Ele rolled her eyes and growled. She was getting very sick of these bubble attacks. She pushed through the bubbles, slowing down a lot. "Ele... what about Spark?" She called. "Siran, try and Focus Energy." Jay commanded.
Ele jumped at the Poliwag, but though it was easy to see what she was about to do, being so much slower now. So if the Poliwag really wanted to, he could dodge it with time to spare. Her body sparked with anger. She wanted this battle to end as soon as possible.
Siran was even more frustrated. She had gotten hit be that Bubble attack every turn. Her eyes narrowed as she glared at the Female Poliwag. Focus Energy, she could do that. Siran focused all the energy she had so this next attack was sure to hit with power!

The male Poliwag was concerned about his parnter, and while watching Ele, his eyes drifted over to the female every so often. He stepped aside, but not quickly enough as the electric attack came down with full force against him. He was electrocuted since the attack was twice was effective. He collasped, he was down, but not quite yet out. Unable to stand, despite his best efforts he let out a weak cry. He had failed. Quickly though, he shot a Water Gun attack at the Shinx. He wasn't going out with out a fight!
The female Poliwag was still disoriented, and as she strumbled around, she attempted to find a place to sit and rest. That was a challenging obsticle considering that she was in the midst of a battle. She shot out a stream of bubbles towards Siran, something that could be dodged easily.

Siran was ready for this bubble attack. She ducked and rolled to the side, dodging the bubbles, finally! "Siran, Fury Swipes!!" Jay called, jumping up and down with excitment. Giving a smile, Siran ran towards the Female with her attack, she was going to finish this battle if it were the last thing she did.
Ele wasn't in the same shape as Siran. She was still slow, and very wet. The Water Gun hit her dead on and she shook herself, trying ot get some of the water out of her fur. Knowing this wouldn't help, she sighed. "Oh Ele, Leer and Spark!" She watched Ele, stumble, a little tired from all her attacks. But none the less, she attacked, first giving a sharp Leer then running towards the Male with a Spark, hurting herself, cause water and electricity don't go very well together.

The female attempted to dodge the attack, her reflexes a little better now. Most of the dizziness was gone, unforchently, the Focus energy, hyped up Mankey and being soaking wet didn't help her chances. The Mankey grabbed at her, the first barely touching her, but as he caught up, she was doomed. Stuck in a mess of claws, every strike making her health fall lower and lower. Letting out squeals of complaint, the poliwag tried to escape, but the Mankey held her in his clutches firmly. With the final blow, the last of her health ebbed away.
The Poliwag fell to the ground-- fainted.
The male was stronger however, and although landbound, he refused to give up easily. The Leer was so piercing, he trembled under her gaze. He was attacked with the spark, electricity coursing throughout him. The super effective attack was the final blow, he was still conious, but unable to will himself to move. Basically, he was done. Letting out a weak groan, the Poliwag shot a glare at the three.
[[Congrats! Ele and Siran gain a level each!]]
[[Capture the Poliwags or continue on?]]

Jay stopped being happy and ran to the Poliwags as they both fainted, she paused, not wanting to upset the other male Poliwag. "Oh, sorry..." She bit her lip as she called back both inot their pokeballs. "We didn't mean to hurt them." She stoo up and frowned. Jay knew there was really nothing she could do to thelp them, so she just sighed and walked away, her head hung a little. She could still see the glare the younger male Poliwag shot at her. Jay wasn't happy with hurting them, but it was a battle and in a battle, you want to win.

Despite the well known fact that Route 2 was known for its large population of water types, many migratory Pokémon enjoyed to use this specific area as a rest stop. Especially ones that loved the fresh country air, with clear blue skies and a source of fresh water made it plentiful with food. The only problem was that it could get very competitive with so many Pokémon living in the same area. But in the case of a lone Butterfree, she found an easy exception to this rule.
<Hey! Hey! Get off me you loser!> A grumpy male’s voice shouted from mid-air, struggling to defend the recently bloomed flower upon his head. His body was easily carried away by a gust of wind above the bridge of Route 2, but was slowly sinking lower and lower as a Butterfree haunted him from above.
<Oh come on! One little taste? I’m hungry, so be a pal and…> <No! I’m not edible!> The Skiploom cried out from in the air, swatting at the pesky Butterfree that had the funny idea that the flower on his head had fresh pollen. It was probably true though, because this species had a keen sense of smell. Always knowing where flower patches with the tiniest amounts of pollen were located. But there really weren’t that many around here, and being a travelling Pokemon, she wasn’t familiar with the area.
<Pleasepleasepleaseplease-> The Butterfree wouldn’t stop trying to get on top of the Skiploom’s head, but with her sudden weight against him they were soon sent crashing into the ground below. Thankfully they didn’t land in the water but…Ouch…Painful landing.

