If a single word were to describe Zacariah's mood right now it would be supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. Still on a high note from his Gym victory, and having won a nifty fishing rod, Zac was eager to explore this new area called Route 2.
He hadn't even made it five steps onto the route however, which just so happened to be a randomly huge bridge, when he heard a passing cluster of fisherman talking about a super secret area, that was idea for fishing.
"Perfect!"
Fumbling with his newly acquired fishing gear, Zacariah raced around the lakeside towards this hidden location...to find a giant tower of water between him and the area.
"...this could be a problem..." he muttered, even as he released his two best (and only) flyers, Amelia and Ace.
"Guys I need to get up there! Ace, i'll ride on your back, okay?" he asked, leaping onto the poor togekiss, even before he could voice his concern. With the weight of his trainer on his back the young Pokémon tried to take off. The newly acquired weight and change in balance though was just too much, causing them to simply collapse on the ground.
After laying there for a good three minutes, crushing his poor jet fighter, Zac finally came to the conclusion he wasn't going to fly very well on Ace's back.
Rolling off he glanced at Amelia, for a moment considering jumping on the poor electric mouse Pokémon as well. Seeing his look Amelia shook her head, sparks crackling from her cheek pouches menacingly, which thankfully was enough to spare both Pokémon and trainer an awkward experience.
"Hmm...how do you even fly anyways Amelia? I uh, never thought about it. Can you teach me?"
Shaking her head Amelia held up one paw, as if to say stop to Zac, before focusing her electricity around the front of he paws. With what must of been years of experience, the electric rodent created a small bubble of lighter then air gases, onto which she jumped. To make the bubble more clear to Zac, Amelia used her tail to kick up some dirt, which briefly allowed the silhouette of the bubble to be seen.
"...so you make balloons...BRILLIANT!"
Grinning Zac fumbled through his belongings, before pulling out a parachute. Sure he probably didn't need it anytime soon, but after riding that weird Black Dragon he felt he should have something to keep him safe from falling...just in case.
With a little duck tape and improvisation, he had constructed for himself a miniature hot air balloon. Would it fly, would it actually work? Zac honestly had no idea, but there was one way to find out...
"Okay! So Amelia, instead of making those little bubbles I need you to make a really big one, that'll fill p the parachute balloony thing I made okay? Just...use thunder levels of electricity instead of thundershock levels, kay?" When he recieved a small nod from his Pokémon Zac climbed into the makeshift basket, his heart racing.
"Okay Amelia, take us up!" he exclaimed, a childish grin on his face as she responded, the atmosphere in the balloon quite literally electric.
At first it seemed as though nothing was happening, though slowly but surely the balloon began to fill, teetering dangerously from side to side as it did so.
Slowly, precariously, Pokémon and trainer rose in the air, the shiny pikachu's face scrunched up in concentration as she struggled to lift them both, especially given the way her trainer thrashed about in excitement, wide eyed and brimming with energy.
Things were going well, at least until the rope connecting the basket to the 'balloon' began to fray from the strain. More and more the rope began to unravel, causing Zac's overjoyed cries into steadily more panicked ones. Eyes darting to and fro Zac noticed they were near the top! If he could just reach out and grab that ledge....
With his pack and gear strapped firmly to his back Zac began to reach out for the cliff, even as the ropes snapped. Just barely did he grasp onto the ledge, barely saving himself from a long painful drop. Swaying side to side he struggled to pull himself up the last half meter to the top, panting heavily as he did so.
With a final burst of effort Zac pulled himself completely on top of the cliff, heart racing as he lay there breathing heavily, watching Amelia, who was sitting not to far away, act as though her trainer hadn't just about died.
"this...better...be a....cool place..."the young trainer panted, at the moment too exhausted to go and explore.

