Sierra's face fell when the Paras yet again turned down her offer and began to scuttle away. But she was truly fascinated with the bug. She thought about pursuing it, but the Paras probably wouldn't appreciate that.. then again, simply leaving would probably scrap this rare opportunity. Sierra decided to go with what her childish heart told her, which was to go after the creature.
Shoving the berry into her purse, she looked towards where the Paras had scurried into the bushes. "Guys, help me follow her, but stay close," She whispered to her two pokemon that were beside her. Pascal and Seryl nodded, and Pascal used his cunning snout to determine the acrid scent of where the Paras had been standing. The water pokemon began to follow the insect. Trusting the otter's masterful sense of smell, Seryl and Sierra, holding Elvara, crept after him. Camoflauge was nothing when combatted with a good sense of smell. They were careful not to make any noise, but the occasional cracking of leaves and sticks could simply be brushed off as wild pokemon scurrying around rather than a bunch of stalkers

The Paras glanced back and noticed the gang slowly starting to follow her. She moved her legs faster and when she made it past the tree line, headed straight towards the thicket of bushes and undergrowth. Moving aside a hidden "door" (aka loose bramble) she hid for a moment, listening to see where the trainer and her pokemon were.
Glancing down at the tunnel to her cave she couldn't believe how big an asset this was to her. How many times has she escaped by this now? Well... She couldn't count very well so she just figures a lot. Crawling into the tunnel, she turned her body around and slowly started back away from the entrance. She wanted to watch the entrance to the tunnel, at least up to the first turn. That wouldn't be for quite a few more feet so for now her bug eyes were on high alert. I should watch who I talk to better. The stalkers. Now I know why my mushrooms don't like talking to trainers...

Pascal continued to follow the scent, not willing to displease his bush wars mentor. They finally came upon a bunch of thick bushes. <She went into there,> He chittered silently, <but she's continuing to move...> He sniffed around for her scent again and found it deeper inside. Sierra could see that they were in a bit of a pickle.
After consideration, she got an idea. Taking out her aron's pokeball, she allowed him to exit and appear in a flash of scarlet light. <What is it? You got food for me?> He questioned with half-closed eyes, rubbing them. Sierra smiled down at him, then knelt and whispered her commands in his ear. At first he jerked back, but as she began to speak he leaned in again. "Leitan, I need you to follow after someone," Whispered the girl, knowing the entrance was too small for the rest of them. "An orange little lady with two mushrooms on her back."
Keitan nodded slowly, understanding the command. Then, following Pascal's direction, he scrambled underneath the little door that the Paras had crept under and spoke up. <Hello? Anyone there?> He asked. Noticing that the inside was much wider than he expected, he continued down the tunnel, attempting to adjust his sight to detect anyone.
Meanwhile, outside the cave, Sierra sat down on some dry grass and fiddled with her pokedex boredly while her pokemon sat around next to her, some of them attempting to sneak peeks into the cave.

Really? REALLY?!
The Paras saw the pokemon enter speak, asking if anyone was there. Turning around, the mushroom pokemon scurried off down the tunnel. It might as well sing a song, though it wouldn't, "The stalkers are coming, the stalkers are coming!"
Having the tunnel memorized gave the bug pokemon the upper hand. It took the turns quickly and was gaining ever closer to her cave. She just hoped and prayed that the stalkers would give up already. But knowing it's luck today it didn't could on it.

Sierra continued fidgeting to herself, trusting her Aron to do as she asked. Occasionally she struck up a conversation in which she hardly understood the subject, given her human heritage, but it was still entertaining to her. Cranidos dug sometimes, finding a few roots in the ground which he offered to Sierra and Pascal. Sierra declined, getting a bit nauseous in her stomach just looking at the dirt-encrusted thing, and Pascal just chuckled and denied his offer.
Meanwhie, Keitan was carrying out Sierra's orders. She meant well, he knew: after all, she hadn't harmed nor insult him, but had given him a home - which he might eat later if he was hungry - and a name, as well. Thus, he tried his best to return her kindness. He continued to pursue the Paras, not exactly knowing why the insect was trying to run. <H-hey! Did my trainer do something weird or something? She ony wants to talk, you know. It's not like she's going to harm you.> Called the steel beast.

