Vollu was a little confused by the small Seedot. She tiled her head to the side and frowned, shrugging, she growled at teh pokemon again. +Come on Resa, let's get another attack going.+ Vollu snarled.
Resa frowned but nodded. "Alright, Vollu, Sand-Attack." She concluded, still unsure if the Seedot should continue with the battle. Vollu seemed eger for this. She turned and ran from the Seedot; once she was a few feet away from the small pokemon, she turned around and ran back at it. Looking like she was going to tackle, but she fell short, tumbling into the sand around them, in the process, kicking up a large wave of dirt, rock, ans sand.

Even with its eyes closed, the Seedot could sense the incoming sand and rocks brushing against its body. It didn't really hurt, but from the pile of earth around it, it could tell that it would have a hard time moving around later on.
<Keep...attacking...> The Seedot muttered to itself, having a feeling of dread that Resa knew what it was doing. If she avoided using any physical moves, then the whole bide wouldn't be worth a dime! Grunting to itself, it felt some kind of energy come from within, but it couldn't be sure if it would be able to hurt Vollu. But, if it ended up retaliating double, then it had to do at least something.

While Resa was frowning, still unsure of what was going on, Vollu picked herself up and shook the sand out of her fur. She looked up at Resa and waited ever so calmly for the next attack. The Seedot didn't seem to be doing anything at the point and this made Vollu a little unsure. "Oh, right, um Bite." Resa blinked. Giving a confused look, Vollu slowly walked up to the Seedot and attacked, wary of what was to come.

As Resa and Vollu became unsure of themselves, the Seedot found its bide attack becoming overwhelmingly hard to control. They had to make a decent attack on it soon, or lickity split would happen.
Its prayers were answered when Vollu made a nasty little chomp on its head, not even flinching, even letting a little smile escape from its eyes. About time...Hope you like DOUBLE of what I endured! It thought with an evil chuckle, the only warning the dark type would have until its final Bide was let out in a bright burst of energy. Oh, how relieved it was to be able to let all of the energy go. It was almost worried that nothing would come out at all, but compared to its other Bide attack results, this one was small in comparison.

Volly barked in surprise and howled in pain as the attack worked. She ran behind Resa only to growl and step forward. +Come on Resa, give me a good move.+ She barked at her trainer. "Oh alright." Resa was surprised at the little pokemon, but that didn't stop her from attacking. "Ok, Vollu Roar again." She commanded quietly. Vollu took another step towards the Seedot and started a low growl. +Teach it to mess with me.+ She snarled and let out a loud Roar.

After the success of the bide attack, the Seedot felt its will to battle slowly shrink away as it fell on the ground. Panting in as much air as it could in hopes of recovering, the grass type could only hope that the next attack wouldn't knock it out.
As Vollu sent out her terrifying roar, the Seedot fell backwards from the force of the attack. Like a stranded whale it kicked randomly into the air, trying to regain its balance, but it was simply trapped on the ground.
Not that it mattered, it was too tired to fight either way. Giving up, the Seedot calmed itself down long enough to appear like it fainted. It didn't feel in the mood for talking or anything sportsman like, the only thing it felt like doing was sulking, if anything.
Well, I guess I lost... The Seedot thought as it rolled onto its side, sighing as it tried to sleep in the bright sun. Just to try and recover from the day's harsh training, and who knew, maybe it would evolve sometime soon. It certainly felt stronger.
Vollu gains a level, capture or move on?

Vollu sat back and smiled, success covered her face. "Great job Vollu," Resa told her as she pulled out the pokeball and called Vollu back. She didn't want to wake the Seedot, so she just backed away and left. It was easier after she had a nice battle, one that she was asked to join, not just attacked. Resa headed on her journey towards the bridge again, hoping to get there before she was either attacked or interupted again.

Finally, a giant bridge came into view from atop of a grass covered hill. Colorful flowers decorated the flat area around the huge pond. Even farther in the distance was the Ville du Grand Pont: City of Water, high skyscrapers touched the sky as the cover of dark clouds hovered mysteriously above the city. It looked as if the weather was about to take a turn for the worst, at least in the city. But if anything, it was always possible for it to head over to Route Two, but there was a good deal of time before that happened. Enjoying himself in the water was a young Pokémon trainer, a fat inner tube blown out around his waist as he twirled around in the pond's warm water. His moppy brown hair and wrinkled skin were signs that he had been in there for quite a while, but he didn't care. He would even swim in a thunder storm, since he mom couldn't tell him not to. She was back in the city anyways, and he was an official trainer now. No one could tell him what to do! "Wooper! Chu! Stop splashing!" The boy laughed as two playful Pokémon swam on each side of him. The two antennae attached to Chu glew against the bright skies around the Route as they swam closer and closer to shore. It was a trick the two of them used, because Thomas wasn't as good a swimmer as he claimed he was. And as long as he was in the shallow end of the pond, they were relieved and could play in safety. <Hey! A human.> The Wooper announced at the sight of Resa in the distance, grinning cutely as it circled around the boy's inner tube. His slippery tail sending Thomas into another spin as he squealed with delight.

