[STYLE=border-bottom: 5px solid #FFC7FF;] [/style] The sentret was glad her attack had hit, but she was definitely on the verge of being defeated even as she wanted to make this minccino go down with her. The battle was almost too prolonged thanks to the fact there was so many bruises welling up on the sentret's body from this battle. Being pounded so hard really left her exhausted and wanting to just lie down on the ground in submission for them to abuse her body as they saw fit. Oh yeah, baby, you read that right, but anyways, the sentret was starting to feel her body give in a little. This was not the time to quit, and she wasn't about to give up either. Prowling on all fours now as she let out a loud mewl that was meant to shiver all the bones in the Pokémon and her trainer. The reaction wasn't bad, but the execution was delayed as she realized a pound hit her straight on the noggin. It hurt like hell as the sentret seemed to roll over on all fours, hands holding her head in place, as mewlita decided to just take a time out for a minute. Obviously in a little bit of pain from that hit, and it had hurt more than normal for some reason. Did that minccino strike a critical area on her or not? As she stood up and tried to hold back the tears of pain she merely flinched a little as she soon raised a paw at the pokemon, and shook it at the minccino. You'll pay for messing up my fur further! she yelled out and was soon prancing towards the minccino, running on all fours to try striking a nasty quick attack to the minccino's side now as she had used a defense curl first too. ::sentret:: level 7 ( f ) "mewlita" runaway & keen eye quick attack . defense curl . foresight . scratch thinks she's a cat - overuses the word mew - tries to be seductive, but gets all the mens Hit by Growl and Pound! Even Mewlita seemed to have a good amount of stamina built up, providing a very interestingly even match between the two battling Pokémon. Even as Shannon landed one more Pound attack on the Sentret, the little Mewlita was still able to shake off the pain inflicted enough to charge in and retaliate. Shannon tried to run out of the Sentret's path. She couldn't pull her entire body out of the way in time, being tripped up by the full body charge, and sent barrel rolling to the frosty ground.
Shannon struggled to pick herself up. She could feel the pain inflicted from Mewlita's attacks start to weigh her body down. Her muscles had gotten to be heavy. She couldn't believe that that Sentret was getting her on the ropes. I have to... get up... for my Mistress...! She struggled mightily, but she was able to at least push her body off the snow by doing a push up with her tail assisting from behind, her backside turned to the Sentret. Using her tail to balance herself, she was able to return to a vertical base again. She was starting to slump over, becoming quick of breath. Fatigue had set in, looking towards her Mistress to see what she would instruct her to do next.
Fianna's level of anxiety rose with the way that Shannon's body fell to the ground, and even as she had difficulty getting back onto her feet again. The way that things were going, he was tempted to try to end the battle himself. If only he could stop his body from shaking so badly...
Broski wasn't completely healthy at the moment either. That wasn't going to stop him from trying to help his trainer realize that there were more important things to do than feel sympathetic towards Shannon, who was doing everything within her power just to continue fighting for him. "Sisbro! She needs your help more than ever now!" Startled by the forcefulness within his Buizel's voice, he looked down at Broski with a scared expression. No choice now, he had to get him to see beyond the moment of peril before Fianna became a scary person again. "Sisbro, listen! You have to be a big sisbro now and use an item from your bag to give Shannon a chance to rest," he said, pointing to the bag that was on the ground near them.
"Mistress... I can still fight...," Shannon struggled to say, watching as her Mistress sifted through her bag to see what he could use. He could see some spray bottles, some balls, some berries, and some other random items in there altogether. He wasn't completely sure, under the duress of the present circumstances, which items there were for healing a Pokémon's health, aside from the Sitrus Berry that was there. Though, after hearing Shannon's voice, he grabbed the first thing he could get his hand on and hurried over to his Minccino. "Stop, Shannon! I've got a-"
At that moment when he looked to see what he had pulled out, it turned out to be one of the many Balls that were in there. This particular Ball was shaded pink on top, different than the Balls that the Ranger had given to him. Maybe...just, maybe... Maybe catching Mewlita will put an end to this fighting before Shannon gets hurt again..!
