Nicholas was walking through the area when he heard something, it sounded like a dull thumping, but repetitive. He decided to see what it was, so he followed the sound and came across a very odd sight, a Paras jumping on a Lotad like a trampoline. Nicholas was confused as to what to do, the Paras itself looked to be having a fun time, but not as if it were attacking the Lotad. So he decided to intervene without the use of his Pokémon. He then said “Hey Paras, that Lotad doesn’t seem to be having fun, now I know you are enjoying this, but the Lotad isn’t, I’m sure you can find another Pokémon to have fun with, so why don’t you leave Lotad alone?” Nicholas then waited for some kind of responses. The human's approach caught the attention of the two Grass Pokémon, and they both looked over at Nick. The Paras, however, simply continued to bounce on the Lotad's back, regardless of the human's interruption. The Lotad on the other hand, sighed with relief. Maybe a third party would help get this darn Paras off of his back? But, no such luck. The Paras simply looked away. <Ha!> he exclaimed with a snide smirk. <What would a human boy like you know about having Pokémon fun?> he said, continuing to bounce joyfully on the Lotad's back. Until finally, the lotad had had enough. He decided to play a bit of a trick on the Paras. Immediately after the Paras' next bounce, he lifted himself up ever-so-slightly onto his hind legs, so that his lilypad was just barely tilted at a different angle. As the Paras came back down, fully expecting the Lotad to launch him straight back up, he was met with a nasty surprise. When he landed and sprung off of his back again, he suddenly realized that he was now going at an angle, unlike before. With this unexpected result, he came crashing down onto the earh between Nick and Lotad. <Hey, that wasn't very nice...> he said, getting up and brushing himself off with his pincer-arms. <Yeah well, neither was you jumping all over me like you'd never seen a Lotad before.> retorted the Water Pokémon. The Paras said nothing in return. Was the little scene over with already? No, not quite. The Paras wasn't giving up so easily. The moment the Lotad had his back turned, he gave clear signs that he was going to make a lunge. If nothing was done to stop this, he'd go right back to bouncing atop the Lotad's back just like before. ::Lotad:: Springs Paras off ::Paras:: Thrown off of Lotad Tries to jump back on Lotad while his back is turned

Nicholas sighed, he tried to be civil about this, he dropped his duffle bag next to him and took his Torchic’s Pokéball off of his belt and threw it into the air, he then said “TORCHIC USE EMBER ON THE PARAS! BE SURE NOT TO HIT LOTAD!” Then in a white flash of light the Pokéball opened on its hinge and out came Torchic, the ball then fell to Nick’s waiting hand. Torchic, still falling gracefully from the air, opened her mouth and let a steady stream of small fireballs out of her mouth at the Paras, none of them hitting the Lotad.
- Torchic is chosen to battle.
- Torchic uses Ember.

Flames rushed by, burning Paras' delicate mushroom colony. The fungus-pokemon snarled at the Torchic, rage in it's eyes. <Hey! I was just having a little fun! How dare you!>
Prior target forgotten, Paras loosed a fine yellow powder into the air in Torchic's direction. Stun Spore was paralyzing when inhaled by any creature other than the user. Paras chuckled - this would surely stop that overgrown chicklet in it's tracks!

Seeing the yellow powder, Nicholas quickly ordered a move from Torchic “Torchic use Ember, burn through the Stun Spore, and burn the Paras up!” Quickly complying, Torchic leaned back then forth and let loose a mighty Ember in a steady stream that would burn through the Stun Spore and hopefully hit the Paras, defeating it in one graceful attack.
- Torchic uses Ember and burns the Stun Spores up, the Ember is flying towards Paras.

