Unimpressed icy irises flicked from one end of the path to the other. Glistening with fire-hued light, the horizon cast its light, exiling the shadows into what remained of the raven-black night. John – Growlithe – and Jerome – Chinchou – were asleep on her thin but strong shoulders; John’s fluffy cream tail draped over her back and warmed her shoulder blades. On her right shoulder rested her chain, which Jerome hung to thankfully since he had no claws to hang onto her body with. Blinking as she turned slowly, she thought she had heard a Pokémon in the bushes; it was not, but merely the wind swerving around her delicate body and pushing against the emerald green leaves. Sighing her draining tired feeling away, the black-dressed female pushed around the trees and came to a halt by a large oak. Apparently this was Route One, which was called... What was it, La Permiere Route?
Why did I accept to take Jerome into my care? Her thoughts made her feel miserable and she crouched and then dropped into a seated position, pressing the top of her head against the rough brown bark. Her hair ruffled and shifted, covering John with warmth, which made the small Puppy Pokémon nuzzle in closer. She didn’t understand; why had Jerome decided to accept her? Why... Had he left his untamed state and joined her, where he would possibly get hurt? Is he like John, then? Does he desire power, or was it just because he wanted to thank me for my help? But do I truly want to go around and fight other trainers... I don’t like the idea of that. Pokémon should be partners to Humans, which is why I give them nicknames, like I would give a brother or sister. So far he has settled in well, but... Her thoughts distracted her, so she didn’t notice her eyelids grow heavy until they had automatically closed. Jerking awake, she pushed herself up and began following the path again...

A little raccon-like creature was dashing around the road, running to and fro with yelps of glee. A large maple leaf swept by him and he let out a playful growl, jumping onto the leaf and pinning it down with his claws. <Heehee!>the Zigzagoon laughed with glee, releasing the leaf and watching it billow through the air before grabbing it with his teeth and tearing it into shreds. Footsteps suddenly distracted him from his toy and the little Pokemon's head raised up to see a Trainer. <Oh boy! A playmate!>Zigzagoon squealed in delight. He bounded over with tail wagging and stopped in front of the Trainer, tongue lolling out and eyes twinkling with friendliness. <Wanna play with me?>he asked childishly. Wild Zigzagoon appeared

Silver was about to have left to go deeper into the forest when a sound reached her ears; the sound of a Pokémon laughing, and a smile crossed her face. This was what Pokémon should be doing – not fighting to the death, not in risk of injury, they should just be able to have fun and live their lives. That was Silver’s goal; to protect the Pokémon in their habitats and to make sure they lived as healthily as possible. Turning to look toward the ground, she giggled and crouched down, resting one hand on the dry earth to steady herself. With her other, she reached out and stroked the Pokémon’s head gently.
“Of course I will play with you, my friend.” Soft as a feather, her voice echoed through the forest. Looking around carefully for something to use in their game, she decided to take an Oran berry off of the bushes nearby and tossed it in her hand. “Alright, how about this: I throw the berry and you have to catch it before it hits the ground. If you catch it, I’ll give you something special, and if you don’t... Well, we can try again!”
::Growlithe:: JOHN
John’s ears perked and he hopped neatly off of Silver’s shoulder and onto the ground. Curiously he padded over to the Zigzagoon and swished his tail with excitement. Sure, he missed being wild and free himself, but according to Silver, he still was. He had little restrictions and he wasn’t being ordered to do anything he didn’t want to – which, to him, made Silver the best companion of all. She was truly a perfect human. Had he been human, too... He would still have fallen in love with her, but such a relationship was unheard of. As far as it went, Silver was his guardian and he was her best friend. Shaking the thoughts away, he sat down with a smile on his face and let his tongue loll out of his mouth eagerly. Regardless of the situation, a game always made his day!
“Hey, I’ll play with you!” He yapped, pawing the earth as energy surged through his veins. “I’m John – nice to meet you!”

