<H-hey sir! Why are you even attacking us anyways?!> The Bonsly asked, taking a frightened step after that nasty leer she got. She only pecked him because he was attacking her trainer, but it looked as if this was turning into a full battle. She only glanced at Susumu to make sure he was alright, since he was definitely not a rock, and probably couldn't take a bunch of those attacks. "Get ready with Copycat." Susumu advised, sensing another attack from the Spearow. That leer was nothing, but from the attitude and swagger it had, there was definitely more fight in him. He could only gulp as the bird charged at Mio, making rapid fire strikes at her body, hitting her anywhere it could get its appendages on. He couldn't count just how many moves were made on her, but it looked pretty frightening. <You asked for this.> She squeaked, feeling a tad sore from all of the attacks. She was lucky that she was resistant, but she got hit quite a bit, and that Leer didn't do her any favors either. With a grunt, she used her pointy branches to copy exactly what the Spearow used-- aiming right at its underbelly and feet, the only parts she could probably hit before he flew off.

The Spearow was yelling out as the Fury Attack hit him. He scrambled away only allowing it to hit him four times. It still hurt though, his attacks really had no effect since it was a rock type. But the Leers were doing something, weren't they?
<I'll say one more time and one LAST time....GET OUT!> He yelled. He then Leered at the Bonsy, his eyes glaring at it as he tried his Leer on him. Then, he zoomed in aiming for a Peck on his head. His beck glowing slightly as he started bobbing his head, hoping he was pecking something or someone's head.

<Get out?! When did you say that?! How do we know when we're 'out'?> Mio whined, attempting to close her eyes to dodge the Leer, but it was already embedded in her mind. Those scary, ominous eyes that wanted to take her down would most likely haunt her for a few nights. She cried a little, a bit frightened that this mean Spearow would be after her for a while. "Keep positive, Mio. We're not giving up just yet." Susumu nodded, mostly agreeing with himself. Mio didn't seem to believe it too much, but it was all she had. Susumu winced as the Peck got her right in the noggin, pushing her back a little. She was lucky she was resistant, otherwise she wouldn't be in such a good position. "You're doing fine, Mio. Copycat that Peck." He sighed, trying to figure out when other moves would be appropriate. At the moment, he enjoyed the randomness and adaptability of Copycat. It just seemed like a lot of fun. The Bonsly let out a small whimper, attempting to Peck at the Spearow with her pointy branch due to the Copycat's effects. { Mio } Level 11 (Defense -2) Hit by Peck Uses Copycat-- Peck on Spearow

The Spearow scowled as the Copycat copied his Peck. He was pecked on the head by the small rock and jumped back. He touched his head and flinched, that was gonna leave a bump later on. <I mean, I didn't....JUST LEAVE!> He yelled. He flapped his wings up and flew at the Bonsy in a Fury Attack. He jabbed his head at the Bonsy, aiming at his feet then his head, but mostly he was trying to get past the Bonsy and aim for the Trainer. It was his fault in the first place, after all he had something to protect here!

Despite her high level in the route, Mio was taking all of these hits rather hard. Her lowered defenses made the Spearow's furious onslaught of attacks slowly do more damage than before, and the multiple hits from the Fury Attack were only exploiting it. With a wince, she backed further and further away with each of the blows, finding it harder to be resistant to these types of blows. "Hang on, you've got it on the ropes. Mio, get back in there and counter it!" Susumu cried, putting a passionate foot forward in his attempt to encourage the Bonsly to fight back. Maybe it was cheesy, but he didn't want his Bonsly to give up. She had that young spirit that was just so malleable to everything around her. Five blows. Five blows were made against her that turn. With a pained whine, she started to copy the same attack much more, only this time it felt more like a habit. Pecks and Fury Attacks? She knew how to do those. She charged back at the Spearow, despite the damage against her body.