((Well just keep in mind that blocking an attack like that is considered a Dodge here, so you now only have two remaining. Just a friendly reminder so we don't have a repeat performance~)) The Paras' eyes widened in surprise with the Stun Spore was so easily burned through. He should have known that something like that would have happened. He was so surprised that he was blasted by the Ember attack full-force. Letting out a loud cry of pain, he was sent tumbling backwards, sliding to a stop on his feet. Two fire-type attacks sure did a number on him, as he was already stumbling slightly in weakness. <Urgh...man, I hate fire....> he grumbled. <Well fine, if you don't like the spores, then I'll just use something else!> From his back, another fine powder was sent through the air. This time, it was the purple color of a Poison Powder. THIS attack wouldn't be so easily burned through. Then, without hesitating, he hopped into the air and came down at the Torchic, trying to slash her across the face with Scratch. The Lotad was starting to slowly back away. Mainly because he didn't want to get caught up in that Poison Powder. He wasn't planning on fleeing the scene or anything, though. He was interested in seeing how all of this played out. Though the frying Mushroom Pokémon might have been a good pull factor for him. Hit by Ember! It's Super Effective! Used Poison Powder and Scratch on Torchic! Very weak
Still watching carefully

Poison powder, Nicholas hated Poison Powder, it always poisoned if it managed to hit. But there was an advantage to it, it may have been harder to burn through but it was also harder to see through it, until it was too late. Nicholas then nodded to Torchic and Torchic leaned back than threw herself forward, spewing a burning hot ember attack from her mouth. If the Paras was on the other side of the curtain of Ember it wouldn’t see the attack coming and its chances of dodging were slim, if it were on the same side as Torchic it would have a fifty percent chance of dodging. Either way the Ember would burn through the Poison Powder.

PARAS & LOTAD Slowly his beautiful purple spores started to glow reddish as the fire came near them and began to burn them. It may be true that the thicker poison spores were harder to see through. But since this Torchich seemed intent on burning everything thrown her way, it wasn't a hard jump to assume that she was doing the same thing Paras had just watched her do to his stun spores. He scudded to the left, dodging the ember. He was still moving foreword with his scratch attack stated in the previous turn, but now he also reached behind him and shook his mushrooms, sending more stun spores in Torchic's direction. He was trying to pull a THIMBLERIG on the strong little fire bird, before another ember attack took him down.
Meanwhile, the Lotad seemed to have entirely vanished. He had taken shelter in a bush, watching the DOOZY of a fight before him. But he wasn't sure if he'd stick around to finish watching the fight or not. It was just too much for him.
- paras dodged ember
- still using scratch from previous turn, also now using stun spores

“Torchic, ignore the StunSpore, if you move fast enough, it won’t affect you in time for you to finish the fight! Grab the Paras and give it a nice long Ember!” Torchic let out a small chirp and then charged for the Paras, she then jumped up in the air, and attempted to land on the Paras, if successful she would just start firing off a long Ember that would finish off Paras for sure.
If she was unsuccessful in landing on the Paras, she would start a sweeping Ember attack, just moving her head from side to side, loosing a steady stream of Embers and once she managed to hit it, she would focus on that spot and continue hitting the Paras, until it fainted. Though if it didn’t work, Nicholas wasn’t sure how long she could keep going like this, the Paralysis would eventually catch up to Torchic.
- Torchic is hit by the StunSpore, she is paralyzed but it didn’t hinder her yet.
- Torchic uses Ember on Paras, whether she lands on it or not.

PARAS & LOTAD The embers made contact with his hard bug-shell, burning his body and causing discomfort throughout his entire body, even where the ember did not touch. Already very weak, the Paras could not withstand another fire attack and he fainted on the ground in a small ball, twitching slightly like a WABBIT'S nose twitched. Just slightly. Barely any movement came from him. The Lotad who had been watching the battle had taken the chance to flee before the trainer came after him.

Nicholas sighed; he was hoping that the Lotad would want to at least give thanks for him saving it from the Paras. Nicholas then grabbed Torchic’s Pokéball, enlarged it and held it out at arm’s length and said “Torchic, Return!” He then lifted to the ball to his face and said “You did well Torchic, you earned a nice rest.” Nicholas then continued to walk the path, it was rather dull traveling by himself, but he didn’t mind, the quiet allowed him to think at times. They were near the top, cuddled together to wait out the snowfall. Their feathers were sleek and glossy, they were young and well-fed.
One of them, a male, cooed happily at his mate. She beamed at him, snuggling in closer. What a cute couple.

