{desc=~EXITING THE FOREST IS SUPER SIMPLE~}It took some catching up to the Buizel, but Fianna finally caught up so that he was walking beside him. The path that he'd been led on was becoming more and more dense with trees that either had its needles being covered with fallen snow or were completely devoid of their leaves. To Fianna, those were just telltale signs of a season that he wasn't really fond of. He definitely went off ill-prepared as far as his 'dress code' was concerned - he hadn't really thought about the possibility of snow and cold conditions when he started out. It all seemed to have taken him by surprise, even as he wandered throughout his hometown earlier. Sure, it bothered him that he could be keeping himself warmer - but it didn't bother him enough to break that promise and turn back for home to re-pack for the long road ahead.
With the area becoming thicker in wood, it became a little bit more difficult to see what lied ahead - outside of the pathway they had been walking on for a while now. "Hey, bro," the Buizel started out, "I think this road goes on for a ways. You'll have to keep your strength up if we're going to be moving on together, bro." Fianna just smiled back, not really showing concern about how the cold's affecting him, and pulled the scarf around his neck over his face. Figuring that there was nothing more to do than to press onward right now, he pushed himself to continue to keep up with the little Buizel, not knowing what might lurk around these woods...

::Nidoranm:: ::Nidoranf:: Woah, was it that time already...? Wait, what time was it? The Nidoran had no idea whatsoever. All that she knew was that she should probably get out and set up the wifi connection or something. Wait, did they even have wifi?
Whatever. She called out for her boyfriend, who came out of his nest with a tired groan. “Alright, alright, I'll get the breakfast started.” He mumbled. As he passed he pressed his body against the other Nidoran's, their fur brushing as he disappeared deeper into the nest to get some berries ready for boiling.
It seemed like the stereotypical, “traditional” gender roles were reversed with these two. It was cool to see, really! But as they headed out to get some water to boil their breakfast of fruit, they stepped into the path of a trainer and his Buizel. The male squeaked in alarm, causing the female to stand over him protectively, her fur bristling protectively. “Back off!”

Fianna and the Buizel were both caught by surprise by the Nidoran couple that suddenly came out to meet them in the middle of the pathway, the paler blue one stepping in front and appeared as though she was protecting the more purplish one from those who she considered, at the time, to be 'threats' to them both.
Fianna's Buizel stepped in front of him, looking as though he was prepared for a more heated confrontation to take place "Hey, bro! Let us pass! We were here first!" Sensing his Pokémon's rashness to want to pick a fight with the pair that were just trying to get across the road, he had to do something to try to diffuse the situation. "C-Come back here, Buizel! They just want to get across the road, so we should....j-j-just let them g-go..." It wasn't something that the Buizel could immediately accept. He turned back to his human companion and protested, "But! They're out here getting in our way, bro! We shouldn't let them get away with trying to threaten us here."
Fianna didn't want that kind of attitude from him right now. He picked up the Buizel and said to him, "P-Please let it go... I-I'm s-sure they d-don't want this any m-more t-than we d-do..." And then anxiously turned to the Nidoran couple and said, "O-On behalf of m-my Buizel....I'm very sorry for the misunderstanding!" Fianna took a couple of paces backwards, while his Buizel tried to struggle out of his hold. "P-Please go on ahead f-first..."

The female Nidoran continued to stand over her partner, fur bristling in a defensive way. Her ears twitched with outrage as the Buizel commented that they were the ones acting in a threatening manner. Them? Ha!
“You're scaring my man!” Retorted the female Nidoran, nose wrinkled into a snarl. As the trainer pulled away his Buizel, which seemed to acting quite aggressively at the time, she quickly ushered her partner across to the other side of the road...

