"Of course..." Kalina whispered, still crying (though at a lesser magnitude). "Every single day, I fear the worst is going to happen. I've even been putting off my first show because I've been so afraid of losing one of the children or even losing you. I'm so scared that I could just break down and scream."

Syl laughed, stroking her back to calm her down. "You worry too much. I've told you that before, right? You really shouldn't worry about things so much... I'm fine, the kids are fine, nothing is going to happen to any of us..."
He broke away from her, hands firmly on her shoulders. Golden eyes gazed into hers. "Now, let's see a smile. I won't let go of you until you do."

Loking into Syl's eyes, Kalina couldn't help but give a big smile. "Thank you my dear" she whispered, hugging him again. "I'm...thinking of making my debut in the next town. Would you...please come with me?" she asked. "I'd be so much more confident if you would be there for my first show."

Syl nodded, locks of his messy red hair bouncing around his shoulders. "Of course I will darling. I'd do anything for you... I'm sure you'll be great." Slipping his hand into hers, he flashed her a million dollar smile. "Shall we move on then? We're not going to make it to the next town by just standing around here and talking."

Giving a huge smile, Kalina said "Thank you! I'll never forget this!" before leading Syl towards the next town. Man, she was going to enjoy this show, even if her audience didn't. She was positive she was going to do well, and she wouldn't stop until she had completely wowed her audience.
(Finished. Continued in the town (though I don't know where))
