"C-c-c-cat!" the word came out unusually high pitched, even for Zac as he stared in horror at the glameow and rattata racing across the path. If it had just been the rattata he would have gone after it in an instant, but Zac had a deep dark super secret fear of cats in general.
He never really understood why that was was the case. Maybe it was the way they looked, their infectious bites, claws, cold attitudes, or the fact he'd once tried to eat a meowth raw with, well, disastrous results. Regardless of the reason seeing one in front of him now, especially such a sleek confident looking one, caused the weary trainer to do the only thing he could do; run in the opposite direction at the cat and mouse were going.
Arms flailing above his head, a loud scream ripping through the air, Zac abandon the path entirely, simply heading in the direction the two pokemon had come from. After all, if the cat went one way and he went another, he was going to be perfectly safe, right?

The direction Zac ran in coincided with where Ryuuku had gone to sulk. His trainer had just taken two Pokémon out of his PC and brought them out into the woods. One of them, at least. Moon and Flare, Blaze's Umbreon and Flareon, had been let out of their pokeball so of course Ryuuku wasn't getting the attention he wanted. The black Charizard had stalked off, even more annoyed that his trainer had not come to find him yet. The Pokémon had taken to curling into a ball at the base of a tree, determined not to go to his trainer even if he was being called. He certainly did not realize that other trainers on the route might notice him, such as the weird boy, flailing and screaming as he approached.
A bit further off, Blaze was petting his two Pokémon. He had decided to finally retrieved a few more Pokémon from his PC box. Flare had gotten wonderfully with Moon, and if he didn't know better, the male was interested in the younger female. He knew that Ryuuku had wandered off, but the Charizard had to know that he wasn't the only Pokémon in his team, and Blaze needed to spend some time with his others as well.

For a while longer Zac booked it through the grass, evading bushes and fallen tree branches, and even jumping a few randomly placed rocks. Had he not been scared out of his wits, he'd have been thoroughly impressed with himself, and probably imagined himself as some olympic athlete racing his way towards the finish line and a gatrillion pokedollars. However, as time passed and no ferocious cat appeared behind him growling and snarling and eager to rip him to pieces, Zac slowly calmed down. He had miraculously escaped the blood thirsty killer it seemed! "Hahaha! Once again master aviator Zacariah has defeated the forces of evil!" he exclaimed jumping up and down for a moment, before realizing he was missin something vital. With a final jump as high as he could, Zac landed in a crouch, rolling once through the tall grass before landing on his hands and knees, a pokeball in hand. in a flash of light Sleep appeared, once more atop his head, in what was clearly the pokemon's rightful place. With his aviators hat on once more, Zac continued to crawl forward, waiting for the end of this clump of grass, since after all no plane could take off in anything other then a clearing; well, unless it could hover! As clear daylight emerged in front of him, zac leapt up, arms spreading out, as he began to run forwards-- towards a freaking dragon. As his eyes fixed on the large creature he froze mid step, arms extended, one leg frimly planted on the ground, the other extended out behind him. Sweat poured down his face as he stared at the big thing, wondering what on earth was going on. Dragons...they didn't exist right? That would mean kings and knights and wizards were real! Then again he just had found a pillow possessed by a demon...so was that really so far fetched? Hmm maybe not. Sleep certainly didn't seem bothered by the large black dragon thing though, even if he probably was fast asleep. "Pokedex...pokedex...pokedex..." the young trainer whispered, slowly retrieving the object and pointing it at the curled up thing, which definitely was in a pretty stereotypical pose for a resting dragon. "ChArIzArD tHe FlAmE pOkéMoN ChArIzArD fLiEs ArOuNd ThE sKy In SeArCh Of PoWeRfUl OpPoNeNtS. It BrEaThEs FiRe Of SuCh GrEaT hEaT tHaT iT mElTs AnYtHiNg. Zac could feel his rage building as he listened to his pokedex. He wasn't sure what he'd done to it, maybe repeatedly falling on it when fighting the demon pillow, and even Sharpie hadn't been a good idea, regardless it seemed to be speaking very loudly and screeching slightly. As its words sunk in though, that rage was quickly replaced by excitement. 4600 feet! Wow that was, well, high. The fact it didn't appearently attack weaker things seemed pretty lucky too. Obviously it would just sit there and let him beat it up! Smirking to himself Zac rushed forwards, making his airplane noises as he circled the charizard on laying on the ground. He had a hat, a copilot, a nice pillow for his back on long flights, and now hopefully he'd get himself a plane! "Heeeeeeey! Hey black charizard! Yeah! I don't know why you're black, maybe you burned yourself? Uh...but yeah, you're going to join me and be my new plane ok!" he called out, as he continued to circle, confident he was in absolute control of the situation. (Wow random loooong post! xD And I will never type a pokedex reading like that again. @_@; )

