Roran sat against a tree, his head looking up into the leaves. "How could this have happened? I took my eyes off of her for one moment and...and...she's gone." He obviously felt as if he had to protect her. He looked to Pichu in his lap. Pichu had a look of pity on his little face. "Pichhuuuu," Pichu said in a sadened voice. He snuggled up against Roran.
"I'm fine. It's time she should be on her own, right? Maybe it'll help her..." But of course he couldn't shake the feeling that she was going to get lost and scared. "Besides, I have my own journey to worry about..." He was deep in denial but atleast for once he was trying to be optimistic unlike his usual pesimistic self.
Roran wanted to raise pokemon. He didn't care too much about battling but he would to help strengthen his own pokemon. "But we're going to wait around in this area incase she comes looking here, okay? So you can go play if you want..." He pulled out Shukun and Duskun's pokeballs and let them out. "Try and make friends with them," he told Pichu. Roran got up and looked at the two ghosts. "Hello, you two. I'm Roran, your new trainer, and this is Pichu. He's your teamate." It was an akward introduction but he had no clue on how to go about it.
Duskun continued floating where he was. Shukun on the other hand floated down to Pichu and gave a big smile. Pichu gave a big hello and jumped onto Shukun, causing him to nearly fall to the ground. Duskun continued to stay away from them and just floated by a tree. Roran smiled at his new team. This could be fun...

A small, guinea-piglike pokemon was munching happily on a bush of Cheri berries when you come across the slightly fugly pokemon. It doesn't seem to notice you at all, and after finishing the last of the berries, it curled up, and went to sleep.
::bidoof:: Wild Pokemon appears! [/sup]

"What is that?" Roran mumbled to himself. He pulled out his pokedex and pointed it at the pokemon. It wasn't long before a voice said, "Bidoof, with nerves of steel, nothing can perturb it. It is more agile and active than it appears." Roran looked to Pichu and Shukun who were both also staring at it. "Couldn't hurt to have another teamate, right?" Roran looked then to Duskun and Shukun. The Bidoof's attacks would work on ghost types. "Okay Duskun, use Night Shade while it's sleeping."
Duskun didn't move. He just levitated up higher into the tree. "Pichu! Pi-pichu!" (I'll fight!) Pichu squealed and leapt at the Bidoof. Shukun caught pichu mid-air and carried him back over to Roran. "Okay then...how about...Shukun, you know night shade too, right?" Shukun nodded and used Night Shade quickly.
OoC// How do you describe Night Shade?

(By using a black light that causes damage? lol.. I really don't know.)
<Bidoof!> The chubby guinea-pig like Pokémon cried, getting attack by the Nightshade. <Hey, who's disturbing my rest?!?!" The pokemon asked, getting frustrated.

"Shuppet-shup!" (I did it!) Shukun squealed with delight. Shukun floated around the guinea-pig thingy in a circular motion. "Shup-pet!"(Haha) Shukun laughed, "Shu Shup Shupppppet Shu." (Bet'cha can't reach me!) Shukun floated up and down in a playful manner.
"Good, it's awake!" Roran said with a grin. He was about to call for another attack, but seeing Shukun play with it was good enough for him. Pichu joined in on the taunting. Pichu climbed up a tree and looked down. "Pichu-pi pichu pichu!" (With those little legs, I bet you couldn't even climb this tree and reach me!) Pichu wagged his little tail playfully and stuck out his tongue. Even though it was a bit mean to tease, it was all meant to be playful.

The Bidoof's bottom lip quivered with a dubious, perplexed quality, and, frustrated, the rodent gnashed its teeth. Bluntly? Both Ghost-types had driven it up the wall to a point of piqued ire, and, chafed, the beaverlike entity promptly plopped upon its cottony tail. Said Pokemon briefly swivelled its head to cast them another decidedly irate glare, but again lapsed into what we may know as the 'silent treatment', gaze riveted to the ground as though something of abyssal importance lay there, silent as a rock.
Maybe if I ignore them, they'll leave me alone...
Seeing as the young Bidoof was well accustomed to consistent deriding from other forest-bound Pokemon ( being a doddering, sickly little thing didn't help with its reputation among others ), it had performed this behaviour so often that it was now at a stage of stark perfection.