Scuttle scuttle
The Paras couldn't help but wonder why the pokemon was still following it. Wouldn't the overly long tunnel, the winding turns that makes one lose sense of direction, and the pitch darkness of it all be enough to deter them? Unless... Maybe it was a cave pokemon too? Dread fell upon the bug pokemon as it spurred it's legs faster.
At the other pokemon's call, it tried to think of the pokemon by the dialect. It didn't sound like a native of Route one and that only increased the dread of the thought of it being a native cave pokemon. With a blind sense of courage it called back. <If she means no harm then why doesn't she leave me alone?! Why does she follow me home? How would she feel if a human followed her home?!>
It's voice echoed off the walls of the tunnel and if was only when the floor of the cave started to get a more rocky floor to it that she realized she was getting very close to her cave home. Can the Paras cry alone in it's cave without Sierra stalking it now?Meanwhile, all around Sierra pokemon calls were being sounded. If they had direction they might have been a pretty good orchestra. Not really. That's a silly thought. What isn't a silly thought however was the rustle of the bushes near Sierra and the gang. Nope, that's not silly. That's a bit scary. Investigate?

The Aron stopped once more and called out, <Listen! Sierra might be stalking you, but it's not to scare you. It's just that you were being weird and she wanted an explanation, at the very least.. so please come back?> Called Keitan, his voice echoing throughout the small tunnel. He'd often navigated through caves to eat metal from the soil, and had a bit of experience thusly, but it was probably not as much as the Paras'. He was becoming unsure as he followed the noise of the Paras' walking.
Meanwhile, Sierra heard pokemon calls all around and listened, intrigued, to all of the odd sounds she could hear. But what was really odd was that the bush near her was rustling. Quickly she stood up and looked back at the moving bush, and her pokemon went into defensive positions - preparing for the worst, of course.
"Who's there?" Questioned Sierra, looking around for whoever might be the culprit.

As it turned out, the Aron had completely followed Paras. She was scuttling down the path when she took a wrong turn, and reached a dead end. She turned around, scared. <Well, what's in it for me?> She demanded. <Why should I c-come out?> She was stuttering, but trying to stay strong. In her opinion, she was in a dangerous situation.
The bush continued to rustle, until a Meowth came out. It looked this way and that, surveying the situation. He yawned, clearly having just woken up from a nap. The second he spotted Sierra, he tried to dart behind the bush again. But, she most likely had already seen him. Of course. He was the curious yet clumsy one of the family, which was why he always got into situations like this. He had been released plenty of times before, and he knew the deal. Catch em, see stats, release. Catch em, see stats, release.

Keitan closed in on the Paras, just barely able to see her silhouette. <Well, if you really do care about the relationship between you and your mushrooms, my trainer's a really good counselor. If she offended you in any way, she'll definitely take it back. After all, she seems to like you a lot even though you two barely know each other. I should know - you can trust me.> He explained, trying not to frighten the parasite any further. <You know, I was eating a nice meal when she caught me. But it's easy to warm up to her.> Continued the steel beast, staring at the Paras.
Sierra nearly jumped when she saw the white cat appear, then dissapear inside the bush again. "H-hey, wait!" She called. Then, remembering that her exuberant attitude must have been one of the things to frighten Paras away, she took on a more cautious approach. Kneeling down near the bush, she beckoned to the meowth in a gentler voice. "Hey, kitty kitty... I won't hurt you, don't worry." She said softly, holding out her hands to show that she was not a threat to the little feline. Elvara was resting on the ground next to Pascal and Seryl, who were looking rather bored.

Paras shook her head. <My 'shrooms say that it's a bad idea.> She was trapped, though. <If I come, canni stay in the pokeball whenever I--or my mushrooms-- want?> She smiled. <But you have to battle me first.> Most pokemon had that requirement, but she felt it needed to add that. So, she moved a little closer to the Aron, eyeing him carefully.
The Meowth heard her gentle tone. Not many trainers did that, only a few. He poked his head back out, investigating. Then a paw, and another. Soon, his whole self was in front of her, frowning. He wasn't exaclty sure if she was going to try to capture him or not, but this time he wasn't sure if she would just check his stats and release him. She seemed a bit nicer than the others.

