As his pokemon flew through the air, Zac watched expectantly, still frozen in the position in which he had released Sleep from. Breathing heavily, his back throbbing, Zac half expected his pokemon to miss its mark entirely, and end up just smashing into the ground rather embarrassingly. To his surprise however, the move actually worked. Whoa, I knew adding in an extra super would make it stronger...but... Slowly straightening his gaze focused on the knocked out spearow. They had won! He couldn't remember why they had been fighting, something about trees or something. Still though it had been fun! This definitely was going to be a lot cooler than he'd expected. Hmmm what now though? Oh, yeah...he was a trainer now wasn't he? Retrieving the pokeball he'd tried to catch the pokemon with earlier, Zac prepared to capture the pokemon ----- <oh dear...> As his scratch attack hit home, Sleep's trajectory changed somewhat, and he began to tumble. From the moment he'd been flung, Sleep knew he was going to crash. Whether it was into the spearow, a tree, the ground, it was inevitable. He had no idea how to land on his feet from such a move, though he had a feeling he'd better learn how sooner or later. His thoughts were short lived though as he landed in a most spectacular fashion, a face plant. Grinding his face across the ground, sleep eventually came to a stop, the rest of his body flopping to the ground. With a grunt the slakoth rose to its feet, feeling very weak now. As he turned, and slowly limped towards his insane trainer, he watched the pokeball whiz from Zac's hands, and strike the spearow. With a sigh of relief sleep collapsed to the ground, falling asleep. ----- As the ball left his fingers, Zac already was turning towards Sleep, fumbling through his pack to retrieve a potion. He was personally hurting pretty bad, and that was just from one peck! So he could just imagine how much his pokemon needed some recovery. Concern swept through him as Sleepyhead collapsed, though as he heard the snores he smiled slightly. Stupid thing... he mumbled, trying not to smile in relief as he applied the potion. With that out of the way, Zac turned, curious to see if his attempt at capturing the spearow had been successful. ::pokeball:: removed

As the light enveloped her and sucked her into the confines of the red and white pokéball, the Spearow struggled only for a moment. She was so very tired after that battle and her beak was sore from where she had hit the tree earlier. Whilst not the most ideal of situations, at least she could rest without being distracted inside this little capsule.
She would miss her tree, of course. After all, she had fought so hard to keep that stupid ... what had the Trainer called it; 'Sleep' off the darn thing. Oh well. She would take a leaf out of the Slakoth's book and fall asleep.
The capsule stopped moving completely, a resonant ping signifying the attempt was successful.

Ching.
Smiling to himself, Zac retrieved the now motionless pokeball, looking at it with satisfaction. The bird would make a good co-pilot, even if it had a big mouth...a pointy one too. "Your name is Sharpie!" he declared, patting the top of the pokeball affectately, before storing it on his belt.
"Guess you need to rest too....heh, hope I don't encounter any more pokemon with you two both so tired!" he said with a laugh, doubting he'd see anything else any time soon. They had just been unlucky to stumble into Sharpie!
Returning sleep as well, we he had promised him a good sleep, Zac slowly continued on his way, deciding to walk along the tree line, safe from the suns rays that were baking the path itself.

It was funny how Pokémon mimicked human habits from time to time, thinking that either it looked 'cool', or they were missing out on something great. One particular Ledyba had done quite a bit of copying, as she flew around with a Burger King wrapper in her front pair of legs. How long ago had it been since she started consuming such fast meals? Three weeks? All she had done too was follow a trainer to the city, and was greeted by the plentiful aromas of food.
Now fully on a diet of burgers and french fries, the Ledyba struggled to keep afloat in the sky because of her bulging belly. It was like an anchor was kept in the depths of her stomach, slowly dragging her down to the ground. Her breathing became heavy, and it looked like the plump bug's eyes were about to pop out of their sockets.
<...oof. When did flying become so hard?> She panted out, suddenly collapsing in the middle of the path. She was alright, honestly, but was in desperate need of a breather. She rolled onto her belly to try and keep the stomach cramps down. ouch.

Trekking through the area wasn't easy, and it was quickly becoming pretty unfun. He had gone to that tree and had he gotten any rest? No. He had been award with a new pokemon sure, but he also was not aching all over and had a bloody back...definitely not the rest he'd anticipated.
Still tired, the young man slowly dragged himself forwards, not even bothering with his airplane effects. For now he was grounded...but man could he use a nap!
Letting out a loud yawn, his eyes hardly open, Zac stumbled back onto the path. Several moments later his eyes caught sight of the large plump thing laying on the path, a sigh relief slipping from his lips.
Great a pillow! Just what the chansey ordered... he thought, stretching once before diving forward, planning to land on the 'pillow'.