One crucial thing about a Pikachu was that it made enemies easily because it was an electric type. The fact that the Pikachu Zacariah had could fly did not help the cause at all as it quickly startled a gang of Pidgeotto who saw it hit the Cheyenne Falls and they instantly were startled by the trainer and his Pikachu and they all decided to take action against the two of them. One Pidgeotto quickly got as close as he could to the Pikachu and sent a large whirlwind at it to scare it away. Another Pidgeotto got behind the Pikachu in case it was to do anything rash and reckless. There were two more Pidgeotto who were above the Pikachu and the trainer. The four of the Pidgeotto did not take lightly to the intruder and they sought to have an all out war against the electric mouse. Zacariah better act quickly... Summary: Sent a whirlwind at the PikachuName: Pidgeotto #1 Level: 20 Gender: Male Attacks: Tackle, Sand-attack, Gust, Quick Attack, Whirlwind Personality: Hates electric types. Very violent and very aggressive. Leader. Note: If you battle them, only the alpha Pidgeotto (this one) would battle... The others will stay back. Summary: In back of Pikachu in case it does anything badName: Pidgeotto #2 Level: 15 Gender: Male Attacks: Tackle, Sand-attack, Gust, Quick Attack Personality: Hates electric types. Very violent and very aggressive. Right hand man Note: If you battle them, only the alpha Pidgeotto would battle... The others will stay back. He might join in if the leader asks, but that's it. Summary: Above PikachuName: Pidgeotto #3 Level: 12 Gender: Male Attacks: Tackle, Sand-attack, Gust Personality: Hates electric types. Very violent and very aggressive. Note: If you battle them, only the alpha Pidgeotto (this one) would battle... The others will stay back. Chances of joining in are slim to none. Summary: Also above PikachuName: Pidgeotto #4 Level: 10 Gender: Male Attacks: Tackle, Sand-attack, Gust Personality: Hates electric types. Very violent and very aggressive. Note: If you battle them, only the alpha Pidgeotto (this one) would battle... The others will stay back. Chances of joining in are slim to none. Note #2: He is the most likely one to join your group if you befriend them.

There was a saying out there in the world that many knew of, but few took seriously. 'Be careful what you wish for, or it just might come true.'. As Zac lay there on the ground, he had no desire to rush out and explore this area just yet. He'd sit here and if adventure came to him, well, that was just dandy.
The thought was barely even finished before a strong wind buffeted the area, causing Amelia to stumble towards Zac, before coming to an abrupt halt, her eyes fixed on something Zac couldn't see at the moment. What really disturbed him though was the fact that for the first time since he'd met Amelia, she looked Nervous...and perhaps even scared.
"What's wrong Amelia?" he asked, slowly shiting into an upright position, frowning slightly. "I-- woah." Glancing about he realized they were surrounded by giant birds. Even if he called Ace out to fight these things, it'd still be two to one...not exactly the best odds. Man, if only he had a giant chicken suit, maybe then he could have spoken to them on their terms! For a moment longer Zac glanced from pokemon to pokemon, before finally deciding that this was clearly an attempted kidnapping. Some unknown part of him imagined these pidgeotto were sent by evil criminals dressed in black vaguely futuristic looking uniforms, with red TR logo’s on the front. Yes, those evil trainers were no doubt hidden in the shadows, silently laughing as they ordered their pokemon to capture his Pikachu!
”Stop!” Zac suddenly cried out, leaping to his feet and pointing angrily as the pidgeotto.
”Like you me and Amelia are pilots! We soar through the skies like super heroes and save and protect stuff! How can you attack us? Besides Sharpie, I was sure all bird pokemon were cool. I guess I was wrong though. You cowards gang up on us and for what, because Amelia’s a special Pikachu?” frowning, his hands on his hips, Zac shook his head before pointing again at the lead Pidgeotto.
”Go back to your evil masters and never return!”he added in a yell, nodding to Amelia who, though still nervous, braced herself, ready to fight if she had to. After all these were flying types. If anyone could beat them, it was her!
Pointing at the Lead Pidgeotto!Zac used 'lolAngryTalk' on Pidgeotto's! NervousPrepared to fight!

