I keep dreaming you'll be with me and you'll never go~ Sōjun Kuchiki ~ Stop breathing if I don't see you anymore “...Title me as Nibbles and I will bite you from your arm to your shoulder,” he snarled, but then calmed down quickly. “I am unsure of a name. Perhaps Carvan will do for now. We can decide later.” Sōjun nodded and reached into his pocket. He had something special for his first Pokémon; an item that his own mother had given him before he’d left. A good luck charm, she’d said, one that would help him to bond quickly to his Pokémon. Feeling for the button, he held it before the Piranha and pressed it to his forehead. The red beam engulfed the Water Pokémon and the ball rocked three times before sealing him inside. Once the capture had been completed, Sōjun released him back out into waiting arms, and deposited the shiny black Luxury Ball into his robe pocket once more.
“Thank you for all of your assistance. I still don’t have your name, though,” Sōjun smiled and then reached out, patting Ray’s shoulder before leaning down and burying his hand in Arcy’s. Carvan snapped his jaws against the air in a gruff ‘thanks’. “Thank you very much, Arcy. I hope we meet again!” With that, and his new Pokémon content to lie silently in his arms, Sōjun walked toward where wind flowed through the tent and felt his way outside, his heart filled with excitement and hope. This would be a new journey for the blind man, and an interesting one at that!
After leaving the Ranger Base, Sōjun made his way down the path to Route One, using the crunching of pebbles beneath his feet as indication that he was on the right track. Carvanha would occasionally bark a warning at him if he was going to step in a hole or something, or trip over the root of a tree. They talked about everything and nothing, really, just going over their life stories in an effort to bond better. The Luxury ball had made things a lot easier between the two, and often one would laugh at another’s attempt at a joke.
‘This is better than I thought,’ Carvanha thought, a sly grin on his face as his tamer recounted a tale where he’d wandered into a frozen Pokémon den and been unable to find his way home for a day. “I beat that,” he jibed swiftly, “Once I drifted into another group of Carvanha. Nobody even noticed me at first. It was only when...” Sōjun chuckled as he continued the tale. Yes, this would be a very interesting journey... Suddenly the blind man halted with a sneaky grin on his face.
“My my,” he called obnoxiously loudly, his hand lifting to his mouth, “It's so quiet, it makes one wonder if any Pokémon live here!” “What the hell are you doing!?” Carvanha hollered quickly at his tamer short-temperedly, “Are you trying to attract a hive of Beedrill to us?” “Now, now,” Sōjun patted the fish’s head gently, “I’m just trying to find out if anything lives here.” “WHAT'S THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN!?” “Well we want more Pokémon for our little moving party, don’t we?” Carvanha’s jaw dropped open slightly and he silenced himself.
“Bastard,” he growled quietly through clenched teeth, the Carvanha’s face set in a permanent scowl, eyes slanted forward. “Oh!” Sōjun quickly smiled, “How about Ace?” “What?” “Your name. How about Ace?” Carvanha sighed, but found that he did like the name somewhat. It sounded like it was for a Pokémon that was strong and short, yet fast and able to lead. “Fine,” Ace grumbled, “But don’t start complaining to me if a Weedle stings your ass because you started shouting.”

Ah, the nature of fate loves to mess with people. Just as the floating fish said something about Weedle two came out of the bushes. However, they were very different from your normal Weedle.
<Say bro, what should we do today? We just got kicked from that tea party for no reason.> The one said. A sad frown etched on his face. The older brother frowned as well and tilted his head. <Gee bro, I dunno. It's not like we did anything bad or anything. Wasn't my fault the candles were close to the table cloths and they caught on fire.> He said. The two seemed sad. Being kicked from a tea party. As they walked down the route they talked and talk. However, when they came to Ace, the one stopped dead in his tracks and fear was shown on his face.
The older brother walked right past Ace, not even knowing he was there. He turned back and looked at the younger one. What was he staring at? He waddled back and looked at his brother intensely. <Gee bro, what are ya lookin' at?> He asked, completely unaware of the Pokémon before them. The younger brother said nothing, his jaw hanged low as he stared at Ace in fear.

