Resa nodded. "Wonderful idea." She held her pokemon closer and waited for Thomas to catch up to her before setting off for the Water City. "That would solve the lightning problem, then we'd only get wet." Which wasn't good, but was better than two problems. "Are you sure about the small cabin?" She asked. Resa wanted to make sure that all of them would be alright.
She took off her hat and wrung it out, slapping it back on her head, she rubbed her eyes. "What an adventure this is turning into." She chuckled. Bell softly purred. +Let's hurry, I'm all wet.+ She looked up at Resa, then at Thomas. He looked far more cold than she. Bell wished there was soemthing she could do to warm him up.

Still shivering, the boy gave another nod over to Resa as he looked far through the thick cover of rain. Already the ground was getting wet, and mud puddles were forming wherever you looked. Right now, the only danger would've been to slip on the bridge. A possibility with all of the water on it, but it wasn't something Thomas was thinking of as he scooped Wooper up into his arms. Following Resa as quick as his scrawny legs would allow him through the thick thunderstorm.
A blast of lightning whipped at the place they once stood, leaving bits of ashes and grass in its place. It was now that Thomas began to get even more frightened than before, and the sight of the cabin was a big breath of fresh air. Resa should've been able to of seen it first, he led the way to it anyways. Since the door was always unlocked for travellers, he simply let themselves in as the thunder pounded against the roof.
"I'm glad we made it." He muttered, kneeling down to the ground. His hair was soaking wet, and water was dripping all over the floor from where he stood. With Wooper by his side, one couldn't tell which was the wetter of the two.
<We might be here for a while...> He muttered as he waited for Thomas to close the door. Hopping across the dust covered carpet with drops of water trailing behind him to get a better look at the place.
It all looked so warm and clean, if not a little old. No one had used it in a while, that was certain. But with all of the cabinets, the sink with running water, and a fireplace that was just eager to be lit, it would last for at least a day.

Resa ran after Thomas, Bell snuggled in her wet arms. She ran into the cabin and closed the door behind them. The wet Eevee jumped down from Resa's arms and walked over to Thomas. She sniffed him, her eyes full of concern. She sat down and looked up at him with big eyes. While Bell was fussing over Thomas, Resa was looking for some wood and matches. She dug around in a drawer until she found a small box, then walked over to the fireplace, knelt down and put some of the logs in it. Striking the match and setting it in fireplace, the fire egerly licked at the wood, soon ther was a small fire, growing larger.
"I'll go look for some blankets or something like that." She stood up and walked over to a cabinet and opened it. There wasn't much only two blankets, one small and one a little larger than the first. She pulled them out and walked back to Thomas. Dropping them on the floor, Resatook the smaller blanket and started to rub Bell dry. "That should keep you warmer." She nodded towards the blanket and the fire, both would help dry off the wet boy and pokemon.

Thomas could only nod as he eagerly wrapped himself around the large blanket, edging closer to the fire as a warm smile crossed his face. Sure, he was scared. But he wasn't alone in this pitiful situation, and the two were fine right now. With a fire and blanket to keep them warm, but Resa didn't have one. Something he just noticed as he watched her dry off the tiny Eevee. Her fur looked damp still, but at least she wasn't a walking mop.
Wooper was making himself quite content, hopping into one of the sinks as he toyed around with the dials. First it was super cold! But after a couple of seconds, the hot water began to kick in, and the Wooper had his very own hot tub. Making a content sigh, he lazily leaned against the metal base to grin at the group. Everything was okay now, and they were out of that blasted weather. In the background, another burst of thunder shot out for all to hear. It was to be expected, since it didn't sound like it was going to let up anytime soon.
"What 'bout you, Resa? You look like you're freezing." The boy responded, she did look wet still. She should use one of these blankets, not him. He was getting a little dryer now, all except for his hair and clothes.