The Buizel kept squirming within Fianna's arms, trying to break free so that he could stand between him & the pair of Nidoran. He was able to kick free and ran towards where they had originally stood, witnessing the two crossing the road together. Fianna felt guilty about the last thing that the pale blue Nidoran had said. She was losing focus on the situation at hand, imagining the kind of mental anguish the 'male' purpley Nidoran must have felt just by seeing him and his Buizel trying to come close to them. That sort of feeling Fianna understood very well. In the meantime, the Buizel looked back at his friend, who looked like she was in some kind of trance-like state. He knew that it was up to him to stand by his new friend and keep her from being harmed by anyone or anything - especially not scary blue Nidoran. "Bro! I don't know what kind of bs you're spouting about your 'man' being scared by our presence, bro, but what I do know is that you're trying to scare my new friend right now. Take your friend and get out of here and I won't have to punish either of you for being scary." After delivering that ultimatum, the Buizel went on all fours and hunched his back, some of his hair standing on end. In the background, Fianna could only focus his feelings and his trembling tongue on what she had supposedly did to that Nidoran's friend. "I.. I... I... I didn't mean to frighten him... I-I-... I'm sorry, I..." Hearing his friend's sputtering incoherently to himself, he, too, worried just how well he could protect her and her currently limited grip over herself... But then that dude bro Buizel had to open up his huge mouth and make things worse for himself didn't he? She snorted through her nose and turned around to face them fearlessly. "I know you weren't just talking about MY man that way?" She stomped a foot on the ground to show just how angry she was. Then she reared back onto her hind legs and sat up on her rear so she looked a bit taller than before. Her little ears twitched. The Buizel was ready in case that bluish Nidoran came back and challenged him. And it looked as though a battle may be unavoidable at this point. The only thing he could do for Fianna was fight for his human friend. He remained hunched on all fours, even while the Nidoran stood on her hind legs and seemed to be scolding him. "Hmph. Don't get too cocky with that finger wagging, bro," he said while working out a strategy of some kind in his head in place of his human companion, "You're just making yourself easier to be felled now, bro!"Taking in a big breath of air, he puffed up his chest and he let out a loud sound-based attack from his mouth. His Growl attack was being directed towards the Nidoran, hoping to intimidate her enough to make her think twice about challenging him right here. NIDORAN (F) & NIDORAN (M) APPEARED ! The male Nidoran peeked out from the bushes he'd just ran into, shuddering at the sight of the Buizel and trainer still there. Secretly, he wanted them to go away, but leaving with his waifu was the next best thing. <Darling, shouldn't we->
<I got this. Don't worry.> The female Nidoran replied, turning back to the Buizel, continuing to sit on her rear like a queen. She narrowed her eyes at the weasel's threats, unfazed by them. The growl only enraged her more. <That's it, you're gonna get it!> The female Nidoran hissed before launching a Growl of her own at him and racing forward, attempting a Scratch on the water-type.

Seeing that the bluish Nidoran was unphased by his attempted Growl, he had been Growled at in return. His eyes scrunched together as the sound of the attack was very loud. With his eyes closed, he didn't realize that his opponent had started to run closer to him. By the time the sound-based attack had passed and he had opened his eyes again, all he could do was brace for whatever attack was to come. The Buizel was hit by her claw across the face, feeling the sting of of the nails scraping against his skin. He slid backwards, standing up on his hind legs now. He started to feel some of the adrenaline flow throughout his body. "You got lucky, bro! Now let me show you how a true bro fights!" She took a step back as he issued a verbal challenge that made her narrow her eyes. <Less talk, more fighting!> She replied with a grin as she leapt out of the way of the Quick Attack. Her mate's eyes glittered as he stared at how powerful she was. It made his heart go badump, badump for her.
<Check out how a true bro fights!> She repeated to him in a mocking voice as she raced towards him again, going for a simple Scratch on his side this time.

After missing with his Quick Attack, he was anticipating the Nidoran's opportunity to counterattack. He had slid back until he was a good dozen feet away from his opponent. He saw the small blue thing charge towards him again. He took his front paw and sprayed snow towards the Nidoran, and then leapt into the air. His tails began to glow with a whiteish hue. "Freeze for a bit!" he said, whipping his tails around and unleashing bursts of sound angling down at his opponent. After hurling his Sonicboom at the Nidoran, he stood on his hind legs and watched closely to see what kind of results his latest attack brought. Whoa there, that Sonicboom was a bit too much for a Nidoran at this level! She had to admit, being at level 5 had some disadvantages. One of them being her lack of hit points, and it was such a pro move on this route, that she was already at half of her health. She growled furiously at herself for letting herself get hit by that move, wheezing as she stood back up. Oh her rivalry was kicking in now, especially when she wanted to beat this bro up.