Keitan grinned with satisfaction when the Paras finally gave his trainer a chance to capture her. <Don't worry at all; my trainer can grant what your shrooms want, no problem.> He replied, though he was a tad baffled about why the silly Paras was mentioning her mushrooms anyway. Readying himself, he took on a defensive position. However, since the insect had given him the chance he quickly changed stances and kicked up some of the moist cave dirt at her - a mudslap. He hoped this would be effective in lowering her accuracy.
Sierra smiled with joy when the Meowth dared to show his entire body. Reaching out, she dared to attempt to pet the cat-like pokemon's soft white fur. Her eyes emitting a gentle look, she continued to speak to him. "You look a little unsure of yourself.. is something wrong?" She questioned after a quick scan of his face.

Paras shook herself wildly, angered and trying to get the mud off of her. She then launched into an attack that she thought was a good counter. Out from her mushrooms came a yellow powder that could be barely seen because of the light. It went straight for Keitan. <What are you gonna do if you lose, eh?> She teased.
Meowth walked a little closer. Not many trainers did THAT either. When he saw her hand, he shot behind the bush again, only to shortly come back again, though prepared if she pulled out a pokemon or a pokeball. He didn't want to do that again. Catch, see stats, release. The dreaded cycle of him. But, sometimes trainers would rake him a bit before checking his stats so he was a little stronger. So, he flicked his tail beofre staying still for her to pet him.

Keitan thought he saw some movement around paras' mushrooms, but he didn't know what it was so he didn't worry too much. Then, abruptly, he felt his muscles becoming numb. <Nothing, because I won't.> He retorted, advancing towards the Paras with as much force as his semi-paralyzed limbs could muster. The little metal beast was aiming to tackle the Paras' side - he pretended to be coming at the insect's face, then swerved and ran diagonally toward her flank.
Sierra was puzzled at his odd fear - and his silence to her question. Didn't all Pokémon usually talk? "You can talk to me, you know. I'll listen." She murmured gently, continuing to pet the meowth and even trying to scratch the kitten behind his ears, a place where she knew most animals loved to be itched.
Seryl was looking away boredly, while Pascal watched and waited for an opening that he.. perhaps could say that's what she said. Elvara simply sat where the sun's rays broke through the trees, enjoying the sun's kindess.

Paras laughed. <Thats what you think.> She didn't know that Keitan was going to swerve, so she whined and fell backwards when he hit her. She then shook herself again, though it wasn't an attack. She charged at Keitan, aiming to SCRATCH his side. She then planned to draw back, so physical attacks could be avoided until she had more notice. ::Paras:: Paras used Scratch on Keitan!
Meowth purred as she scratched him. <Naw.> He spoke. <Nothin wrong.> He didn't want to tell her anything. For all he knew, she was just like the rest. He spotted her other pokemon, and walked away from Sierra so he could talk to them. <You seem... Bored.> That was all he said. He was just trying to make a conversation with someone other than a human to talk to. ::Meowth::

Keitan, being at so close a range, was unable to dodge the crab-like insect's coming attack. He felt the claws rake down his side, but it hardly felt like an itch to a steel and rock type Pokémon like him. Giving a growl of irritation, he advanced towards the Paras and attempted yet again to Tackle her.
Sierra smiled as her scratching successfully drew a purr out of the kitten Pokémon. As he moved away, she drew her hand back and rested it on the ground. Sitting, she sighed. Well, at least he wasn't running away madly like the paras was trying to do.
Seryl looked up as the feline Pokémon approached them. <Ah, yeah. We're just waiting for one of our own to come back from his, well.. ventures.> He said, shrugging. Pascal smiled at the approaching cat and replied as well. <Me? I'm not bored at all. I'm never bored. So what's up cool cat?> Said the buizel, giving a cool grin. Elvara stared curiously at the meowth, but figured that he wasn't talking to her anyway and so stayed silent.