The Charizard cringed at the sound of the pokedex. What... what was wrong with that device? Did it always sound that way? The Pokémon definitely did not remember this. Maybe he was deaf as a charmander?
His annoyance was changed to confusion as the trainer started to make weird noises and just... fly around him. What was the boy trying to do? The flying dragon watched the boy go round and round and round, asking him to be his... plane? Ryuuku watched the trainer for a bit longer, before lowering his wings in a way that exposed his backside, inviting the boy on board. If Blaze was allowed to fraternize with those other pokemon, he was allowed to be with other trainers for a while, wasn't he?
The trainer has definitely heard the sound of the loud, screeching pokedex. Heck, the whole forest did, if the birds flying away in fear were any indication. The trainer looked down at his two foxes, both cringing at the sound. This wasn't good. It seemed another trainer had found his Charizard. He wasn't sure what the Pokémon would do. Ryuuku hadn't left happy, and Blaze wouldn't put it past the fire lizard to just slash whoever had unleashed the definitely broken pokedex.
"Come on," he told his Pokémon. "Let's go and find our little sourpuss. Just be sure to stay away of his line of fire." Blaze led the Pokémon toward the sound of the pokedex that had thankfully stopped its infernal noise. He just hoped that Ryuuku wasn't doing anything too stupid. Just how far did he run off to?

Zac was honestly rather stunned when the giant fire breathing dragon agreed to let him ride it. Zac wasn't sure if this was normal for most trainers, or even some kind of prank. What he did know though was that this was the most freaking epic thing he could possibly imagine.
"Ace pilot Zacariah Initiating Super Ultimate Dragon Fusionnn~!" he cried, as he ran up the dragon pokemon's tail making random robotic sounding noises he figured two things fusing together would make.
As he approached the neck of the pokemon though, he realised it was rather long. Was he supposed to grab it? Sit on its shoulders? Hmm...he never had thought he'd need dragon riding lessons before, this was awkward.
It was at that moment he noticed those two long, thick, glorious horns jutting from the flying lizard's head, and he knew what he had to do. Even if he slid down its neck, even if he fell off, Zacariah just knew that those would be the perfect handles / joysticks for flying a dragon.
"Huzzah~!" he cried, leaping up onto the dragon's neck, legs wrapping around its neck as he grasped a horn in each hand, realising this was really uncomfortable.
"Hmm...Sleep, quick get my rope!" he declared, feeling the sloth pokemon make its way down his back, and retrieving the rope from his small bag. Moments later Demon was released, quickly being lashed down as the perfect seat/pillow. With Demon thrashing and cursing underneath him, and Sleep clinging to his head for dear life, Zac was ready to fly.

Ryuuku let out an annoyed grunt. This boy really didn't know how to be gentle, did he? The trainer just walked all over him with absolutely no grace. Those feet landed on the worse places and hurt quite a bit. Damn it, what had he gotten himself into? He could feel Blaze getting closer, though, just knowing that his trainer was coming to him. It might have been the bond between the two of them, the time they spent together, but Ryuuku and Blaze had a connection that was rather special.
The Charizard was having second thoughts. This... was not that good of an idea, was it? But at the same time, it was his trainer's fault for just ignoring him like this!
The Pokémon let out a choked growl when the trainer grabbed hold of his horns and quickly shook his head, trying to get him to stop. He let out another annoyed gruff and was about to just shake the stupid trainer off, but then he saw Blaze. Trainer and Pokémon met each other's eyes and Ryuuku stared back. Of course, then he spotted the two smaller Pokémon in Blaze's team and immediately felt jealousy and rage flow through his veins, making the fire at the end of his tail glow bright. Wings extended far on either sides and the Pokémon took off, Zac be damned. At least this trainer appreciates him.
Blaze had been taken aback when he found this boy sitting on his Pokémon. What was Ryuuku thinking? How could the Pokémon allow this to happen? His eyes widened further when Ryuuku readied to take off.
"Ryuuku!" he called out, but by then, the Pokémon was in the air already, rising higher and higher. Blaze never felt so empty inside, watching his beloved betray him like this.

