That was the single most odd thing Skye had ever seen. "Oh my..." Her mouth hung open as she watched the two pokemon. "Wow that was..." Jay snorted. +Don't say strange, it doesn't even cover it.+ He muttered. "Well, maybe they're like sick or something." At that point Jay broke out laughing. +Yeah, sick in the head!+ He rolled on the ground, not even trying to contain his laughter.
Skye tapped him with her foot. "Jay, be nice, they could be sick or hurt." She didn't believe a word of what she was saying, but it was always possible. She looked down at the Lotad and Corphish. "I don't know, what do you two think?" She asked them. Jay wasn't going to be help, he was too busy laughing, laughing so hard he had difficultly catching his breath.

<Well I don’t see what the problem is.> The Lotad commented, in complete awe at how Jay suddenly turned into a rage of uncontrollable laughter. He simply couldn’t reason it out, and he ended up turning to the Corphish for advice. A questioning look in his eyes as he stared up at the red shellfish, who seemed to be in deep thought. After a couple of moments of silence, except for Jay’s maniac laughter in the background, the Corphish opened its eyes with a sparkle of humor in it.
He was snickering along with Jay, and soon began crying out with laughter! Waving his claws around until he fell onto the ground, clutching his gut in case it was going to explode form the harsh laughter attack he was suffering. Lotad took a step back with Skye, having absolutely no idea about what was going on, but he didn’t like not being included in the joke.
<Hey, who’s laughing like that? I mean, that’s just rude. Some people actually enjoy the peace and quiet out here.> The female complained to the over Budew, turning at the direction of the sound. She didn’t want to go over and investigate alone, so the male Budew was the first to shuffle through the bushes to see the scene before him. He frowned, the female peaking out shyly from behind him to make sure that there wasn’t anything overly scary out here that she couldn’t handle.

Skye blinked. "I don't know what has gotten into those two." She muttered to the Lotad. it wasn't all that funny to Skye, but it was to Jay and Corphish. She leaned forwards. "Stop it, you two, or you'll disrupt the... two pokemon..." She looked up to see the two Budew. "Oh, hi." she smiled and stood up straight. "Sorry if they, bothered you two." She tapped Jay with her foot. "Stop it!" She hissed.
Jay snorted and got up, still shaking with laughter. +Yes, I'm so sorry if I disrupted you two.+ He struggled ot keep his voice even and the laughter out. He gave a very sad look and looked up at Skye. +It won't happen again,+ He shook his head and closed his eyes. he was good at hiding his emotions, but right now he was having a great difficulty.

The Corphish paused to listen to Skye’s brief lecture, about to settle down when one of the Budew made that golden nugget of a comment. It froze in place, stiff as its mind tried to register what the crazy chick had said not long ago. Throwing its claw to its face, it cracked up all over again. Corphish’s laughter wasn’t as strong as it was the first time, but it was pressing on long enough to hurt its poor gut.
<Peace and quiet? You gotta be kidding me…> He roared out , snickering with amusement at the two Budew. Unlike Jay, Corphish was a little more blunt with its emotions and thoughts. It didn’t expect the two to take its words personally.
<You’re still laughing? And you, you think something is funny about us?> The female Budew wailed from behind the other. If there was one thing she couldn’t stand, was her pride being hurt by being made fun of. She was glaring at both Jay and Corphish, taking a timid step forward while the Male always took one step ahead of her.
<Maybe you won’t laugh as much if you get wet.> The male Budew cried out, shaking the top buds on his head to gather up drops of water he collected earlier. Shooting it into the air, it sprayed around the group as a mist, looking as fresh as a new morning with dew. It was a Water Sport, hopefully to scare these two ‘bullies’ off.

jay had stopped laughing by now, he was ontrolling his emotions better. This time he said it with all honesty. +I'm sorry, I won't lau!+ He stopped as the water hit him. +Hey!+ he growled, drawing back his lips and putting on a fierce look. his ears lay flat on his head and his fur stood straight up. Still to tired from the last battle, Jay wouldn't be able to attack without doing himself great damage, so he just stood there, snapping at the Budew.
Skye gasped as the mist of water hit her. "What the?!?" Out for pure instinct, Skye reached into her backpack and pulled out a pokeball, if the Budew attacked again, she'd attack back. Her eyes narrowed and her jaws set, she was ready for battle if it came down to it. "Jay don't attack... not yet at least." She quietly snapped ot her Shinx.