<You know how to hit a girl, I'll say that much.> She muttered as she arched her back as if she was going to pounce. Her man could only shrink in the background, feeling very ignored as he wished he could make this fight stop. They didn't need this kind of ruckus in this early in the day, and it wasn't as if he was being hit on by the strong, rugged and handsome Buizel.
<I'll claw yer eyes out!> She scowled as she slashed at him with her short claws, ones that were probably bitten a lot as a nervous habit. They were still bound to hurt, and if the Buizel hit her back physically, there was a chance she could poison him. She considered herself a battle master because of that, and no one could take her man because of it!

It took a few moments for Fianna to finally come to. She had been so immersed in thinking about how much panic their being in the area caused the little purplish Nidoran panic that she only now realized that his Buizel wasn't by his side anymore. Some closeby sounds averted his gaze to a fight that had broken out. And he did not like seeing that his Buizel had gotten involved with the bluish Nidoran that had accused them of being a negative presence to her boyfriend. He tried calling out to the Buizel, "Buizel! Come back here, we have to move on already!" He was tempted to try to run out there to nab his Buizel and get out of there as soon as possible, if not for the probable danger he would be putting himself into. His Buizel had just heard his trainer's voice and quickly shouted back, "Hi, bro! Finally ready to help me win our first battle together?" Help......battle.....? He had no idea what his Buizel was thinking, but he didn't like how such a simple misunderstanding had suddenly led to fisticuffs between them & the pair of Nidoran. Fianna wasn't happy that his Buizel refused to fall back and allow them to go on their way, after he had said that they should continue on down the trail. "Come on! There's no reason for us to still be here..."To the Buizel, his trainer's protests made no sense to him. In amidst of the confusion, his attention was taken away from the Nidoran, who had jumped at him and raked his face with her claws. The momentum of the attack knocked the Buizel to the ground, something that brought a pale expression of fear and concern to Fianna's face. Fianna raced over to his Buizel, who got up and shot a gaze back in his direction. "I'm okay," he said, brushing off some of the dirt from his chest and belly. He was starting to breathe a little bit heavier. The sting of the Nidoran's claws hit him once more, but he knew he had to do something to return the favour; he was disappointed that only his heart was in the battle. He needed to show Fianna just how strong he was. Moreso, he just wanted her to believe in his abilities. He turned back to the Nidoran, gritting his teeth towards the small bluish Pokémon. He didn't wait for Fianna to say anything, racing towards it with another Quick Attack. The Nidoran male shyly watched the trainer as she tried to stop the battle from happening, mostly due to a state of confusion. As much as he would've loved this ruckus to stop so they could simply move on their way with no silly things like 'pride' on the line, he couldn't bring himself to stop his girlfriend. Just thinking about what it would do to her bothered him, so he chose not to say anything. <It's a battle of love and honor! Stay out of it, human!> The female Nidoran barked as her fur bristled up, poisonous barbs showing as she stared at the charging Buizel with a scowl.
She planned on jumping out of the way, but he was a bit too fast for her as she was knocked onto the ground with a yelp. <Drat!> She scrambled onto her feet with her heart beating quickly, feeling weaker and weaker with each attack used on her. He was smart using that Sonicboom on her so early in the battle, especially since it was brutal against weaker leveled Pokemon.
<I'll show you who's boss, just you wait.> She was motivated to keep going, even if another attack could easily take her out. She didn't care though, bursting after the Buizel with a snort as she prepared to scratch his fuzzy chest. Not even his fur coat could save him from this blow!