::Chinchou:: JEROME
Annoyance made one eye open at the sound of a newcomer; his sleep had been interrupted again. Two golden bulbs on his forehead lit up dimly, illuminating the shadows and scaring them away. Sliding down the chain that rested against Silver’s waist, he plodded over to the Zigzagoon and looked at him with what appeared to be confusion. Being from a water environment, Jerome had never seen such a land creature many times before, and that fact made him wary to be near it. However, it seemed friendly and it was morning already. He wondered how Silver had managed to stay up the entire night, though, and walk through the darkness which was only broken by the moon and stars. They were hidden through the canopy of broad leaves, which would have made it difficult to see.
“I guess I’ll play, too.” Jerome muttered, blinking the sleep from his eyes. John’s energy made him seem incredibly lazy in comparison...

Zigzagoon smiled warmly at the touch of the human, closing his eyes and nuzzling his fuzzy head against Silver's hand with a wide grin, a sound akin to a purr issuing from his throat. At the emergence of the Growlithe and Chinchou, Zigzagoon only grew more excited, jumping up and down and yapping like an untrained puppy as he saw that the Growlithe looked kinda like he did. Only orange and white. And more smooth.... And... well, he didn't look anything like Zigzagoon really. But he stood on four legs.... That counted, right? >I wanna play! I wanna play!< The thought of being given something special excited him beyond words as he once again yapped excitedly. Oh boy, oh boy would this be fun! >Ready!< he squealed delightedly, unable to contain that childish excitement as he waited for Silver to throw the berry and let the games begin. His tongue lolling out with sheer delight, this was turning out to be a great day for the little puppy/raccoon. ::zigzagoon::

Warmly smiling, her mouth parted slightly and Silver’s eyes twinkled with delight, even though they closed somewhat. Nodding to John, she took one step to the side so her side-chain was resting gently on her side, and she smoothly tossed the berry into the air. It didn’t go far, but John immediately leaped for it. Soaring with a strange sense of excitement, she turned her eyes to the Zigzagoon and rolled out another berry onto the palm of her hand. Suddenly a yelp caught her ears and she turned to see that Jerome and also made a leap for the berry, and he had been so concentrated on the prize that he had barrelled straight into John’s side. Still soaring through the air, the berry seemed to spin and laugh as the two crashed onto a bed of leaves harmlessly, but that still left the Zigzagoon to get it. No matter how fast they ran now, neither John nor Jerome would be able to catch the berry now. The two were alright though; they had landed in a soft bed of dock leaves, which was a great thing. Inhaling a smooth breath, Silver’s hands whipped up to her face and curved around her mouth to angle her voice as she shouted, “You can do it, Zigzagoon!”
JOHN
John’s ears whipped up and he also barked a quick sound of encouragement, which was in contrast to Jerome when he cursed angrily, being unable to move under the Fire type. His tiger-striped fur rippling as he pushed himself up – and, accidentally, Jerome down. He chuckled jokingly when he heard Jerome spit out the leaves from his mouth, and he reached out with a paw to help his friend up. However, his eyes were still aimed toward the berry and he anticipated how pleased the Zigzagoon would be if he managed to catch it!

Speedy pokemon zig-zagged across the snow, leaving patterns as it ran. What fun this was! It drew in a sharp breath, clean winter air filling it's lungs and making it feel more alive than ever.
Closing the distance between itself and the berry was easy enough, had it not been for a stray twig sticking out of the snow. Zigzagoon failed to notice. Head over feet it tumbled, twig causing it to lose it's balance.
It finally came to a stop in the snow, bushy brown fur looking more white than anything.

