ooc: argh i would love to search for liepard, archeos, snivy, and druddigon but i been here for years lol linoone come here baby lol
Nick picked up the orb as he heard the ruffles in the bushes. Following the ruffles was a moan of sorts? Nick was curious to what kind of freaky action was taking place in the direction. Taller than the bushes he quickly spotted the pleasured Linoone. He was not worried about the bushes, just getting this Pokémon. Perhaps he had knowledge of getting out of this thicket. "Hey! Hey you!" Nick called as he pointed at the furry pet.

Right upon hearing the sound of the trainer, the Linoone quickly looked at Nick before attempting to run as fast as he could away from the action. >You will never get me!< He said as he tried to run away. He was one who liked to mark his territory, not defend it. He took a break from marking his territories at the time being as the trainer tried to chase after him, as he knew that trainers in this area were up to no good. Hopefully with his cool ability to cut through trees, he could find a way to trap the trainer before he could get to the Pokémon. He wasn't much of a battler, but he was a crafty and mischievous Pokémon. ooc - lolololololololololol damn the life of zeno. i was just saying i was quitting the search, and just going to get out asap since i been here forever. i fail at everything. and arionne you are everywhere - scary you secretly stalk-hate me. i need a sharingan.
Running after this slithering fella was doing the trainer no good. He recalled a prior occurrence in this forest, one where he was cornered and ambushed. He shuffled threw his pockets and found three Pokeballs. With a small he launched two forward, releasing his Ekans' before the Linoone. They would both use Glare - hopefully to lock him in place. If he was to avoid or turn around to dodge he would meet the eyes of Nick's Arbok.
::ekans::
All three were snakes and could keep up with the Linoone if need. But the expertise Nick was calling on was their ability to capture and ambush. This little guy was gonna give Nick some answers.

The ambush was simply too much for the Linoone who was caught off guard and quickly struck with an incoming glare attack that made him paralyzed. The other two had no impact after he was already still, and he stood there in fright. All he wanted to do was cut down places and mark his territory, but it seemed that was no longer part of the equation as he was hit with a powerful glare attack. But even still, although his body was frigid in fright, he still mustered enough courage to attack the Ekans to his right. In a swift move, he wagged his tail in front of all three snakes before charging head first onto the Ekans with a headbutt that hopefully would connect. He was going by pure adrenaline now. ::Linoone:: (PARALYZED) Level 24 | Male Pick Up || Gluttony Switcheroo | Tackle | Tail Whip | Headbutt | Sand Attack | Odor Sleuth | Mud Sport | Cut Personality: Obsessively marks his territory everywhere, but doesn't make much of an effort to defend it. This fella was trying to fight through, but it was three against one. Despite his attacks, Nick and his snakes proceeded still in a successful position. Nick clapped his hand, signaling his Arbok - which was the leader. The cobra opened his mouth and released a terrifying screech.
Following their leader, both Ekans shot Leer's at the Linoone. The clap was not only a signal for this defense lowering stance, but their finishing move. Swiftly the snake darted forward, golden fangs erupting from his mouth as he brought them down above the Linoone. His Thunder Fang would definitely be well recepted - hopefully strong enough to cause the beast to faint.

It was a fight for dear life as the Linoone struggled to fight away from the gang of snakes, but they were simply overpowering him. The leers were insane, and that screech was unbearable. He limped right out of the way from the Thunder Fang, seeing that it was in the top priority to avoid. This Arbok was one major foe, and suddenly a thought came to him. These guys wanted to take his territory, didn’t they? He gulped, worried about the fight as his fur bristled up in anxiousness.
He was going to have to get out of here, but somehow that seemed impossible. He was outnumbered, and his limbs felt sore from the paralysis. He was going to have to try and take down the leader if he wanted to get out of this. With a scowl he aimed a Cut at the Arbok’s belly, attempting to slice his claws into the serpant’s skin. It would be a nice thing, to have the snake fear the mammal. In fact, this almost reminded him of how Zangoose and Seviper feuded.
[[Also dude you need to fix your pc. The ‘on call’ thing is just bizarre. It’s like a loop hole around the Pokemon limit we have, and that’s not cool. ]]

ooc - smoothcakes.
Nick's smiled at the savory Linoone and his ability to use Cut. That was it, this was more than a silly battle. He had to snag this furball. The attack did not phase Arbok too thoroughly thanks to his ability - Intimidate in play.
Nick would point to his two Ekans and clamp his hand down. Meanwhile his Arbok simply slithered backwards as the Ekans proceeded. The snakes slithered across the grassy floor and opened their mouth wide. One Ekans would use Bite aiming for the Linoone's left - the other would Bite towards his right.
Nick spread his hands apart and closed his eyes as he made another thunderous clap. The Arbok coiled and used his shape to spring towards the Linoone. His mouth opened as if he was preparing to have the Linoone for dinner. The Arbok would use Thunder Fang to hopefully bring the Linoone near fainting.
Nick would walk forward as he hoped the little Linoone had some fight left.
Arbok is hit by Cut! Arbok's Intimidate is active! Ekans used Bite • Ekans used Bite • Arbok used Thunder Fang •