Spearow hissed in irritation and suppressed pain as the makeshift beak of the Bonsly slammed into his thin, weakening body. Thrown to the ground in a flurry of feathers and claws, he struggled to his feet as his vision swam blurringly, before forcing himself to get back into the air to attack these intruders. >I'm.. I'm serious,< he murmured weakly, swaying in the air as he tried and failed to regain synchronisation with the sky he so often took to. >Route One... serious business, yo...< he continued blearily, glaring at Susumu and Mia. With that, his beak glowed a dull white as he flew towards Mia with a stumbling, slow flight, aiming his beak at her face. He would get rid of these intruders if it was the last thing he ever did. Anyone who trespassed into his territory were lifelong enemies. His life story was full of these lifelong enemies, but he had never taken a beating quite like this before. ::spearow:: Spearow is weakening. Spearow used Peck.

<S-sorry sir. I think this turned into training.> Mio whimpered, feeling a bit bad for the Spearow. But her trainer didn't know any better, especially because he couldn't understand a word she said. How could one expect him to understand a wild Pokemon he never met? She squealed as she saw the Spearow come closer to her, not wanting any more of those pecks to her face. "Left! Move left! Come on!" Susumu started jumping about, unable to hold in his excitement any longer. He honestly had no idea what came over him, but it felt as if he was a kid once more. It was...nice. Mio yelped as she moved to the Spearow's right (her left), a bit surprised that the Spearow had slowed down as much as it had. Maybe she really did weaken it, she thought as her eyes widened with realization. "Flail. Try that out." Susumu recalled that other Bonsly using it against her, and it seemed appropriate. Especially since she was getting weaker with each of those Fury Attacks. The Bonsly felt some kind of energy come over her as the flails power began to kick in. It wouldn't be as powerful as a Pokemon in the red health level, but she thought it would do nice sum of damage. Gulping out of nervousness, she charged wildly at the Spearow, getting desperate to make any kind of attack on his feathered body.

The Spearow was thrown to the ground with a loud painful thud. He was on his back and his wings out, he groaned. He failed to protect them, they would be attacked now. He let out a soft moan as he fainted knowing he had failed.

Behind the fainted Spearow was a large tree. Rustling came to the air as another Spearow popped her head out. Seeing her mate fainted she covered her wing. A human was about, who knows what he wants. She hurried down carefully to her partner and looked up. She didn't seem like she was about to attack, she had a sad look in her eyes even. Very unlikely of Spearows. She then looked back up at the tree then back down. If you payed enough attention and looked up you'd notice there was a small nest with baby two baby Spearows in it, awaiting their mother and father. The female gave a pleading look to you, as if she wanted you to leave them alone.

<I-I did it. I did it I did it! I really really did it!> The Bonsly happily cheered, blissfully dancing around her trainer's legs as he watched with amusement. Having enough of that endless amount of energy, he picked her right, up, holding her close to his chest as she seemed to calm down. She kind of liked him, actually. He looked really mean, but she felt safe. "Hm...?" He noticed another group of feathers fly down to the bottom, resembling the other Spearow with the exception of a kinder attitude. Or at least mild, because she sure didn't look pleased. Just...sad. She kept looking up for some reason as she dragged her friend back, and he could only smile. "Hey, no worries. You take care of him." He nodded towards her, as if excusing himself as he walked onward. <Hey guy, why was she so sad?> Mio asked, looking up at him with a confused stare. She felt kind of bad, but she didn't know why. The most he could do was return her into her Pokeball, with only a pat on the head as he walked on.

Pokemon encounter !
The Spearow seemed to bear a thankful smile as the honorable trainer allowed her to keep her mate. Ducking her head, she cooed and sheltered the male with her wings to keep him warm in the cold weather. The Spearows gave small chirps as they saw the human walk past, feeling like they had just experienced something joyous.

----------------- Pokemon encounter ! It was quite a while before another encounter, but as surely as the sun rose and set, another appeared. A noise could suddenly be heard far off from Shamu, starting off nearly inaudible but steadily increasing in volume. Eventually, the voice came near enough for words to be discerned: <Derp. Derp. Derp. Derp. Derp. Derping is the way. Derping is the way of life~>
Eventually the source appeared - a quacking Psyduck, doing a little dance as he trudged nearer and nearer to Shamu. His ignorance of the human signalled that if they went past each other, no one would care at all. He continued chanting, blissful towards the fact that he had an audience.

