Misty saw she was about to be Tackled, but she didn't stop it or dodge it. She was alright with the other pokemon attacking, because she hadn't gotten attacked by this pokemon the whole battle. She did stop the Wrap thought, knowing the tackle would throw her attack off.
"Misty, While she's close, Thunder Wave." Skye called out, maybe that would make up. Misty however just smiled. She knew that it might hurt the other pokemon, but she did want to win to make her trainer happy. She let out a Thunder Wave, not as strong as the first, hoping to weaken the other pokemon. She had her sights set for winning, and she knew if she really wanted to, she would.

The Thunder Wave was plenty hard to dodge when far away, but in such close range made it pretty much impossible to escape from. The binding electricity held Carey in place as it shocked her, since she was still paralyzed it didn't have as much effect as it normally would. Besides suffering from a minor zap, she seemed alright.
"Use Bubble, keep her busy until the Thunder Wave wears out." The little girl commanded, getting worried about her water type all over again. With all of that electricity, if she got paralyzed on the wrong turn, it could be fatal when they need to Recover.
Carey was hanging in there, but with one attack that would be able to reach the Dratini wasn't helping her confidence. Shooting out a stream of carefree bubbles into the air, she created some type of bubble smokescreen. Simply going through it would slow a Pokemon down, making it easier for her to keep up with Misty.

Giving a small growl, Misty pushed through the Bubbles, she gave up and waited till they were over. "It's ok Misty, just try and do Wrap." Skye called, if Misty could Wrap it could make it easier for the next attack. The pink Dratini stayed put for a few seconds before sending out a Wrap attack, it might not work like she wanted, but it was worth a shot. Misty sent vines towards Carey hoping to trap her. She found herself to be a little slower and she realized it was from the Bubble attack.

Anne and Carey could both breathe a sigh of relief since the Dratini couldn't attack until the bubble shield was over, something to remember for later on. They didn't do much damage though, because Misty looked the same as before.
"What is that?" Anne gasped at the sight of the vines shooting out, this was her first time encountering a Wrap attack like this. Carey was just vulnerable prey by now, still under the effects of Thunder Wave left her trapped by yet another attack. Thankfully she was as hard as a rock, so it was as effective as the bubble attack from earlier.
"Just use Harden." Anne couldn't wait to see how this would turn out. She simply didn't have the patience as Carey visibly stiffened. Her defensive powers raising even more as a determined look came in her eyes, she wanted to win against this dragon as much as Anne did.
The trainer sensed another opportunity to make a strike, so she tried to move in quickly before Skye could have the chance. "Now use Bubble." She cried, not knowing if this would be able to help or not. She just felt like they had to do something, but they couldn't use Tackle when she was trapped like this. The Corsola made a faint nod, feeling stiffer from the effects of paralysis. So she wasn't sure if she could make the attack, but as she attempted to try the attack, it worked. A shield of bubbles hovering to Misty, one could see right through the shield, but it was distorted. Round bubbles could really confuse a person, and play a trick on the mind.

Misty was no longer having as mch fun, she was at the begining, but she was getting bored of this battle. She glared at the ground as the bubbles started to come back. "Misty, quick, Dragon Rage!" Skye wanted to get an attack before the bubbles were all there. She snapped her fingers, not that it would speed up the attack.
Giving a sharp snarl, Misty quickly let out a Dragon Rage, she'd done it once before, this time she made sure she created a powerful on, but you could tell she was getting tired, she'd been doing attacks and not getting attacked back. The powerful shock waves launched just before the bubble shield set in. A look of triumph crossed her face as she realized it worked better than she thought. "Oh, wonderful Misty, wonderful." Skye sighed in relief as the attack was launched.