The Buizel got his attack off on it and returned not too far away from Fianna's side. Little did he know that he was fortunate to have escaped being poison through contact with his opponent's poison-tipped horns. On all fours and back hunched, he turned his head back to talk to his human friend. "Did you hear the way she just talked to you, bro? She thinks she can tell you what to do like that." He turned his head back forward to heed his opposition more attention, raising his voice a little bit more so as to still be heard by his trainer. "I'm not going to let that bottom feeder get away with speaking to you so sharply. I'm going to put her in her place!" Fianna was actually affected by the Nidoran's words again. Except this time, his head was hung low, he was trembling, making clenched fists with his hands, and it was as thought a purplish aura had surrounded him. He snapped, embracing the dark, malicious side of him that he wished he could have just kept hidden within him. "Love..... Honor?!?" he muttered, his once effeminate-sounding voice turning into a deeper, more masculine one. The Buizel heard the change in Fianna's voice and became even more fearful for his friend, unsure whether this was really a good change so suddenly, or not. Fianna raised his head and focused his eyes sharply on on bluish Nidoran, giving her a striking sort of glare. "No..... NO! YOU WANT TO HURT MY FRIEND, YOU'LL HAVE TO GO THROUGH ME TOO!"After speaking with a tone sharper than a knife, he charged out towards the oncoming Nidoran to protect his Buizel. Hearing the quickening footsteps treading towards him from behind, he feared that Fianna would get hurt at his expense. Despite the Nidoran charging his way, it was more important to take the edge out of his trainer as soon as possible, as appreciated as the sudden change in spirit might have been at that moment. He turned around and quickly tackled Fianna to the ground, stopping him in his tracks. "...............Why?" The Buizel didn't get a chance to respond before he got raked once again, this time in the back. He stumbled forwards, but caught himself on Fianna's knee. Fianna could see the painful expression his Buizel had made when the Nidoran's attack hit, his dark glare becoming even bigger as he stood up, with intent to harm the small, bluish Pokémon. Buizel grabbed onto his leg, despite his strength becoming lesser prevalent, to hold his trainer back from perhaps doing something he would later regret. He let go of his leg and barked, Bro! You can use your Balls to end this now, bro... But I can still try to end this fight so we can finally move on from here. Your choice, bro!"His Buizel's willingness to still want to fight for him made him snap out of whatever dark emotions had overcome him. He looked around, mystified as to why he was feeling his head pounding. The Buizel sensed his trainers' reversion of gaze and felt a sense of relief. "Are you all right now?" Fianna sat down, holding his head with one hand and stretching his other hand out to brush against the face of his Buizel. "I'm okay. Just a bit of a headache..." Hearing his trainer's voice return to normal; to say that she was feeling okay was enough to calm the Buizel's nerves and raise his level of confidence again. "Listen, bro. You can take the lead and try tossing a ball at that weakened Pokémon, if you want to. It's something that I've seen other humans do before, so it would only be natural if you wanted to try to catch it for our team. Or, you can let me continue to battle and I can defeat that mean old Pokémon over there. Let me know if you want to take over, bro.."Fianna had a hard time thinking, but she tried her best to weight her options. The possibility of having her fight alongside them was tempting, but not very fashionable to the feminine-like boy. He would rather not separate the two Nidoran, since they appeared together in the first place. But either way, he just wanted this fight to be over and done with. He just wasn't feeling like he could immediately stand up. "End this, please..." His Buizel barely heard him speak clearly, but he understood what he had to do. He turned to the female Nidoran and grunted. His trainer starting to trust in him, he could feel himself gaining a 'second wind' as he once again accelerated towards his opponent. A lot of strange things went on that ended up surprising the two Nidorans; the male was so scared out of his wits that he was literally trembling at the scuffle going on between trainer and Pokemon. <I-I'll see you back at the nest.> The male Nidoran timidly said before bolting to the nest before he could get killed. If his girlfriend was going to fight that maniac, then he didn't want a part of it at all. It was all way too crazy for him to even want to be involved!