As soon as the Zigzagoon started running for the berry, Silver had reached into her bag to get something for the Wild Pokémon to eat, however such a thing was stopped as soon as she saw the two-tone Pokémon charging straight toward a branch. Surely it had seen the jutting branch!? Icy irises glowed and her eyelids widened when she realised the Zigzagoon hadn’t noticed, and by that time it was too late to call out a warning. Like the TinyRaccoon Pokémon, she rushed over with her chains clattering over her side and clashing with startled yelps.
Skidding to a halt beside the Pokémon, she leaned forward to check its breathing before she rested one hand on its side. Such an excited Pokémon... Hoping that it had not had its spirit crushed by the fall, she let out a relieved sigh and gently lifted the Pokémon up, cradling it against her stomach.
“Easy there, my friend,” she whispered softly, pulling a small blanket out from her bag and wrapping it around the Raccoon in an attempt to dry it off. Falling was one thing, but since it was so cold out, there was a chance its body temperature would be significantly lowered. If it went into shock from the impact, there was no way she would leave it alone until she was sure that it was alright. Raising it up carefully so it lay on her chest instead, she leaned against a tree and propped her legs up to support it. “You’re speed is incredible, I have to admit! You did a great job. I’m going to let you have that special prize anyway, since you did so well!” By that time, John had appeared by her side, sniffing to check if there was any blood on the Zigzagoon. Hopefully there wasn’t, but it couldn’t hurt to check. Jerome perched himself at her other side and looked up, though his eyes were still filled with frustration, there was also concern there.

When Silver put her hand around the Zigzagoon he felt a bit relieved. And he was happy to have the food anyways and he quickly and easily chomped it down before he looked happily at Silver with his big puffy eyes. >Thank you so much kind stranger< He said to Silver as he began to rub himself on her thigh and his tag began to wag back and forth. He then peered over and saw a Growlithe and instantly started to cower a bit... Sure the Growlithe wasn't being malicious and wasn't trying to scare him... But the Growlithe could not help it with it's ability. Zigzagoon began to shake uncontrollably on Silver's thigh. What would the trainer do in this situation? ::Zigzagoon:: (-1 attack) Rubbing self on Silver's leg. But terrified now after being affected by Growlithe's Intimidate

Smiling down at Zigzagoon, she cuddled up closer, gazing steadily into his eyes with warmth and a sense of love. Pokémon were Silver’s life; without them she would have died in the cold, harsh winters, alone, and probably never even been found before the fire tore through the forest. The cause of it was still unknown, but what counted was that she had given Pokémon hope, given them all homes, food and a reason to live. Lifting her fingers to rub behind the Wild Pokémon’s ear, she let her head fall forward and rubbed her cheek against the soft Pokémon’s fur. Sure, it was bristly and jagged at the tips, but it was so enchanting and beautiful!
“Please,” the female smiled, pulling out a brush and angling it to groom the snow from the Pokémon’s fur, “Call me Silver.” Truthfully she had lived her life in the forest without a name, so being called a ‘stranger’, an unnamed person; hurt her worse than being bitten by a poisonous adder. Pausing when something against her thigh began to vibrate, she noticed that the Zigzagoon was cowering – cowering from John, her partner and best friend. Naturally the loyal Pokémon wasn’t intending to scare the wild Pokémon, but his ability said otherwise. “It’s alright, my friend,” she reassured gently to the Raccoon, “John doesn’t bite or growl unless he feels there’s something that’s a threat. There’s nothing to fear.”
Suddenly she became lost in thought; her eyes became dull slightly and she gazed thoughtfully at the Zigzagoon. Such a playful Pokémon, he seemed like he would be a helpful addition to her team. “I would love to have you journey with us. You’d see so much this world has to offer...“ No! She couldn’t capture the Zigzagoon unless he wanted her to. Sure she loved the little one and wanted to play with him every day, but she had sworn not to become involved in battles. But, if there was a chance to help Pokémon using Zigzagoon’s personality... Even if it were just spreading the word of their goals, it would help them.
“Basically, Zigzagoon, I’m not the type of trainer who want to go around and fight Pokémon. My goal isn’t to become stronger so I can toss other people to the side of the road, it’s to help those Pokémon who are in trouble; be it having their homes destroyed, having sustained a wound of some sort,” she listed slowly, “or even are in danger of being killed. What you have experienced today is just one of many things I hope to do; I want to help the Wild Pokémon to survive and live their lives while they can, even if that is playing a game. I believe that you can help toward that cause, but taking you away from your home against your will... That is something that I refuse to do. I want you to decide if you want to come with me, John and Jerome. Jerome only recently joined us so we can’t really speak on his behalf, but if you do decide to come and you want something, I want you to feel comfortable in telling me. None of us here will bite you; you’ll have freedom unlike most ‘captured’ Pokémon.” Her nose wrinkled at the term ‘captured’. “I won’t confine you to a Pokéball unless you’re in danger, nor make you do something you’re not comfortable with, and if you ever decide that you don’t want to stay with us, you can always tell me and I’ll bring you straight back here, reason given or not.”
Smiling softly at Zigzagoon, she twisted the end of the blanket up and tucked it under the Raccoon Pokémon to stop the warmth from escaping. By now he was probably feeling warm, which was good. “It’s your choice.”
::Growlithe::
JOHN
As Zigzagoon's eyes locked momentarily with his, he turned his head away and broke the contact. Hating his ability for scaring the Wild Zigzagoon, John picked up a few berries from the trees, making sure they were all edible, and carried them over to the Zigzagoon for him to eat. Catching only the last part of their conversation, John realised that Silver was trying to recruit him for their aim. Perking his ears up, he waited in anticipation for what the Pokemon would say next... But he still felt bad for scaring the poor thing.