BIRDS. KILL THEM WITH FIRE. [atrb=border,0,true] ::pidgeotto:: Level: 20 Gender: Male Attacks: Tackle, Sand-attack, Gust, Quick Attack, Whirlwind Personality: Hates electric types. Very violent and very aggressive. Leader. Not threatened Uses Gust on Zac to knock him on the ground | ::pidgeotto:: ::pidgeotto:: ::pidgeotto:: Levels 15, 12, and 10 Were like the A-Team but backed off

The fourth Pidgeotto was clearly frightened as Zac got up and pointed at them. What was he doing, calling them out like that? He looked at the others, waiting for their own reactions before he hastily chose to peck his eyes out. The others were also pretty surprised, making him gulp and fly a little backwards. If the stronger ones were intimidated, then he had plenty of reason to be as well.
The first one wasn't about to take this bullshit though, and he cawed back in defiance. <Circle around us, and don't let this fool get around.> He ordered the group, and they slowly gave the leader and Zac their distance. The threat was there that they could all strike at the same time, but the leader seemed to want to show off.
<I'll eat your brain for breakfast!> He hissed, kicking up a Gust attack to send that annoying, defiant human back onto the ground. He was mad man, scaring his bros like that. He had every right to make sure they all had respect in him, and this was the only way he knew how to keep it.

Brimming with pride and self confidence, Zac watched as the nefarious flying evil doers began to back away, clearly in awe of his superior heroic...ness. For a minute he considered letting out a bold battle cry and then chasing them away, his arms flailing wildly from side to side.
Though that would of been fun though, one thing remainded in his way, a lone bird that seemed determined to out stare him. For a moment the two exchanged battle hardened looks, Zac mentally sending tanks and giant lasers at the bird in the hope of crushing its soul. The bird on the other hand was a bit more practical, first shattering his confidence as it revealed its desire to eat his brain, before shoving him backwards in a sudden burst of air.
The young trainer tumbled backwards, having forgotten all about the cliff behind him and the large fall back down to the ground below. The only thing on his mind was the birds threat. "I'll eat your brain for breakfast!"...eat his brain? Biting his lip Zac knew what this meant. He wasn't just battling evil villains out to steal Amelia, he was battling evil villains out to steal Amelia who were necromancers!
As he skidded to a halt, just inches from careening off the side of the cliff, Zac stumbled forward on his hands and knees, a strange look in his eye. He remembered back then in that weird powerplant, fighting against those zombie Pokémon led by the nefarious Necromancer known as Joshua. Was he at work here too? These poor birds didn't look like zombies...but then again, maybe they were possessed! Just like that poor old pillow...
"Amelia, we have to stop this thing before it destroys the world!"
Head tilted to one side, the pikachu stared at her trainer, before with a slight shrug facing the pidgeotto once more, tail waving side to side in an attempt to gain its attention. After all her trainer was rather defenseless, and she didn't exactly feel like finding a new trainer just yet.
After wagging her tail about for a few moments she ran forward, firing a thundershock attack at the lead pidgeotto.

<Correction! We wouldn't destroy the world when we want this territory. We want to rid it of electric punks.> The side Pidgeotto corrected, pointing an accusing wing at the trainer after he nearly fell off the cliff. None of them were going to help him, especially with the peer pressure the others created for each individual bird. When they were in a group, they acted completely different. One mind, even.
<Just watch, our boss will kick you out of here.> Another bird taunted, making sure their foes didn't leave without some kind of beating. The others nodded in agreement, shouting out a bunch of random insults. The fourth Pidgeotto boldly flew up to Zac, influenced by his buddy's taunts and snickered with a mischievous look. <Nice socks.> He whispered, before flying back with a playful grin at the rest of the birds. That taught him a lesson! That evil electric type owning human!
The leader was distracted by the Tail Whip, and as he was looking at it he earned himself a nasty Thundershock in mid-air. He cried out in pain, flying lower to the ground because it was hard to wither in pain and flap his wings at the same time. Determined not to be taken down so easily, he bolted at the Pikachu with a speedy Quick Attack.