Whose that guy and why does he has such cool looking pokemon? Zac wondered to himself, noticing 'his' new dragon glance over at the guy too, before suddenly starting to take off. Though he only could see the other trainers face clearly for an instant, he could of sworn the guy looked kind of...hurt. Though this was rather strange, a knowing smile soon crossed his face. Ha! The jerk was obviously jealous he hadn't found this awesome dragon thing first!
"Sleep we're flying!" Zac cried out in delight, swinging his head all around in excitement, even if they had only just taken off. Despite all his 'expertise', up until now he had been stuck on solid ground.
It was only as he was glancing about that he noticed the dragons tail was on fire. Damn it, the fire that had turned it black hadn't gone out yet!
"Draaaaagon! I just thought you should know you're on fire!" he called out, tugging on the charizards horns, trying to point its head towards its tail, and the obvious danger it represented. Just too bad none of my pokemon can shoot water. Then I could of put the fire out and saved us all...

Had Ryuuku not been too busy trying to hurt his trainer and make him feel jealous, he would have realized the impact and the damage his actions had caused. His trainer's face was unlike anything he would have seen before, nor would he have ever, if Zacariah hadn't pulled his horns like that.
Why did the trainer insist on holding onto him? And what kind of a stupid trainer did he allow on his back anyways? The Charizard thrashed his head around a few times, and it was then that he caught a glimpse of Blaze's face. Hurt immediately turned to fear and anger as the trainer watched his pokemon move about in the sky, unable to control his flight as he tried to make Zac let go of him. He let out another cry, this time louder, telling the trainer to stop grabbing onto him or else both of them are going to fall, and Ryuuku was going to make sure the trainer hits the ground first, and he was not on fire thank-you-very-much. He wasn't nearly as polite, though.
Blaze watched the scene unfold, his fist clenched into his palms. How dare that trainer even touch his pokemon? How could Ryuuku allow another to mount him? Had he... had he hurt the fire dragon that much? His Charizard had never done such a thing before. Maybe adding the two extra pokemon on his team had cause the fire dragon more insecurities than he had thought.
"Ryuuku, come back down here," he said with his loudest, commanding tone. His words managed to reach the Charizard's ears, but he was still too busy trying to stay aloof with the incompetent passenger he had on his back. This had to be the stupidest thing Ryuuku had ever gotten himself into.

Man, this was the greatest thing, he'd ever done! Sure the dragon didn't seem to know how to fly, as it kept thrashing around and acting like it was in pain, which considering it had apparently burned its entire body to the point of turning it black, made sense. Still, it seemed this dragon had accepted him because it needed a true pilot to teach it to fly!
"Haha...oh yes, leave it to the king of the skies..." He murmured softly, his grip on the charizards horns releasing, crossing his arms and doing his best to look wise and sage like.
"Listen Charizard," he began reaching out and patting the back of the pokemons neck, "Life is tough, flying is tough, but everything will work out for the better now! You made the right choice and soon you'll be happier then ever."
While Zac nodded approvingly to his randomly spewed attempt at wisdom, his hand slipped down near the mouth of his ledyba cushion, who wasted no time chomping down on his hand. Crying out in pain, Zac tried to spin around to punch the thing in the head, forgetting he was kinda sorta...balanced on the neck of a dragon high in the sky.
With a cry of surprise Zac could feel himself begin to fall. His arms waving as he shrieked in horror, Zac knew he was in big trouble. Even as he shut his eyes and prepared for the worst, he felt a tug on his foot. opening his eyes, Zac found himself hanging upside down. At first he thought the dragon had caught him, but as he looked up he noticed he had simply tied his one foot down with his rope when he'd died down his ledyba pillow.
I...uh, always wanted to see the world from this perspective. Its uh, good training!

