Dratini was hit by the attack, and stumbled back a bit before getting up again. "Okay Dratini use wrap!" Namine called out to her Pokemon. Dratini slowly slithered other, balancing herself enough for a powerful wrap attack.

The Spoink was quite pleased that her attack had hit and proclaimed with with an obnoxious cheer. Dancing around cheerfully, the battle nearly forgotten the Spoink began to belt out yet another tune.
<OOH! Dance, dance the night away! I whacked you! I pounded you! OHH! Sing the night away! You got the night free because I pounded, whacked you AWAY!>
Finished, the Pokémon turned towards the trainer with an eager smile, when her face became plastered into an expression of horror. A strange numb tingling was creeping up her limbs and her body started to convulse before freezing absolutly motionless. It felt as if her body was a live wire just waiting to go off. The feeling remained as she was constricted in a painful manner.
Spoink is Paralyzed!

Namine grew bored of the little Spoink and decided it was almost time to finish this battle. After all, she had to train more and there was no time to play here. "Let's go Dratini! Use Twister now!" She cried out victoriously.
Dratini nodded and spun a twister of water to push towards the Paralyzed Spoink. She smiled and twirled around happily with her finishing move hoping it would actually work.

OOC: lulz. My posts suck right now. But I want to reply to as many threads as possible...so...yeah. BIC: Paralyzed, injured, and not very willing to put up much more of a fight, the Spoink found herself letting the Twister strike her, sending her into a spiral. Over and over, the weak gust of wind sent her until she stood uneasily on her tail. Unable to hop around like she could in the past, she was trapped with spirals in her eyes. The dizziness was getting to be too much for her. She wanted her mommy! <I-I…I give up.> She cried, hating to admit it but she wanted it to stop. She was still young and innocent by nature. As soon as she could, she wanted to get some ice on her arms and red right away. Dratini has gained a level. Battle won![/CENTER]

[Ooc: It's okay lol don't worry]
Namine smiled and returned her Dratini only to look at the Spoink. She didn't care much to capture it so, she walked past, happy as usual and blissful as ever for Namine wanted to find more Pokemon to battle with and capture.

Black bug-eyes followed Namie as she walked along. That battle had been quite impressive. Sticking to the shadows, the Pokemon scuttled after the trainer. Such a strong person would truly be a good person to have on its side. . . It would need to approach the Pokemon trainer first. . .
But it had to be a dramatic entrance. First impressions were everything! They could make or break the way a trainer looked at a Pokemon. This little bug type hoped that this trainer would like its entrance enough. It wouldn't mind having a strong trainer at its back to protect it.
A thin string of nearly-invisible thread shot from the pincers of the little spider Pokemon and attached to a tree across from the one the spider was in. Taking a breath, the Spinarak swung out from the tree and in front of Namie, doing a little back-flip and landing on its small legs, facing the trainer.
{Oi!} he chirped, standing in front of Namie. Even though the Spinarak so much smaller, she looked up at the girl with a determined gaze. {I want a battle. Maybe if you can defeat me, I'll let you catch me!} She was speaking as if the trainer really had no choice in the matter.

Namine smiled and nodded towards the spider-Pokemon. "Okay, you seem to want a battle." Namine pulled out a Pokemon and threw it out, allowing her Vulpix to appear. "Okay Vulpix, use tail whip, then ember!"
Vulpix appeared, and shook her tail towards the Spinarak playfully then, quickly blew bits of ember towards it.

Ha! Look at that silly little fox wave her tail at me. . . What does she take me for? the Spinarak thought. If that was all that little Vulpix was do-- wag her tail at the Spinarak-- then the little spider didn't have to try very hard, now did she? This was hardly going to be a hard battle!
Or so the Spinarak thought. She had started to scuttle toward the Vulpix while the Pokemon's back was turned to her, but then the Pokemon whipped around and blew a barrage of little flames at her. The Spinarak screeched with surprise and tumbled backwars, landing on her back. She righted herself with a string of web and glared at the Vulpix.
{That hurt!} she declared, sounding a little surprised. Out from between her pinchers came a string of sticky web. It was her String Shot attack, and she was trying to tie up her adversary. Next came a round of Poison Stings. {I'll get you for that!}

Namine bit her lip, she didn't like spiders very much. No, in fact, she had always hated spiders and just the way they moved and acted. This one, also terrified her a little as well. "Vulpix, dodge and use ember again!" She ordered.
Vulpix quickly dodged the string shot, the poison sting hitting her tail which, in turn made Vulpix wince a little. Quickly, she turned and blew bits of ember at the little spider, a bit annoyed with it's proud attitude.