I keep dreaming you'll be with me and you'll never go~ Sōjun Kuchiki ~ Stop breathing if I don't see you anymoreSharp blood-hued irises locked onto the two Weedle as they approached. Ace seemed to glare at them, his expression growing increasingly agitated and almost insanely irritated as one Weedle passed by his tamer, who had tilted his head in order to better hear the voices that echoed about him. One of the Weedle – the brother of the one that had just passed them by – stopped and started to stare at the piranha, jaw dropping in what Ace could only identify as fear. Sōjun remained silent but comfortingly clutched the fish tighter to him as Ace’s pectoral fins started to twitch. It was possible that Ace’s natural instincts were starting to kick in.
Releasing one hand from Ace’s side to pick up the Pokédex from his bag, he angled it to the area where the last voice had sounded and flicked it open. As he listened to the voice-activated device provide information about the Weedle, Ace leered at the Weedle that stared at him. Even so, the fear that the Bug type showed made him feel more powerful, but he hated the fact that it just continued to stare at him as though it were a deer standing before the glaring headlights of an eighteen-wheeler. Ace, forcing himself to stay calm, moved his head up so not to bite Sōjun as he spoke.
“He’s looking at me,” he said bluntly but carefully, his caudal fin flicking back and forth as if swimming through a current at leisure. Deep down, Ace did not want to battle two opponents at one time should it come to it. Carvanha were Pack Pokémon, and being without others in his former school made him a bit hesitant and timid. Eyeing the younger one he requested, “Do you mind? I don’t appreciate being stared at.”
“Weedle...?” Sōjun repeated the name given, putting the Pokédex away and crouching down, his chin held up slightly in curiosity. “Hello there,” he smiled weakly at the poison types, “Are you both alright? If you’re hungry or thirsty, I can give you some berries to eat for free. I don’t mind. Oh, please don’t be afraid of Carvanha. He doesn’t bite.”
Ace smiled jokingly and added, “Much. I just like tearing boat hulls apart to be honest. I find it fun.” His eyes gleamed mischievously but there was no hint of malice there. “Just don’t hurt my tamer and I won’t bite you. We clear?”
Ace leered at the younger Weedle accidentally

He felt his segments quiver involuntarily. A slight fear had set in, and his guard fell as a result.
While the younger brother didn't want to- or rather was sharp enough not to- cause trouble, the same couldn't be said for his elder sibling.
Even though his younger brother was smarter than him, he was younger and, as a result, weaker, and the older Bug Type naturally felt a protective instinct.
And so a less than intelligent outburst that could easily have been avoided came to be.
>Hey hey hey!< he said, after stepping back a little so that he could actually SEE the Carvanha. >Don't bully my little brother!< And with that, the older Weedle lowered his head, barb pointed at the other Pokemon.

I keep dreaming you'll be with me and you'll never go~ Sōjun Kuchiki ~ Stop breathing if I don't see you anymoreCarvanha wasn’t sure how he was “bullying” the younger Weedle exactly. He’d only stared at it, so what was the issue? Unable to see the problem, the duel type glared with growing anger at the older brother, his slavering jaws parting slightly in a growl, body shaking with the urge to attack. Perhaps the Carvanha wasn’t aware that he’d leered at the other Weedle. To him, his normal face, which was etched into a permanent angry-looking scowl, was just that. Normal.
“WHAT THE HELL!?” Ace howled suddenly, causing Sōjun to jump up urgently. Ace’s face was contorted with anger, his jaw twisted and hanging open to reveal rows of sharp teeth. “What do you mean bully your little brother? What do you think I am?”
“Now now, no need to get angry. I’m sure we can work this out.” Sōjun attempted to soothe the piranha, smiling in an awkwardly jovial manner, but his attempt to break up any incoming fight simply caused Ace to get even worse. The fish growled loudly and Sōjun fell silent, and then sighed. It didn’t look as though Ace was going to calm down. What was it that the Pokédex had said? That Carvanha were timid and shy when alone? So why wasn’t Ace backing down?
“Don’t you start with that negotiation crap, Sōjun!” Ace snapped at Sōjun, though he felt guilty for it when the blind man frowned. ‘Damn it, what’s with this guy?’ “I’m trying to protect you here!”
“Protect me?” A flicker of confusion graced his sightless blue eyes. Since when had he agreed to be protected? Having known the Carvanha for only about half an hour, he contemplated if he'd asked at any time for a guardian. The answer was no, simply, and the Kuchiki felt a bit disturbed. He could take care of himself. “I don’t need protection, Ace.”
“Idiot!” Oh dear. “Shut up, Sōjun! Jeez!” It seemed as though this Carvanha was stubborn and impulsive. The stubborn part explained why Ace wasn’t acting like the Pokédex said he would, but then again it was a machine. It wasn’t perfect, right?
Ace, who had taken the sign of aggression from the older Weedle as a challenge, glared down at the poison type and prepared himself to defend his tamer if necessary.