Ryuuku had no intentions of listening to his trainer's command, even though every fibre in his being was telling him to. It must have been Karma to have to then listen to his boy spew out complete nonsense. Made the right choice? He'd be happier? Ryuuku was miserable right now, and his immature bitterness was the only thing stopping him from landing and nuzzling his trainer until he was forgiven.
And of course, the boy had to fall. The Pokémon had been startle by the sudden shift in weight and nearly plummeted to the ground himself when the string suddenly pulled taut. The Pokémon glanced down, seeing Zacariah being held by his foot. Lower still, Blaze was staring at him wide-eyed, fearing for his pokemon's safety. "Lunar Flare; Helping Hand," commanded the trainer. The two eevees came together and focussed their energy onto the dragon, who was finally able to stabilize his flight a bit. Ryuuku wasn't extremely happy that his trainer had given him help. He would have been able to do fine on his own.
With as much grace as he could with a human dangling down, the Pokémon finally landed. With Zacariah to the side, ignored by both trainer and Pokémon -- though Blaze would have loved to give him a piece of his mind, Ryuuku stared his trainer down.
"Ryuuku, why don't you just come back here, and we'll forget about this little episode?" asked Blaze. Unfortunately, his two other Pokémon were still out of their pokeball, sticking quite close to the fire Pokémon trainer. The charizard just could not let it go that easily. The Charizard shook his whole body in an attempt to get rid of the ledyba, still attached to his body, before giving up with a huff. "Or are you trying to tell me you'd rather stay with that poor excuse of a trainer?" Those words made the fire Pokémon rile up. How could Blaze even consider something like that!?

-BuMp- Apparently he was a better pilot then he thought. Even as he hung from the dragons neck like a dead weight, he was able to stablize and guide the dragon to safety. It really was a rather impressive thing, if he did say so himself. Rubbing his head, which had struck the ground as they landed Zac nudged Sleep, who was still hanging from his head. "How about a Scratch attack, old buddy?" he asked nicely, before abruptly falling entirely, as the sloth pokemon's claws lashed out. "Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch...." Leaping to his feet, Zac gave an enthusiastic thumbs up to the dragon, before returning his attention to his ledyba, which appeared to have fainted at some point. Returning the demonic pillow to it's ball, Zac spun about to look at this other trainer guy, the one who seemed so obsessed with the charizard, who he decided to name Mr. Crispy. "Hi i'm Zac! This is a pretty cool pokémon eh? Wanna touch it?" he enquired, even as he pulled out his pokedex, pointing it at the two pokemon with the guy. ˙ʞɔɐʇʇɐ oʇ sdɐǝן ʇı uǝɥʍ ʍoןƃ ʎpoq sʇı uo sƃuıɹ ǝɥʇ ˙ǝʌoɯ ɐ ǝʞɐɯ oʇ sǝoɟ sʇı ɹoɟ sʇıɐʍ puɐ ssǝuʞɹɐp uı ʎןʇuǝןıs sǝpıɥ ʇı ˙sǝʌɐʍ s,uooɯ ǝɥʇ oʇ ǝɹnsodxǝ ɟo ʇןnsǝɹ ɐ sɐ pǝʌןoʌǝ uoǝɹqɯn ˙uoɯǝʞod ʇɥƃıןuooɯ ǝɥʇ uoǝɹqɯn

As the two readings played out, zac couldn't help but stare blankly at his pokedex. It thankfully hadn't made a high pitched sound this time...but what exactly had it just told him? Shrugging he pocketed the strange device, fidgeting in place as he tried to figure out what to do next. Battle this guy? Ha! Like that guy would stand a chance! Not when he had Mr. Crispy on his side!

[/tt] Blaze waited for Ryuuku to come to him when the Charizard was finally freed from the loser trainer. Really, what had this person -- Zac? -- been thinking? That was his Charizard he had ridden, it was his Charizard he was touching. He did not need permission.
"He's mine," replied Blaze. He had venom in his voice. Cheyenne's history books must have gone out of date for anyone to not recognize him and his Charizard. Then again, this trainer wasn't the smartest of the bunch, and the fire trainer doubted Zac could even read anything more than sunday comics. "Please allow him to return to me."
Despite everything, Blaze couldn't just take Ryuuku back. The Pokémon was stubborn and had never spent more than an hour in that pokeball of his. And somehow, through this exchange, Zac had claimed ownership of his Pokémon. What were the rules when it involved something like this? Usually unless the pokemon's pokeball was broken, a Pokémon was tagged to their owner. Ryuuku had gotten rid of his ages ago, how could one determine his 'true' owner? "I will fight for him, if you refuse to relinquish him."
Those words made Ryuuku flush a bit. His trainer... He knew that Blaze loved him greatly, but he couldn't help but feel flattered to be wanted but his trainer so much. He was going to use this young trainer a bit longer, it seemed. Besides, it might also show Blaze just how invaluable he was of a Pokémon. Ryuuku had it all planned out already; as Blaze finds himself down to his last pokemon, he would fly in heroically and defeat whatever for stood in his trainer's way. The Charizard had a smile on his face as he thought that, the fire on his tail burning stronger.