The Dragon Rage had completely covered up Carey's bubble shield, and the most she could do was try another Harden to brace herself for the hurt. But it was all futile, because Dragon Rage was an attack that could pierce through any defense, making it very reliable when used correctly.
Once the harsh blue flames died away, the Corsola was left on the ground with a charred face. Twitching a bit as swirls replaced her usual eyes, a sign that she gave up and was unable to continue the battle.
"Oh no...Carey..." Was all the trainer could manage before sighing, she could admit defeat on this one, but the next round wouldn't be so easy. Returning the fainted Corsola to her Pokeball, refusing to show any kind of tender emotion to this meanie head, she gave a stern look over to Todd.
"Todd is up now!" She exclaimed, while the Politoad made a happy leap into the fray. In a battle ready pose while clapping his hands in excitement. It was only the fair thing to do by letting Skye make the first move. Who knows, maybe she wanted to switch Pokemon. He couldn't interfere in that decision.

Skye smiled as she thought she had won the battle. "Great job Misty, very good." Skye pulled out the pokeball and was about to return Misty, but her face fell when the younger trainer said it was her other pokemons turn. "What?!? But I won," She gave a frustrated sigh, she'd switch Misty out when she got tried, though that would be very soon.
"Fine," Skye muttered, stuffing the pokeball into her pocket. "Misty, Leer, a mean one, and then Twister." She growled, not happy at all. Seeing this new pokemon made Misty unhappy, she thought she'd won. +But,+ Shaking her head and gave Leer as mean as she could muster, then let out a powerful Twister, a new rage in her heart. She thought she'd won and it was over, this made her very unhappy with the Politoad.
Who would go in next? Skye looked at the Politoad, he was a water type, maybe electric? She frowned and paced a little. Her eyes were burning as she looked back at the battle. The ripping Twister neared the Politoad and excitment covered Misty's face. Though unhappy about the battle, she was very happy that she got to battle again.

Anne snorted to herself at this, so what if the other girl won that round? She wanted that Lotad no matter what. Giving the grass and water type a small wink, she turned her focus back into the battle. Thinking to herself that she would win this one really soon, seeing how tired and unhappy the Dratini was.
"Its okay Todd, just dodge and use Double Slap!" The trainer ordered, knowing that his defense was lowered a good deal from that Leer attack. Heck, Skye was leering at her enough already. Sending the girl another glare to try and get her to stop, she watched her Politoad in action.
Being a frog Pokemon, jumping was his specialty, and he could easily made a might leap around a twister attack. Letting it die out behind him as he charged at the shiny Dratini with his hands extended, prepared to hit her repeatedly until she was knocked out. Anne knew that she should have a hard time dodging just any attack, not with all of the bubble attacks Carey used against her.

Skye knew Misty wouldn't last long, so she pulled out two pokeballs, one was Misty's the other was her next pokemon. She waited till Misty was slapped, knocking her out. Quickly she called Misty back and threw out the next pokemon. "Come on Aet!" She called. "Spore!" Skye glared back at Anne, not caring that she shot her a glare. She wasn't going to let this girl win.
Aet was ready for battle, he loved it when he fought, though he never showed it. The Paras puffed out athick cloud of many spores, he was close enough to the Politoed that it would be hard for him to dodge it, but not impossible. Todd would have to jump very high and stay there for a long time if he didn't want to get hit by this.

Anne was shocked at the sight of the grass type, but resisted the urge to whine and complain about it. Paras were very annoying, that was for sure. With all of the status type moves they could use, it would be hard for Todd to dodge any of them. He could jump, but he couldn't stay airborne.
"Okay, we can deal with that. Counter it with Hypnosis." Anne exclaimed, wishing that Todd would hurry up with that attack before the Spore would take effect.
The Politoad sensed the urgency in her voice, and with a clap began the sleep inducing attack. Psychic waves were released into the air, right after the Spore was shot out. A thick green wave of spores were soon inhaled, quickly getting into his system. It took a couple of moments, but the spores did the job effectively, putting him to sleep in the middle of the battle.

Skye could see the shock in Anne's face, and she liked it. She paced for a second. "Hypnosis," She muttered. "Ok, Aet, try to stay awake." She frowned for a second as Aet swayed back and forth, starting to drift. "Come on Aet, stay awake!" Skye did everything she could, she shouted at him for a moment, which didn't help that much. But Aet stayed awake, hardly. "Alright, try and Scratch." She commanded.
Aet staggered towards Todd, stopping every few moments, trying to stay awake. He came up to Todd and lifted one sharp claw and brought it down to scratch, he then fell asleep after he scratched once. Giving a frustrated sigh, Skye frowned, but she knew Aet would pull through this.