Zigzagoon continued to purr, arching his back like a cat as the hand rubbed along his fur. He enjoyed the warmth and codiality of the Trainer-or Silver he will now call. The little raccoon gazed up at the human with wide amber eyes as he listened to her request. The soft smile on his face slowly slid to a thoughtful frown. <I-I dunno. I mean, that would mean I'd have to leave home,>the little raccoon murmured, unsure of what to do. He loved these new friends he had just made and wanted to spend as much time with them. However, ever since he was a young pup, the trees of this forest were the only familiar thing to him. Imagine leaving all that and entering unknown territory and never returning. Zigzagoon slightly whimpered shuffling his paws as he tried to make up his mind. Even the berries that the Growlithe offered him didn't distract him from his thoughts. <Will..will you always play with me?> he asked tentatively, gazing up at Silver. Is unsure of what to do

Watching the movements of the Zigzagoon as it shifted almost uncomfortably. Suddenly she had noticed the size of it – it was just a pup! At that point it didn’t seem like a good idea, but where was his mother? Obviously this forest was his home, but where did he live? Giving the Raccoon a reassuring smile, she released her hold as he rose to his paws and looked into her eyes.
“If you want something, I’ll get it for you no matter what.” Promised the young 19 year old, putting the blanket so it rested over his shoulder. “And this will always be your home. I can’t take that away from you, and I wouldn’t even dream of trying. Remember that if you don’t feel comfortable travelling with us, you can always just ask to come back. Even if we’re in the middle of the sea, I’d drop everything and get you back as soon as possible, even if you don’t give me a reason to.”
Truth was everything, and Silver wasn’t the trainer who would go back on her promises. If she made a deal, she kept a deal. “I don’t expect you to join us. You’re young; you have your entire life ahead of you. Like I said, if you don’t want to do something, I don’t expect you to do it, and I won’t be upset if you don’t. What matters to me is how you feel inside and what you want to do. And, if you don’t feel comfortable talking to me about something, there’s always John and Jerome here to make sure you are feeling alright with everything.” The female paused to stroke the Zigzagoon's head before she added, "Take all the time you need to decide, young one. There's no rush."

Suddenly the crazy and hyper Zigzagoon started jumping up and down when Silver said she'd give him anything he wanted. >Pancakes! Pancakes! Do you have any pancakes!?< He said as he jumped up and down. He started to get more comfortable with the idea of joining Silver and her team, even though he was very young. At least with Silver, he'd be fed all the times. And he really wanted pancakes now. He would normally never get pancakes if he was by himself. But with an owner, he would have a good shot of getting pancakes. >Would we be able to get pancakes if I join you?< He asked still very happy and very jittery... ::Zigzagoon:: Mood: Hyper, wants pancake More willing to join you now

