Once the Wooper group obeyed, the entire group burst out into a mix of song and dance, all making sure not to look at him. Now was the time to take advantage of his long legs compared to their two inch long ones and run for his life! Holding onto the Pokedoll in his arms, he gently placed it on the ground, hiding its face from them to further create the illusion. A few tentative steps backwards, making sure he was still in the clear, he turned around and bolted towards safety. Weaving around trees, jumping over logs, nearly falling face first into some bushes, there was no freaking way he was going to stop running! Nor did he think it was possible for them to catch up to him, since he was long, long gone. Used Trainer Shamu runs like he's on fire!

Indeed. Shamu was running so fast that he probably didn't even notice the emergence of a small Rock Type Pokemon from a tree thick part of La Premier Route. He had emerged in this harsh cold to find some berries for himself and his brothers and sisters, of whom there were so many he could barely count. Still, as the oldest of the pack, he and his mother had to go foraging, while it was his father's turn to look after the other Bonsly of the litter. He was humming to himself, and not really watching where he was going, and so when Shamu ran like the wind through the area, his foot hit Bonsly, sending him several inches back and onto his head on the leafy ground, The kick hurt a hell of a lot more than the landing, and as Bonsly sat up , dazed and confused, a bolt of pain shot through the head. Sure he was a durable Rock Type, but that didn't mean a foot to the face wouldn't hurt. So Bonsly did the only thing he could do in such a situation. He scrunched his tiny eyes shut, opened his mouth surprisingly wide, and wailed for all the world to hear. >WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA,< he sobbed, head involuntarily nodding up and down with every syllable. ::bonsly::

He remembered running and running and turning around just in time to avoid a tree branch crashing into his face, but suddenly something strange happened. He was standing up straight, and then he was not. Instead, his face was propelled into a leafy bush, and his foot really hurt. Grimacing from the pain, he was slowly growing aware of the wailing sound in the distance. Actually, it sounded a lot closer than he originally thought. "Booooonssssly sly slyyyyyy"Oh dear lord what was that howling? The kind that made him want to slam his head into a pillow in hopes of blocking it out, and all he had were leaves. Itchy, scratchy, leaves. Rubbing the blond strands of hair out of his eyes, he frowned upon the sight. A Bonsly. For pete's sake, he just spent like, 12k on one of those. "H-hey. Calm down...I didn't mean to." He grumbled insincerely, mostly upset that his foot felt like it broke. Crap. It probably didn't, but it hurt. That damn crying was probably going to attract unwanted attention too. Great.

Although one would draw attention under normal situations by crying, this crying was so high pitched, so whiny, that nobody came to help the poor Rock Type crying on La Premiere Route's forested area. Bonsly got up, stumbling as he did so. What would he do next? Why call his family to beat this guy up, of course! Stumbling back into the woods, Bonsly began screaming for his brothers and sisters, and if he kept up this volume, they would come in their droves. Best do something? Fight or flight to get rid of this annoying Bonsly? ::bonsly::

That whining! That screaming! That hollering! He had a feeling that it was trying to call for help, just like those Wooper did earlier. Learning his lesson from before, he instantly knew that the solution was to settle this as soon as possible. That involved, an incredible beat down. He grinned, deciding to take out his own Bonsly for another test drive-- hopefully this time with some success. "Bonsly, come out and use a quiet Fake Tears." He hissed, thinking that maybe they could freak out the actual crybaby Bonsly with even more crying. That usually shut kids up, right? It worked when he did it, at least. Or maybe he was simply looking like a strange idiot at the time. <Quiet crying? Quiet? But...I...I like to be loud when I cry.> A smaller Bonsly was released from the Pokeball, hearing the command even before she was released for action. Sniffling, her pitiful eyes glanced upon the actual sad Bonsly, hoping to entice him into silence with her tears.

::bonsly:: Pokemon encounter ! At the sound of another Bonsly's crying, the pseudo-tree paused in his wailing and looked for the source of the noise, sniffling as he did. Tears still ran down his face, but he wasn't screeching loudly anymore; he was rather silent, in fact, apart from the snuffles.
<W-why are you crying?> He questioned towards the weeping Bonsly, beginning to wonder why he himself was crying as well.

<I...I don't know why I'm crying, why are you crying?> The small Bonsly sniffled, attempting to wipe away some of the fluid from her eyes with her green branch. It was a bit of a stretch, but she managed to do it. Seeing that she wasn't actually crying, you couldn't really say that those were 'tears' falling from her eyes. It was really quite the sneaky trick. "Oh. Hey. The Pokedex is working." Susumu knew the power was back on and stuff, but that normal things like Pokeballs and Pokedexes were working? That meant that the Power Plant ordeal was behind him! Success! Pointing it at the two Bonsly, he discovered...that they were rare. RARE? WHAT?! "Oh, h-hey Bonsly. How about you two...uh, battle?" He suggested, suddenly really eager to have another Rare Pokemon, for the sake of having a rare Pokemon. Plus, if he caught it, didn't that mean that he was to earn some kind of a prize? Suh-weet!