Not that the Nidoran female minded, looking back at him with a relieved smile. She wouldn't have wanted him to get hurt anyways. She was scared too, sensing a close call between emotionally deranged human and douchey Buizel that encouraged this to happen. <You're both insane! Crazy! Someone should put you in a cage and never let you go!> She cried out terrible things due to how close she got stabbed, trembling as she spoke.
It was then that the Quick Attack struck, making her gape as she lost the air in her lungs. She landed on the ground with a thud, coughing as she desperately tried to get in air. Ugh, she was weak. She attempted to stand back up, but could only collapse after trying. She was done.

The attack connected! The Buizel quickly returned to his trainer's side, waiting to see how the opponent would react. When the dust settled, the bluish Nidoran was down on the ground. She struggled as she attempted to get back up, but it was no good. The Nidoran was down for the count, the Buizel watching closely for any others signs of struggle. He even crept up carefully and tried poking her physically-spent body with his paw just to be certain that it wasn't going to jump up and attack him suddenly. When he got no reaction from the fallen Nidoran, he returned to Fianna's side and gave him a big hug, twirling his twin tails around in jubilation of their first win together. "We did it! We won! Yeeeeeaaaahh!!" Fianna could feel the pride his Buizel was exhibiting, but at the same time she also looked ahead at the Nidoran just laying there as she lightly stroked the fur on his Buizel's neck and back. His expression didn't seem to be so much happy as it was concerned for their opponent's safety, lying there in the cold snow as an easy target for a potential predator. He got up, setting the Buizel down, who gave him a curious look as the human walked over to the defeated Pokémon. Using one arm, he scooped her up and cradled her in his arms, saying softly, "Let's get you back to your home, little Pokémon." His Buizel was disappointed not to be praised, even questioning Fianna going to attend to the opponent first. "Hey, bro! What do you think you're doing now? Just leave her. She'll be okay." Fianna didn't know how he could already know that for a fact, as he looked around for signs of her companion nearby. He couldn't see the purplish Nidoran anywhere. Though, he spotted some tracks in the snow that looked like it could have been just freshly made. As he started to move towards the tiny imprints in the snow, the Buizel put himself in Fianna's way again. "Didn't you hear me just a second ago, bro? I said that she'd be okay being left there. She's just taking a nap to recover the strength that she lost in the battle. It's what happens to all Pokémon who are defeated." He'd hoped to have persuaded his trainer to stop and think of their current situation, rather than worry about a Pokémon that had caused problems for his trainer's state of mind up until a moment ago. In Fianna's mind though, he didn't want any of this to happen in the first place; he'd have much rather had things resolved peacefully than the way that things turned out. He felt bad about that, understanding that it was partially his fault for not being in complete control of himself or his Buizel in the first place. "Buizel. This is the only thing that I can do now to make things right between us and those Pokémon," Fianna said as he stepped around his twin-tailed Pokémon and moved closer to the footprints left by the other Nidoran. The Buizel walked next to him, concerned about his trainer's state of mind as he warned him that he was doing a risky sort of thing trying to tend to the unconscious blue Nidoran. They followed the tracks together and found the nest very closeby. Fianna set the female Nidoran down at the entrance to the nest, taking care not to touch any of her horns. "I'm sorry about the confrontation. Your friend's resting right now. Get some extra Oran Berries to tend to her injuries." She hoped that the other Nidoran was there to listen to his apology, but didn't expect him to come around while he and his Buizel were standing right outside the nest. A soft shrill shriek that echoed for miles across the route. A dense forest that groaned as the body was dragged from one part of the tree line to the other, leaving a horrific stain etched forever into the grounds. Yes, she remembered the scene vividly. Not even the emerald trees had managed to hide the crimson streak from the skies; nor the flowers cloaked the scent from the serpents.
The Pidgey that was perched atop an old oak branch opened her eyes, bored. She could see most of the forest from where she sat, yet she was most interested in the reeds. They would provide cover for the assassin of her tale to hide, surely, yet she couldn't for the sake of her think of a decent plot line for her new book series.