His charizard? Zac couldn't help but laugh at the notion of this black charizard belonging to this guy! Sure Zac knew almost nothing about pokemon, or this region, but in all his random travels he had never heard of a pokemon turning on its trainer! Haha, what a ridiculous notion!
Though it really wasn't that funny, Zac doubled over and fell to the ground laughing, and even rolled around a bit for good measure. Sure his laughter was forced after the first like, 15 seconds, but it was kind of fun laughing.
After a minute and a half he stood up again, coughing into one hand before looking over at...Mr No Name, his hands on his hips.
"You're doing it wrong you know!" he began head tilting slightly to one side. "First you say 'Hi my name is -insert name here-, how are you?' Then you make idle conversation, talk about the weather then add in a 'by the way THAT POKEMON IS MINE!' and then challenge someone to a battle!" as he spoke Zac wagged a finger at the man, quite sure he was in the right here.
"Oh, and if this is your Charizard why is it standing with me and letting me fly it? Maybe you haven another charizard that just so happened to burn itself black?" he responded, even as he grabbed the sleeping Slakoth from his head.
"Go Sleep! Scratch Attack!" Zac yelled, throwing his Slakoth, who was still fast asleep, towards the rude trainers Umbreon. Sleep was having a very nice dream, about napping in a nice big tree with lots of fruit nearby. He enjoyed the dream too much to actually wake up, and so he missed his target entirely, skidding across the ground in front of the umbreon instead, still fast asleep.
Well that wasn't part of the plan...

[/tt] Blaze ignored the trainer's words. He just wanted to get this done quickly and get over it. He gave a look to his Charizard, telling him that he was only doing this for him, and Ryuuku had better appreciate it. Zac had initiated the first attack and Blaze poised himself, ready. " Moon, get ready. Flare, back off and observe," he said. " This'll teach random trainers to even consider touching Ryuuku in the future." The umbreon was ready to jump out of the way of the attack, but when the slakoth simply slept there, he hadn't been sure what to do anymore. Never before did an attacking Pokémon just... sleep like this. Blaze snorted. So the pathetic trainer had a pathetic Pokémon? Figures. Time to utilize those TMs that had cost him a fortune. This battle was going to be a walk in the park. " Moon, Dark Pulse. Finish it in one move," he commanded. The pokemon, still standing right in front of the sleeping slakoth, charged up a dark wave of energy before unleashing it, making the air around him pulse with dark energy. As the Umbreon pulsed Zac watched Slakoth just sit there and get hit by the weird surge of energy, which lifted the sleeping Pokémon from the ground and flung it backwards. Moving forward, Zac caught the now unconscious Pokémon in his arms. Sleep was one of his weaker pokemon, despite being his starter. No this wasn't over yet! "Heh, I had promised Sleep he could take a long rest earlier, so I guess he chose now to take it. You won't get so lucky next time!"Returning Sleep to his pokeball, Zac drew out the next ball. He was in all honesty scared to use this Pokémon...but if anything could stop that scary dark energy, it'd be an equally dark and scary Pokémon. "Demon I choose --ahhh!" As the Pokémon emerged from its ball, the Ledyba immediately turned on its trainer, tackling him hard in the gut. Thrashing wildly Zac tried to fight off the enraged bug type. <You...will NEVER sit on me again!> the Pokémon shrieked over and over, pummeling the trainer with its fists. "Ok ok! Attack that Pokémon and win and I'll get you a burger and never sit on you again!" Zac cried out, blood gushing from his nose as he waved the pokemons burger king wrapper like a white flag of surrender. Though still fuming the bug type turned at glanced at the umbreon, before back at its trainer suspiciously. Eh, well, it was getting pretty hungry. Facing the Umbreon entirely, the Ledyba known as Demon opened its mouth, sending out a high pitched shriek at the imposing Pokémon. Demon(lvl 8) used Supersonic on Moon!