Sensing a disturbance in the air around it, the Ledyba gently listed her head off the ground, still feeling a bit of pain in her stomach from the mere motion. There was a shadow falling upon her, and it wasn't from the trees. It was moving a lot faster, and from what it looked like, it was about to descend on her. Gasping, the Ledyba tried to inch away from the sleepy human, but in the end, ended up trapped under his head.
A pillow. Of all things. She grunted to try to get his attention, but she doubted that that was loud enough to wake anybody. She was so embarrassed that she ducked her head so the flying birds overhead wouldn't see her. What an awful thing that would have been, being seen by a predator in this awkward situation.
<Ok human. You really need to GET. OFF.> She screeched, using a high pitched Supersonic on his ears to try and get the job done. It wasn't likely that it would actually confuse a human, but it would be loud enough to wake up a Slaking.

The pillow was pretty comfy, which was a good thing since he could really use some shut eye right about now. Sure it was on the middle of the path and kind of hot, but it was a pretty safe bet no wild Pokémon were going to stumble on him in the middle of the path! Haha, this really was his lucky day.
Within moments he was asleep, snoring softly Zac was just getting into a really cool dream, in which he captured moltres and it was teaching him how to fly, when a really loud, really annoying noise filled his ears.
Instinct took over at that point, his hand immediately reaching out and groping for his alarm clock. Unfortunately for the ledyba, the first thing he found was its head. Even as he was coming fulling awake, his arm swung down to smack 'the alarm clock' and moments later he sat up right eyes mere slits.
"Erugh...what time is it..." the trainer murmured, rubbing his eyes as he looked around, confident he'd been asleep for hours, maybe even days. To his surprise though things looked exactly like they did when he went to sleep...he wasn't even that hungry.
As he went to go back to sleep, Zac turned to pound a few times on that pillow and get it nice and fluffy, seeing the ledyba instead.
"EHHHHHHHH~!?!" crawling backwards away from the ledyba he stared at it wide eyed.
"Where'd you come from!?!" he exclaimed, pointing at the ledyba still inl shock at this magic trick.

Ledyba was unable to dodge the cruel hand slapping down towards it, and took the whap screeching in a high pitched voice of terror. The swinging smack hit the bug's face dead on, and would've caused the bug a nose-bleed.. well, if she had a nose. However, what came with the horrible slap was sweet relief as the human removed his head from her abdomen. The insect quickly rolled out of the way in case the silly trainer would fall back down again.
However, as she was doing so, the boy turned around and saw her. He screamed, and so did she - in fright, of course. At his inquiry, she humphed and placed her arms on her hips. <Don't you even ask me that, foo'! No human ever used the likes a' ME as a pillow AND betchslapped them too without a kick in the hiney!> Squeaked the insect.
Then, swiftly, the Ledyba took flight - the best she could with all that excess on her - and flew straight at Zac's face for a Tackle.

Horror was what covered Zac's face as he watched the creature, revealing itself not to be his pillow, began to not only speak, but grew multiple arms and legs. It was a pretty creepy experience, and one that reminded him greatly of a movie he'd seen, the exorcist. Sure in that a a person had been possessed, but hey, who said a pillow couldn't be possessed? As the demonic pillow raged at him for using it, Zac couldn't help but wonder what a demonic pillow was doing in the middle of the route. Maybe someone had thrown it away as they were running in horror, or maybe some divine being had placed it there because only Zac and his legendary group of pokemon could stop it! Feeling the scratches on the ball, he knew it was Sharpie's. Well he'd promised Sleep a rest, so time to test his new co-pilot out! "AHHH SHARPIE QUICK DEMONS AND PILLOWS AND AND AND YOUR TREE! THAT THING WANTS TO CUT DOWN YOUR TREE!" he screamed, pointing at the ledyba, before quickly tucking and rolling off the path and into the wild grass to one side. <What are you talking about? We're not even near my tree! I--- oh, that looks tasty...> if the spearow could have licked her lips, if she'd even had lips for that matter, she most certainly would be licking them now, leering at that nice, big, plump, juicy bug pokemon. Though she was still aching from the earlier battle, this bug didn't look like it would be much of a challenge. <Don't worry boss...> she murmured, extending her wings and taking to the air, <I'll take care of this in no time!> Surging forwards, the spearow furiously flapped its wings, aiming a peck at the bugs body. ::spearow::

Ledyba gave a squeak of terror as the Spearow appeared in front of her, attempting to fly backwards at the sight. However, her fat was too heavy to fly against and she continued to descend toward the fowl.
Leer caused her to become deathly frightened, the fearful appearance of the Spearow not helping at all in the situation. Shrieking with fear, the ladybug had no time to yield and was plunged into by Sharpie's sharp beak. It punctured her belly but barely went deep into the endless barrel of fat there. However, it was deep enough so that, paired with gravity, the Ledyba was unable to fly off of the bird's beak. Seeing no other choice the bug simply attempted a Tackle at the sparrow, lunging at the bird's face at close range.

