoy it. The ground type was very sensitive to any noise so as he heard Karen come through the area, his eyes snapped open and he tensed.
The Donphan peered around the rock, only hesitating for a moment, before seeing the trainer and having his eyes grow red with rage. <NOO! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?> he screamed, running towards the trainer. <YOU CANNOT PASS. AND IF YOU WANT TO. YOU'LL HAVE TO GO THROUGH ME FIRST!> he yelled, laughing insanely. <Good luck with that> he spat bitterly. <You have a chance to escape unscathed, but you better do it now or else!>
A Donphan has appeared!

“Hey Chief, check this place out.” Karen took in a deep breath, exhaling with a pleasant smile at the following scenery. It was a much more welcoming area instead of the loathed halls and dead ends they had walked right into. Chief cried for joy, running right ahead of her and plopping on the warmth of one of the nearby rocks. She was a little too tired and lazy from all of that walking, that she just had to take a little break.
<NOO! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?>
Karen and Chief leapt up in surprise, and one look at the Donphan brought shivers up their spines. From the looks of things, it was just as lean and mean as the last one they encountered in a very similar place. Chief glared at him with a tiny growl, the most she could let out as she charged in front of Karen, skidding to a halt with a protective cry.
<Bub, do ya treat all of your guests like that? We’ve been walking and fighting for hours, and when we finally come to a peaceful area to set up camp, you try and scare us off. We need this place! And I don’t care if it belongs to you or not, we’re not leaving!> She argued back, grained of sand slowly rising from the ground as she started to hit the peak of her anger and agitation. Not attacking, but the threat was there.
”Oy…I’m not that angry about it…No need to get vio-“ Karen stopped when she noticed that Chief was really started to get pissed at the Donphan, seeing that it was laughing at them. She was reminded of the last one they had been with, the great battle that followed after it. She was beginning to get a huge feeling of déjà vu, and started looking around to see if maybe a Nidoran was around here, like the last time. Maybe it evolved? Was it even the same one? She couldn’t be sure. But maybe all Donphan were aggressive like this.

<I said leave!> The wild Donphan growled as he gave a pieing glare at two. It would give them one last chance to leave it's home. <Leave now, or so help the police that find your body!> He laughed at the thought of the police finding their mangled bodies. It crouched into a ready position, prepared if they didn't leave.

Narrowing her eyes to the thinnest of slits, the Trapinch simply couldn’t believe that she was being treated so rudely. She had been walking for hours, her trainer was tired, one of her companions was injured, and going up and out of this Volcano would take forever, so the only thing they could do was go down and find a safe place to camp! And this was what they ran into next?! Actually, she wasn’t all that surprised that she had to run into another fight, but dog gonnit she didn’t want to fight!
<No…freaking…way.> She hissed, unleashing the Sand Tomb that she had been preparing from a few minutes ago. It had been charged up, and ready to go on the first impulse.
’Oy…She’s a spoiled little one, isn’t she? But, I think she has it handled. She took on the last Donphan pretty easily. I guess I should try and set up camp now, while most of the Wild Pokemon are frightened away. ‘ She frowned at the battle, but there wasn’t much she could do. There was no way she was going to stop Chief from what she did best, and she was just as tired as she was.
”Rosatos,” She called as she took out another Pokeball, releasing an Exeggcute from its containments. ”Keep a look out for Wild Pokemon, and help me unpack.” She listed them out on her fingers with a content, but weary smile. Letting her huge backpack slide off of her back as she rolled to a more hidden area behind some rocks. She could watch Chief from here, while protect themselves from any random Donphan attacks.

The Donphan tensed up even more after relizing that the group would not leave easily. The large brawn of the ground type would make him difficult to beat, especially since he was full rested just woken up from a nap.
The might beast let out yet another bousterious laugh, toss his trunk back into the air at the angered expression on the Trapinch. <You... you really think you have a chance against me?> he said, scoffing at the nonsense that ran through this Trapinches mind. <Your funeral.> he finally said.
Noticing the sand attack being unleashed he let out a small grunt of pain as his foot refused to move and he fell to the ground overtaken easily by the Sand Tomb. The Donphan growled angrily. Perhaps it wan't the best idea to dive into a battle right after waking up. His foot was still asleep.
As the sand attacked him brutally he was struck with the reliaztion he couldn't move until this vortex died down. Angrily he stomped on the ground and with a mighy roar unleashed a Magnitude attack.