"...is that a Psyduck?" Susumu stared as the Pokemon casually walked by him, having heard a strange quacking sound for a while now, and it was bothering him a bit. Enough to even cause a headache, which was ironic, because that particular species seemed to love headaches. He quickly took out his Pokedex, giving it a quick scan just to get some extra information on it. 'Psyduck. Water type. Damp. Great.' He thought as he snapped the electronic device shut, turning his head around as the Psyduck continued walking. It probably wouldn't do anything unless he engaged the thing in action. It would've been perfect training for Bo-Bo though, which he really wanted to work with. "Hey, Bo-Bo. See if you can convince it to battle." He simply pressed the button on the sphere, having no need to be fancy as the Bellsprout emerged from the sphere. She still looked a tad rattled from a battle that happened earlier, but the rest did her some good. <Oh, wow. How yellow and bright~! Excussssse me, Psyduck. May I bother you for a moment? I hope you don't mind too much.> The Bellsprout happily chased after the Psyduck, actually walking backwards as she waved her leaves in front of him to get his attention. <Would you help us out? You see, we're training. I don't know what for, but would you spar with me?> She asked, still trying to keep up with the Psyduck as she rambled.

The Psyduck simply titled his head. <Herp? Derp herp derp?> He had no clue what the Trainer wanted, instead he just flopped down on his butt and sat there. Hands on each side of his head and a titled head staring at the two. <Herping, derping, herp derp.> His vocabulary wasn't really big. He just blinked as he sat on his rum.
He yawned and stared with a blank look on his face. His mind had nothing going on in it, all it was is a dark void of nothing-ness. No thoughts, no comments. Just two simple words he knew were Herp and Derp, following by the ing part. it was for sure a funny thing, what would happen if you attacked it?

<Hey, new language barrier.> The Bellsprout exclaimed, taking a few steps back in astonishment. It was a first, to say the very least. Not being able to understand a fellow Pokemon was insane, unheard, of, amazingly weird and impossible! Only it was here, in the form of a Psyduck. "So, what's it doing? Sitting is a weird way to start a battle." Susumu walked closer to the wild Psyduck, feeling no threat from it. Curiously, he tried to give the creature a poke on the head, to see if it would do anything. Bo-Bo gave him a scolding look as he made another attempt to poke the creature, but her two leaves easily wrapped around his hand and held it down. "Hey! Hey! Hey! No fair!" He grunted, using both hands to try and pry the venus fly trap off of him. When it did work, both Pokemon and Trainer appeared annoyed at each other, but turned to glance at the Psyduck. Was it...really sane? <Oh! I know! Maybe if I try and communicate in its native language~ Herp-a-herp herp? Derrrrrrp? :D Derp a derp derp? D:> Yes. Shame for using smiley faces in a roleplay post, but it had to be done. The Bellsprout tilted her head in that exact fashion whenever she tried to 'talk' in derps, having no idea what was going to happen. { Bo-Bo } Level 9 Derp?

Trying Again?
The Psyduck's eyes suddenly widened with surprise! Did he just hear what he thought he heard? Someone was making fun of his mother! His stupid expression changed to a less stupid but more angry-looking face. He began to flap his arms wildly and jump on one foot and then the other repeatedly. He was also quacking like crazy. Apparently those combinations of "derps" was translated to "your mother is so fat that when she puts on high heels, she struck oil!" He did not find that very amusing. ::psyduck:: <"Derp derp! Derp derp derp herp! Herp, derp derp!"> shouted the Psyduck. How dare this Flower Pokemon insult his mother! His mother was the only person who ever cared about him! <Eeek! I made it mad!> The Bellsprout yelped, backing away closer to Susumu in fear, hoping that he could take care of the angry duck instead. She didn't like fighting angry things, they just made things waaaay too emotional and intense. Instead, he only pushed the Bellsprout forward, gently encouraging her to battle. "Well, you got it to fight at least. 'Kay have fun!" He suddenly laughed nervously and backed off, away from the Psyduck before it could attack him. Bo-Bo looked back at him, eyes nearly pleading him to stay near her, but he wouldn't have any of that. <Susumuuuu...> She whined, but it was pointless. The battle was about to begin, and it was partly due to her failure in languages. "Growth and Weatherball, hit it hard and strong on the first turn!" He advised, nodding towards Bo-Bo to finish the fight that she started. Sighing, she hesitantly agreed as her leaves began to glow a light green, all from the sun. Her size actually increased slightly as she gained more power. Then, a misty white colored ball gathered in her leaves, and as she held her leaves together, the sphere grew bigger. With a huff, she launched it at the Psyduck, hoping to make the first hit.