Jay walked along, glad to be rid of fighting pokemon, well almost. She watched the two pokemon fight for a while before she decied she should help. "Hey you two!" She called and walked briskly over to them. "Careful, or you'll... fall" She sighed as the two fell to the ground.
Giving a roll of the eyes, Jay knelt down by the two. "Are you two alright?" She aske,d knowing the answer wouldn't be 'never better.' She brushed her still wet hair out of her face and bit her lip, a frown coming to her face. Jay often seemed to get into the middle of two or three pokemon in a disagreement. Wonder why that is.

<Never better…> The Skiploom grunted in his daze, being the first to get back onto his feet while taking a glance at the dazed Butterfree. Apparently she had gone into a confused daze from that fall, but he wasn’t all that worried about her. She would snap out of it soon, crazy Pokémon had a habit of doing that. His ears perked up when he realized that this was an actual human he was talking to, not something that you saw every day.
<Gah…How embarrassing…You saw the whole thing?> The Skiploom blushed, trying to hide his face in response. Unlike most Pokémon, he actually viewed humans as higher beings. Almost as if they were gods or something, so he had no reason to be afraid of them.
<mommy? There are duckies swimming in the toilet…> The Butterfree murmured under her breath before recovering from the fall, her wings taking an unsteady flap to get her balanced on her feet. Her large beady eyes scanned Jay with a curious inspection before turning to see if the Skiploom was still around.
<You know, we wouldn’t if fell if you just let me eat the pollen…> The Butterfree tilted her head in an almost sympathetic manner.
<I wouldn’t have fallen if I never met you…> The Skiploom muttered under his breath, sourly crossing his arms in response.

Jay smiled weakly. "I might have, it's alright though. it could have happened to anyone." She didn't really know what she was talking about right now. Her eyes darted to the dazed Butterfree. "Oh dear, are you alright?" She asked it. "That was a pretty big fall." She looked back and forth between the two pokemon.
"You can't eat him." She told the Butterfree kindly. "Would you like it if he tried to eat you?" Jay chuckled lightly. "That wouldn't be good, and there are plenty of flowers that you can eat from around here, and you wont have to fight them." Her soft eyes scanned their surroundings before resting kindly on the Butterfree.

<Ohhh…Now you tell me.> The Skiploom let out a sigh, before sending a glare at the Butterfree. It was true that she looked a little battered from that sudden fall, but it could’ve been worse. They were both lightweight Pokémon, so gravity couldn’t hurt them as much. The Skiploom looked back up into the sky, sensing that there were places to be and staying off schedule wouldn’t be the best thing for him to do.
<Well, I’d hate to leave you alone with her, but I really should be leaving. Thanks for your support.> He chimed, getting right back into the air with an elegant hop into the winds. The gusts of wind blew him farther off into the distance, leading him to his destination.
<I guess you’re right…But none of those flowers had as much pollen in them as he had. I can tell, it’s a hidden sense.> The Butterfree explained, letting out a sigh of disappointment. It was true that she was feeling more than a little bit hungry right now, but she was a Wild Pokémon. She had to fend for herself all of the time, and it did get pretty lonely.

Jay nodded to the Skiploom. "Ok, it was nice to meet you." She called as he drifted away with the wind. "Ok, well if you want, I'll help you find food and keep you company for a while, but I too have to get going soon." She gave a small smile to the Butterfree. She read the disappointed look on the Butterfree's face and frowned. Jay just hated it when pokemon were upset; it made her sad. She didn't want the Butterfree to be upset. "Come on," She stood up and motioned for the Butterfree to follow her. "We'll find you a lot of food." She couldn't help but wonder what was wrong with the Butterfree, so she asked. "What's wrong?" She asked, her face full of concern.