The older Weedle was getting extremely worried and protective when the Carvanha started raging and making violent comments from his human's arms. Unable to contain himself any longer, the emotional Weedle sprayed out a String Shot at the fish's fins to try and keep it away from the pair. The younger brother looked confused, staring at the older one then at the Carvanha. What was going on, a battle?!
<When I'm through with you, you'll regret ever meeting a Weedle. I'm just so upset I could explode!> The older Weedle had a mini tantrum, tearing up because he was so ticked off at this fish. Right as he was about to fire a poison sting, the younger one got confused and decided to 'help' right then.
He fired off a String Shot at his brother, successfully stopping the poisonous move to be made. <AWW. I MISSED.> The younger one whined as the older one grunted and struggled to stand up again. As soon as he did, he glared right back at fish face.

I keep dreaming you'll be with me and you'll never go~ Sōjun Kuchiki ~ Stop breathing if I don't see you anymore
"And what's that supposed to mean, huh?" Ace jeered, smiling mischievously. "Don't tell me, you're gonna cry to your mother?"
Sōjun sidestepped the brunt of the String Shot, having heard the spitting sound that accompanied it only moments before. Even so, he wasn’t quick enough: Threads of string pooled over Sōjun’s shoulder from the Weedle, making him stumble back against a tree blindly. Carvanha could hear his tamer’s heart speed up within his chest and his eyes glittered darkly. Oh, now it was on! “Looks to me like you need protection,” Ace sneered, a smile tugging at his lips as he hurled himself from Sōjun’s arms and towards the younger Weedle. At the moment, the intellectually impaired elder sibling seemed to be screwing up his own brother’s chance for victory. Usually a Pokémon would be grateful for the advantage, yet Ace wasn’t pleased at all.
“Keep out of it!” He snapped to the older brother. Behind him Sōjun was pulling the sticky strands of silk from his clothing, having managed to pull it from his hair. Ace would have his balls for this one. Moments after claiming he didn’t really need protecting, he gets partially covered in string.
“Ace, use Bite!”
As he lunged towards the younger, leering as he plummeted through the air, his jaw set and locked firmly in place to chow down on the poison type’s back. If it worked, he’d probably clamp down and throw the youngest under him as he landed. Well Carvanha couldn’t fly! So when he would hit the ground again, it might cause a bit of pain if his plan succeeded. He might just end up biting the Weedle and not being able to carry out with his plan at all.

<I'LL JUST DO SOMETHING. You'll regret it! You all will!> The younger one whined at the Carvahna's taunts, clearly upset that he was being picked on so much. He started to crawl closer to the fish, but he was a bit surprised that the blind man was pushed back by something as weak as string. He wasn't like a string cannon or anything; all fear the giant yarn ball! Haha, no way. This human was pathetic, though he felt bad that happened.
The teeth chomped down on him after being scared by the Leer, and the older one started to get nervous. <Stop hurrrrrting him!> The eldest one cried, firing a Poison Sting at the Carvahna at the same time the younger one used his Poison Sting on the fish. Except he moved right into the line of fire of the older one, so he got hit instead!
<Ow! Ow! Ow! Come on, stop that!> The younger one whined, still furious at the fish for being so mean and cruel and all that good stuff. The eldest one stopped right away, lowering his head and apologizing for his mistake.

I keep dreaming you'll be with me and you'll never go~ Sōjun Kuchiki ~ Stop breathing if I don't see you anymore
Poisonous darts snapped against his scales, but didn’t quite go deep enough to cause poison this turn. Ace, who was now angry at being hit, wondered what exactly his tamer was doing just standing there brushing stuff off his shoulder. Sōjun was probably laid back, almost carefree, which surprised the fish somewhat. Perhaps not, though. They hadn’t known each other for that long.
“Hey!” Ace snapped sharply, “What is with you? How the hell are you hitting your own brother?” It didn’t make sense, unless the eldest brother was a complete and utter dumbfuck who needed to get laid. ‘Actually,’ Ace mentally noted, ‘Please don’t let it reproduce.’ One was bad enough. Two was pushing it. Any more than that and the world was fucked beyond saving. At least the younger brother could fight straight, which made it a lot more interesting.
“Ace, use Leer and Bite again.” Sōjun finally said, recovered and clean from his accidental stumble. The string had startled him and he’d stepped back onto a root, which sent him falling back into a tree. Eh, it happened. From what it sounded like, though, one of the Weedle was starting to fight but was hitting its own ally? What was this about then? Ace leered at the younger one and hopped forward, having a feeling that the Weedle was going to dodge the attack. Perhaps it was on impulse, but he just had a feeling.