Bonsly sniffled slightly and attempted to bring one of his branches down to wipe his eyes, but that didn't work. Sighing, the little rock-tree Pokemon simply gave up and gazed dolefully at his opponent. Apparently, neither of them knew the reason for their tears. Well wasn't this interesting? <I'm crying because... because...> To be honest, he'd forgotten all about being kicked.
Well. <... I don't know,> he admitted.
The trainer said something, which Bonsly had only heard vaguely, and hadn't been able to make out any specific words. He heard the second thing, however, and he blinked in surprise at the trainer and other Bonsly.
<B-Battle?> he stammered. <W-Well I... yes... I sup-pose I could do that...> Blinking again, he then gave a half-shrug, as best as a tree could shrug. <You can go first, I-I guess?>

"Sweet! Uh, I mean. Good choice. We could really use some training, eh, Bonsly?" Susumu winked towards his own, yet felt bad because he couldn't think of a name yet. It had to be a short, simple, Japanese name that he wouldn't forget. But what? Nothing really came to mind, so he figured he'd get a better idea of his own Bonsly's personality before giving it an official name. <...I hate forgetting why I started crying. It's so silly.> The Bonsly chuckled, tilting her head to the side. Well, seeing that they were about the battle, she probably shouldn't be crying right now anyways. It didn't seem appropriate. Come to think of it, they were the same species. Which meant she probably knew all of his attacks. Gulping, she sensed a challenge ahead of her. "The Dex says you can use Low Kick. So start off with that." Susumu commanded, knowing full well that their opponent most likely knew it as well. It all came down to who had the higher level. Bonsly hopped up and down, as if to pump her legs up to get ready. Then, letting out a small 'hyah' she charged at her opponent, attempting to kick at his legs to trip him. { Bonsly } Level 10 Uses Low Kick

The Bonsy was tripped by the Low Kick and fell on his butt. He stayed there for a good 20 seconds before he started crying. Of course, it was Fake Tears but it worked the same.
Then he got up and started Flailing his body around at the other Bonsy. <Ha, take this, and some of this!> At least he was trying.

<A-awww! You're crying again!> The Bonsly pointed out, though having some sense of awareness that it was only a ploy. Sure, her special defense was lowered, but she felt just as strong when it came to physical strikes. So she was more than ready for those Low Kicks and Flails if they came her way! "That's an attack?" Susumu was so engrossed in the bizarre flail attack, that he didn't even realize that his own Bonsly would be harmed. Then again, Low Kick was super effective. Plus the Bonsly was a rock, so it must've done some good damage. ick. <Ow. Ow. Ow. Don't touch me there-- ow. ow. ow.> The Bonsly huffed as the random flailing whacked her all over, but her rock hard abs body made her resistant to the attack. She grunted, enduring it until her trainer had some good advice. "Low Kick if you want to take it out quick!" Oh hey, unintentional rhyme. He paused after he said it, not realizing how childish he must've looked. The Bonsly didn't seem to notice, as she extended her leg once more through the Flail, attempting to put an end to this madness.

::bonsly:: Pokemon battle ! Bonsly stumbled back from his attack, not really expecting the female Bonsly to have reacted that way in response to his Flail. <U-uhm, sorry..> He replied a bit shyly, but before he could so much as take another step, his rock-shelled foe kicked him in the face with one of her stubby, oblong feet. <Yaoww!> He yowled as the kick crippled his body even further.
Well, this was how she wanted to play it, wasn't it? His face turning from stunned to serious, (or as serious as he could muster), the pseudo tree mimicked her last move and kicked his foot at her in much the same way as she did.

Wait. Was that copycat? Didn't this Bonsly know Low Kick? Susumu looked at the opponent with confusion, not finding the attack necessary. Maybe that was just so it could be creative, or maybe the battle effects of the copycat just looked cool. He almost felt bad for his Bonsly when the wild one turned all serious, reminding him of a small child pouting after losing the game you just lost. The Low Kick ended up tripping Bonsly, which was starting to confuse Susumu now that he thought about it. She needed a name, dammit. But what? It was a rock tree. He didn't have anything witty for that at the top of his head. His Japanese vocabulary was growing limited due to lack of practice, but he could still try and think of some words, couldn't he? <O-Owwww.> The young Bonsly whimpered, wishing she could hug her boo-boo and make it better. Face in the ground, and with a sore foot, she slowly got back up. That had really, really hurt. She wasn't about to endure many of those, now was she? "M-Mio. I'll call you that for now. Low Kick seems to be working, so keep abusing it." He nodded, thinking he could tolerate the name for now. Mio didn't feel like arguing it for the moment, and waddled to the side of the male, attempting to kick him at his backside. { Mio } Level 10 Hit by Low Kick (Super Effective + Heavy) Uses Low Kick