The female Budew gave her partner an unconvinced look, neither had believed that Jay was going to keep that promise, and now she was feeling more self conscious about herself than before. Neither knew what it was that was so freaking funny, but they knew that it somehow revolved around them. Sensing the fierce look on the lion cub’s face, the male Budew got into a protective stance, sending equally threatening glares back at the Shinx.
<Well you deserved it.> He protested to protect his actions, he would defend them alright, he felt like it was a good thing to stand up for oneself when provoked. He didn’t know if Jay would go off and make the first move or if he would, but one could never be sure in these tense situations.

Standing firm, Jay continued to growl and snarl at the Budews. He took a step forwards and he started to spark, but was cut off by Skye. "Okay!" She took Jay into ehr arms, wincing at the electricity that surged through him. "Let's not start a fight," She laughed nervously and took a step back. "Corphish, Lotad, let's get going. Really sorry to bother you two." She nodded and continued to take steps backwards.
+Oh, that little! Let me at him!+ Jay struggled in Skye's arms, he wanted to attack with spark, but he wouldn't hurt Skye. "Jay, let's go," It wasn't that Skye thought they wouldn't win a battle, she just didn't want one right now. Jay thought other wise, he jumped from Skye's arms and charged the Budew with a Spark attack. "Jay!" Skye screamed. Stupid pokemon, he wasn't healed, still very tired from the last battle.

[Claims teh cheyenne coin. Thankies! ;3]
Budew was all ready to fight, but had expected the trainer to be all: "Okay, let's go, we're gonna win, now!" Or some warning, so when Jay leapt from her arms and charged towards her, she was a little shocked. Well, at least this Pokémon had some life in him. There was a flash of light as the Shinxes body flashed with electricity. The lionlike pokémon barraged into Budew, the electricity leaping from Shinx and onto her, shocking her so much that she felt she could no longer move her limbs (though they were few and small). That's right, Budew was paralysed. Angrily, she attempted to use a mega drain, but all she could use was a puny absorb, pushing out some damage stealing green spores towards Jay.
[Btw, Shinx learns Spark at level 17, how does Jay know it?

[[You get a Cheyenne Coin!
And Jay know's that move because it was previously set at the Lab. It's what all the Shinx's knew at the time until the starter list changed. ]]

[Wait who gets the coin?]
Jay let the asorb hit him, not smart because of how weak he already was. Cursing silently, Skye sighed. "Fine Jay, you stubborn lion, Bite." She muttered, covering ehr face with a hand. "Honestly Jay." Jay was eager to fight, though tired, he still wanted to show those plants that he was better. Giving a small growl, Jay ran up to the Budew with a Bite, if he hit it just right, he could really hurt her, but he didn't as he started to feel the Absorb even more. it seemed to take more effect on him than wanted. Crap! he thought, this might hurt him more than her.

[[Only Mods get Cheyenne Coinis. =p ]]
Her body began to glow a dim green when the tiny spores went back to her, her wounds from earlier were slowly going away. It could have been better though, because she only get a quarter of the damage done against Jay. She detected weakness in him, and nimbly dodged with a sway of her body, making him lunge right past her instead. It was one attack dodged, but her movements were limited to a couple of spaces per turn.
’Ohhh….It hurts when I move my legs. I hope he stays still long enough before I lose control.’ She thought worriedly, starting another Absorb attack when she was thrown into a fit of spasms in her legs. She was forced onto the ground and was unable to get any farther, and if any damage was done at all, it wouldn’t be very much at all.

Jay felt the Absorb, but very little of it. Lucky him. He was breathing deeply. "Jay, please come back and stop!" Skye pleaded towards her pokemon. Jay smiled and turned back towards the Budew. +Skye, give me an attack or I'll just attack.+ He growled quietly. "Jay, alright, just Charge for a moment, calm down and Charge." She snapped, upset by her Shinx. Jay nodded, sat down, and started to charge what little energy he had left for the next attack.
She looked down at the Lotad and Corphish. "Has this ever happened to you?" She asked, knowing it probally never had. "It's so frustrating." She closed her eyes and waited for the Budew to attack again, knowing that Jay had one maybe two attacks left in him, depending on the next attack.

The female Budew seemed a bit irritated, like your worse history teacher on her period that seemed to be giving out extremely difficult pop quizzes from her rear end just because her husband is having an affair with the babysitter. (wow) The male budew on the other hand was more of the calm type and seemed like a pushover to his partner.
The female Budew had a stern look on her face and jumped up and down in rage. [ahhhh!!] she screamed for no reason and shot a water sport at the Corphish, nudging her partner to attack as well. Fed up and just wanting to please his partner by listening to her, and not make her any more irritated, he used absorb towards the lotad right after his partner's attack.