Shannon was mostly confused to see the Ball in her Mistress's hand, as was Broski. "You're... going to attempt a capture, Mistress...?" Fianna looked over at Shannon, then back down at the ball, and then looked over at the Minccino again. He felt as though there wasn't much of an option right now, not thinking completely straight. "I want to try to end this battle before you get hurt again...," said Fianna, standing next to the exhausted Minccino and gauging the target Sentret to see how far he'd have to chuck the ball.
Shannon would have liked to protest against her Mistress's decision to go for the capture of the Sentret. But, at the same time, as her servant, she really had no say trying to sway her Mistress's judgement. She had no choice but to accept her Mistress's decision as she intended it - as a way to try to end the battle sooner, rather than later. "Mistress...," was all that she could mutter, understanding that she was being placed on standby for this turn.
Meanwhile, Broski looked through Fianna's bag to see if the trainer really had some healing items he could make use of, in case the attempted capture failed.
Fianna held the ball in front of him and took a few paces forward. No doubt that he was nervous, just thinking about what he was about to do. Thinking about Shannon's state of well-being was the only thing pushing him forward to go through with all of this. He tried to look as serious as he could, at the Sentret. "I'm going to capture you, okay??" he said to Mewlita, pressing the button in the center of the Love Ball and pulling his hand behind his back. With as much force as he could muster, he shot his arm all the way forward, flicking his wrist to release the Ball just past the highest point of his arm's parabolic motion. He only hoped that there was enough momentum on the throw to push the Ball all the way towards Mewlita... [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true] (Shannon ) |

[STYLE=border-bottom: 5px solid #FFC7FF;] [/style] Well, this was a turn of events, but watching the pokemon converse didn't take her completely off guard...oh yes, she was planning something, what it was was something very evil. Purring towards the trainer and his pokemon, she only had eyes for him. Batting her eyes gently towards the trainer again, and then merely speaking for the other two, Oh my big guy, going to flirt with me by throwing your balls at me? I might faint.. she said to him. Perhaps this was a bit vulgar, but did the sentret really say that. "Mewlita" as she was known, did have her way with the guys and the seductive swerves she pulled off just then were meant for pokemon not human males in general. Suddenly she was trying to determine if she wanted to get caught, but she was focused more on the minccino that pounded her head earlier. Even as she was about to start another sentence the pokeball clonked her in the face and then bounced back as the red light came around her soothing her entire body in the red goop. Then she was suddenly brought inside the pokeball and she was trying to pound on it from the inside to be let out. Of course, she was weak, and unable to fight too much as the pokeball rocked once. Another punch, then twice, and then three times as the ball suddenly clicked into place. Joyous trumpeting noise would not be heard as it was caught and the sentret seemed to finally just give in to join this succulent trainer's team. She was going to rape him when he wasn't looking though if he wasn't careful.

The pink light blasting out of the ball surrounded Mewlita, like her entire body was on fire, then got forcefully sucked into the Ball. His heart rate skyrocketed, the tension of the Ball rocking back and forth on the snowy floor, anxiously awaiting to see if the Ball would be successful, causing his hands and face to sweat. It was as if time had slowed down, watching the Ball rock from side to side. One shake passed, causing the trainer's eyes to be as big as Poké Balls. The Ball rocked for a second time, feeling unable to exhale. His breath being held into the third time the Balled shifted from side to side. And then...
The Ball stopped moving. Fianna still had his breath held as he stared at the Love Ball to see if it was truly done rocking around. 30 seconds passed before Fianna finally exhaled and carefully approached the Ball. Broski came out from the bag, one of the trainer's Potions held between his paws. "Sisbro! You should use one of these-" He stopped, seeing Fianna with the Ball placed firmly in the palm of his hand. The trainer felt a quiet sense of pride from within, containing his excitement of successfully capturing a Pokémon for the very first time, where most others might be jumping for joy. It wasn't like he wasn't happy making his first real catch. Protecting Shannon was the entire reason for capturing Mewlita in the first place, and so he turned around and approached Shannon with the pink Ball still in his hand.