The Butterfree perked up at the mention of food, and was quick to fly right beside Jay’s head, so that way they could meet eye to eye. Though she appeared happy on the outside, there was always something to bug this Butterfree. But she was much too happy to be in the company of another to really care about her own problems.
<Nothing, really! If anything, I’m glad to be around some friendly faces.> The Butterfree replied, suddenly catching the scent of a nearby berry bush. It was funny how she never noticed it from up in the air, but now that she was at ground level, it was as clear as day.
As soon as the two reached the berry bushes, it was already swarmed by a greedy group of Rattata. In front of them all was a Pokémon that looked similar to them all, but was quite different. It was the largest of them all, and whenever it said something, the other Rattata made sure to listen to him. All around him was a pile of Razz and Bluk berries, staining his mouth a dark black while giving his fur a sleek shine. As soon as you thought he was full, he went right up and grabbed another berry. Getting way more than his fair share.

Jay smiled. "Ok, well..." She stopped and sniffed, the Berries were easy to smell now. "Ok, there we are." She walked up but found it full of other pokemon, watching the larger of the five stuff his face she frowned. "Hey, that's not fair." She muttered. "Everyone should get the same amount." Jay's eyebrows pulled together and she pursed her lips.
Letting out a short snort she looked at the Butterfree. "That pig." Jay didn't like to talk ill of pokemon, but this one was getting more than his share. She kept her voice low, but if the Rattatas were listening, they would hear what she was muttering.

Out of all of the Rattata out there, only the one closest to the group had been listening and quickly cried out in an outrage. Throwing his extra ripe Razz Berry to the side, the leader of the Rattata went right down on all fours to growl at these new comers. Clearly offended by her comments, and drawing quite the commotion from the other Rattata as well.
<Something wrong, boss?> <Yeah boss, what’s ta’ matta?> <Why the mean look, sir?>
All of the Rattata’s were questioning, only to draw their attention to their new guests. They had noticed them at the beginning, but hadn’t seen them as threats to their food supply. But if their leader had some kind of grudge against them, then they would have no choice but to join in. It was all part of the pack’s code of honor. Joining in to form a straight line, they all barred their teeth at the Butterfree and Jay, scared the poor bug Pokémon witless and making her hide right behind the trainer.
<Face the consequences for your disrespect! We fight now!> The leader of the Rattata hissed, lifting his right paw up to signal the ‘CHARGE!’ for the group. All four of the Rattata nodded their heads in acknowledgement with a ferocious battle cry, chasing after the two without warning.

Jay was a little shocked. "Five of them!!!! All five!!" She exclaimed. She started to back away. "Hey, Butterfree, get ready to fly as fast as you can!" She told the pokemon. Jay would either have to fight or run, she'd start with running. She quickly pulled out a pokeball and opened it, a Wingull flew out and followed behind her. If it came to a battle, Jay would need a lot of pokemon to have a fair fight.
The Wingull flew close to Jay's ear. +Is it battle Jay?+ The pokemon asked, looking behind them. "Not yet, but it might become a battle." She muttered, running faster. She looked behind her only to make sur that the Butterfree was still there. Her blond hair flew out behind her as she pushed her legs as fast as they could go.

The Butterfree didn’t like the way that Jay was saying this to her, and nervously took a couple of wing steps back before fluttering into a panicked dash away from the Rattata. She had only wanted some berries, so why was she being attacked so suddenly? Panting while struggling to keep up with the Wingull, she didn’t dare to look back in fear that it would somehow slow her down.
<AIYEEEEEEE!> She screamed, her voice echoing throughout the route to poke at other Pokémon’s curiosity. One look and they went right back into the bushes, not wanting to get into a scuffle with a couple of angry Rattata.
By now, the group had stopped to about three Rattata chasing after them, the leader being left behind made another one trot all the way back to him as some sort of bodyguard. But the remaining Rattata weren’t going to stop in their chase, not until the group actually learned some manners; Rattata style!