Who ever heard of a bug covered in fat? The thought raced through Sharpie's mind as she tried to pull free, taloned feet pushing against the fat folds of the ledyba to little avail, wings pumping furiously. Her efforts of course were in vain, and within moments she was smashed into the ground, growling furiously at the bug. It would pay for that! Though she was pinned beneath the large bug, her beak was free, or at least free enough to peck at the bug again. <Get off me you big termite!> ::spearow::

[[Make sure that you update your pc so everyone can see the levels of your Pokémon on hand. ^^ Thanks! ]]
Upon hearing the menacing growl emitting from the Spearow's beak, the Ledyba instantly felt a sense of impending doom as she slowly backed off. It was as if fear itself had lowered her attacking power, and that Leer sure hadn't done her any good from earlier.
Yowling in pain as the Peck successfully struck the Spearow's side, the Ledyba tried to block the Spearow from pecking her even more by pushing Sharpie's face away from her each time she tried to land a blow. That didn't do much though, since most of her arms had fat instead of muscles.
<T-that's it, twiglegs. I'll show you that I'm just big boned!> She cried as she flew up about two inches into the air, with all of her weight keeping her down. She normally could go up very high, but for some reason, she lacked the energy. Grunting in annoyance, she shot out annoying vibrations of a Supersonic with the help of her shiny red wings.

(Oh whoops, sorry! I was multi-tasking on a project last night and never got around to updating the TC or PC. At school now, buuut I updated it. Yay for lunch hour!) From the bushes Zac watched in horror the battle going down between his pokemon, and the demon. Sharpie was proving herself as not only a valuable co-pilot, but part time demon slayer as well! Each time she landed a blow he would nod his head furiously, and each failure was met with a hiss of disappointment and worry. If that pillow ever found its way to the city...well, he honestly had no idea what would happen but it would probably be bad. Maybe all the cities pillows would rise up and as a pillow army defeat everyone! Man, talk about an epic pillow fight. Focus Zac....focus! For a brief moment his brain obeyed him, and a brilliant plan, one that no pokemon could ever stand against began to form in his head...but the demon ruined it. Making noise like an alarm clock, Zac clenched his fist in rage. The fiend! Not only had was it hell bent on world domination, but it had woken him from his nap. "You're going down!" He screamed, leaping to his feet and glaring at the magically flying pillow. A moment later though, upon realising he was exposed to the demons wrath, Zac quickly leapt back to the ground, calling out from the safe anonymity of the bushes "You can do it Sharpie!"<Do...do what? Where am I...who am I... er...how do I breath?> confused by the supersonic, Sharpie wandered in circles before pecking herself, in the foot. ::spearow::

The Ledyba was admittedly a little nervous when she saw the human coming toward her. Tough and 'big-boned' as she was, she didn't think she'd last long if that boy jumped on her, crushing her. However, a split second before she thought she was doomed, the kid dropped back to the ground and hid in the bushes. Confused, the Ledyba thought, <He's not very bright, is he?> First of all, the boy had tried to use her as a pillow, and that was absolutely unacceptable. And second, he seemed legitimately nervous around her. How odd, people were sometimes.
Now, back to the battle.
She seemed to have been successful in confusing the Spearow, for the female bird had pecked herself this time, right in the foot. The Ledyba laughed at her opponents failure, then flew upward a few feet, until her wings refused to lift her any higher. Then, as they started to fail, she angled herself toward the bird Pokémon and dropped out of the sky, aiming for a Tackle on the bird. <Take this!> she yelled in challenge.

Oh well, this was humiliating. Breathing heavily, Spearow struggled to keep on going. Normally she would never lose to a bug Pokémon of all things, but after that battle with Sleep she was admittedly rather exhausted. Her trainer should have helped her, maybe a potion or even words of encouragement but instead all he did was hide in the bushes. Shaking her head furiously, the bird Pokémon looked up, narrowing her eyes as she watched the bug diving towards her. Though her head at the moment seemed a little more clear then earlier, her vision was still unfocused and she was having trouble figuring out precisely where the bug was. One thing sharpie did know though, was that the opponent was indeed coming for her, and that if she didn't react soon that she was going down. <No bug is beating me!> she thought to herself, leaping into the air and flying straight at the bug pokemon, preparing to engage in a peck attack. Though she didn't know it her flight was somewhat erratic, as she sought to collide with the obese bug type. Sharpie used Peck on Ledyba

Ledyba squeaked as she was thrown back, her tiny legs kicking the air as she landed on her back, her considerable weight stopping her from moving any further. She was exhausted, her stomach ached, and she hadn't even gotten her nap! She squeaked, thrashing on the ground. Oh, what was the point? She didn't even want to fight anymore. Her stomach cramps had only intensified in the last few moments, and she just wanted to rest. <I...need a break.... and some food.> she panted, before her legs stopped thrashing and her vision went dark. Ledyba has fainted! Sharpie gains a level! Capture or move on?