[/tt] Too easy, this was. Blaze just continued to put on his best glare as he continued to rip through this trainer's pokemon. What did he expect? He was on route one. This was where the losers started out. His internal voice mocked him, telling him that he too had been a loser on this route at one point. But then again, he always had Ryuuku by his side. This guy had a pathetic slakoth and a ledyba. What other useless pokemon did he have? The former slept half the time and this bug pokemon didn't seem to even remotely like the trainer. At least it was attacking, though. The noise was barely audible to Blaze's ears but all the pokemon around cringed a bit. Blaze watched Moon for any sign of confusion. He seemed a bit dizzy, but not quite confused. The umbreon shook its head to stop the ringing in his ears before he readied for the counterattack. " Again, Dark Pulse. Finish it off." The command was clear and the umbreon executed it with perfect precision, quickly charging up the attack before unleashing it toward the flying insect. Sitting up Zac noticed his demonic pillow was making some sort of noise. Thinking back it had used that on him before too hadn't it? Oh! It has a built in alarm clock! That's cool.As his Ledyba's attack ended, Zac watched the other trainer. He seemed so confident, and intently seemed to watch his pokemon. He certainly appeared a lot more structured in his training style...but where was the fun in that? As the dark pulse raced towards his Ledyba, Zac smiled in satisfaction as the bug type began to rise up into the sky. Ha! Pretty hard to hit something if it was above your attack! Though he was above the range of the attack, Demon could feel himself getting tired. Slowly, his bulk dragged him downwards, until his bulging belly was in the line of fire. A moment later the attack struck, sending the bug type spinning. As it struck the ground its fat cushioned the blow, and slowly it climbed to its feet. For just an instant it looked as though it was about to attack again, before with a wheeze it collapsed, unable to keep going. ::ledyba:: Demon has fainted! Zac felt like he was kicked in the stomach as he watched his next pokemon fall. This wasn't how he'd expected his first trainer battle to go! Returning Demon he quickly returned the ball to his belt, before retrieving his last pokeball. Gazing down at it he thought about the pokemon inside. It was the first he'd ever caught, and it had been the one that had defeated that creepy demonic pillow. If anything could stop this trainer's pokemon it had to be this one. "Time to end this Sharpie! Start off with a Leer!"He would be careful this time, and if that pokemon tried using that move again, thanks to Demon he knew how to dodge it. Though his confidence was a little shaken, he climbed to his feet, fists clenched. Yeah, this time things were going to be different! ::spearow:: Sharpie(lvl 7) used Leer on Moon!

[/tt] The longer the battle went, the stronger Moon became, and Blaze was just fine with that. Flare was watching the whole thing in awe. Was the umbreon that strong? It was almost surreal, the sleek black Pokémon sending shockwave after shockwave of dark energy, simply destroying the Pokémon in front of him.
"Moon, return," Blaze called out when he realized that the trainer still had a Pokémon left. "Let's let Flare try a hand at this." The umbreon returned to Blaze's side and nudged Flare forward until the fire Pokémon was now in the fray. She was a bit nervous, not sure how exactly this was going to work. The bird Pokémon that came out of the pokeball looked rather mean, but if Moon was able to do it, she was too, right? The leer attack, however, made her even more insecure. That Pokémon definitely looked strong.
"Flare, use ember on the pokemon, wide ranged," said Blaze. His voice was a lot softer and kinder as he addressed the nervous Flareon. Opening her maw, she produced a couple of balls of fire before shooting it at the Spearow, hoping for the best.

(ooc: er...i'll assume that last level went to Demon not Sleep. xD Even if Sleep could use the level. ) Zac bit his lip as he noticed the trainer changing Pokémon. He had only just figured out how to block that move and now the other Pokémon was jumping into the fray? Shifting his weight from foot to foot, his fists clenched, Zac watched the balls of fire race outwards. The attack was pretty intimidating, but it wasn't that different from that pulse was it? Just in clumps instead of a solid wave. "Sharpie Dive under them!" he called out, watching the bird Pokémon swoop downwards, narrowly missing one of the fire balls. Ha, he might not know a lot about pokemon, but having lived in the circus he'd seen his share of human canonballs. Something shot upwards wasn't going to just suddenly drop down. Yeah he could beat this thing for sure! "Peck!" he cried, watching as his spearow leveled out, flying low to the ground. With narrowed eyes the bird Pokémon raced towards the fire type, sharp hooked beak gleaming in the sunlight. Sharpie used Peck on Flare!

[/tt] Flare watched in horror as her attack did not work the same way Moon's did. Wasn't it supposed to be easy? One attack to finish it off? Now, the flying Pokémon was approaching her rather quickly, its beak a lot larger than it should be. " Focus, Calm down," said Blaze, watching his Pokémon freeze on the spot. Maybe this hadn't been such a good idea. " Bite when it gets close, and don't let go of it when you do." The Flareon was still shaky, but then Moon gave her a little < You can do it,> and it made her feel more confident. She steeled herself and took the attack, but immediately made a move to sink her teeth into the flesh of the spearow. She was going to show them that she wasn't just a useless trophy pokemon. Moon would be proud of her. Flare | F | 20 Flare was hit by Peck Flare used Bite[/blockquote]