Sucking in a breath of ice cold air, she sighed and fluffed up the down adorning her body. A puff of steam blew out from her mouth and she gazed ahead of her, searching the horizon. Great. She couldn't think. Her muse was like a machine gun with no bullets left in it. Usually it had so much that it was just flooding with ideas, but once the heat had essentially left and the rounds fired... Writers block. Every writer's worse nightmare.
She found a fixed point on the path below and found a spot to find immensely interesting for the next five minutes. A black pebble from the stream amongst the dirt. Her Keen Eye ability made it impossible to tear her eyes away from the sleek obsidian sheen it cast in reflection of the light.
There. Well, why not? But there was a trainer coming. She didn't want to leave it there, but she didn't want it to be picked up by the person. Cautiously she extended her wings and dropped into an expertly performed free fall, the sun stroking iridescent rainbows in her feathers. She swooped down and landed on the path, plucking the stone up into her beak and looking back over to where the trainer was. Oh fuck – too late!

Just after leaving the Nidoran couple and their nest behind them, the Buizel, walking beside Fianna, jumped onto him, climbing onto his shoulder from his 'seat', and said, "Bro, I think I'd like a better name than you calling me 'Buizel' all the time." Pausing in his tracks, Fianna wasn't expecting that the Buizel would raise the question about being given a name so soon. But seeing as how he was eventually going to try to find a name for him anyway, he tried to give it some thought. It was difficult thinking of a good name for him, he didn't know the Buizel very well yet.
Fianna had spent a while trying to think of a good name for his Buizel starter. Seeing his trainer was struggling to think of a name that would suit him perfectly, he started to say some names that he thought he might like. "What about Buibro?" Fianna didn't give it much thought as he reacted by shaking his head. "But what if you evolve? You won't be very 'Bui' anymore..." The Buizel thought about the counterpoint that was brought up, and had to nod in agreeance. "Good point," he said, before rebutting with another suggestion, "What about 'Brozel'? It really makes me sound like your bro, bro." This was one that Fianna thought about a little bit more, but once again shook her head. "It just sounds like you're adding 'bro' in between the name of your species..." The Buizel thought about it, but also seemed to think that he had thought up a couple of good ideas for his new name. "Then what would you suggest, bro?"
Fianna kept trying to give it more thought. He didn't know how to really put it into words, but hearing him always saying the word 'bro' reminded him of a friend back home who used to call him a 'broski'. From now, on, your name shall be 'Broski'." The Buizel's whiskers twitched as he gave the name a lot of thought. He liked that it had the word 'bro' in the name. More importantly, it felt like Fianna was starting to speak his language. He had a wide smile on his face as his excitement could be seen from how much his twin tails were moving about as he was standing there. "I like Broski. So if you want to call me Broski from now on, I will gladly respond to it." Fianna was happily surprised that he accepted the new name as well as he did. "Thanks, Broski." With that settled, and a sudden spring in Broski's step, They continued on down the path.
It was strange the things that quickly ensued. First thing was someone dressed in red and white, much like Santa Claus, gave Fianna a Poké Ball and called it a 'present'. Having been told that a 'cute' Pokémon resided inside of the Ball, Fianna opened it up and gave the blinding white light a moment to dissipate. And then, his emotions ran high with excitement. What he saw before him was a real Minccino; he couldn't believe that someone would just randomly give him a Minccino, wearing a Pink Scarf, that way, but who was he to complain about having such a damn cute Pokémon. He ran over to the fluffy gray rodent and gave it the biggest hug, fangirling for minutes on end. The Minccino was feeling uncomfortable being constantly fawned over like she was a piece of fresh meat, trying to fidget out of her stranglehold. She finally breaks free from his grasp and moves back 6 feet away from him. "Good to finally meet you too, Mistress. Please take good care of me...," she said, kneeling towards Fianna. My name is Shannon. My sole purpose in life is to serve the one who I recognize as my Master." Fianna found the idea of being a 'Master' or 'Mistress' a little odd. He didn't think he was privileged enough to be one, though he figured he was possibly working towards being a Pokémon Master anyway. "I appreciate that you're just sooooo cute, yet acting all serious like you're some sort of servant. But I think that I'd rather do my best to be friends with you and do what I can to look after you." Shannon got up off of her knee and took a couple of big steps forward. Mistress will make a fine Mistress. But, if Mistress wants to be friends with Shannon as well, then I can be the bestest of friends with Mistress too."