As the two pokemon collided Sharpie was confident in her abilities. She could feel her peak tear into the squishy bug, its body shutter in pain. As it began to fall though, its weight pushed down on her, and though she tried to resist, her exhausted body simply didn't have the strength left to fight back. Falling with the Ledyba, both pokemon struck the ground hard, and both were unconscious. Yes! I knew I was destined to stop the demon pillow... Zac thought to himself, creeping out of the bushes and lightly nudging the ledyba with one foot, relieved to see it didn't instantly bite his leg off and fill him with some sort of deadly toxin that would turn him into a living plushie. "Hmm what to do? Sharpie was a warrior of light and justice, but she's out of it now. Who will protect me from this demonic pillow? Can I really leave it here? Oh this is complicated~!" groaned the young trainer, clutching his head in both hands. A moment later a pokeball was in hand, and with a flash of light a drowsy Sleep appeared. Though not pleased with the fact he had been woken up, in all honesty he wasn't really surprised. Besides, considering some random pokemon was lying around unconcious, it looked like he hadn't been called on after all. "Sleep! Perfect timing! Ok so there's this demonic pillow and it was all RAWR and I was like OH NO! and it attacked me and it was scary and pillow armies! Yeah it wants to take over the world so I had to save the universe and called sharpie and and and ---" gasping for breath Zacariah fell over, trying to calm down. The fate of the world was at stake though! He couldn't just sit there calmly. <Show you...Truth.> was Sleep's reply, as he pawed at Zac's pokedex. Though his trainer was skeptical, he dutifully obeyed his pokemon, pulling out the device and pointing it at the object of dark magic. Ledyba the five star pokemon It is very timid. It will be afraid to move if it is alone. But it will be active if it is in a group. When the weather turns cold, lots of Ledyba gather from everywhere to cluster and keep each other warm. "So it's...a pokemon? Hmm...a demon pokemon! Amazing. This thing even says they gather in cold places! Aha! You know what this means don't you Sleep? This thing was heading towards the mountains! That's the gathering place of these creatures sleep!"Pacing back and forth now, the trainer considered his options. He definitely couldn't let this thing go. If it found its own kind it would no doubt reveal his existence! If he let sharpie eat it though it could taint the pokemon, which had proved invaluable to his team. The only reasonable option was to take it with him. That way he'd have proof to show the others! Yes, they could interrogate the creature, gather an army and take the fight to the pillows! Brilliant, and it'd give him time to get stronger too. "Demon Pillow you are mine!" he declared, chucking a pokeball at the fainted ledyba, oblivious to the sigh and sweat drop of his slakoth. ::spearow:: Sharpie Fainted! ::pokeball:: removed

Even if she had wanted to, the poor Ledyba couldn't have broken out of her Pokeball prison. The ball rocked a little feebly as she made an attempt, but it didn't work out very well, and so the exhausted ladybug gave up and let the ping signify her capture. As long as he didn't try to use her for a pillow, or that damn bird didn't try to eat her, she figured that it was alright.
Besides, maybe the trainer had food? Food would be good right about now... And so, the bug Pokémon fell unconscious once more with hopeful daydreams about berries and other Pokémon snacks, just as the Pokeball fell silent.

"Phew! That was intense! Sorry Sleep but I think i'm going to have to use you if anymore things appear. Sharpie definitely isn't in any condition to fight right now, and I don't want to use that weird thing if I can help it."
Returning Sleep to its pokeball, and retrieving the one the pokemon he decided to call Demon was in, Zac continued on down the path. Though he wanted to keep exploring he knew he had to hurry his way along the route, as it seemed his pokemon weren't yet ready, even for a place as basic as this one.

::rattata:: A lovely blue-furred feline stepped carefully through the bushes, eyes and ears alert for any signs of prey in the vicinity. Graceful limbs, fit from years of hunting, rippled as he moved almost soundlessly between the trees. A slight whiff in the air alerted her to a Rattata - common prey, but it would do.
Steadily he crept nearer toward his newfound target, until one of his paws crunched on a fallen tree branch. The Rattata looked up, saw the blue furred creature, and then launched his entire body away to escape possible death at his paws. Enraged, the cat followed after him with a leap of his own.
The rat, followed closely by the cat, crossed the road in front of Zac - both sprinting at a blurring speed.