The youngest of the Weedle was having trouble dealing with this situation, but hey! At least his Poison Sting was making its marks on the feisty shark. He smirked in satisfaction, wiping away some of his tears of frustration and butthurt as he took in the look of the injured Pokemon's face. He did that. He was the one making the pain happen.
He was the skilled one that--<Argh!> the Weedle got blasted with more string and poisonous stingers as the older one started to squirm around on the battlefield. <Did I get him? Did I get him?> He asked, ignoring the Carvanha's comment as he tried to look for the attacking fish.
<No! You got me again you goon!> The youngest cried, then was suddenly bit on the rear. Oh gosh, he was getting tired from all of this excitement. This was too much rough housing for his tastes! He fired off a poison sting at the water type in hopes of doing something to him, otherwise he was kind of screwed.

I keep dreaming you'll be with me and you'll never go~ Sōjun Kuchiki ~ Stop breathing if I don't see you anymore
Seriously, the older sibling trying to protect his family and ending up fighting against his own ally was making Ace feel very annoyed. Should he switch targets and attack the older Weedle? The thought crossed his mind, but he decided against it almost immediately. If he went for the older Weedle, he might end up being attacked by two Pokémon at once. The younger Weedle was already beginning to weaken, and that was good, he noted, because if he took out the first then he could try and take out the second. But that provided an extremely high risk of being poisoned.
Sōjun was standing at the edge of the battlefield, his ears attuned to the sound of brushing foliage and voices. The Weedle interested him mildly, and he wondered what it would be like to have a Beedrill on his team, yet he was unsure. The Weedle had a brother, and he couldn’t split them up. No, he’d find something else. A rush of air sounded and nothing else, and Sōjun’s pulse spiked momentarily.
“Ace! Move!” The fish, who had been lodged in his thoughts, snapped to attention just in time to see the attack spiralling at him. With a hiss, he flopped to the ground, needles embedded in his sides and a scowl etched across his face. “Ace, are you alright?” A muffled ‘yes’, and Sōjun relaxed slightly. Hopefully that was the case. Ace, however, was feeling edgy. That last attack hadn’t quite been a critical hit, but still he had felt something beneath his scales, almost like a pin prick. Perhaps he wasn’t as ‘alright’ as he thought. Without hesitation, he repeated the two moves that had last been used on the Weedle and steeled himself for whatever was next to come.

The Weedle was really in for it now! <Stop attacking! It'll be better for both of us!> The younger one whined, staring at the older one in total complaint about the situation. The eldest gulped and bowed down, apologizing for being a screw up, but he accidentally sprayed some Poison Sting at his brother while talking. <Ow! Ow! Ow! Brother, I'm hurting!> He whined, crawling away from his naive brother and closer to the Bite attack.
<Oh hey, watch out!> The eldest cried, actually seeing the bite coming. The youngest looked up and got bit in the face. It hurt, like by a lot. He shuddered with weakness, but he managed to cough up an attack to meet the mean fishy.
Fire! The youngest fired another wave of dramatic and very purple Poison Sting at the Carvanha, trying to take care of business the only way he knew how. He was tired and weak, but he could defend himself sort of.

I keep dreaming you'll be with me and you'll never go~ Sōjun Kuchiki ~ Stop breathing if I don't see you anymore
Ace stared incredulously. Alright, now the expression of fail was clearly visible over his face, and he shook his head, slapping a fin over his forehead in a face-fin. Jesus. This battle was just full of fuckups. This time, he rolled out of the way as the Poison Sting shot past his side, grazing his fin but not enough to hurt him. With not enough time to do anything else, he impulsively tried to bite the Weedle again, his jaw locked tight and razor sharp teeth glinting in the sun. A stab of pain shot through his side and he winced. That hadn’t happened before...
‘I wonder what will happen when Ace has beaten this Weedle,’ Sōjun wondered. Plucking the Pokédex from his bag, the Trainer flicked open the lid and waited until he heard the beep. “What level will Carvanha learn it’s next move from level five?” He was curious, and even more so when the Pokédex responded that it would learn Rage at the next level given. Rage sounded like it would be a particularly aggressive move – no duh, considering the name.
Apparently Rage was a move that let the user build its attack. However, it seemed as though it would also cause the user to grow in anger. Usually it was Sōjun’s experience that rage summoned ignorance and aggression. How Ace would channel his anger out was something that he found himself concerned about now, and frowned slightly at the realisation. In all honesty, he didn’t want the Carvanha to learn that move. But it seemed inevitable. Carvanha seemed to obey his commands for the moment, but what if he had to attack at the last possible moment? He bit his lip mildly anxiously. He didn’t want that. Well, Ace might not get a full level for the Weedle, right? There was still a chance...