Silver’s eyebrow lifted when Zigzagoon bounced up and down on her stomach and a smile claimed her mouth once more. Chuckling, she said, “Pancakes?” and then nodded thoughtfully, listening to the Pup’s request. Well of course, even she liked pancakes, though she tended to have more spicy food. Suddenly an idea hit her; how about a Pokémon Picnic? That way, any Pokémon that happened to come by would get something to eat! “If you want pancakes, I’ll get you some pancakes, and if that’s what you want to eat every day, then that’s fine with me.” She said softly, running her fingers through Zigzagoon’s fur once more.
“How about we have a picnic right here?” She suggested, glancing around thoughtfully. There were plenty of berries on the trees and she did have some food of her own, though she didn’t want to use all of it in case they got stuck in the forest for a while. Even so, she did have some Pancake mixture from when she first entered town and ate a pancake... She had water – Jerome could supply that, but John knew no fire type attacks, and Silver had no pan to cook it in. Well, she could rub sticks together to make a fire – she did know how to do that, after all... Even so, there were plenty of things to eat. “Let’s grab some berries and I’ll start cooking up something for us all to eat. I think I’ve had quite enough of berries for one day, so I’ll start cooking up something special.” she purred with amusement and put the excited Zigzagoon back onto the floor.
Zigzagoon wanted pancakes and if that was what he wanted, she would do her best to make them. Looking around for something even remotely similar to a pan, she decided to send John off for some sticks and perhaps a stone that she could heat up. Sure, it wasn’t the best substitute, but if Jerome washed it for her and then put some water into it, they could pull it off.
“Okay, that’s good; now no peeking, Zigzagoon!” She called as John returned with some sticks and a stone that had probably been carved from a stream somewhere, if at all. As soon as the fire was lit – with proper precaution, of course, Silver put the Pancake mix onto the stone and let it heat up. Soon enough it had turned a nice golden colour and she carefully pried the pancake from the stone before sprinkling it with some chocolate – well, she loved chocolate, she had to – and offering it to the Zigzagoon...
OoC; Pancakes...? XD Nice! A Pancake loving Zigzagoon...

The excitable little creature wondered just what exactly was going on. But a picnic sounded exciting. He had sometimes seen humans on things they called picnics on the route... but he'd never been part of one! He gave a little squeak of excitement and shuffled around on his feet in place. He looked like he wanted to help, but the rest of the poke'mon had already gotten to work. So he awkwardly stood there, a PICKLE among cucumbers. When Silver told him to shut his eyes he did, waiting for the surprise. Something warm and fluffy assaulted his nose. And he liked it. With a wagging tail he plopped his butt down, opening his eyes to the warm fluffy scent that was drifting around him. <PANCAKES!> He exclaimed with excitement, looking up thankfully at Silver, a loving look on his face. No one had ever been so nice to him.

OoC; My brain's focused on planning. Sorry for the short post! Seeing Zigzagoon’s reaction to the Pancakes made Silver’s heart soar, and she felt insurmountable joy when the Pokémon’s eyes met with hers. Love was evident there, and she reached out to give the Raccoon the pancakes that piled in her hands. Sitting down on the earth, she lowered it so that the young pup could easily get to it and she chuckled warmly.
“Eat all you desire,” she said gently, moving her fingers inwards so the Pokémon couldn’t bite them when he tucked in. The wind picked up, making her hair blow gently in the wind, and her graceful, slender figure rocked from side to side. Seeing such a Pokemon with a gaze as warm as the sun wasn't something you saw every day, and suddenly Silver felt her heart almost reaching out to pull the Zigzagoon in. She wanted to be his guardian so much, but she kept this silent. She couldn't push the Zigzagoon to join her - he had to decide. "Are you happy, Zigzagoon?" She asked instead, her hands yearning to run her fingers through his soft fur once more. It reminded her of something else... Something that threatened to bring a tear to her eye. No, she wouldn't show weakness. That wasn't what she had been raised to do.