"Pichuuu..." (Awww....) Pichu whined as he jumped down from the tree. He stumbled around for a moment, regretful he had jumped. "Pi Pichuu." (I'm sorry...) Pichu was strangely sympathetic no matter how playful and wild he could get. He may act all wild and immature, but inside he was very compassionate. Pichu didn't mean to hurt the creature's feelings. The whining of sadness caused Roran to look over at them.
"What did you two do?" Roran said imagining one of them pushing it out of a tree. "Hm...I think I have some food in here..." Roran said looking through his backpack before comming upon some pokefood his chef had made for him for his journey. "Would you like some of this?" Roran bent down near the Bidoof and held out his hand. It held a lot of pokefood, so Pichu snuck a couple little pieces. "You might like it," Roran said with a large smile. His sister and pokemon were his true weaknesses.

The Bidoof's lower lip protruded poutily -- or, at least, made an effort to, considering its widely exposed front teeth expanded the difficulty. Nuh-uh. Nothing could budge it... no apologetic pleas, no simpering whines, no...
Food.
The juvenile beaver lifted its nose, inhaling the rhapsodic aroma of a meal, and shuffled closer upon miniscule legs. Disregarding the Pichu's thievery, it placed either paw quite ceremoniously on either side of Roran's cupped hands and devoured its contents. It seemed to be of little concern what type of food it what, much less where it came from, for none of this made a difference. The rodent wolfed it down, and further inspection revealed prominently visible ribs lining its flank.

"You want more?" Roran said looking at his empty hand. "I guess it's about time I feed all of you." He had six small dishes for the six pokemon that he may carry around, so he took out four of them.
"Alright, here you guys go..." He took a handful and put it into each dish. He gave a bit extra into Bidoof's dish having seen the guinea pig's ribs. He took out an apple of his own and began to munch on it. His extremely overstuffed bag would probably get less stuffed quite quickly. Pichu quickly ran over and began to eat the pellets one by one. He even fed a couple to Shukun. Duskun however was far off to the side and only when Roran pushed his dish away from the group did he go to it and begin to eat.

ooc|| Yeah... I knew that. :'x Yeah, well, maybe that's though only berry bush EXISTANT? Mm-hm. That's it. Or maybe it just has a really high metabolism. xD
bic|| The Bidoof squealed and, like before, inhaled the edibilities set before it. The pellets didn't look immensely appealing, but the delectable aroma was enough to make the beaver keel over with delight. Salivating profusely, it lapped up excess crumbs from the depths of the bowl. Seating itself, the wild creature licked food daintily from its paws, eyes riveted rather suspiciously to Roran.
Yes, the giant had given it the most tasteful food ever to grace its lips, but... why? And what if it proved hostile later on? Or what if there was poison within the food? This notion was discarded swiftly. It tasted far too wondrous.

"I see you liked it...Well I'm afraid I can't give you more. I only have enough for my pokemon seeing as my sister has the rest of our food and we can't get much much until we get to the next town..." Roran said with a smile. Now why was he telling all of this to the Bidoof? Well perhaps he could befriend the pokemon. That was possible to do, wasn't it? And also maybe the whole food thing might entice the pokemon even more. "But if you really want food, you're welcome to come along with us. You could be a part of our team," he said holding out a pokeball. That was one way to get straight to the point.

<Bidoof?> The Pokémon asked, questioning itself. "If it means more food then what the heck!" The Bidoof replied, poking the pokeball with it's chubby little cheeks. You capture a Bidoof! Name: Gender: Male Level: 5 Attacks: Tackle, Growl Personality: Glutton

Roran smiled and said, "Good, that's what I thought you'd choose." Roran put the pokeball on his belt and looked around. Well that was the first pokemon he had actually caught. But still, it had gone willingly. Suddenly a cold gust of wind went by, causing Roran to shiver. He zipped his hoodie up and grabbed Duskun and Shukun's pokeballs in each hand. "It's getting cold, you two should probably stay inside your pokeballs for a bit." Roran returned the two and picked up Pichu. "Do you want to go in your pokeball two?" Pichu shook his head and climbed right up onto Roran's shoulder, he gave Roran a quick lick before fall back into the hood of the hoodie. He snuggled in there, where it was nice and comfy as Roran continued to walk through the forest, trying to find his way to the next town.