Skye was shocked as the Budews attacked Lotad and Corphish. "Hey!!" They were just sitting there, not even bothering the two. Jay was ready, he ran at the two Budews, trying to hit both of them with his High Charged Spark Attack! "Get those two, Stop them from hurting Corphish and Lotad." She glared at the two plant pokemon, mean, stupid, attacking her two friends. Jay growled and attacked quickly, if he hit both the Budews, maybe he would show them that they couldn't attack the two pokemon, he was the one attacking them! his eyes set on his target and ears back, Jay gave a sharp glare.

It really was a shame that there was so much water lying around the group with the most innocent reflections shimmering back at their owners. What this had, was the potential to really power up Jay’s electrical sparks. The Corphish shuddered from the cold mist of water but otherwise ignored it, choosing to stay on Skye’s good side while he still could. He (about time we give it a gender) was still stunned with Jay’s ferocious looks, the way he never gave up when he was insulted or mocked. Yet there was some type of admirable quality hidden in it, making him only want to look up to him.
<I have a bad feeling about this.> The Lotad quivered, noticing an even fiercer look of determination crossing the Shinx’s eyes when he prepared to charge forward. There was little warning to the next attack, only having a brief period of charging energy before a different type of charge was issued. Instinctively, the Budew huddled together with fear hidden in their eyes, not knowing what to make of their surprisingly formidable foe. Jay ended up ramming straight through them like a bowling ball through bowling pins, and they lay helplessly to the side, separated with fainted expressions.
A surge of electricity still covered their bodies, leaving them paralyzed on the ground. With all of the water surrounding the group, Lotad and Corphish received a bit of recoil from the attack as well. Cringing and suffering as an after effect.
Jay gains a level. Capture?

Right after Jay attacked, he too fainted. "Oh Jay," Skye's face became soft and she bent down and picked him up before sending him back. "We'll get him to the poke-centre." She looked down at the Lotad and the Corphish, who now has a gender... finally, and smiled weakly. "Let's move these out of the way so they can recover without getting eaten or even more hurt." She picked up one of the Budews and set it under a bush, covering it from other pokemon's views. Skye then smiled and stood up, walking along. "Come on, let's continue." She sighed and rubbed her eyes, a little tired. "Or, maybe rest." She waited for her friends to catch up. "Are you guys alright?" She asked, wondering if they were tired. "I mean, are you tired? I know I am." Giving a small chuckle, Skye yawned.

It was darkening, a good sign that the threesome should take a break and settle down for night before conintuing their adventures. Unfortunently, that wasn't going to happen any time soon for Skye and her two Pokémon alongside of her.
A two foot high orange rock, was simply, there, not but two paces away from the river. It was a very odd rock, almost red in color and with strange yellow bumps. It was also wet to the touch. It was hard, but squishy at the same time. Most trainers would be repelled by such a rock, believing it was a disese infected rock.
This time around though, the Octillery streached, revealing eight long tenticles as it yawned and stood. Spotting the trainer, he blinked his eyes as in almost disblieve or uninterest. Finally, the water Pokémon drawled. <Yo. Who are you?>
A wild Octillery has appeared! ::Octillery::

Skye had walked over to a tree by the waters edge and taken off her pack had pulled out another pokeball and was about to release a Pokémon to keep watch when the Octillery spoke to them. She sighed and craned her neck. "I'm Skye, I'm a trainer and these are my friends..." They didn't have names so, she just called them by what they were. "Corphish and Lotad." She nodded and glanced down at the two Pokémon. "Who are you?" Skye asked, her eyes half open, half closed in a drowsy look. She really wanted sleep but it looked like that wouldn't happen for a while. Oh well, there was always later that night, maybe.

The Octillery gazed at the three of them with a look of disinterest. When the trainer asked who he was though, oh that was another story. His eyes light up with amazement that anyone would ask who he was! <Me? Why I'm Octillery the 25th. My mother was Octill and father Octillery the 24th. I was born and raised here by that tree that you and standing by and never left since-> The wild Pokémon is so caught up in his heritage he will either bore you into sleep or let your have a clean get away to a quieter spot.

Skye blinked, trying to keep herslef awake, but it was hard, she nodded, looking as if she was really nodding to the story. "Oh that's nice." She rubbed her eyes, trying with everything she was to keep herself awake. "Well, I'm sorry if I bothered you, if it's alright with you we'd like to sleep by this tree tonight, it's been a long day." She nodded and looked down at Lotad and Corphish. "Right, we've been busy and need the sleep." Giving a weak smile, she put the pokeball back in her backpack and rested her head lightly there, though it wasn't very comfortable, it would make due for the night. Within seconds, she was asleep but not into a deep one, she could be woken if you made any noises.
