Before Arrow could get an attack in on the male Weedle it had already darted away from the battle scene. Annoyed at the bugs cowardice, the young trainers Pidgey flew back towards his trainer in order to await another command.
Gale too was pretty annoyed by the fact that the Weedle fled but the battle was still on. At the moment the 3 remaining worm Pokémon were busy dealing with Nick's Spheal and Raff's Pidgey, Aella. "Time to get in a sneak attack Arrow," Gale said to his Pidgey. "Use tackle on the other Weedle , it looks pretty busy with Nick's Spheal,"
Arrow rose off of Gale's shoulder and looked directly at the other Weedle. It was about to attack Spheal, so in a hurry Arrow flew straight towards it hoping knock the little bug out.

One bug had fled. Another was frozen. That left two. One was busy with the Spheal. That left the other which was attacking Aella. The string shot tangled around her, sticking to her feathers and inhibiting her movements slightly. She was forced to work doubly hard flapping her wings to keep up in the air. She was yanked towards the Wurmple, a brutal tackle hitting her in the chest. With a huff she tried to gain some more altitude, rising slightly above the Wurmple, before she twisted her body around- aiming a tackle straight down at the Wurmple, trying to slam the female into the ground.

The chaotic scene just continued all around them. A triple battle was a rare sight in a place like this. One might see the occasional double battle, but that was usually the most number of Pokémon in a single battle one would see. But not in this case. All of the action was hard for the Frozen Sammy to follow. Especially since she was stuck in that position and there was so much movement going on around her at once. But what she had to deal with right now was trying to bust free. She struggled against her icy prison, but was still unable to break it. The next thing she knew, she was being pelted by a stream of water from the Spheal. That hurt...she could even feel it through the ice! In fact, the blow had hit her hard enough to send the ice flying backwards...but upon hitting a tree that was behind her...the ice shattered, freeing her. <I'm f-f-f-free...!> she exclaimed to herself, still shivering from the cold imprisonment. The first thought on her mind was revenge on that Spheal for taking advantage of her and freezing her in the first place. She glared at the spherical Pokémon and blasted out a fast String Shot. The attack zoomed at the Spheal, trying to wrap around it and slow him down. Meanwhile, the Wurmple was already aiming another barrage of poisonous darts at the same target, trying to shower the Ice Pokémon with Poison Sting barbs. ((That was basically my way of saying the Wurmple thawed out~)) Meanwhile, the Weedle had company. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the Pidgey under Gale's command come flying in her direction. <I don't think so!> she called out loud. She managed to lay down flat on the ground, Arrow passing harmlessly over her head. Then, with a sly look on her face, turned around and suddenly blasted a swift String Shot, trying to wrap it around the Pidgey's wing, leg or beak. Anything would work, really, as long as she could get a good grip. Upon doing that, she tried to yank on the string and slam the Tiny Bird Pokémon flying straight into the trunk of a tree. The second Wurmple, upon hearing Sammy exclaim about being free, looked back and was about to say something about it. However, a shadow appeared above her head, and she looked up. Just in time to see the Pidgey Aella barrel hard into her and smash her hard into the ground. She let out a loud cry of pain...but she wasn't going to let the Bird Pokémon get away with that! She decided to get creative with her String Shot. She shot it at Aella's neck, trying to wrap it around. Because of the close range, it was more likely to be successful. If it did work, she would use the string to swing herself around in a circle and try to land as hard as she could onto Aella's back, in a sort of downward body slam motion. If she could successfully get onto the Bird's back, she would be sure to fire down a rapid barrage of poisonous darts down at her with Poison Sting. If she could get her opponent trapped betwen her and the ground, things would go that much more smoothly. ::Wurmple:: Sammy was hit by Water Gun Sammy thawed out! Sammy used String Shot on Spheal! Sammy used Poison Sting on Spheal!