Recoiling from the heavy Tackle attack from the rock eating beast, the Paras was knocked backwards into one of the walls in her little cave. Groaning, she slowly got back up to her sharp feet, which really looked more like claws. That last move had really hurt, but she still felt like she could last longer than this.
The mushrooms on her back started to ache, and her eyes widened in sudden fear. Oh dear, it was as if they were controlling her. <A-ah.> She exclaimed as they shuddered violently, releasing a toxic Poison Powder into the air. Maybe they really did have a mind of their own, for she had certainly not intended to use such an attack in here. Ah well, what's done is done.
::paras:: <C-cool cat?> The Meowth paused at the name, but quickly warmed up to it, nodding his head as if he was repeating it in his mind. <Yeah, yeah...I am a bit of a cool cat.> His eyes twinkled at the compliment, suddenly feeling like the Buizel was the most approachable of this human's team.
<I had some time on my paws, and you guys do look a little strange standing around here...so I got curious.> He grinned as if he was proud at that fact, which was in his mind, true for the Meowth stereotype that all Meowths were curious. <Why'd you leave your friend behind anyway?> He asked, feeling a sense of kindred ship with the abandoned Pokemon.

{{ooc/ Uh, they didn't leave Sierra. In fact they're like 5 feet away from her .-. so I'll pretend it asked why they left their "friends" behind to travel on Sierra's team. Cause, you know. That makes sense..?}}
Keitan scrambled backwards once he executed the Tackle attack, watching carefully for the Paras' next attack. His limbs were beginning to feel extremely numb, and he felt like his joints would buckle at any second. Suddenly the insect said something, and he smelled an acidic scent through the air toward him. The odd powder floated into his nose, causing him to sneeze, but other than that it did nothing - he'd already been paralyzed. Unfortunately for him, the paralysis came through to him and caused his little body to fall to the ground, hardly twitching as his muscles lost their control temporarily. Keitan continued to watch the insect, knowing his position was vulnerable.
::aron:: [Keitan is too paralyzed to move]
Pascal grinned happily, his humorous gaze upon the Meowth. He was beginning to warm up to the cat, despite the feline's shy demeanor. At the question the otter grinned happily. <Only cause that woman right there,> At this part he raised his clawed finger toward Sierra, <is the world's greatest Bush Wars player!> Then he thought for a moment, afterwards shrugging. <She also battles with me sometimes, and I don't mind. It's pretty fun once you get it.> He added.
Seryl thought for a moment. <Well, all Pokémon know that their friends and family could get caught. And some of us understand it's much easier to survive when we're with humans.> He explained, cynical gaze laid upon the Meowth. <Of course, it's better when your trainer's not a jerk... and Sierra isn't much of one. Although she's pretty out there sometimes.> He turned his head to look upon his trainer, who was rooting around in her bag.
Elvara looked up at the kitten and piped up, wanting to answer his question as well. <I went with Sierra 'cause she's nice.. and the sun seems to shine brighter when she's with us.> Preached the little sunkern, a smile lighting her face. <She even sang for me! A beautiful song about the sun's glory!> Squeaked the little kernel.
::cranidos:: ::buizel:: ::sunkern::
As Sierra was looking through her items, the look on her face turned from stunned to shocked. She could've sworn there weren't eight premier balls in her ball pocket before, nor a bunch of odd-looking candies next to her pokedex. Raising them to her nose she sniffed the little blue-clad sweets, but almost gagged when the strange scent reached her nostrils. The girl raised her pokedex over the candies, and the machine identified them. This new information baffled the girl. They'd make pokemon gain one level each!? Truly amazing!
Abruptly her sixth sense tingled; then, turning her head to see what was causing the disturbance, her eyes fell upon a hard, white thing. A small gasp was expelled from her throat as she realized she was looking upon a Pokemon's egg. She crawled over to it on four legs, then stared with a shocked expression for a few more moments at the little shell before picking up the seemingly abandoned egg. A green-spotted pattern adorned it, enthralling her. Hugging the little shell-clad sphere close, her motherly instinct suddenly kicked in. She could feel kicking from the inside of the egg, giving the impression that it would hatch that very day. "Well, hello there, little guy," She whispered, eyes upon the newly found egg.