Shannon was down on one knee, back hunched. Fianna approached the Minccino and went down on one knee himself, placing his hand against the side of her face. Shannon, recognizing her Mistress's hand, rubbed her head against the open hand. "You performed splendidly. You deserve a nice, long time to rest...," he said, taking Shannon's Poké Ball, after placing Mewlita's Ball on his belt, and making her return inside of it. Before she completely disappeared inside of the Ball, she said, weakly smiling, "M...Mistress...thank you..."
Broski approached his trainer, in a very chipper mood. He could barely contain his excitement, and he wanted Fianna to be happier for what he did. "Bro, you did it! You finally caught a Pokémon, just like a pro, Sisbro! Hahahaha!" Fianna responded with just a tiny smile, reaching out to the Buizel and giving him a hug. He believed that he had saved Shannon's life more than the fact that he had a new Pokémon on his team as a direct result of his effort to save his Minccino from further harm. "It's not that big of a deal, Broski. I just did what any responsible trainer would have done to save their Pokémon from being hurt out there." Did I just hear him say that a first capture is "no big deal" to him!? Broski was offended to hear his trainer speak so little of such a memorable milestone. Yet still, he tried to keep his spirits high and not let it bother him that much. "Your first Pokémon capture should be something that you'll be able to remember for a long time, Sisbro."
Returning to the path, Fianna and Broski walked together for a little while. The trainer held a blanket around his body while he walked, trying to keep his body warm until he could find a decent enough spot where he could sit down and rest. That came in the form of a fallen tree that rested just off the path, surrounded by a couple of other 'living' trees. Fianna walked right off the beaten path, going through more snow, and called back, "Come, Broski. Let's sit down and rest for a short while." The Buizel followed the human to the tree and found a spot on the log to sit down on. Fianna used his hands to brush the snow off of the part of the log he wanted to sit on, sat down, then took out the other blankets that he had in his bag and wrapped them around various parts of his body. Broski, seeing the blankets, snuggled up under one of the blankets to keep himself warm too. Pokemon Encounter!
An ekans hissed angrily from within the log and quickly slithered out to find a human and his pet sitting on her home. <How dare you stop here, this is my land. Be gone with you or I will be forced to attack!> she threatened. Her tail rattled in agitation as she looked the intruders up and down. They were lucky she had given them a warning at all, normally she attacked first and then asked questions later.
But the two seemed to have already started to make themselves comfortable and this annoyed her. She snapped her jaws at them and released a jet of poison barbs towards the buizel, her patience practically non existent!

Fianna saw the plum-and-yellow-colored Rope-like creature looking his way, mouth agape. Broski also popped his head out of the blankets, looking at the Ekans. It shot a stream of needle-like bullets at them, in an attempt to shoo them away from what the Pokémon referred to as its 'home'. "SISBRO!" Broski yelped, doing the only thing he could do to try to save his friend from getting injured by the atack: jump into Fianna's face, causing the blankets to fly up, and the pair to tumble backwards into approximately two-and-a-half feet of snow as the trainer attempt to cry out of surprise was muffled. And, as if Arceus wanted some sort of comedic affect to amuse Him-or-Herself, the first two blankets fell back down beside them, with the third one falling right over the long hole that Fianna's body made behind the log.
Fianna felt the Arctic nip of the snow against his body once again, yet still had a face-full of Buizel as he panicked. He didn't have time to really stop and complain about how cold he was. Fianna had to pry the Buizel off of his face, and then gather up all the blankets as fast as he could. "L-L-L-L-Let's g-g-go, Buh-Buh-Broski!!" He had no intention of staying, even though he really just wanted to stay and rest for a while longer. He wasn't going to dispute with such a riled-up Pokémon over a little pit stop, even if the log didn't really belong to the wild Ekans. "Wuh-We can find a-a suh-suh-safer place to ruh-rest..!" the trainer's already somewhat feminine voice cracking a little bit as he shoved the blankets inside of his bag as quickly as he could and started slowly getting away from the log with the bag being carried in front of him. "Sisbro, wait..!" Broski said, trying to get the trainer's attention before he could get much further away. He was sure he could have battled the Ekans over its territorial claim, if his trainer wasn't so desperate for a place to just peacefully rest for a while. Broski climbed on top of the log again and shook his fist at the snake-like Pokémon. "You're lucky that you and I aren't meant to fight today, bro. Next time, your ass is grass, and that's a promise!"