Pokemon wre very attentive to feelings in the enviroment, especially from humans, it was so easy to tell how they were feeling. Their shifting feet, creased eyebrows, or the biting of the lip could give away everything. The Spinark was especiall atuned and with a minute glance at the trainer, who seemed to be slightly scared of her.
The pokemon smiled, a bit mischeviously, and an idea in place, she attempted to side-step the oncoming ember attack, but misjudged the direction of the wind and it blew right into her. With a small howl of pain, the Spinark glared at the pokemon before scuttling towards the trainer.
The pokemon quickly sent out a String Shot at the Vulpix and the trainer and then after circling them both attempted to tighten the string to make them be stuck. side by side in the sticky string. It was a delicate proceedure and even if it didn't work, the pokemon would as least lose some speed.
The Spinark decided to send out some more Poison barbs, the idea of poisoning the Vulpix seemed appealing.

Vulpix had been moving, trying to avoid such string and only stepped in it. The sticky goo was on her paws, which made her angry as she tried to scrap it off on the side. Which also distracted her a little and she was hit with the poison sting. [Ow!] Vulpix yelped and looked to her Trainer for a command. Namine watched the Spider carefully, Oh how she just wanted to walk over to it and step on it, or even hit it with her shoe- YUCK! "Vulpix ember again!" Namine called out, maybe burning the little bug like you did to a tick when you removed it would work as well, as long as it didn't pop.

The Spinark scuttled back slightly, the hostility coming from those two made her very nervous. The trainer had gone from disgusted and frightened to pissed and... still disgusted. The pokemon was a little intimidated now, she could tell whatever those two were thinking were not pleasent thoughts.
The pokemon shuddered, but remained strong, and with a strong attitude, forged forwards. The green pokemon ran towards the ember, and with narrowed eyes rolled aside, only getting minimal damage.
Without further adou, the spider pokemon shot out a well aimed String Shot and proceeded to shot out Poison Sting barbs at the pokemon. It was going down.

The poison sting hit Vulpix, and she winced, leaning forward to paw at her nose the way a dog would when it was stung by a bee on the muzzle. The string shot also hit, and stick string was all over the ground and in the fur of the fox Pokemon. Namine bit her bottom lip and took a step, worried about her fire Pokemon. "Vulpix, Sand attack then Ember!" She cried out, still nervous about this Spinarak. Namine hated bugs, with a fiery passion. Some of them were cute but this one just cheeped her out and sent chills down her spine. Nonetheless, this little bug would become quiet the companion if Namine got the chance to capture it.
Vulpix managed to get the string off and to not get poisoned from the barbs. She turned and kicked her feet towards the spider, kicking up dust and sand. While the dust was still in the air, Vulpix did a back flip and turned towards the Spinarak, blowing out bits of flame and ember.

The Spinarak watched with a profound interest at the trainer's actions. Normally, humans, especially pokemon trainers were not hard to figure out. They wanted to become the best and in order to do that they had to capture and battle pokemon. This Spinarak had been through many battles, some she had come out victorious, some she had barely escaped concious. Her trick to battles was to simply not get captured; this pokemon knew when to flee.
However, Namine was different, clear passion radiated off her in waves. Hostility towards her, but yet a longing, as if she wanted the bug type to be part of her team. The small spider-like pokemon couldn't help but wonder what it would be like to be trained by a professonial trainer.
The sand hit her out of nowhere and she let out a cry of bewilderment as grit flew into her eyes and blinded her for a moment in time. The debris in her eyes was enough of an opening for a easy attack. The Spinarak floundered on the ground like a fish out of the water. Soon not only did she have to deal with problem of opening her eyes, but now she was inflicted with a painful barrage of flames that singed her skin. Luckily none led to a burn, but it was effective and painful nonetheless.
IT took some time for her to return back to a normal state of mind, but now she was even more determined and with a yelled statement, <Yu aren't getting me that easy!> She soon scuttled up a tree and shot a Poison Sting attack from the canopy.

Namine quickly jumped to her feet. The past days had been wet and rainy with thunderstorms but, she was happy nonetheless. "Quickly, dodge and ember again!" Namine cried out, wanting to hurry and defeat this bug, it was beginning to get very annoying to her and she didn't care to continue this. Maybe if she was angry enough, she'd just step on it but, Namine wanted to capture the Spinarak.
Vulpix jumped out of the way, watching the poison sting fly past her tail before she ran up as close as possible to spit out bits of flame and ember in an ember attack.

The Spinarak after releasing the wave of the poisonious barbs was quite disappointed to see none of them hit their mark, but instead landed harmlessly on the ground. A few blades of grass wilted and died, but the Vulpix was home free.
The green pokemon was not expecting such a quick counterattack and in her haste to scramble away from the pokemon, retreating into the safety of the leafy canopy tripped over a protuding branch. Now instead of kiding quietly she was exposed, hanging off the tree only by a small amount of spun silk.
The Vulpix did not pause in it's attack and continued, sending a barrage of unvoidable embers directly towards the bug type. Knowing this was the end, the pokemon screwed her face up and glanced away, before a sensation of falling and extreme pain shot through her. She fainted before she hit the ground.
Congrats! Spinarak has fainted! Capture or move on? Vulpix gains a level! ::Spinarak::