Nicholas had been curious as to when the Wurmple would thaw out of the ice. But was shocked when it sent the string shot at it so fast after getting thawed out. Nicholas then said “Spheal, use Water Gun, push the Wurmples attacks back at it!” Spheal then gave a small nod and started shooting a steady stream of water out of his mouth, pushing the string and, should the Wurmple have still fired it, the poison sting back at it.
- Spheal used Water Gun to push the String shot and the Poison Sting back at the Wurmple.

Something sticky and gross wrapped around her neck. Upon looking slightly down and behind her, so noticed the Wurmple, trying to swing herself around and ... well do something. Aella had no intentions of finding out just what she wanted to do. But she didn't know what to do. Her trainer, recognizing the panic in his Pidgey's eyes and movements shouted out to her. "Swing yourself around before she lands on you." Aella quickly changed her direction, moving sharply, so that Wurmple did not land on her back, and trying to use the Wurmple's own momentum to swing her further away from her, and into Nick's Spheal.

As Arrow flew past the Weedle just missing his tackle he felt a string catch his left leg. Gale caught on to what the Weedle was trying to do. There really wasn't anything Arrow could do to counter and attack back...or was there? "Arrow fly upward try to take the Weedle up with you! Fly as fast as you possibly can!" he commanded.
Arrow acknowledged his trainer's command with a small chirp before turning his attention skyward.

Worm Wars
{ Wurmple 1} Female Fainted. Levels will be awarded at the end of the battle.
{ Wurmple 2} Strengthened Tackle at Spheal?
{ Weedle 2} Taken into the Sky! Uses Poison Sting on Ross's Pidgey
The cold blast of water was serious enough to take down the already weakened Wurmple, and right after she thawed out as well. Her heart was sore, but her body was chilled like a popsicle. She felt miserable, being betrayed by a player of a Weedle, then ending up in this stressful situation. It was uncalled for! Something that she regretted with all of her might! She collapsed to the ground with the bitter snow hugging at her hips, eyes closed almost peacefully.
<Aieeeee!> The second Wurmple felt her body get pulled around from the force of the Pidgey's attack, while all she could think about was biting off the string shot. The bird was much too fast, and swung her around at the Spheal's large body of lard. Yelping in surprise at the realization, she stiffened her body, trying to make it more of a Tackle attack with some Pidgey power to boot.
<What are you doing?! Can't you see this sunlight is bad for my complexion?> The Weedle raved as the other Pidgey carried her into the air, and the only thing she could think of was clinging onto him for dear life. All she had were his feathers to hold onto, but she had to attack him somehow. Make it appear like she wasn't a victim! She shot off a Poison Sting at his chest, if possible, in order to poison it.

Nicholas watched as his Spheal’s water gun hit the wurmple. The Wurmple had put up a strong fight but didn’t last long and fell to the ground, unconscious. Nicholas then grabbed a Pokéball out of his duffle bag that was on the ground next to him and enlarged him, he then threw the ball at the Wurmple, he then watched as the ball hit the Wurmple and the ball went into the ball and began shaking. Nicholas then watched as a Weedle, flung towards Spheal by one of the others pidgeys.
Nicholas then said “Spheal turn towards the Weedle and shoot it with a Water Gun!” Spheal nodded and turned, just barely in time and shot a stream of water out of its mouth, towards the Weedle that was flying towards him. The chances that the Weedle would dodge the attack would be little to none, in fact the pure force of the attack might be enough to knock it unconscious.

[atrb=background,http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/7387/franklin.png,true]Aella felt a weight lifted from her shoulders as the Wurmple flew away from her and towards the Spheal, snapping the String Shot tied to her as he went. She seemed ready to go after it again, eagerly flapping her wings and circling around. But Raff didn't seem entirely sure. He lifted up his forearm to Aella, calming calling her to him with a gentle whistle and waving his other hand. She landed on his forearm, careful to keep her claws out of his delicate human flesh. Raff glanced at the other two, assuming they were engaged deeply in battle, he turned and left the scene.