(Speed -2, Defense -2) lv 5 - Male Shield Dust Poison Sting - String Shot Tad bit smarter then the older brother. Has a little bit of common sense. Hit with Bite and String Shot, Fainted+1 Level to Carvanha lv 6 - Male Shield Dust Poison Sting - String Shot Stupid. Can't see things that are right under his nose. Ends up attacking his brother every turn. Accidentally hit his brother with String Shot
The young one groaned loudly, audibly upset. "Come on brother!" He tried to encourage his family member to try harder and maybe even do something useful. He was worming foreword, obviously ready to dodge the vicious bite attack from the monstrous fish. He jumped up into the air, he would have easily been able to glide off to the side... if his brother didn't trip him up with a String Shot. The younger brother was pulled back down to the ground by his own flesh and blood, and then the bite attack landed. The powerful hit was enough to instantly faint the younger weedle. His brother crawled foreword, unable to tell if he hit his brother or Carvannah. Both were pretty bright yellow.
"Hey... hey bro?" He called out, squinting his eyes to try and focus on the motionless shape on the ground.

I keep dreaming you'll be with me and you'll never go~ Sōjun Kuchiki ~ Stop breathing if I don't see you anymore The final bite took down the Weedle but only after the older brother had used String Shot to pull him out from the dodge. Ace, with poison streaking through his system, bounced away from the Weedle and lay on his belly on the ground, feeling weak from the attacks. He drew in a quivering breath as the poison continued to tame him and winced as a shadow flickered over him – a hand...? He wasn’t sure. He felt tired and his eyes fell shut as a set of hands grabbed him gently. He should have been more careful...
~~~~~
When he started to regain consciousness once more, it was early morning. Ace wasn’t really sure how long he’d been out. Now he was on his side, a robe beneath him acting as a makeshift futon, one sleeve wrapped over his tail to keep him warm. Stiff aches kept him still and he groaned mentally in slight pain as a set of hands glided over his body in a massage. Lavender oil was pressed against him and the scent was heavenly to the piranha, which made his mouth water with hunger. His belly growled and he shifted an aching fin back to blink open an eye.
Sōjun was leaning over him with a concerned frown on his face, which quickly turned to pleasure when Ace shifted and coiled up to gaze curiously at his tamer. The aftertaste of berry was on his tongue. “How the hell...?”
“I told you I can get about by myself,” Sōjun purred with satisfaction in his tone. “Now just relax. You’re not fully healed yet. You’ve been out for quite some time, in fact. I went out when you were resting and picked up a friend!” Ace blinked in confusion and then stared in wonder as an Omanyte appeared from behind Sōjun. The Omanyte stared at him and looked toward Sōjun before crawling over to the Carvanha and settling down at the end of the ‘futon’. “Her name is Lexi.”
“Nice to meet you,” Ace extended a sharp fin as a handshake. Lexi simply stared at it before reaching forward with her own tentacle and shaking it with the Carvanha. He wouldn’t be able to fight for a bit – until his muscles relaxed and he could move without pain – but surely Lexi would be able to protect his tamer... Even if she was a shitload of years older than he was.
There was nothing else to it. He was trapped. The oddish couldn't believe something like this could happen. He blamed this completely on that lotad. It was probably that terrible water type that made him sink into the ground while he was taking a nap. What else could have happened? The pokemon tried to wriggle himself out of the ground but his lower half was completely stuck, leaving only its grassy appendages moving around quite frantically.
This was the last time he was going to take a nap anywhere close to a water pokemon. As soon as he got himself free, he would make that lotad pay dearly.
I keep dreaming you'll be with me and you'll never go~ Sōjun Kuchiki ~ Stop breathing if I don't see you anymore Lexi eyed the Carvanha curiously and, after shaking his fin, hid in her shell and curled her tentacles around herself. After being fossilised for many, many years, it was no doubt that Lexi would be a bit uncertain about what the customs were. Perhaps she retained knowledge of her own traditions and rituals? The thought of learning about the past from someone that had actually been there seemed very interesting. But Lexi had only just, in a sense, been reborn. It would be better to let her settle in first. She seemed a bit anxious about her new surroundings.