The sharp claw didn't have as much effort as an awake Aet would be able to pull off, which was just fine, because Todd remained asleep through the entire attack. The Politoad couldn’t do much of anything except dream of a happier time in his childhood. The only thing he liked to think about these days, even the bad times were appealing to him. Rolling on over to his other side, the water type looked nice and snug on the ground.
Anne was beginning to get frustrated with the entire thing, with both Pokemon asleep she really wasn’t in the mood to continue with this battle. Plus, she needed Todd at full health if she actually wanted to battle with a Lotad. Or just in case of emergencies, you never knew when some Beedrill or Ursaring were going to attack you. The idea of pulling out certainly had its appeal, but she really was hoping that she would be able to win this.
The Lotad and Corphish kept looking at each other during the entire fight. Neither of them liked the tension between the two girls, and had gone to whispering at each other in a silent conversation. Sometimes they would lean in towards the other so they could make a funny comment about battle before them, snickering to themselves as they continued to watch the entertainment.
<So, imagine that girl as your trainer. What’s the first thing you want to do?> The Corphish asked, watching Anne and Skye’s frustrated glances at their sleeping Pokemon.
<Run away.> The Lotad snickered even harder, covering his face with his hands as the Corphish began chuckling to himself like a mad man. It was rude humor, but really funny for the two of them.
Anne finally had a bright idea, and just around now the Politoad was beginning to stir. A very good thing for her indeed, and she was quickly dancing in place. Anxious to see her Politoad rise into battle and beat the stuffing out of that Paras.
“Desperate times call for desperate measures, so go ahead and use Perish Song Todd!” The tiny girl exclaimed, making sure to dig in her pocket and pull out two cotton swabs. Plugging them in her ears before the water type began singing and clapping in rhythm to a horrible tune. His voice turned into a chant about life and death, hopping around in a circle Indian style to enforce the effect of the music.
It was important that humans didn’t listen to the effect either, or else they might get knocked out in the process. And that included the Corphish and Lotad. They were covering their ears like crazy, trying to resist and block out the singing, but there was nothing they could do. It was already imprinted in their heads, and they had no idea on what was going to happen next.

Aet didn't stay asleep for long, he woke up moments after he fell asleep. "Great Aet, qickly Scratch before Todd wakes up again!" Skye got excited, maybe this battle would get ove quicker than she thought.
Aet woke up and looked around, suddenly remembering that he was in a battle. He was about to shash when the Politoed started his song. Letting out a shrill cry he covered his ears trying to block out the song. Skye cringed and glared at Anne. "Aet, you only have three turns, Leech life, Leech all the life you can!!!" She screamed over the song. Skye hadn't thought of that song, she forgot about the stupid Perish Song. Forgetting about the Scratch, Aet went right over to the dancing and singing Todd and attacked with Leech Life. He was getting really annoyed at this Politoed.

Anne was getting excited about the whole thing, dancing around in place because she knew that time was running out for both Aet and Todd. But at least when this was over, you couldn’t say that she lost the battle. A tie was better than nothing, and she was willing to take that.
But a win would be better. Way better.
“Are you sure that that’s a good idea? Todd is really fast, so it’s pointless using head on attacks. “The young girl pointed out, watching with an amused grin as Todd swiftly made a huge jump into the air. Gaining more height because of all of the power he had in his legs, but he was a little late in his reaction time because the Paras had already sucked some of his energy while he was still using the Perish Song. And it felt like the move was used at full power too, something that irritated his right leg as a red mark began to swell up from the bite move. It was going to itch like crazy when this battle was over with…
“Okay, full power Water Gun!” Anne cheered, grinning at the thought of a grass type like Paras getting soaked to the core by it. It was true that being a grass type, it would be okay against some water type moves. But with the water falling down on it like that, you’d have to be careful not to drown as well. Something she found out when she tried to grow her own garden, too much water and the plants would die. She was only assuming that something good would come of this, if not, then she could always settle for that tie. As Todd fell closer and closer to Aet’s short figure, he shot out a well aimed Water Gun right at the grass type. Not only using it as an attack, but to cushion his fall to the ground as well.