Broski jumped off of the log, into some not-so-deep snow, and attempted to catch up with his trainer, who was dragging himself deeper into the wooded area as fast as his legs would allow him, instead of trying to find the path again. pokemon encounter ! the ekans actually felt infuriated that the people she was confronting were ignoring her! the purple snake lunged, however missed the buizel as the two, trainer and Pokémon? fled away from them. immediately she set after them, snarling like a dog caught in a trap. < my ass is what? > she hissed, tail lashing, sending poison jabs in the water-types direction. she spat towards them, trying to get their attention. < don't run away from me! who do you think you are?! > she hollered, long body slithering through the snow, leaving behind a faint trail where her body snaked around. it looked odd, seeing the snake chase the buizel. but hey, route one's always been pretty weird. deal with it.

It looked as though that Ekans wasn't going to let them be on their merry way just yet. She caught Broski especially by surprise, having thought that the snake-like Pokémon would have been content enough to have her 'home' to herself again. Another spray of the Ekans's Poison Sting was directed towards the Buizel, this time hitting him from behind. Broski, who was running on two feet, was was caught in mid-stride, the attack causing him to fall forward, exclaiming, "Gaaaack!"He was fortunate to not be feeling particularly ill after that attack, or else he wouldn't have gotten off the ground as fast as he did, when he saw his trainer stop and cry out, "BROSKI! Come on now!" When Fianna saw Broski get up off the snow, he could feel like he had the ability to move a little bit faster. A combination of testosterone and adrenaline took over, making it easier for the trainer to run in the not-so-deep snow there. Still content enough to run away, or at least buy them some time and distance from the Ekans, Broski shot his Water Gun just behind the last steps that Fianna took, trying to turn the snow around there into a thick slush. He only had time to dump the stream of water into that patch of snow for 10 seconds before catching up to the slushy patch, continuing on all fours and moving around the wet patch of snow, centering himself again. If that didn't slow the Ekans down, there may not be much else that could... She aimed a leer at the buizel before running towards it, not caring about the water that was beginning to rise. Thankfully the plan had worked for now; the ekans was taken surprise by the the sudden slipperiness of the ice and water combined. The result was that she was constantly moving, wriggling, skidding as she tried to to reach the buizel. The sight was very similar to a magikarp freshly caught; flooping around for some air....hehe.

As he was eunning on all fours, he turned his head to the side to check to see how close the Ekans was. Much to his surprise, he saw the pure Poison-type sliding and skidding on the patch that he moistened with his Water Gun, as opposed to being slowed down by the heavy, damp, slushy snow. That slowed her down... I should catch up before she gets to much deeper into these woods..! Leaving the Ekans behind, probably for good this time, Broski finally caught up to Fianna. The trainer's breathing was getting heavier, his muscles also getting worn out. After another minute of running, Fianna felt his legs finally give out, grinding to a halt. He fell to his hands and knees, panting and gasping for breath. Broski stopped and looked around, maybe a couple of small Pokémon spying on the pair from the distance. "Take it easy, Sisbro... I think we can relax here for a little while...," the Buizel said as he watched Fianna take a handful of snow and stuff his mouth with it. His throat was very dry, having had nothing to drink for a long while now. Broski rubbed the shoulder of the panting trainer as he kept watch on their surroundings. By his side, he could hear Fianna's stomach growling thunderously. Broski remembered something that resembled bread inside of the trainer's bag. The Buizel spotted the bag in the trainer's left hand, as Fianna gulped down his third handful of snow. He pulled out one that looked like it was already started, pulling the melon bread in front of Fianna. "You should be able to eat this, Sisbro," said Broski, trying to ignore his own hunger as much as he could. Fianna didn't reply at all, other than to take the loaf of bread and bite into it. It had gotten a bit crusty since he had bought it before the Ranger Station, but it was food nonetheless. In the meantime, Broski also pulled a blanket out of the bag and tossed it onto Fianna's back, tugging it up to his neck. Their only hope was that they could survive here for an hour, without too much incident. Broski had a feeling that he would have to be the only one to respond to any unwarranted company. For now anyway, he pulled out another blanket and placed it underneath Fianna's elevated body. "You can lie down now, Sisbro." Fianna did so, feeling the cold nipping much less on his body now. NURSE OLIVIA APPEARED !Age 37. Female. Passionate about nursing. Travels Route One to help out new trainers. Enjoys battling. Ekans was steadily growing impatient with flopping about uselessly in the freezing puddle the Buizel made her. Resigning herself to defeat, she settled into silence until she managed to pull herself out of the puddle and warm up elsewhere. She'd succeeded in getting the trainer off of her territory, and that was really all that mattered.