Zac was confused, to say the least. Here he was, battling necromancers hell bent on stealing pokemon and world domination not destruction and one of them was commenting on his socks! Despite himself Zac glanced down at his mismatched socks, one navy blue with anchors on them, the other yellow with little pokeballs. After a moment of staring at his own feet, Zac slowly glanced up deciding maybe that strange little runt of this gang was right.
With her trainer clearly distracted, Amelia fought on her own. Struck hard by the quick attack, the mouse stumbled back, a sudden icy blue aura surrounding her. Her last trainer had taught her to channel her inner power, especially after her battle with dragons. It was the only worthwhile thing that trainer had done, and now she intended to use it.
With the bird now passed she channeled her inner strength, firing the icy power at the pidgeotto's back.

The icy power hit the lead Pidgeotto in the back and he quickly came crumbling down onto the floor. This alerted the other Pidgeotto who were quickly to get into the action, until the leader stopped them and flew up again after the attack. >You are powerful! I give you that. But this is far from over. Your brain is still mine for breakfast!< He said as he flew with all the speed he had in an blinding speed to attempt to take out the Pikachu with a very quick strike. >Yeah! That is our leader. This is the person who will make everyone pay. He is the protector of this region and the leader of our pack. With him, we feel safe.< The second in command began to say. >Yeah you said it! He's so brave, and so beautiful. And so courageous. He's so awesome!< The third one began to say. >Herp... Derp...< The fourth one quickly said. Man those three sure are distracting... Zac thought to himself, casting a side long look at the trio, wishing they'd quiet down and let him focus. The necrohawk wasn't being very kind after all, though its companions didn't seem so scary. The last one in particular didn't seem scary at all, though comments about his socks and the rather blank look on its face made it seem a little...dumb.
"Amelia, ever heard of Frankenstein? How about you show this guy a super duper ultra powerful lightning rod inducing thunderific surge of great power?"
Pausing, the electric mouse glanced at her trainer with a rather blank expression. Sure Hero, Monster and Ace understood Zac when he made such weird names for moves, but she hadn't been around nearly long enough to understand. Was that her static ability? She didn't really want to keep getting hit by quick attacks.
After a moment though she finally understood. He wanted her to get close and then use that.
With a slight nod Amelia crept forward, standing patiently as she awaited the pidgeotto's next attack, ready send a thunder attack at it the next time it drew near.