The Zigzagoon was very excitable and very easy to please. >Pancakes! Pancakes! Pancakes< The little dog said as he was eating all the pancakes. He was still jumping up and down, wagging his tail and moving from side to side. >I love Pancakes! Pancakes, Pancakes, Pancakes! Yum Yum Yum< He said as he continued to eat the sweet delicious food that Silver lay out for him. >You are so nice. And I do not even know your name< He said to the lady with his eyes widened and a huge grin on his face. His tail was continually wagging back and forth. He felt peaceful and felt at home. But the nagging question still remained... he would have to leave home to be with the trainer. He liked Silver and enjoyed being with her, but he also did not want to leave so abruptly without saying goodbye to his parents. >You know! We should definitely go and see my family. I want to show you my life!< He said to the girl as he turned the other way, ready to walk if she agreed... ::Zigzagoon:: Willing to show you his family [OOC: Wow fail I picked wrong pokemon picture]

Silver had risen to follow the Zigzagoon when a howl behind her made her pupils shrink and her eyes widened. Shivering as though she was cold, she heard John’s breathing hitch and she slowly turned, almost as if she were in a trance. Almost immediately, John had returned the howl (Not move), his muscles bunching as though he were going to attack, but his fur was standing up on end. Instead, she moved in front of the Zigzagoon in case it was a threatening Wild Pokémon, but... Something told her that it wasn’t. Bushes shivered tensely from the wind and, for a moment, there was silence... And then he stepped out. Ice-blue eyes were fixed onto the short white-haired male like he was a stranger. Those powerful legs, those claws... It wasn’t- No, it couldn’t be!
“How...?” She whispered, her chest pounding with fear. At first she was frozen, unable to move a muscle, in complete shock and disbelief that this person couldn’t be her childhood friend. However, as soon as a second figure stepped out – a Pokémon – appeared from behind him, John had surged forward. The expression on his face as he whispered her name was one of complete disbelief also, but before they could ask each other about it, Silver had rushed over to embrace him.
“It is you!” She gasped, holding him tightly and snuggling against his chest. Feeling his arms lift up and hold her in return, a tear escaped her eye and she almost dug her fingers into his back to keep him from pulling away. “I thought-...” ”Shhhh,” Near hushed gently, pressing a hand against her warm cheek and tilting her head up towards his own, making sure that his claws didn’t scratch her face. Their eyes locked; an energetic lightning blue on calm, stormy grey and he smiled softly. “My name is Near. I gave myself a name.” Carefully he brushed a strand of her long silver locks and he bent forward, pressing his lips against hers in a soft kiss. Hearts pulsing like crazy, they stood there with probably all eyes on them until Near pulled away and smiled. “I’ve wanted to do that for so long.” “Near,” Silver smiled weakly. “Such a meaningful name... Well, mine is Silver, and you remember Growlithe? His name is John.” “A precious metal and a brave wolf pup,” Near purred quietly. “You remember John’s friend? She’s called Luna now. Who’re your friends?” “This is Jerome, he recently joined, and this is a wild Zigzagoon.” Silver’s hand held Near’s hand and turned back toward the Zigzagoon. Beside her, Luna and John were snuggling up close, tails entwined and shoulders brushing. "I knew I would find you, so I bought this for you to use." Near suddenly reached behind him and pulled off an acoustic guitar from his back before handing it to her with a smile. "It's got your name carved into it." "Oh, Near... You always know what I like." She gazed at the instrument - her favourite one - and held onto it. "I think, Zigzagoon, we should all go and see your parents. Let's go."

Zigzagoon quickly brought you to see his parents... noticing another trainer there also. >The more the merrier< He said as he was wagging his tail and walking away. When you arrived in his house with his parents, you noticed a much larger mother and father Zigzagoon. >Hey mom! Hey dad! These are my friends. They gave me a lot of pancakes and they took good care of me! This is Silver, and this is Near, and that is Jerome, and that is John, and that is Luna.< He said in one breath. He was a very hyper Pokémon... And the pancakes with syrup seem to have kicked in. The parents though weren't as hyperactive as the Zigzagoon. They simply smiled as they greeted you. >So what have you been up? And why is the purpose here?< They asked Silver... There were about three zigzagoons in addition to this little one... ::Zigzagoon:: Mother, Father, and Brother are all here. They asked what your purpose is Little Zigzagoon is still happy and very hyperactive