Skye was still upset by the fact that Todd was beating Aet, she shot a nasty glare at the girl and frowned, water gun. She narrowed her eyes as she thought of a way to dodge that. There really was no way. "Aet, try and dodge it!" She knew he couldn't, but maybe it wouldn't hit as bad if he tried. Aet saw the Water and tried scuttling away, getting hit by most of the attack.
He shook himself off and growed softly, this displeased him greatly. "Aet, Poisonpowder! Poisonpowder!" Skye knew the battle was coming to an end really fast. Aet heard the deseration in Skye's voice and quickly let out a Poisonpowder. The Water Gun was taking its toll on Aet he started to cough and spit out water, water was good for plants, but too much wasn't so good, and he got a lot of water.

A frown soon expressed upon Annie's face as she watch the Poison Power started to approach Todd. "Come on Todd dodge that attack!" Annie shouted, as a smirk soon expressed upon her face. Unfortunately, not even Todd's high leaps couldn't dodge all of the powder. <Poli...Poli..> Todd coughed as the Poison Powder took effect upon his body.
"Come on Todd hang in there, and use Bubble!" Annie shouted loudly. Todd quickly leaped into the air and fired a ray of brilliant colors of bubbles over into the direction of Aet. However, as soon as Todd finish his attack his body become even weaker from the poison. Annie simply just forced a smile upon her face, knowing that the the battle was to end with her losing or either tying with Skye.

Skye frowned, this was the third attack, Aet's time was almost out. "Aet, Spore! Spore!!" She shouted. Aet pushed right through the Bubbles and let out a strong Spore cloud, right after that he fainted. Skye cursed silntly. What was she to do now? She won a battle and Anne won a battle.
"Um, now what? You won a battle and I won a battle." She fumbled until she found Aets pokeball and called him back. It was a tie, so what happens? The Lotad was still hanging there, Corphish by it. She frowned. Anne hadn't won the Lotad, but she hadn't lost it.

Annie soon show another smirk upon her face once she noticed that Aet had faint, but also in after the huge collisions of attacks, Todd soon fainted afterwards. "Just like I thought, we tied," Annie sighed walking over to Skye with a smile upon her face after returning Todd back into his pokeball for a nice rest. "You're a pretty tough trainer," she admitted holding her hand out for a hand shake.
OCC: Hmm, I checked the rules about levels during a tie and I really didn't see anything about not giving out any levels or anything like that so I'm still going to give you two levels to split with each Pokémon that took part in this battle ^^.

Skye kept a hard face as Anne walked over to her. She just looked at her hand, face blank. "Yeah, so are you." She took her hand and shook. "But what happens with the Lotad? You didn't win it, but you didn't lose it. I didn't win it, but I didn't lose it." Skye looked down at Corphish and the Lotad, who was still hanging. She sighed and looked back at Anne. "I believe we're at an impasse, sort of."
OOC: Ok thank you much!

"Impasse?" The little girl questioned with a small tilt of her head, but with her quick attention span she quickly shut the word out of her mind. There was still one thing that the two could do about the Lotad, even if they lost the Pokemon battle. She gave a tiny little smile at Skye, a mysterious one until she held out a fist.
"Now lets play Rock Paper Scissors! 'Cause someone has to win him!" She laughed, not sure if the older girl would take her seriously or not. But she put her hand behind her back anyway before counting out loud to three and showing her hand. Paper. But what would Skye do?
The Corphish burst out laughing at this, thinking the idea of a children's game over a life changing situation was a little off. Its idea of common sense was a little shaken by this, but it wasn't the one they were fighting over. The Lotad could only gulp as he watched the battle helplessly next to the Corphish.