The Psyduck was still throwing a tantrum when he saw the Bellsprout actually grow in size! He immediately began to panic like crazy and ran around in circles. He saw the Bellsprout about to hurl a Weather Ball at him and he scrambled out of the way before it could strike him. He tripped and landed on his face, however.
<"Herp!! Derp derp derp!!"> he cried. He was at a complete loss for words! What was once anger was now fear! He had to focus, however, even if it hurt his little brain to do so. This was exactly like when he when to school! Whenever he tried to take tests he couldn't focus so he just took the tests and ate them. He got in trouble of course but he tried!

<...Aww, poor thing. It got scared.> The Bellsprout tsked as the Psyduck dodged the Weatherball, despite its low power at the moment. It was only going to get worse the more Growths she used, from her own experience with the move, so that wasn't something to be so fearful about at the moment. She didn't laugh or smirk when the Psyduck fell flat on his bill, though Susumu was letting out a few chuckles at the hilarious sight. Instead, she tentatively walked closer, trying again with his 'native language'. <Derp-a-derp?> She really hoped that meant something good, otherwise he was just going to get angry at her again. She would've helped him up, but he seemed fine as he wiggled his tail, confusing her. Why was he doing that...? Then out of nowhere, she was Scratched! Her! Why now?! Gaping at the sudden action, she rubbed her sore cheek, annoyed that she was caught so off-guard. "You're doing good so far. Growth and Weatherball, show it a real combination." Susumu grinned, glad there were no annoying trainers out there to bother him. He had his fill when he ran into Nova and Zane, and anymore would probably give him a headache. Bo-Bo nodded, having predicted his command a bit early and started to glow a lime green once more. Gathering energy in her two leaves, their size actually increased ever so slightly. With a determined cry, she shot out another misty colored Weatherball at the Psyduck, knowing that this wouldn't be a pleasant attack to endure at all.

The Psyduck didn't noticed the huge ball coming at him, instead he readided himself for another attack when he was hit smack dab on the head by the Weather Ball. He was flattened to the ground but mange to get back up. He waved his fist in the air. <DERP!! Seeing that angry look on the Psyduck's face made the poor Bellsprout's body jump in response as she slowly slunk backwards. It almost reminded her of the time when she had to fight against those three, mean water Pokémon. She never did get an explanation for why that happened, due to language barriers, but it always made her nervous now. The claws neared her and she found herself unable to dodge the attack, too busy thinking back on that frightening, shameful moment when she couldn't pull through for her own trainer. Letting out a pitiful whimper, she stumbled back even more, just staring at this crazed Psyduck. "Hang tough, Bo-Bo. Try Vine Whip this time." Yes, Vine Whip wouldn't be affected by her lovely Growths, but it should've been super effective against the Psyduck. A little variety in battles never exactly hurt either. The Bellspout made a faint nod before she ran at the Psyduck, still a bit worried for her sake as she lashed out with a Vine Whip attack.

Psyduck let out a quack of fear as the dark green vines lashed his face, raising angry red welts as he spat, half in fear, half in frustration at the guilty party. A fellow derper. How he had hoped that would mean a lifelong friend, but the way he had talked to him just wasn't acceptable. They were fighting words. >DERP DERP DERP!< bellowed Psyduck, flailing his arms, jumping up and kicking the air, and flicking his tail. His emotions had changed from fear to outright fury in the blink of an eye. Alls his life, he had looked for a fellow derper. Someone who would let loose unintelligible phrases that only he could understand. Meeting one had reminded him of home. Of his parents, derpers by blood, long since captured by Trainers. And just when he had hoped that something good could arise from this complicated situation, he had been insulted, and then hit in the face. The audacity was staggering, and he wouldn't have it. With a quack of fury, he launched himself at the Bellsprout, claws outstretched as he tried to slash at it. ::psyduck:: Psyduck used Tail Whip and Scratch.