Near’s eyes landed on Silver when the Zigzagoon’s parents finally came into sight. She seemed to be relaxed, not at all tense, and she seemed to be smiling sweetly as she sat down on the ground to meet the Zigzagoon family. Curious as to what was going on, Near understood the basics that she had met the Zigzagoon and given him pancakes...? Why she would do that-... No, she would do something like that. Near tended not to bother with Wild Pokémon, but Silver was the exact opposite. She tried to help out whenever she could, which often landed her in a bit of a pickle. Near crouched down, but in a different way; like a sitting Absol, his knees were pointed toward the sky, one hand fiddling with his white hair and the other was over his knee. He seemed to have perfect balance. Loose sky blue jeans accepted the stance readily and comforted him, holding him in place.
However, Silver seemed a lot more relaxed and she reached out her hand in friendship, which had several berries from the picnic before. Putting the bright blue berries in front of the Zigzagoon, she moved back to sit beside Near, and pressed her hand against his gently, twining her fingers with his. “It’s a pleasure to meet you,” she said happily, bowing her head with respect. “My name is Silver, I’m a Pokémon Trainer, but I consider myself as a Pokémon Guardian, to put it accurately. My aims are to help out Pokémon and resolve problems peacefully, as well as help them to live their lives in the ways that they want best. Now please note that I’m not forcing your son to do anything and, of course since he is so young, I want you to feel comfortable with your choice.” Explained Silver carefully, trying not to offend the small family of four. She didn’t know just how they would react, because she had heard that some families were aggressive about the life of their kin and their primary response was to attack in defiance. If that were to happen, she didn’t know what she would do, but she knew that Near would definitely defend her, since he was more inclined to fight. In fact the Absol Pokémorph thought of battling as one big game; if you lost, you’re a loser.
“Your son has a personality that I believe would be a great asset to me on my journey, and I would like to ask you that you consider allowing him to join my group to travel and help other Pokémon. I’ll let him see you all whenever he wishes and if he wants to return, I’ll bring him back as soon as I can. As I said, I’m not going to force him to do anything he doesn’t want to, so if overall he doesn’t want to go, I’m not going to whip out a Pokéball and take him by force. Your opinions matter, so please tell me what you think.” ::Houndour:: Luna’s black ears twitched and she rested her head against John’s shoulder, inhaling his scent and closing her eyes. So much had happened in little time, it had worn her out, but she didn’t want to split up with John just yet. Ebony paws crossed and her dark claws flexed as she stretched her limbs. Simply listening to Silver as she spoke, Luna lifted her head and looked toward the Zigzagoon family with grey eyes. “I can tell you that he will be in good paws,” Luna said sweetly, twitching her nose as the scents tingled with her scent glands. “And I’ve known Silver for a long, long time. She is a pack leader of her word.” Luna’s strange language and terms were awkward, but easy to understand most of the time. Luna’s name meant The Goddess of the Moon in Mythology, and to Science it was the alchemical name for Silver, which matched John almost perfectly. To John, she was just that.
::Growlithe::
“I agree completely,” John smiled, his eyes beaming with pride. He had a beautiful companion and he loved her dearly. “Each promise she has made to me in the moons we have known each other, she has kept. And your son asked for Pancakes, which she gave to him. Silver and Near will keep him safe, I can promise you that.”
::Growlithe:: ::Houndour:: Are feeling happy, snuggling up and waiting for the reply.
::Chinchou:: Is sleeping lazily.

Is it the look in your eyes? [atrb=border,0,true] { Zigzagoon Pup + Family } Sidelines | { Older Brother} Challenges to a Battle |
<Interesting. You want to tend to our darling Ziggy?> The father asked, while the mother affectionately nuzzled her mate's fur. She wasn't sure what he was thinking about, but if it involved violence she would take extra care to prevent him from taking too much damage. The father took several steps closer to the trio of Pokemon, that all looked fairly capable, but he couldn't help but have some doubts.
<If you can't protect him, my mind won't be at rest. Tell you what. If you can win against my oldest son, I'll give you my blessing.> He nodded, pleased with his choice. The brother looked surprised at the announcement, but eagerly wagged his tail at the preposition.
<I'm not as good as my dad, but I'm still better than that twerp.> His face was beaming as he winked at his little bro. <You can come at me, two against one. Three might be too much, though.> He admitted, but kept his happy face.