Meanwhile, a nurse was walking about. Winter, really, was one of the more dangerous seasons to venture into the routes, so practically every trainer she encountered was grateful for her services. She could smell crisis from a mile away and, by a stroke of fortune, stumbled upon the human and his vigilant Buizel. To her, the crossdressing male definitely looked female.
Not wanting to disturb the "girl" if "she" was resting, she asked the Buizel, "Is anything wrong here?" Honestly, neither of them looked so good, and the nurse's fingers already itched to heal their wounds.

The crunching of footsteps caught Broski's attention, quickly making him have to stand on alert. The sound of the footsteps grew closer, making the Buizel grow tenser as he awaited the arrival of whatever was disturbing the mostly barren woods. Fianna, still very slowly getting his bearings together, wasn't focused on anything else except not trying to choke on the bits of melon bread that he was having a difficult enough time trying to get into his mouth. All Broski could think, anticipating that he might be forced into action any moment now, was Another wild Pokémon with another farfetch'd land claim? Wonderful. Just beautiful... Just, not cool, bro...The sound of the snow being separated under one's feet became very loud now. Broski's head snapped left, then right, his breathing and heart rate quickening as he mentally prepared himself to fight again, despite his less-than-normal condition. The sound became close enough for the Buizel to identify that the footsteps were coming from behind him, turning himself around to see a girl start to approach them. He wasn't sure what this human was going to do, at first, so he got on all fours and snarled at the girl, hair standing on end. The strange female's voice, however, expressed more concern than fear, in the way that she responded. Broski stopped acting so aggressively, thinking that there might be a chance that she could help. Not that he was going to be completely trusting of her just yet. He wanted to play it relatively cool for now, to wait and see what she does before passing judgement. He responded to the girl's question, "My trainer and I were on the run from a wild Ekans, bro. I think we ditched it back there somewhere, bro, but it's hard to say, bro... My big sisbro is cold and exhausted, and she needs a safer place to rest." It might be a gamble to have even said anything to her at all. But, maybe it was better that it was a human girl that appeared instead of another wild Pokémon. In any event, perhaps placing all of their eggs in this chick's basket might not be such a bad idea. Though, he was skeptical about what she thought she could do for them right now, in the middle of this cold, empty section of the woods... nurse olivia !Age 37. Female. Passionate about nursing. Travels Route One to help out new trainers. Enjoys battling. even nurse olivia looked skeptical. what kind of trainer in their right mind would lay themselves out in the middle of winter? it was ridiculous, stupid, and absolutely.. untrainer-like. the nurse just shook her head, looking down at the buizel talking to her. " well, it looks like you in a bit of a fix hmm? " she said, before dropping her suitcase on the snow and kneeling in front of the trainer. she smiled slightly and patted his cheeks, trying to wake him up or something. then she reached into her bag, pulled out a hot chocolate package, and glanced at the buizel.