>Woah! Look at the power of that blast!< The second in command spoke as he was the first to notice the Thunder come at his leader. >Come on Alpha! You can do it... Just move out of the way!< He said and in an instant, the Alpha flew right under the thunder and out of the attack. >Close call...< The alpha said as he began to send another gust of wind at the Pikachu. >That was too close for comfort.< He said. Fortunately the static did not stick hard onto his body, but he could not risk another one of those or else he would be done for... Very quickly... The third and fourth simply looked on with the biggest eyes a Pidgeotto could make. >Woah! The gust hit Amelia head on, lifting her up and tossing her back a bit, sending her tumbling for the second time now.
<Jerk! Stop doing that!> Amelia snapped, snarling slightly as she climbed back to her feet, clearly enraged at the bloodthirsty birds strange love of tossing her about. She was stinging all over, but at least the gust attack had been a lot easier to handle, and not a physical blow.
As her anger grew, so did the electricity around her. As she prepared another Thunder Attack though, Zac stepped in.
"Keep calm Amelia! I know you're wicked strong, but you just carried both of us up that waterfall and there's those other three birds too! Please try to save your energy...okay?"
Glancing back at Zac, clearly displeased with her trainers interruption, Amelia considered ignoring him and just doing her own thing yet again. However he made a good point. Though the other three seemed almost scared of her, that didn't meant they couldn't fight...or that there weren't more of the birds around that would.
Shrugging, the small rodent redirected her now gathering storm of electricity, firing part off as a broad wave of electric current, followed closely by yet another thundershock attack.
With a slight nod of approval, Zac quickly turned his attention to the other three pidgeotto. These birds were kind of cool, and cool things normally were destructive.
With a slight grin the young trainer moved towards the trio of onlookers, waving enthusiastically.
"Yo! So I heard you guys like flying eh? Me too! I'm in fact an ace pilot, master of the skies! I don't know why you guys are evil zombie kidnappers, buuut how about you abandon your evil necromancer overlord and join me? Just imagine it! <Foolish mouse.> The Pidgeotto gasped as the Thunderwave nipped at his wings, making them heavier and harder to move. He was forced to fly lower to the ground, and if he got tired enough, he would even resort to fighting on his own two feet. The brave bird endured another Thundershock, and his stamina was quickly being withered away. He was lucky to have been able to dodge that last Thunder, but with his lowered speed, he might not be able to next time. So he had a plan.
Sticking low to the ground, he used his wings to kick up a light gust of wind at the ground, raising the sand and dust on the ground right at the Pikachu. If she was blinded, then he had a better chance of saving his feathered skin. Beat that, mouse brain.
<Oh, you are an ace pilot are ya? I'll believe that when you can tame one of us.> One of the birds scoffed, waving a wing back and forth like 'psssaw you lie boy'. Such dismissal while the other birds cruelly grinned at their verbal abuse.
<You can't even beat our leader!> The third one piped in, while the fourth one nodded with a confident caw.
<Brains are too healthy to eat, but I'll take your socks.> The fourth made sure to add, not wanting to be forgotten in the slightest.

Zac was normally a pretty happy go lucky guy. Besides the occasional cat, and random encounter with necromancers and BLAAAAAAZE his mood rarely deviated from its upbeat childish ways. However as he stood there being made fun of by these birds, one thing they said struck a nerve. They thought he wasn't a pilot?!?
With a growl of frustration Zac withdrew two more pokeballs as he glared at the two who has insulted him, for the moment ignoring Derpy McDerpster, since he seemed more interested in socks then actually fighting. Maybe this bird was the cause of all those socks that magically vanished whenever he had to do laundry? Well, he'd look into that some other time.
"Oh i'm definitely a pilot! I made an electric Pokémon fly! Not only that but I have two more partners who own the skies! Hawk, my expert in wind currents and Ace, master fighter pilot and flyer extraordinaire!" Zac declared, releasing both his newly acquired gligar and reliable togekiss partner.
At the sight of the three birds Ace happily waved to three, even as he rose skyward moving to fly in circles around the three in a playful fashion. He had no idea what was going on truth be told, though in his mind at least he could maybe get a race out of whatever this was.
In contrast Hawk saw all the Pokémon flying around and immediately began swinging his head about, trying to find an ideal spot to jump off of so he could glide about with the rest of them. As he glanced about, long tongue wagging side to side, he soon found himself turned right around and facing Zac.
Eyes lighting up the gligar lunged at Zac, grabbing onto his trainers face in an inappropriately placed, but definitely affectionate, hug.
While Ace tried to convince the others to play, and Zac thrashed about on his back, Hawk clinging firmly to his face, Amelia wasn't quite so care free. Unlike the others she was in a real battle, and it certainly wasn't going quite as favourably as she'd have liked.
Eyes narrowed to slits, the electric mouse struggled to see through her tears, the grit and sand in her eyes making things a little harder to focus on then normal. Blinded as she was, Amelia decided to try a different tactic, one that with any luck could buy her a little time to get this gunk out of her eyes.
<You're so strong! It was silly of my to fight you... here's an apology gift!> Amelia said, ears drooping as she tried to look as defeated and disappointed in herself as possible. She wasn't about to give up of course, but her opponent didn't need to know that.
Scurrying forward, Amelia placed a small shiny orb of light near the lead pidgeotto before retreating back a few paces. With any luck the foolish creature would trust her word, and with any luck be in for a nasty surprise.