Resa could hear splashing and laughing, but she didn't see who was making it. "Oh," She smiled as she saw the pokemon and the boy in the water. Resa loved the water and always loved to play around in it. "Hi there." She stopped on the bridge and looked over to the boy, waving. She looked at the pokemon and laughed. "They're so cute!" Her blue eyes sparkled.
(Cries, I just can't think or do anything this week... *sighs*)

Thomas finally slowed down to a stop, laughing all the way as he was greeted with a polite 'Hi there'. Blinking before bursting into another smile, the boy waved over at the girl from the pond's waters. As soon as she was close enough, he began to swim his way closer to the bridge and the girl, kicking as hard as he could.
"Hey, I'm Thomas. " His face beamed with pride as his faithful Wooper emerged from underwater, his friendly face tilted in a smile as he looked at Resa. Sensing a kind soul from within her, he had no problem with his trainer talking with the girl.
From the back, Chu floated silently in the water. Just silently sliding up to her trainer's side as a reassuring smile from everyone let her know that Resa wasn't going to hurt the boy. At least, that's what it appeared to be. You didn't know who you could trust these days!
"Yep! I caught them myself in this very pond. They love being able to come back here, and sometimes I get to play with their friends." He chuckled to himself as one of his skinny arms reached over to stroke Chu softly on the head, before giving a toothy smile over to Resa.
"Hey! You wanna swim with us? "The boy exclaimed, the idea of swimming with another trainer and her Pokemon was an exciting thought.

Resa smiled at Thomas. "I'm Resa, and I don't really have anything to swim in." She looked down at her jeans and shirt. "Sorry, but I'm sure some of my pokemon woul love to." She took off her backpack and pulled out a couple pokeballs. She opened them and a Remoraid jumped into the water and swam around the boy. The other was a small Eevee that jumped into the pond and swam to Chu. Resa quickly rolled up her pants into shorts and stepped into the water. "I can't swim, but this is close enough for me." She stood in the water and the Eevee quickly swam towards her and stood by her side. This is Jutut and Bell." She pointed to teh Remoraid then the Eevee.

'Resa...Resa...Resa...I think I can remember her name.' The boy thought with a grin as he began repeating the name mentally over and over. The worst thing he could do, at least to him, was forget a person's name.
Wooper and Chu looked at the Pokeballs in excitement as they prepared themselves for the Pokemon inside of them. One was a familiar species, a Remoraid. Thomas giggled as he felt the water type's slippery fins brush against his ticklish skin. The other one didn't look like a water type at all, but they saw pictures of the species before. Apparently they're really rare around these parts.
"An Eevee? Where did you catch it?!" The boy exclaimed, not expecting to see such a cute little sight. With mop-like fur, the little one still looked like it was having fun. Wooper quickly swam around Jutu playfully, giving her a wide smile as he swam right along beside her. Trying to keep up with her speedy movements.

Resa found a rock and sat down on it. She dipped her fingers in and smiled up at the boy. "Oh, I bought her and have had her for a while now." She reached down and ran her hand along the Eevee's back. Bell smiled and jumped into the water and swam over to the boy. She titled her head and put her paws on the boy's tube. +Eev, eev.+ She purred. Her fox like tail swishing back and forth in the water. As Resa talked to the boy. The Remoraid swam about the Wooper. She dove deep into the water and jumped out a few times, trying to play a game with the pokemon. +Rem, Rem. Play with me.+ She pleaded. +Please,+

Giggling at the Eevee's mere cuteness and her constant begging to have attention earned a couple of loving strokes from the child. Even when her fur was all wet and messed up, it was as soft as velvet. He began lightly spinning the tube around, making sure that the Eevee wouldn't fall off, but since he was just a little boy, he had the mischievous nature to see if the critter would try and hold on or just give up.
The Wooper gave a gay smile (MEANING HAPPY) at the Remoraid before taking up on her offer. How could he resist such an offer from a cute girl? He might've been developing some kind of crush on the water type as he swam after her, but thought nothing on it. Chasing after her in a game of tag, at least he assumed, his slippery body gaining speed as he let out a laugh.
<I'm catching up!> He joked as he made a swift leap up into the air. Getting a good view of the Remoraid so he could land at just the right angle, getting a little water in Resa's direction before landing right in front of Jutut. Not even realizing that a collision might happen if she didn't have good brakes.
From up above, those storm clouds were coming ever softly. Thunder could be heard echoing in the distance. Minus the lightning, but it only made the situation that much worse. It would be a HUGE storm when it came, even the air was getting a little colder as it approached. Chu was the first to actually sense the static electricity gathering in the air, her lights glowing extra bright as a chill went down her shoulder. Nudging her trainers inner tube, trying to avoid Bell's giant tail as she attempted to get his attention.
<We really should get out, sir. I don't wish harm upon you.> She murmured softly as she attempted to push him to shore, but he rolled his eyes. Kicking in the water so he could stay out in the deep end, and ended up surprising the Chinchou.
"We don't need to leave yet. Its still afternoon. " He said with a bit of pride in his voice, because he loved being the boss. It was why he became a trainer in the first place, so he could be responsible like an adult.