" you don't happen to know any heat-related attack, do you? i was thinking of making him some hot-chocolate. warm up his insides a bit. my happiny doesn't know any. " a little bit of a disappointed look crossed the nurse's face. she tilted her head after a while, looking in on the buizel. it looked a little beat up, for sure. she reached into her suitcase again, pulling out a bag of pokemon food, and a dish. she poured the majority of the food into the bag and pushed it towards the water pokemon. " eat up, you aren't going help your trainer any if you're weak. " she smiled faintly. then flipped out another item, and sprayed it on the pokemons wounds. she healed him, to put it bluntly.
the nurse just looked at the trainer, raising an eyebrow in thought. she unhitched the pokeball on her belt and clicked it open, sending out the cute happiny. it chirped warily and looked at the tired out trainer. she looked at olivia with a confused look on her face. < what'cha want me to do? > she asked, before glancing sidelong at the buizel. " carry him, if need be. " she nodded, then smiled. < alright. > she giggled and sat down, playing with the snow. awaiting olivia's order to haul the trainer down to the pokemon center.

His coughing became loud and repetitive, making a fist with his other hand and raising it to cover his mouth. This released the grip that he had of his bag. He also dropped the loaf of bread next to him, using his other hand to help cover his mouth. He was hoping that it was just from fatigue that he was coughing so much, not a sign of worse things to come. Broski was still trying to deal with the nurse, who commented about his trainer being in trouble. He said nothing in response. Though, he frowned, thinking to himself, I think anybody could clearly see something's not right here, dumbassbro... He watched the girl's every movement, from her setting her case down to checking on the oxygen-deprived trainer. Broski continued to hear what the girl had to say, saying something about hot chocolate being able to warm up the trainer. Broski thought, however, that she needed to get her eyes checked, trying to suggest that his big Sisbro was anything other than a girl, herself. Still, he replied, "Unless you can teach me how to use Scald right here and now, bro, I don't have any attacks like that either. But, if there's wood around here that can keep a fire going for a while, bro, there may be another way of warming her up right here, bro."Broski left the girl for a moment to look into Fianna's bag. He remembered the matchbox that he'd seen when he searched through his bag earlier. "Come on! where did I see that brobbing matchbox...," he said to himself as he dug through the various paraphernalia inside of the big pocket. Moving aside an Awakening and Fianna's mother's oil lamp, he found the matchbox underneath. He took it back to the nurse. "You might be able to build a fire and set it up close to my friend, bro," he said, unaware at the moment that she was holding onto some sort of spray-on medicine bottle. Handing the matchbox to the nurse, she, in return, sprayed him with the medicine, really surprising him. "Hey, bro! What are you doing?! I'm not the one in a crapload of trouble here, bro!!" But alas, she refused to listen to that sort of talk as she finished spraying the health-restoring medicine onto the Buizel's body. Broski was unhappy that he was the one being helped, when it was his trainer who was in more immediate danger. Even suggesting that he should eat something at a time like this. He shook his head, stubbornly refusing the girl's offering of food. He also replied, "Bro..! Just... Can't you help her, or something? I'm going to go collect some sticks to help build that fire." Sure, he was hungry. But, with his trainer in trouble right now, it was easier for him to think of her to help stave off that feeling of hunger. And that's what he did, as he checked the nearby woods to find some sticks or twigs he could carry back to the nurse... Olivia knew she was being sort of obvious, but it was mostly to help calm herself since all she was listening to besides her own voice was the sound of the Buizel's chattering - although she did mostly understand him. She smiled at how helpful the creature was in finding a matchbox; this was pretty much all they needed to keep warm. She accepted it and returned the favor by healing him, but he seemed to dislike the gesture, preferring that she keep her attention on his trainer. What a selfless pokemon; she felt respect growing for the weasel. "Alright, alright." She replied, removing a match from the box and looking around for something to light. She couldn't dilly-dally when the trainer might well be freezing before her very eyes.
"I'm definitely feeding you once your trainer is safe. You look famished." She commented once she decided on just lighting a piece of cloth from the many she had in her supplies. She could replace it easily. Brushing snow away, she found the dry bottom and piled stones in a moderate circle a couple feet from the trainer before striking the match, putting down the piece of cloth in the middle, and lighting it. She blew on the small flame. By then, the Buizel was gone to find sticks.