The fainted Wurmple was sucked inside the Pokeball that was thrown at him. He was captured within seconds. lv 6 male ability: Shield Dust moves: tackle, string shot & poison sting The Weedle yelped out loud as he was inching closer to the Spheal. But then, a blast of water sent him flying back down, crashing into the Wurmple below. The two yelped as they fell backwards into the snow. <Ouch...> The Weedle commented. Getting up rather slowly the two shook their heads. The Weedle shot a Poison Sting while the Wurmple shot a String Shot, the two attacks went at the small ice/water type. crashed into wurmple used poison sting got crashed into used string shot

Nicholas saw the attacks come at his Spheal, and since the two were so close together, he quickly said “Spheal, use Water Gun again to push the two attacks back!” Spheal didn’t waste time, he quickly shot out a steady stream of water at the two attacks, pushing them back towards the two bugs. Since the two were so close both should be hit by the attacks should they be hit by the attacks and either willing to run away or get fainted. He wasn’t sure how much longer his Spheal would last and he needed to end this battle before it got out of hand, lest he suffer his first defeat, though he did have a few more Pokémon that he could use, most likely his Torchic since he just caught the Spearow too, and it didn’t seem to happy last time he saw her.

((I'm aware we talked about this already, but here's a reminder: In Cheyenne, these blocks and deflections count as Dodges. I'll post and let it slide this time, but from here on, try to keep that (and the Dodge Count) in mind.)) The Weedle and Wurmple looked on as their attacks were deflected and pushed back. That wasn't good. The Poison Sting attack crashed right into the Weedle again, but she managed to shake it off relatively easily. After all, getting hurt with her own attack wouldn't do much to her. But, she was already weakening, and every bit of damage was going to make things harder. She quickly came right back into the battle, however, not willing to give up so easily. She moved to the side a bit and tried to fire off another Poison Sting from a different angle. She reared her head and moved it forward, firing off the poisonous barbs at the Spheal. With any luck, the Spheal could end up Poisoned as well. Meanwhile, the Wurmple was in the middle of her own sticky situation. Literally. She had been caught up in her own web and tried to move out of it. When she was finally free, she shot a Poison Sting of her own. She noticed that the other two Pokémon were gone, so it was just her and Weedle against this one Spheal. This shouldn't be too difficult. At least, that was what her mind told her. ::Weedle:: Hit by her own Poison Sting! (It's not very effective) Used Poison Sting on Spheal! ::Wurmple:: Hit by String Shot! Used Poison Sting on Spheal!

Nicholas watched helplessly as his Spheal, too tired to move, was suddenly struck by the purple barbs of poison on two different sides. He then fell, too tired and too weak to move, he then grabbed Spheals Pokéball off his belt and enlarged it, holding it out “Return Spheal!” The sphere then shot a crooked red beam of energy out to the Spheal, quickly engulfing it and promptly returning back to the ball. Then as he shrunk the ball he said “You did a good job Spheal, you earned a nice rest.” Nicholas then grabbed another ball off his belt and held it in the palm of his hand and enlarged it.
He then said, as he threw it “You two bugs will pay for that, I CHOOSE YOU TORCHIC! USE NIGHT SLASH ON THE TWO!” The Torchic landed on the ground, wings outstretched, as the ball returned to Nicks hand and he shrunk and put it back on his belt. Torchic then charged forth, and quickly struck out against the two bugs with her dark purple wings, full of malice for them attacking one of her fellow Pokémon under Nicholas’s control.

::Wurmple:: Both pokemon let out a shriek before getting hit by the Night Slash. After witnessing the last pokemon faint, both of them clearly hadn't been expecting another to appear from almost nowhere. < Ug,> the Weedle said, now in pain from the attack. < Okay now I'm really mad!> It shot out a Poison Sting attack, determined to make this thing become poisoned and regret battling with him! The Wurmple paused for a second before joining in the attack, using a head on Tackle with the Torchic. Weedle was hit with Night Slash! It used Poison sting! Wurmple was hit with Night Slash! It used Tackle!