Bell laughed as she spun around on the tube. Jumping into the water, she made a small splash and swam towards Chu. +Hi,+ She purred softly. The Eevee was having the blast of her life meeting all these new friends. Her fox ears twitched as she heard the strom, but thought nothing of it. Why ruin the fun?
Jutut was having more fun than Bell and Resa put together. She swam quickly through the water, laughing as the Whooper said he was gaining on her. She turned around to see the Whooper jumping at her. +Ah!+ She giggled as the pokemon landing in front of her. Lucky for her, she put on her brakes just in time. +You still can't catch me!+ She turned around and swam off.
When the starm was close enough to be seen and heard, Resa stood up and got out of the water. "Oh dear, Jutut, Bell, come back." She called to her two pokemon. Bell responded first. She quickly swam over to Resa and shook off, sitting quietly at her feet. Jutut sighed and swam over to Resa, she was fine in the water, but the others might not be. "I'm sorry, but I need to get my pokemon out of the water." She pulled out a pokeball and called Jutut back, leaving Bell sitting by her side, still damp. Her fur was puffed out so she looked like a puffball.

Thomas looked at Resa, confused as to why she would return her Pokemon when it was still perfectly fine over here. Clutching onto his inner tube, he kicked closer and closer to the bridge when a burst of thunder exploded into the air. Quickly, the dark clouds began to hover dangerously over the area as Chu began to panic.
<You must get out! Quickly!> She urged, knowing that she would be safe since she was an electric type. But that wouldn't be the case for their trainer, Thomas. Humans were so fragile, and it was easy to fret over them. Thomas reluctantly agreed to get out of the pond, hopping onto the bridge to and reaching into one of his pockets. Both of the Pokeballs were in there, but he only returned Chu. Since Wooper had legs, it would be alright if he kept at least one of his friends out.
<I think its gonna get much worse...> The Wooper whimpered as he jumped onto the bridge, right next to the soaking wet Eevee. Sure, the colder air didn't bother him as much, but a simple glance from Thomas made him frown. He only brought a t-shirt to keep himself warm. A burst of lightning soon interrupted the Pokemon's thoughts as it struck against a nearby tree, igniting it as a downpour of rain went down on the group. Thomas looked around in a panic, he was now feeling cold, and miserable.

Resa was about to agree with Chu when it started to pour. She had hat to cover her head and keep it dry, but not for long. "Come on, we need to find shelter." She wrapped her arms around herself and looked for some sort of shelter. Bell nearly jumped out of her skin when the thunder and lightning. She hudled next to the Whooper, her eyes wide with fear.
There was a tree near by, Resa knew it was dangerous to be under anything tall in a lightning storm. "How far away is the village?" She asked Thomas. If it wasn't too far, maybe they could run and be safe. If not, they were in trouble. Bell gave a slight cry as more thunder and lighting ripped across the sky.

The boy huddled close to the group, already shivering harder and harder as the rain poured around them. He was never in such a dangerous situation before, it he felt helpless. The next village was the city across of the bridge, and that was already a long enough walk as it is.
"Its too far..." Thomas whimpered as he gave a fearful look to his Wooper. The water Pokemon tilted his head in concern as he tried to think of something that would be able to help out the group.
<What if we hid under the bridge? Like, in the shallow part of it...> He questioned, not minding it for himself. But would the humans be alright?

Resa shook her head. "This isn't good. And if we hide under the bridge, the lightning might hit the water and that would be good for us." Never in her whole life had she ever been in such a problem. She was wet, cold, scared, and in danger. Bell was having alot of trouble, she was shivering and jumping at every sound. Resa bent down and picked up her scared pokemoon, trying to warm her and comfort the poor thing.
"Well, I don't see anything we can go to for shelter." Her eyes were full of fear as another crack of lightning shot across the sky. She turned to Thomas. "Well, let's get off the bridge and see if there's anything on the other side." She didn't wait for an answer, she just walked off the bridge and started to look for something that could be shelter for them.

Thomas weakly followed Resa, feeling safer when he was with the older girl than just being alone with his Wooper. The two felt their eyes scan across the area with a pitiful moan. All that he could see were various ponds and clear fields and hills.
They could always head back to the Electric City. But it would be safer to cross the bridge to the Water City. Then, Thomas got an unusually bright idea. Chu wouldn't be able to attract lightning on her own, but if she sent out electrical discharges, then they wouldn't have to worry about the lightning.
"I think I got an idea. The lightning won't hurt Chu, because she absorbs it very good. We could cross the bridge to try and make it to the city. I think there should be a small cabin right at the end of it, for trainers..." He responded, finally recalling the small area he passed on his way to the pond. Certain things you didn't remember until the most random moments, and this appeared to be one of them.