Jay ran faster, only to see the Rattata's still running after her. "ok, Butterfree, I'm going to stop, looks like we have to battle." She muttered to the pokemon beside her. Jay continued to run for a little longer as she pulled out two more pokeballs. "Ready? Marvi Super Sonic!" She shouted to the Wingull, who turned around and let out a SuperSonic attack at the three Rattatas.
As the Wingull was attacking, Jay opened the other two pokeballs and let out a Sandshrew and a Beedrill. "Ok, Ready you two, this is your chance to shine." Jay turned around and stopped facing the rat pokemon. She was going to stop this group of Rattata, Jay wouldn't want her friend and herself to get hurt. "Dasy, Sand Attack, Tec, Fury Attack." Her eyes were set on her three pokemon as they all attacked the chasing Rats.

OOC: You do realize that your Beedrill is at level 1? XP

As the vibrant sound waves were thrown out at high ear piercing volumes the three Rattata were stopped in their tracks. Closing their own ears by getting on their hind legs to pin their ears to their heads with their front paws, crying out to try and block out the sound. One of them was even closing its eyes, as a reaction to the painful sound blast.
As soon as the attack was over, only one out of the three Rattata were confused. This was seen in its eyes and actions, a white glaze replacing its pupils to mess around with its vision. Seeing one of the Rattata as its opponent, it successfully Tackled one of its allies, the two bunching up into a bundle to get scraped by the Sand Attack. Stuck on the bottom of the confused Rattata, it let out a yelp of surprise from the incoming sand, getting more in its eyes than the one on top and scrambled to get it out with its bare paws.
<I can’t believe this! We are so screwed!> The one trapped underneath yelped, earning a sharp bite on the tail from the confused Rattata.
<No we aren’t!> The remaining Rattata shouted, responding to the quick paced Fury Attack with its own Tail Whip, brushing some of the attack away from it and in return getting struck twice. It found an opening of escape, but was getting worried because this was a Beedrill, one of the most violent Pokémon around. Of course it was scared, who wouldn’t be? But it was as determined as ever, and shot after the Beedrill with its Quick Attack.

OOC:... Yes... If I want him to gain levels I have to Battle with him...
Dasy backed away from the Rattata and dug her claws into the ground. Tec tried to dodge the Quick Attack but couldn't. He hissed at the Rat and got ready to attack again. "Tec, Fury Attack again." That was the only attack he knew, but he was good at it. he lunged at the only attacking Rattata with his Attack of Fury! Marvi flew overhead waiting for her attack. "Ok Marvi, Water Gun! Dasy, Rapid Spin." The Wingull dove towards the other two Rattata and sent out her Water Gun. While Marvi was attacking the remaining two Rattata, Dasy got ready for her Rapid Spin attack, her favorite attack. She quickly spun herself until her attack was in play.

OOC: But...Doesn't it need to be at least at level ten...? -confuzzled-

The only attacking Rattata was forced to go into an extreme burst of dodges, to the left, to the right, but one of the slashing blades caught him off guard, stabbing him right on his upper right leg. A gash was left in its place as he retreated farther back, trying to avoid further damage until he could find the safest place to attack. There wasn’t much he could do with that Beedrill moving as fast as he was, but there was some way to get out of this madness.
Running into a Quick Attack, a bold white line began to appear behind him as he made a mad dash off to the rest of the group. Right as Marvi was shooting a Water Gun at the two Rattata, he jumped right underneath the Wingull to slam his body into hers to cut her attack short. Hopefully Tec wouldn’t be as dangerous if he was so close to his other comrades, but he wasn’t sure if that would happen or not.
’Okay! Time to attack!’ The non confused Rattata thought with a grin on his soaked face, even with his buddy’s attack, the Water Gun had enough time to successfully get them soaking wet. He wasn’t quite sure of what to make of the Rapid Spin, but decided against attacking her right away.
Jumping to the side to dodge, leaving the confused Rattata to take the blow and sent him flying at least a couple of inches off the ground before skidding harshly to a stop. Thinking of using Dasy’s Rapid Spin against her, he shot after her with his own Quick Attack to send her spinning even harder, like one of those spinning toys.