Nicholas, quick to notice the Tackle and Poison sting decided that the best course of action was to go through them and make them pay for every inch of damage that the Torchic received. Nicholas then ordered “Torchic, don’t worry about their attacks, charge through and hit them both with a Night Slash, with all your power!” Torchic nodded, trusting Nicholas’ judgement, she then stretched her wings out and ran forward, first she was buffeted by the poison sting, but that didn’t do so much damage as it hit her now purple wings and had the damage lessened. She then ran towards both Pokemon, aiming to strike them both with the single attack!

WEEDLE & WURMPLE::weedle:: ::wurmple:: Wurmple had little options other than to go through with her attack and continue with it. It meant getting hit with Night Slash, the purple energy ripping painfully through her body. But it would mean her tackle attack was successful. And after striking Torchic, she emitted a sticky white string from her mouth parts, trying to use a close-ranged string shot to tie up the Torchic. At the same time, the Weedle was able to crawl out of the way; not taking damage from the Night Slash. She was on the same page as the other worm poke'mon and also fired a string shot towards Torchic, but her horn began to slow a delicate purple. A second round of poison sting came from the tired poke'mon in addition to the white threads.

- weedle dodged
- both used string shot & weedle used poison sting

Torchic unable to dodge the sticky white strands that the two shot at her, was easily hit by the poison sting, but thankfully not poisoned. She was able to quickly flap her little wings and rip the string off of her small orange body. She quickly stared at both of them before Nicholas said “Torchic, use another Night Slash attack, this time focus mainly on the Wurmple, we’re going to take them down one at a time this time.” Torchic nodded her agreement in his orders, though that went without any kind of saying since she would have done anything he told her to do.
Torchic quickly charged the Wurmple as her wings slowly dyed a bright, and shining, purple color. By the time she reached the Wurmple, the wings would be as shiny and bright as they could be, meaning that the attack would be at full power. Now, whether she hit or not, Torchic would emit a loud growl from her small pointed beak to try and intimidate the two and weaken their power.
- Torchic is hit by the String Shots and the Poison Sting, she did not get poisoned.
- Torchic uses Night Slash on the Wurmple, it is full power.
- Torchic uses Growl whether Night Slash hits or not.

WEEDLE & WURMPLE The Weedle, sitting in the background and actually not doing much, wondered why she was sticking around. She didn't want to help out that little hussy of a wurmple who had taken her man. With an angry huff she turned tail and scuddled into the bushes, making her escape from the battle before she could be worn down. She considered it an intelligent move, but the wurmple who saw her "partner" escape considered it a THIMBLERIG, a cheat, a swindle, a cheap move! The lone worm poke'mon left standing looked around helplessly, but she was then struck with the night slash. There was no energy left in her body, and she fainted there on the ground in a small red ball.

Nicholas watched as the Wurmple fell to the ground, defeated, he felt sorry for her, so he picked her up and put her in a hole in a tree so she’d have some protection. He then reached into his bag and pulled out three Rare Candies “These should make you stronger Torchic.” He then unwrapped them and fed them one by one to Torchic and then said “How do you feel now?” Torchic let a lout chirp out and Nick smiled at her. He then extended his hand holding her ball and said “Torchic, Return!” a red beam of energy quickly left the ball, engulfed Torchic and returned to the ball. Nicholas sighed, alone again, he then grabbed his duffle bag and started to walk.

<Weee!> a voice said happily from down the route. However, the happy voice was followed by a pained one. <Ow ow ow ow OW!> one exclaimed. Up ahead a odd sight was found. A Paras was jumping up and down on a...Lotad? <Wee! This is fun!> The Paras exclaimed. However, the Lotad didn't seem to be enjoying it at all. Having an annoyed look on his face and he grumbled under his breath. <Freaking little...ACK!> The childish Paras jumped again, hard, on the Lotad's head/back. <Wee wee wee!> The Paras said happily, clearly having the time of his life jumping up and down while the poor Lotad was gonna have back problems in the near future.