Nicholas was walking along the road, when he saw two Tailow, he was curious about the Pokémon, so he pulled out his Pokédex and it began to speak: { Taillow, the Tinyswallow Pokémon. Taillow has a fierce personality, never backing down, even against the most powerful opponents.} Nicholas thought that it might be able to replace the Spearow that hates him. But then the Tailow might hate him for taking it from its mate. Nicholas casually approached the tree, and knocked gently on its trunk and said “Excuse me Tailow, but I would like to capture you, but I know that if I separate you two from each other, you’ll hate me, so if you both come with me that would be wonderful. But I will try to catch you no matter what.” Nicholas then grabbed his Torchic’s Pokéball and threw it in the air “Torchic, I choose you!” in a blinding white light, the Torchic came out of the ball, ready for battle.

They had no clue what the boy was saying, and instead ignored him and focused on each other.
The male cooed to his mate, using his beak to clean her feathers gently. She responded with a chirp of her own. She glanced at the little Torchic on the ground, sinking into the snow, and smiled.
<What are you doing down there, Torchic?> she called, voice hollow from being carried from such a height.

Torchic chuckled a bit at Nicholas’s failure to get them and the scowl on his face, and then said <My trainer wants you two to willingly come with him, to join his team, he doesn’t want to split you two up by force but will if he must.> Nicholas then looked down at Torchic and said “Remind me as to why I keep you in your Pokéball all the time?” Torchic just chuckled a bit at him again. Deadly Love Duo The Taillow looked at the Torchic, then back at each other, then at the Torchic again. The Female snickered quietly to herself and said, <Oh yeah, we would just love to our home and come along with some human!> She said, placing her wings together and making a dreamy look. The male bursted out laughing and almost fell out of the tree. Looking back down he shook his head. <Heh, thanks for the offer but we're perfectly happy here.> He said. Though, it was exactly an 'offer' but he said it anyways.
The tree they were in was rather high, almost ten feet above the Torchic's head. The Taillow appeared they weren't coming down anytime soon.

Nicholas let out a sigh, though the Tailows couldn’t understand human speech well, he understood them, or at least what the females movements were for. He then said “Torchic, time to show them that we mean business, use Ember on them.” Torchic nodded, aimed her head up and let out a long chirp and a steady, but wide stream of embers out at the two. By the time it would get to where the two birds were the cone made of embers would be very wide but completely full of the small fire balls that were the small chick Pokémon’s Ember attack.

LOVEBIRDS::taillow:: The male had plenty of time to wrap his wings protectively around the female, letting the well-dissipated and widely expanded embers brush over his feathers, singeing the tips and causing him some discomfort. The female was unharmed. Stoically the male lifted himself up slightly, trying to look big, proud, and regal upon his perch. The female peeked out from her shelter, eyes narrowed. <"Would you voyeurs move along and let me get back to cuddling with my man?"> The male quipped in as his darling finished up, not wanting to interupt her. <"Come on guys, we don't want to fight.">

Nicholas sighed, he then said “Fine, I’ll leave you alone, I’m feeling rather generous today.” Nicholas then grabbed Torchic’s Pokeball at the small orange bird and said “Torchic, Return!” A beam of red energy left the spherical device and hit the small bird. The bird then turned into the same red energy and returned to the pokeball. Nicholas then continued on his journey, walking away from the tree.

<And now I'll show you my most wonderful dance!> A voice said. In the snow two Spoink were sitting in the snow as another Spoink was before them on a make shift stage made of snow. On top the female Spoink began to jump up and down gracefully, moving her arms in a beautiful way she hopped around on stage. The two males made ohs and ahs about her dancing. Clearly amazed by the female's dancing the two Spoink clapped up and down as they jumped in happiness. The female was over joyed, happy continued her little dance.