"Eve, see if you can get any combustibles from around here. This might go out any minute." The nurse confessed, keeping close watch on the cloth as it steadily turned black and folded in on itself. Eve nodded excitedly and instantly located a couple of tiny twigs lying around. She quickly grabbed some, throwing them into the fire to keep it going. It was nice and warm, but by the end of another five minutes it was already petering out. She was forced to extinguish another cloth in the flame to keep it going.
The nurse checked on her patient, in the meantime. Fianna didn't look too bad, really, other than very cold and tired. If she hadn't been taken care of by her pokemon, she might as well have gotten hypothermia. Winter was a cruel mistress. Olivia brought out a pan, heated some snow over the fire, dipped yet another cloth into it, and laid it on Fianna's head to help warm her up. All the while, she hummed to herself.

Other sticks involved digging them out of the snow that they were sticking out of. Some big. Some small. The sense of urgency he needed to help out his trainer was always in the front of his mind, working as quickly as he could to recover the nearby fallen twigs. One 'twig' that gave him trouble was one that was close to the base of a tree. Part of it was sticking out of the snow, so he tried to pull it out of there. It wouldn't budge. He kept trying to pull it out of the snow, only to feel his grip slip off of the wood. He didn't realize, at the time, that he was actually pulling on a root of the tree that it was closest to. BRO...! How stubborn can one stick really get!? he thought, taking one more attempt at pulling it out from the snow. It kept on resisting the Buizel's futile efforts with laughable ease. Broski dug away the snow around the end of the stick he had tugged and noticed that it continued right into the soil. That was when he clued in that he had been wasting time trying to uproot a big tree root, seething with self-disgust. "Damn it! I should have had the rest of that wood delivered already, instead of failing so hard with this bro-shit!" he growled, picking up the pile of wood he'd already collected, rushing back to where the nurse was already trying to set up the fire for his trainer. Fianna was somehow turned face-up, still lying in between the blankets, still attempting to catch his breath. Indeed, his body felt heavy. His exposed skin was also cold, although the blankets were helping a little. He could also hear the faint crackling of a fire, the smoke filling his nose as his heart was trying to not thump as rapidly. The fire was not yet strong enough to feel much heat from it. In the meantime, he could only watch as the nurse applied a warm, damp cloth to his forehead. He wasn't sure where the nurse had suddenly come from. However, in an attempt to look around for his Buizel, Fianna used what little strength he had then to lift his head and neck off of the blanket, the warm cloth dropping off in front of his body, scanning the area to locate his Pokémon. "B...ro...ski...?" he gasped as he fought to continuously fill his lungs with air, coughing sometimes. He couldn't find the Buizel anywhere. Yet, he refused to stay down completely, even with the nurse and her Happiny around, unwilling to rest until he knew his Buizel was there, alive and well. Broski returned with the sticks and twigs, dropping them in front of the nurse. It was a heavy enough load. Yet, he wasn't sure if it was going to be enough to sustain a long-lasting fire, as he sat himself on the cold ground, panting heavily. He took a moment to catch his breath before saying to the nurse, "Here, bro. I've brought what I could find nearby... I'll go back out there, if it isn't enough..." He felt like if he had to, he could go raid the area out there for some more wood. He did not yet realize that his trainer was already trying to look around for him. [STYLE=border-bottom: 5px solid #FFC7FF;] [/style] NURSE OLIVIA ! Age 37. Female. Passionate about nursing. Travels Route One to help out new trainers. Enjoys battling. Well, this just wouldn't do, she had to make sure the trainer stayed down to keep herself healed, and the way she was moving seemed to upset her. Olivia finally ordered the girl to lie back down instead of worrying about her pokemon, but it seemed she wasn't vaguely interested in getting better. "You need rest if you're going to get better," she said to her, but it seemed her words fell on rather deaf ears. Obviously, the nurse was still flustered that she had tried sitting up, but at least she hadn't wandered off. The happiny sighed softly as she smiled at the return of said buizel. Although it seemed she was still there awaiting the return of her buizel, but he was here now. "Look he has arrived, and is safe...Don't worry," she said. After all, as she noticed the buizel had brought more wood it was quickly tossed onto the fire as the happiny seemed to have found some branches too in the meantime lying around. Trying to focus on the trainer