The Paras stood stunned at the Aron, looking around in confusion. Had that Poison Powder actually paralyzed the thing? She never had experience with steel types, but when something was poisoned, it was supposed to be poisoned. Still confused, she decided that it was from her ability Effect Spore and decided not to question it anymore.
Thinking that she still had a chance in this battle, she scuttled forward with her spider like legs, lifting one of them up for a Scratch attack on the Aron's face. Seeing that the thing couldn't move, she figured that it would be an easy hit.
::paras::
The Meowth looked at each Pokemon with interest, sensing that each of them had good intentions when they joined their trainer. With a thoughtful rub of his chin, he had to ask the question that had been bothering him for a while.
<That kinda sounds nice of her, actually. But what if you had to fight one of your old friends? Wouldn't that be sad?> The Meowth asked with a flick of his tail, swerving back and forth expectantly for an answer. If these guys were nice enough, he might be nice enough back to give them something shiny.

Keitan indeed was too paralyzed to move, thus allowing the Paras' sharp claw to scrape across his face. He let loose a shriek, for it had actually stung a bit this time, and at that moment felt energy pulsing through his muscles once more. He was allowed to move around once again. Not willing to let go of this chance to attack Paras at close range, the Aron lunged at the scarlet insect and prepared his body for a Tackle.
Pascal laughed out loud, remembering the time not long ago he'd been wild with his 'mates. <Haha, that reminds me of one friend I have. Ziggers, I calls him. He was so pissed whenever I beat his butt at Bush Wars.> He blurted out, snickering all the while. Knowing he hadn't answered the Meowth's question yet, he continued on. <Well, considering most Pokémon out there hated me, they'd probably getta kick out of trying to hurt me.> He smirked. <And it's all fun and games to me, anyway. Second only to Bush Wars.> The buizel gave a thumbs up at this last comment, flashing a toothy grin.
Seryl rubbed his chin thoughtfully. <Well, all Pokémon understand that they have to battle when they have a trainer to defend, no?.. Besides, it's not too bad. If I meet my friend in battle, then.. well, I'll just show them I'm not one to mess with.> He gave a hint of a grin, showing his rock-hard teeth.
Elvara looked up, considering her answer. <Well, it doesn't matter much, does it?> She reasoned. <I guess they'll forgive me if I beat them...> She shrugged the way seedlings do and rested once more. The little seedling had forgotten she had no friends in the wild anyway - she'd been found just as she dropped, after all.
Sierra continued to cradle the egg until she felt it move a little. Surprised, she looked down at it and felt it quiver once more against her arms. The egg was moving. Already? Thought the grey-haired teen, excitement showing in her face regardless. She'd come across a gem in a field of thorns.
Ari's edit: Pssssst,egg's have to be incubated, now. (I also added an achievement for hatching eggs )

Tobbling backwards from the sudden Tackle attack knocked the Paras right onto her side, making it difficult for her to get back up. Her mind kept shouting at her legs to stand up nice and straight, but her muscles cried out in protest. Her mushrooms started to tingle on her back, as if willing her to go forward with her moves. Yes, wasn't this Aron paralyzed? Even if her attacks were weak against him, if she kept scratching at his face, it could be enough.
<N-not bad. I guess you really are trained.> The Paras commented as she struggled to stand up, using the wall as support. Once she felt nice and sturdy, she scuttled towards the weakened Aron with a claw extended forward; Scratch, again.
::paras::
<I guess that makes sense. I wouldn't want to fight my friends though.> The Meowth said as he licked his paw, wiping it on his face in order to cool himself off. In his fur coat, the sun was actually making him quite warm. Sometimes he enjoyed the sun, but now it was starting to bother him.
<Oh, did you know that there is a lot of shiny stuff lying around? I find them a lot.> The Meowth commented, just remembering something interesting he saw the other day. It was round, and pink, and had a marvelous sparkle to it when it hit the sun's rays. It also had a long string attached to it, which made it look really important. He had it stored around somewhere in the bushes so no one else would take it.