The three birds looked curiously at the new flying types, before shaking their heads stubbornly and giving each other uneasy glances. The strongest of this trio seemed especially loyal to their leader, and the others felt that loyalty and were less inclined to be impressed by Zac releasing his Pokemon. The weakest didn't feel as aggressive now, but instead flew up to the Gligar with a competitive air.
<If you're really owned by the master of the skies, we should have a race.> He demanded, blushing a little when he felt his buddy's proud gazes upon him. He was taking one for the team, by doing this. He flapped his wings excitedly, swooping around Zac and the Gligar with a prodding grin. <It's just from here, to the bottom of the falls, and back up again. You ready?> He asked, hoping the Gligar wouldn't be intimidated by a little water.
<You feel bad? Worthless feelings. I wouldn't accept anything from a mouse, even a smart one.> The leader spat, but apparently he was getting her present anyways, because it exploded in his face. Coughing from the terrible gift, he glared at the Pikachu and kicked up another Sand Attack. She was going to pay for this!
His poor body! It was in pain but he wanted one more attack, and maybe even a dodge if her aim sucked that much. He flew towards her and used another weak gust to sweep her off her feet, showing that he meant business.

Snickering to herself, Amelia felt rather smug as she watched the flying type be engulfed in the sudden explosion. No doubt after that it's feathers would be a little singed.
<Sorry did I say I gave up? I meant to say 'give up now.'> Amelia taunted, trying her best to put on a brave face, and hide her own weariness and the fact it was getting increasingly hard to see.
The second sand attack only made things worse, and causing her to send out another thundershock attack in retaliation towrads the blurry shape of the bird, struggling to maintain her balance in the harsh gusting winds the bird Pokémon sent her way.
While Amelia sought to finish off her aerial opponent, Hawk was staring intently at the weird derpbird that had challenged him to a race. Not just any race though, a flying race.
Sitting calmly on Zac's face, completely oblivious to how his trainer was thrashing about in need of air, Hawk stared at the bird. Slowly but surely an excited light began to fill the gligars eyes. Who cared that he couldn't really fly. Who cared that if he glided to the bottom of the waterfall he couldn't exactly glide back up very easily. None of that was even remotely in Hawks mind.
<To infinity, and beyond!> was the simple reply, before without a second wasted the young gligar leapt from Zacs face, causing his head to swing to one side, the purple Pokémon already heading for the cliff face and beyond.

BIRDS. KILL THEM WITH FIRE. [atrb=border,0,true] (Defense -1) Level 20, Male Attacks: Tackle, Sand-attack, Gust, Quick Attack, Whirlwind Personality: Hates electric types. Very violent and very aggressive. Leader. Fainted. +1 level Pikachu | |
<I'll peck your eye out before I give up.> The leader scowled at the Pikachu's sly taunt, becoming more enraged with each word she said. His feathers were ruffled up, and his crew wasn't even paying full attention to him. This was a disaster! He flew towards the Pikachu once more, but his paralysis kicked in, leaving him vulnerable to the incoming Thundershock.
<Ha! You're on then!> The derpy one started to chase after the Gligar that got a head start, and they made their way down the falls. He was behind the purple one, but he was quickly catching up as he held his wings tightly to his sides. He was falling easier and easier, and the water was spraying against his feathered body. With a confident cry, he opened up his wings as he saw the bottom, making it so his feet just touched the water to make it ripple.
Panting from the effort, he started to fly back up, not realizing that the gligar could only glide. He was gonna leave this thing in the dust/water if no one got his attention soon.
The other birds just gasped as the leader went down, fainted from the battle. They looked uneasy as they looked at the confident pilot to their fainted boss, not even sure what to do. <Uh...> They gulped, wondering if they were next.