While Sōjun was a good listener, the dancing blades of grass that were rooted into the grass type sounded no different than ordinary foliage. While he could catch that it was shifting more than the others, he paid little mind to it. As the Oddish tried to escape his earthy prison, Sōjun picked up Ace and, pulling up the bottom of the kimono and taking off his socks and sandals, lowered the dark type into the water to rehydrate him. Carvanha seemed to instinctively shift his fins against the current, dipping down slightly as though he wanted to wriggle free and swim upstream, but Sōjun had a feeling that the Carvanha wasn’t quite strong enough for that yet.
Lexi approached the water and eyed it, feeling slightly hesitant before splashing in and sinking straight to the bottom where she blended right in. Almost immediately, air filled her hollow shell and she resurfaced with a disgusted look on her face, and crawled out onto the banks again. Ugh! Memories of her “past life” were starting to return to her and she could remember that in the distant past, the seas were amazingly pure. This river water was nothing but dust and foul tasting! Were humans tainting the waters?
Minutes later when Ace started to feel better, Sōjun pulled the fish out from the water and lay him back down on the futon to warm him up and let him sleep for a bit. Lexi, curious as to what Sōjun was doing, coiled around herself a short distance away, eyeing the man. Sōjun was pulling a knife from the folds of his indigo robes as well as a block of wood. Ace glared at the blade and then started to writhe on the futon. “H- Hey! What’re you doing?”
“Calm down,” Sōjun smiled at the fish, placing the objects down to feel the fish’s sides. Ace started shouting, demanding to know what Sōjun was going to do with that knife, and Sōjun couldn’t help but chuckle. It only went on to make the fish even more unnerved. “Come on, Ace, relax. If you keep yelling you’re going to hurt yourself. If you’re quiet for a moment then I’ll tell you what I’m going to do.” Ace fell uneasily silent. “I have a hobby where I like to carve things out of wood. I’ve been meaning to make a little model of you, in fact. I just need to get a feel of you before I can start.” And so Sōjun started carving a Carvanha out of wood, flicking little bits away every now and again as Ace slowly fell asleep...
The Oddish let out a groan. Wasn't there someone out there that would help him? Honestly now, he was stuck more that Aunt Betty after thanksgiving, and that was saying a lot. This mud was also starting to stick to his body too, and that stuff really doesn't come out easy!
>Hello?< He yelled up, hoping to catch someone's attention. >Someone get over here and help me!< There was more panic in his voice at this point, and he couldn't help but let out a wail after. He was scared! How was he going to get out?
I keep dreaming you'll be with me and you'll never go~ Sōjun Kuchiki ~ Stop breathing if I don't see you anymore Sōjun was focused intently on the wood carving he was creating, so he didn’t hear the Oddish. But Lexi did. The Omanyte strayed from the group and headed to the Oddish’s location, and stared at the dancing weed. She knew it was probably a Pokémon, but she didn’t know what to do. What would Sōjun do, she wondered? At this point in time, Sōjun was practically her guide. Yet she still wasn’t sure what she was meant to do.
So rather than help out the Oddish, the uncertain Omanyte simply left him there to do whatever it was he was doing. She crept back to Sōjun and sat beside him silently, observing the curves as he shaped the wood into what looked like a circle on a weird pedestal. Were those going to be waves, she wondered as he left the pedestal alone and started thinning out what seemed to be a fin. Odd human behaviour, she deemed it, and glanced around idly. Oh well. She’d just have to wait until he decided to start travelling again.
Sōjun would have lent assistance to the Oddish had he heard, but continued to go about carving ace, recording his history on the blind man’s team. As Ace slept, occasionally he would glide his hand over rough skin to get a feel of the shapes and texture required, and adjusted the model accordingly. He enjoyed carving, though he wasn’t perfect at it. Occasionally he would make something too big or small, yet he felt that this time it would be different. He was putting extra care into his work this time...