Bonsly let out a cry of pain as the kick hit him again, making his chest ache as though someone had set him on fire. Ow ow ow. Dancing back on the balls of his feet, he glared at the other Bonsly. >After I beat you, I'm gonna tell my momma about you. You're mean!< yelled the little tree. Seems someone had forgotten had forgotten that it took two Pokemon to battle. Once again copying the other Bonsly's move via Copycat, he slid low and tried to kick her in the general stomach area of a Bonsly, wherever that was beneath all the rock. ::bonsly:: Bonsly used Copycat to use Low Kick.

<Owww!> The Bonsly cried out in clear pain as that swift kick knocked her back into the ground. Her body appeared battered from the multiple kicks, and she looked as if she was about to cry from the extreme pain covering her body. With a whimper, she managed to get herself off of the ground, although she looked exhausted. "M-Mio. You can do it. It can't last that much longer." Susumu said with strong determination, not really thinking that the opponent could've been at a higher level. If it was, he could just send out another Pokemon to finish it off. <But...it hurts. And his momma is gonna beat me up.> She whimpered, genuinely feeling a bit frightened at the Bonsly's threat. A big Sudowoodo wasn't about to come on over and beat them up, was she? "...bah, ok. I have the perfect thing for this." He responded, taking out a Love Ball that was meant for the Male Bonsly. Apparently it worked best on same species Pokemon of the opposite gender, after he asked the shop keeper a bit. Deciding to give it a try, he aimed it at the wild Bonsly to see if any magic happened. ::bonsly:: { Mio } Level 10 Hit by Low Kick (Super Effective + Heavy) Is WeakeningCatch rate: 8× if used on a Pokémon of the same species as, but opposite gender of, the player's Pokémon

The ball smacked the poor bonsly in the face, which made him start legitimately crying. Being smacked in the face by a pokeball did really hurt! "See, that wasn't too bad." He sighed in relief when the male Bonsly was caught, not really expecting those love balls to have that much use. Hopefully it didn't mind being in such a girly ball, but maybe Pokemon had different views about what was feminine and what was manly. <It...hurt though.> Mio gently lowered her head, a bit upset that her trainer had interfered like that. But any more of those Low Kicks certainly wouldn't of had much trouble taking her down, and she never liked pain. Who did? "Hey, clam down. You did great for your first time by yourself. Rest up." Susumu got down on one knee, gently stroking the small Bonsly's head. It was cold and smooth, but she moved closer to his hand, grateful for the comfort. He smiled, glad to see he wasn't hated at least. He only had to reach into his bag to grab a quick Potion in order to heal her of most of her wounds, while a rest would've taken care of the rest. "Ah, I also grabbed this on the way back from the city. I think it'll really help in training." He exclaimed when a small disc was pulled out of his bag, and Mio could only look at it curiously. It was shiny, but it looked fragile. As if a touch would break it. Susumu gently pressed the TM against her head, and both watched in amazement as it unexpectedly vanished upon contact. Well...that was odd. Seeing that there was little purpose here, he decided to go a little closer to the city, figuring one or two more battles was all he needed.

Two beady eyes watched Susumu. Fury raged in them, he was in his spot. His home, he wanted him out. The Spearow flew down and landed on Susumu's head. <Hey bud! Just where do you think you are? Coming into MY part of the route, some guts you have!> He continued on and on then finally his anger got the best of him. <Hey, excuse me. I never got your name...> The Bonsly pipped up as she walked besides Susumu's legs. She could only look up at him curiously as he returned her gaze with a blank stare. It was as if her words went right through his thick skull. She frowned, realizing that he was one of those humans that couldn't understand Pokemon. "You aren't hungry, are you? Tired?" Susumu asked instead, despite having used a Potion on her not that long ago. She shouldn't be that tired, but she was a baby Pokemon. Maybe he wasn't being sensitive enough to her needs? <N-never mind.> She sweat dropped, strongly refusing with a shake of her head. Susumu only looked confused, but decided to shrug it off. Maybe Mio just wanted the attention, and that was fine. He'd try and take good care of her, especially because she was the newest member on his team. Then there was a rustle in the bushes. Loud. Birds cawing in distress. Then out of nowhere his head was being attacked by some loon of a bird! What the hell?! He waved his arms around like a maniac, attempting to swat the bird away before any more Pecks got to his face. "Mio, Copycat!" He shouted with a scowl towards the Spearow. Mio wiggled her branches in the air until they glowed, getting a pointy edge much like the Spearow's beak. With her new weapon, she swiftly attempted to Peck the bird back.