that was lying there, but there was a distinct rustling in the brush. It wasn't like someone had just come near there, but it seemed somethign was angry at the buizel for stealing it's home. It was just an insect, but still, even then it was a nincada at that too. A female nincada, and smaller than usual, although it could easily bite your neck if you weren't careful. The nincada was slowly crawling towards the buizel's tail to actually just lounge on it's back, but that was only if the buizel would let it of course too as she'd rest against the fur. Then snuggle up against it, once again, only IF the buizel moved it's tail away would she stop. Of course it looked the nincada was actually 'feeling' it's way around with it's feelers instead of moving straight as if it had a seeing disability or perhaps was indeed blind. He really wanted to call out to Broski. Realizing just how drained he really was, all he could manage was a brief smile, directed at the nurse, before lying his head back down again. He really began to understand that he wasn't suffering here alone, thanks to everything that both the girl, and his Buizel were doing for him. The whereabouts of that Ekans that was chasing them earlier was a fear that loomed in the back of his head, wondering whether he was really safe from it just lying here motionless. The damp cloth was still keeping his chest warm, as he slipped out of consciousness. It looked as though the nurse had enough supplies to keep a fire going for a while. Broski was relieved that he didn't have to go back out there and have another root system dupe him into thinking he'd get such a big piece of free deadwood. This would be a free opportunity for him to finally be able to relax - even just stay by his trainer's side and help her recover, right? Not if the sound of an angered chattering had anything to say about it. It was coming up from behind Broski, the Buizel turning around to see what was slowly progressing towards him. A Bug-type Pokémon, Nincada, was out in this weather, for some unknown reason, looking like it pretty much had its face buried into the ground as it walked. The sight of the Nincada's exceedingly careful movements looked really strange to Broski, who stood up again and watched the Nincada keep pressing forward for another few seconds. As much as it was interesting enough to see, it was also walking towards a campfire that was going to become nice and big, somehow not realizing that the fire was there in the first place. He approached the Nincada and picked her up from her side, turning her to face to his right (the Nincada's left), and set her down again. "There you go, bro! You won't be walking aimlessly to a fiery accident now," said Broski, looking over at Fianna. She still seemed to be lying there, which was a good thing right about now. He had a feeling that they'd need a few hours of rest, given Fianna's condition. Still, he wondered what kind of weather they'd have to put up with later... She rushed over and placed a finger to his neck, before sighing in relief when she noticed that the trainer was fine; he was still breathing which was ok, but she had to keep a close eye on him for the moment. She sat back down next to the fire while her happiny continued to throw some sticks into the fire to keep it going. Meanwhuile the nincada let out a short chattering sound as it was picked up and turned around. He swished his head from side to side before using his fealers to turn around to the buizel again, before slwoly making his way back to the magical land of the furry tail. Oh gosh he was so cold, all he wanted to do was snuggle up in something super super warm, if he was allowed and not picked up like the last time.

To Broski, the fire was looking strong. Hopefully, it would be strong enough to keep his trainer warm out here, while he'd take a true breather next to her. As he thought about moving towards the resting Fianna, he could begin to hear the sound of that Nincada's chattering getting louder again. Broski looked over his shoulder, only to see that the Nincada was walking up to him from behind again. It was a mystery to the Buizel why this Pokémon was suddenly attracted towards the camp. Regardless of what the reason was, he'd rather be taking care of his trainer than playing with a stray Nincada right now. Broski groaned and turned around to face the incoming Bug-type again. This time, he planned on taking the Nincada and placing it inside of the densely-wooded area again. He allowed the Nincada to come to him, then picked him up from the front. Looking into the face of the bug, in spite of its feelers trying to tickle his face, its eyes weren't open at all. Broski thought This thing some sort of insomniac? What a nuisance right now..., carrying it into the denser woods. "I can't play with you right now, bro. I have to drop you off into the woods. My big Sisbro needs me to look after her now," he said to the Nincada, looking for a good place to set it down, then move back towards the camp.