A small sparrow garbed in brilliant hues of navy, white, and russet was nestled quite cozily upon the branch of an aged poplar, wind setting its long tail astir upon occasion. The Taillow's head was concealed beneath one slim wing, faint snores emitting softly from its frame. With slumber came gentle dreams of migration and a warmer climate, for the wind nipped through even the thickest of its illustrious down, chilling its very blood. Needless to say, the creature was of a spring-appreciating variety; 'twas rare to find one away from its flock 'round this time of year, but such is nature. Some are merely late bloomers. [ Taillow detected, lv. 5. ]

Roran was about to walk right by the little pokemon until he hear pichu's squeals, <LOOK! A POKEMON!> Roran instantly pulled out his pokedex and looked around. When Pichu pointed towards it Roran smiled and pointed his pokedex at it.. "A taillow, huh? Weird to find a bird pokemon this late in the fall..." Roran looked to Pichu. "It'll be a good addition." Roran pulled out an extra pokeball to catch it after the battle, if he could that was. "Now, you'll have the advantage here, so I want you to use your electric attacks. So get near it and use thundershock. We have to get in a good first hit because it will be able to dodge more easily if it is flying."
Pichu nodded and looked up to the branch. Trying to be quiet, he climbed up the tree and got to a branch right above the Taillow. Now above the bird, he jumped down and use thunderbolt the instant before reaching the bird, that way he could get the most charge possible.

The Taillow allowed a cavernous yawn to cross its already generously oversized beak, lowering its wing in time to suffer the immensely effective attack. Its eyes appeared to bulge slightly, body consumed by a violent yellow glow that faded with a gradual reluctants. Filaments of electricity danced along its navy feathers, which were subject to a faint gray smoke.
The bird was near paralyzed, from both alarm and the more existant pain coating each vein. Its deep gray talons tottered unsteadily upon the branch, and either pupil was fixed to the offensive Pichu with a vehement intent. Scarce capable of mobility but summoning forth adequate strength anyways, the sparrowlike avian's orange-gold beak lunged forward with full intention of impaling the rodent's scrawny neck.

Pichu gave a happy squeal of his effective attack, but sudddenly he realised that the bird was attacking back. Roran was a bit too late to call for a dodge, so Pichu had to take the attack. But not knowing what to do, Pichu bent his head down, getting ready to take the attack. This caused the beck to land right on his head instead of his neck. As soon as the attack was landed, Pichu stumbled back, quite dizzily. He began to stumble backwards. But being on a branch did not help. Within three steps, he stumbled right off the branch. But luckily Roran caught him in the air. Pichu shook his head wildly, trying to shake off the dizziness.
Pichu suddenly jumped out of Roran's arms and looked to the bird pokemon. He scrambled up a tree and stood on a branch so he was at the same level as the bird. "PICHUUUU!" Pichu shouted sending yet another thundershock towards the bird. Pichu was clearly panting during the attack. Thundershock was an attack that took a lot of energy out from a Pichu.

The Tailow tried to scramble away, but the Thundershock reached and got him. The Tailow froze, paralyzed by the Thundershock. It then fell from the tree and landed on the ground, hitting it hard with a thump. "Tailow...Ta." It squawked before fainting.
Pichu gains 1 Level!
Now the Tailow lays Knocked Out, what will you do? Will you capture it or move on?

After that last attack, Pichu fell back into Roran's arms. He was panting heavily. "Good job Pichu," Roran smiled. Pichu tried to smile back, but it lacked the energy. Thundershock was a really draining attack for the little pokemon. "You won't have to battle again untill we get you to a pokemon center. He took out a pokeball and returned the little mouse. He looked back to the faintedTaillow. Well a flying type could be an advantage in future gym battles. Roran took out a spare pokeball and tossed it towards the Taillow, hoping to add yet another member to the team.