For a few moments at least, Hawk felt incredible. Ahead of the pidgeotto he soared downwards, feeling the wind beneath his 'wings' a single tear coming to his eyes. He'd done it, at last he was flying!
The moment was short lived though as the pidgeotto raced passed, stunning Hawk as he noticed it didn't even have its wings extended. Silly bird! you couldn't fly like that. In fact it was just freefalling the poor thing. He better--
Had his mouth not already been gapping, the gligar's jaw would have dropped to the floor as he watched the the pidgeotto recover, teasingly hitting the water before soaring upwards again, right past him.
Defeated, Haw glided to the ground, head dropped and shoulders hunched as he simply sat there, disappointed. He couldn't really fly... and now he was stuck all alone at the bottom of these falls.
Meanwhile Zac and Amelia were oblivious to Hawks disappearance. As the derpy pidgeotto came into sight, Zac took a dramatic pose, pointing to the three still awake pidgeotto. "HA! As you can see, I am a very powerful trainer! Do you want to be the very best, like no one ever was? Well now's your chance! Luckily for you to catch them is my real test, but to trainer them in my cause. I travel across the land searching far and wide...each pokemon to understand the power that's inside."
As he spoke Amelia nodded, trying to support her trainer, even though she had no idea at all what on earth he was talking about.
"So join me! Just imagine it, you three, your former leader, me, Ace, Amelia, Hawk, an unstoppable force soaring through the skies! You guys will be huge, evolved, powerful! People around the world will love and respect us! All you have to do is join me!"
After waiting a moment for his words to sink in Zac pulled out two great balls and two repeat balls. Throwing one great ball at the leader, Zac then placed the two repeatballs in front of the stronger two, then the other greatball in front of the derptastic one.
Unable to do anything else, Zac waited, curious to see if any or all of these flyers would actually end up joining him.

::pidgeotto:: Level 15, Male Attacks: Tackle, Sand-attack, Gust, Quick Attack Personality: Hates electric types. Very violent and very aggressive. Right hand man Note: He might join in if the leader asks, but that's it. Uses Whirlwind on Amelia--> forced switchout |
::pidgeotto::
Level 12, Male Attacks: Tackle, Sand-attack, Gust Personality: Hates electric types. Very violent and very aggressive. Refuses to join, uses Gust on Togekiss to avenge their leader
|
The Pidgeotto leader was hit with the Great Ball, and to his strongest follower's surprise, he was captured. This didn't help Zac's case, even if he boldly declared himself the leader of the skies. Their eyes twitched until the second strongest one kicked up a strong whirlwind at the Pikachu, sick of seeing her after her impressive battle. He would have none of it, and he had a strong desire to knock Zac off of his pedestal. The other Pidgeotto wasn't strong enough to use Whirlwind, but he could use a Gust on the Togekiss that happened to be out and about.
<We won't back down!> The second in command cried, absolutely denying the repeat balls that were offered. His violent nature was showing again, and he vowed to get his leader out of that trap sphere. The other nodded in agreement, cawing in anger at their foes.
The fourth one finally flew up to the top of the waterfall, panting from the race with the Gligar. He chirped happily, giving the others a peace sign. <I...did it. I beat the Gligar.> He panted, oblivious as to what was going on until he saw gusts of wind heading his way. He gulped and flew higher, avoiding getting involved in the friendly fire.
::pidgeotto:: Level 10, Male Attacks: Tackle, Sand-attack, Gust Personality: Hates electric types. Very violent and very aggressive. Back up