Broski climbed up onto Fianna's shoulder and, to his ear, he whispered, "I think this one's a little crazy for her to be calling you 'Mistress'." The Minccino's ears twitched and, with haste, she leapt up to the height of Fianna's shoulder and used her long, bushy tail to slash the air in front of the Buizel. Afraid of taking the blow from Shannon, he fell backwards and landed on his tailbone. As Broski rubbed his tailbone, Shannon landed next to her 'Mistress' and glared sharply at the Buizel. "I heard what you just said, you know. It's rude to gossip about others - especially if it's about Mistress!" Picking himself off the ground, he couldn't help but think just how sane she must be to keep up with such an act. Regardless, he half-heartedly replied, Good to have you on the team, too..."
Together, the three of them continued down the main trail, and didn't get far before Shannon reacted to something that she thought she found buried in the snow through swishing her long, bushy tail to brush away the snow covering the surface of the trail. Something pinkish and round-looking was peering through the surface of the trail. Shannon dug away at the snow around the object and it didn't take long before realizing that what had been dug out there was a pinkish Poké Ball of some kind. Fianna looked back, curious to see why Shannon was suddenly not keeping up with them. She noticed that the Minccino was carrying something round inside of her little paws as she walked towards him. "What do you have there, Shannon?" he said, suddenly intrigued by the item that she was carrying over towards him. Shannon dropped the Ball at Fianna's feet and knelt down. My Mistress, I found this round object buried under inches of snow along this trail. It appears like it could be a special Poké Ball of some kind."
Hesitantly, Fianna convinced herself that it was okay to pick the Ball up and take a look at what may be inside of it. Opening up the Ball revealed that it contained a Skitty. It hardly moved or even really spoke at the time it was released. Fianna could see that the Skitty was shivering so much, he couldn't help but want to try to help it get warm again. Taking one of the blankets out from his bag, Fianna wrapped the pink and beige kitten inside of the blanket, meanwhile Shannon picked up the Leftovers that came with the Skitty. "Mistress, you might want to make her eat from this food so that she can keep her energy up." Fianna quickly nodded in agreeance, taking the Leftovers and giving it to the bundled-up Skitty, who tried her best to take small bites of her hold item to recover some of her lost energy. As he had the kit firmly cradled in his arms, he looked down at both Broski and Shannon and said, "This little one needs as much heat as possible. Let's try to find a not so much densely wooded area that we can set up a temporary camp." Neither of his other Pokémon had any objections to that plan. Broski took the lead and looked back at the others. "let's keep looking until we find somewhere we can stop to help that Skitty."
Once again, they couldn't get very far down the trail, maybe another ten minutes worth of walking, before a tiny bird Pokémon appeared in the middle of the road. It looked as though it was pecking at some stone that was also there. "I think that Pidgey just spotted us! What would you like me to do about it?" Broski had returned to Fianna's side to inform him of the situation and to await further instructions. Fianna wasn't too keen on how he handled the last situation. He thought that maybe Shannon would be a little bit better at not trying to engage other Pokémon physically unless it was appropriate to do so. "Take a bit of time to rest, Broski," he said, and then gave the nod to Shannon. "Shannon, I would like you to try to ask it to move out of our way." The Minccino was surprised that the first command from her Mistress wasn't to try to engage it, but to try to negotiate with the little brown bird instead. Refusing to question the order she received, she went down on one knee again and said, "As my Mistress commands." She approached the Pidgey, worried just how seriously it would take being told to move out of a trainer's way. "You, Pidgey! My Mistress requests for you to move out from the middle of this path, so that we may continue to look for a clearing in these woods. I don't want to have to get rough with you, against my Mistress's will..."