The Linoone was brave enough that he hadn't absolutely bolted just yet, but he was still quite intimidated by the gang of snakes that were surrounding him. Three on one, it was hardly a fair fight and even as a wild Pokémon he knew this.
Still, it wasn't like him to just give up when he was defending his territory. He managed to dodge one of the Bite attacks, but the Thunder Fang and another one of the Bites landed their mark. It was rather painful, especially with his lowered defence, but he wasn't going to go down quite that easily. At least there were no type advantages, then he'd really be in trouble.
Panting slightly but not quite ready to go down without a fight, the Linoone covered the area with mud and then rushed at the Arbok again with a Tackle. He hoped to weaken the power of the Thunder Fang whilst at the same time dishing out some damage himself. He might have been on the losing end of the battle, but that did nothing to shoot down his determination.

Nick smiled as the Linoone was beginning to realize he was trapped. He pointed towards his Ekans signalling him to use Screech. The mouth of the snake would open using Screech - as the Linoone charged Nick's Arbok. The screeching noise would further lower the defense of the little mongoose.
Thanks to Intimidate this little guy was really suffering some attack loss, which just kept this more of a game than a battle. Nick pointed three fingers at the Linoone - which led both Ekans to start spraying the furry creature with poisonous needles. Their Poison Sting was not strong, but it served it purpose.
Nick clamped his hands, signalling the head cobra to do his thing. Arbok opened his mouth wide as he prepared to Crunch the paralyzed beast. For a little immobilized bugger, he had some will.

The Linoone was seriously and unfortunately trapped as he really had nowhere else to go. The paralysis had sunk in and immobilized him from moving this time as he felt the poison stings come his way and smack him hard. And although those normally wouldn't hurt, the screeches did add up and in essence they all created a big problem for the Linoone who was unable to do anything about the attacks. When the king came with the crunch, it really left the Linoone in a very weakened state as opposed to the start of the match, and he started to really run out of options now. He stood there, curled up as a shell of his former self as he saw how he was captive in this situation. And with that, he just hoped the end would be near... "Good job Ekans." The trainer stated before returning one of the snakes. He would activate the orb once again, releasing the poisonous beast in a blue light. Nick knew at this level as a trainer he was only able to carry eight Pokemon. Arbok and Ekans turned towards their released mate.
Withdrawing an Ultra Ball, Nick proceeded to capture the Linoone. As he hoped for success, he would turn towards his serpent capture squad; a named he gave them. "To get out of this forest, we need that Linoone. I need you Ekans and wouldn't like for you to go." He spoke as he nodded towards his Arbok.
The cobra would extend it's body upward, conveying his leadership. "Arbok, bok!" He exclaimed. These Ekans were naturally followers of their leader, and now their trainer. Obviously, Arbok now respected Nick as a trainer; a leader might come later. Both Ekans nodded - even though one had no choice being still captured.
The wild Ekans would coil around his leg, while the entire team watched the important capture.

The ultra ball fell on the unfortunate Linoone who was too weak to continue fighting and within minutes the scavenging pokemon was captured by the trainer and his neat trick was added as a benefit for Nick who could finally get out of the route if he chose to do so. The Ekans that was recently released looked at it's family and then at Nick and quickly slithered away after the battle. At least it was freed, hopefully it's other family members would receive the same benefit soon enough. And hopefully the Linoone would also receive that benefit as it became an unfortunate treasure of the trainer and thus became a captive prisoner of Nick... Too bad, so sad. ::Linoone:: (Weakening) Level 24 | Male Pickup & Gluttony Switcheroo | Tackle | Tail Whip | Headbutt | Sand Attack | Odor Sleuth | Mud Sport | Cut

ooc - due to gymflation nick will be training now.
The young trainer would return all his Pokemon and release the weakened Linoone. The poor little creature was probably afraid of the trainer after the ambush. However, in Nick's way stood these vines and he now had the key to bringing them down.
Unfortunately this Linoone was not hip to Nick's nonverbal commands, so the calm trainer would have to speak. "Use Cut!" He ordered signalling the Linoone to cut him a path. The scared little forest rat would leap and use his claws to cut through the forested area. The trainer was now making his way to the next path in his life!
Nick is exiting Route 3!