A small sigh escaped Zac as the trio of rebel pidgeotto bluntly denied him, going so far as to attack his Pokémon. Hurt, and a little offended, Zac retried the three untouched pokeballs, as well as the one of his newly caught Pokémon. Despite himself the young trainer broke out into a big grin. His first Pokémon on each route had been a bird Pokémon. He'd caught a Demonic Pillow on route one, and now on route two a zombie. Would evil black dragon man steal this too? Certainly it would confirm his theory that that man was on the side of the Necromancers. In fact, he was probably their leader! Yes, none other than the dreaded Lich King himself!
While Zac stood rooted in place, imagining the epic battles he could have against the forces of evil, the rest of his Pokémon were busy with the sudden onslaught of aggression.
Having been flying around excitedly, the sudden gust caught Ace completely unaware, sending him tumbling back through the air. Though he struggled to maintain flight, he was still a little too inexperienced, ultimately hitting the ground.
Climbing to his feet a pale blue light surrounded Ace, one which hadn't been seen since he was a little togepi. Waving his wings side to side, Ace focused on the would be attacker. As he did so a move suddenly sprung to mind, one which was absurd for a bird to perform, but one he could easily manage.
Charging forward, Ace did the only thing a real man could do when insulted like this, settle it with his fists. With a bold battle cry, and lightning cackling around his...er...wing tip, Ace swung his wing at his attacker in his best version of an uppercut.
It was only as Amelia was forced back into her pokeball that Zac snapped out of his trance like state. It wasn't because he felt a sense of duty to his team, that he was angry, or even in awe of Ace's unusual move choice. No, Zac only realized things were still going on when the whirlwinds secondary effect kicked in, and the pokeball of his newly caught pidgeotto burst open in his hands.
With a startled yelp Zacariah fell on his rear, wide eyed as the weak but enraged bird burst from it's pokeball in what Zac could only assume was an act of dark magic.
As he gazed around, a look of bloodlust in his eyes, the pidgeotto searched for the pikachu which had captured him. To be defeated by a rat of all things! His kind ate rodents for breakfast, yet he had lost to one. Humiliated in front of his so called friends, he eventually settled his gaze on his new trainer.
<You. You did this to me!> the bird snapped, almost shaking with anger. <When i'm through with you, you'll wish I'd just are your brains!>
"Can't we just be friends?" Zac cried even as the weakened bird attempted a quick attack, which simply resulted in its wings almost giving out on it, leaving it no choice but to abort the attack.
Blinking in surprise, Zac just stared as the pidgeotto abruptly stopped middive, pulling up at the last moment and just...flying straight passed. Within moments the exhausted bird was out of its bewildered trainers sight.
<What am I going to do? Oh I just found a trainer, someone who'll raise me to be King of the Skies, and already i've screwed it up! Oh, i'm so useless...> Hawk muttered, staring bleakly at his reflection in the lakes water.
Since his foolhardy race against that bird, the young gligar had been trapped here at the base of the falls, listening glumly to the exciting and epic sounds drifting down from atop the falls. Abandon, lost, things possibly couldn't get any worse.
<World, if i'm really supposed to go with that trainer, give me some signal, some sign that i'm on the right path!> he shouted in frustration, clawed pincers extending skywards, eyes looking up towards the bright noon sun...or at least that had been the plan. With a muffled cry of horror, Hawk looked up only to see what looked like the boss pidgeotto falling straight towards him, back first. Confused, the purpley pink creature just stood there, as the flying type Pokémon collided with him head on.
Hit by whirlwind, recalled.sent out! Hit by Gust, Critical Hit!Ace used Metronome! Used Thunderpunch!

<I'll take care of this thing, you find the leader!> The weaker level 12 Pidgeotto exclaimed as their leader emerged from the Pokeball and flew off. The Togekiss was coming his way with more electricity, and instantly he felt a strong amount of hate towards him. It was an electric type too, the brat!
As he was punched in the gut, he wheezed desperately for breath. It was terrible to endure it, but he had to. For his leader's sake. He flew higher and tried to tackle the Togekiss, and to his surprise, the weakest of the now trio was mimicking him. <Sup!> Derp bird cried as he tried to charge at the giant plane.
<Boss! Bosssss! Yo bossss!> The second in command started to fly around the falls, but he was having a hard time seeing what was what with all of the water spraying everywhere. His keen eyes tried to trace their location, and as he flew lower to the ground he finally saw him. On top of something purpley and pink, nonetheless. <Oh gosh, boss. Are you ok? Can you get up? What's this thing doing under you?> He asked all at once, over reacting a little.
ooc: Flying types aren't resistant to flying type moves~