Karen had just started getting to work on gathering several plastic containers, stacking them on top of the other when a deep rumbling halted her progress. It had been short, at first, but then gave a mighty quake! Forcing her on the only part of her body with cushions, and a whole bunch of plastic containers falling all over her. Rosatos was in panic mode; several had become unstable and ended up rolling away from the group. <Help! Help! Help!> The tiniest egg screamed as it rolled dangerously close to a Hot Spring, and as the attack came an end, it had stopped right at the edge with a whimper. The heat from the steam felt like it was roasting the Exeggcute into an omelet.
”That felt like some Earthquake…Wait, how many of you guys were there again?” Karen stood up, with several Exeggcute looking around curiously. It was hard keeping track of themselves so often, but they were able to sense that someone was missing. Chief had managed to hang in there after that Magnitude, though it had her trapped in her place until the attack was finally over. She nervously glanced around, with the fear that foreign objects might fall on her. Nothing of the sort had happened, but in a place like this, it was foolish to use attacks like that.
<Idiot, we’re in a Volcano. I dare you to try that again. Kill us all, why don’t you. Doesn’t your home mean anything to ya’?> She barked at the Donphan, getting rather irritated with her suspicions that the Volcano might blow any moment. The most she could think of doing was trying to give that Donphan a good nip in the rear end, something he wouldn’t forget! But she wasn’t exactly close to him yet. There was a gap between the two, and she felt open for counter-attacks. With a deep breath, she disappeared into the shadows. Vanishing from her spot until she reappeared right between the Donphan’s very own tusks, and leapt at him with a Faint Attack. [/center]

The Donphan shook his head free of the sandy grit flying into his eyes, ingoring the pain of the tomb as the hard grains sliced his body with hairthin strikes. Though small, they were plentiful and they didn't cease their brutal beating up on the Donphan. The elephant like pokemon did have a thick sheild and for that he was grateful, but the sand could found bare flesh. It would take a lot more than a little sand to bring him down! The Donphan echoed that thought with a mighty roar as the ground quaked around him.
He remained his balance and chuckled as the weak Exeggcute scattered, rolling all over the ground. One nearly becoming his breakfast. Sunny side up, yum. He did spot with his beady eye a small egg roll into a crack and disappear from sight. Laughing at the pathetic pokemon and the clueless trainer, he nearly kneeled over, clutching his side.
<Idiot, we’re in a Volcano. I dare you to try that again. Kill us all, why don’t you. Doesn’t your home mean anything to ya’?>
With an exasperated groan, he shot a vicious glare at the pokemon, adverting his attention away from the trapped Exeggcute to the opponent Trapinch. He was met with a Faint Attack and he shuddered at the closeness of the orange pokemon. He retailated with yet another Maginitude, this one clearly weaker, but still powerful.
<See how much I care?> he roared.

Karen had finally noticed where the missing Exeggcute was as she let out a startled gasp, running straight to his rescue as she cuddled him in her arms. The rest had been equally panicked, but had mysteriously calmed down the moment their brother was out of harm. Karen and the one Rosato (note that I didn’t use the plural name) peered down the crack and shuddered. It was a lot of water. Hot. Boiling. Probably the source from all of the hot springs that were so close to the Volcano. But this was much too hot to even think about taking a swim in.
”Well that was close.” She muttered, walking back with the rest of the group to attempt to set up camp. But as she did that, the Donphan let out another fucking magnitude, screwing up all of her efforts once more.
”Chief, kick its ass with Giga Drain.” She called out from behind the rocks, her face turning a bright red from having all of her efforts destroyed with a wimpy attack such as that. Chief struggled to hold her ground from right underneath the Donphan, but to her surprise, the vibrations seemed to end much quicker the closer she was to the Donphan. Though it was practically impossible to avoid. Her teeth started to glow green with the forces of nature, green aura radiating from her mouth as she turned her Giga Drain into a physical move, choosing to Bite into her prey in order to suck his health.