Resa sat in front of the fire and stroked Bell, something about the flames licking th wood mesmorized her. She didn't blink as she watched the flickering fire. "I'm fine," She was still wet, but drying fast. Bell shook her fur and licked a paw. Just then, Resa remembered how tired she was. The mixture fo the heat and the cabin, nolonger being out in the cold. Her eyelids started to become heavy. The only thing keeping her awake, was the constant licking of Bell, she kept licking her hand and snuggling against her leg. +Resa, when will the storm pass?+ She would ask. "I don't know." Resa stood up and walked around, trying ot figure out what to do. This would delay her journey, a little. if she doubled her pace, she could go faster, but then she would miss many pokemon. Resa sighed and took off her hat, ran her fingers through her hair, and wrung her hat out. She paced for a moment, then slapped her hat back on and sat back down.

The Wooper suddenly became every still, listening intently to the storm despite the background noises around him. Bells constant questioning, Thomas's sniffling, and Resa's pacing, and of course, the storm around them. His antennae twitched occasionally to try and listen even further than the house and storm around him. Thomas suddenly changed his sights to the Wooper, noticing him as soon as he turned around to warm his back.
"I get it...You hear the storm, don't you?" Thomas whispered, watching his water type expectantly. This was not a skill that was hidden from him, in fact, it happened almost every time there was a long thunderstorm. The Wooper would always be on the lookout for storms, and if he really wanted to, could predict when they would end.
<Very soon.> The Wooper replied with a bright smile, trying not to make the child even more disappointed. Plus, it was true. They wouldn't be stuck here for the night at least, but they were still trapped in here for a few minutes.
<I don't sense any Lightning...So it should be kinda safe outside. I wouldn't want you to leave just yet Thomas, you look a little sick already.> The Wooper responded to the boys red nose, but assumed that if Resa really needed to leave, she would be able to. The town wasn't far off, and with a Pokemon Center to boot.

Resa stood up again and started to pace, again. She couldn't help herself she really wanted to get out of here. Her pokemon sat there and watched her, wanting to comfort the trainer, but not knowing how, so she just walked after Resa, a worried look on her face.
Bell finally stopped following Resa and sat down by Thomas. As the Whooper spoke about the storm, Resa stopped. "Wait, is it safe for me to go?" Bell looked up at the Whooper with eyes just as hopeful as Resa's. Quickly, she darted to the door and looked outside. it was still raining, but not as much. She looked back at Thomas and frowned. "I want to leave you," She saw he looked a little sick.

Thomas gave an understanding nod at the girls request, he really didn't mind. As long as he had his Wooper to take good care of him, then he would be just fine. That Pokemon was almost like a father figure to him anyway, except one that he could play with whenever he wanted.
"Go ahead. Its fine by me." He said with an innocence to his voice, turning around to see if his Wooper would be fine by this. The water type certainly didn't seem to mind, and it wasn't going to be one of those teary good byes seen in the movies.

Resa smiled and walked outside back into the rain, but Bell stayed inside and ran over to Thomas. +Bye!+ She then jumped up to the Whooper and smiled. +Bye,+ Bell jumped down ad out the door. She couldn't leave without saying good-bye to her new friends.
Resa walked away from the cabin and towards the village, it wasn't far away, but she would still have to walk for a good amount of time. "Come on Bell, let's get going, hate to stay out in this rain." She already wrung her hat out again and slapped it bak on.

A herd of Mareep were chanting with joy at the last Thunderbolt from the sky, the electricity was a feast to them. It was a big party, where one would dance under the flickering lighting bolts as the rain poured around them. If one was struck my lightning, you were considered good luck to the herd. Not only that, but ones fleece would grow larger and larger with the extra electric boost.
One would think that Nature's greatest weapon would've hurt them, but honestly it barely burned them. With the cooling effects of the downpour, all of the electric types had a reason to flourish.
A pair of Mareep noticed the girl and her Eevee after an unsuccessful storm for them, since they weren't blessed with good luck, they had to find other distractions. While everyone else crowded around the larger Mareep, these two gave knowing nods. They could get electricity another way, if not by the ones in the sky.
"Mareep?" The first of the pair asked, a male. His wool was completely soaked, as was every other Mareep in the herd.
<What brings you over here?> The other male questioned, using more words than his socially awkward friend. Hopefully the strangers didn't bring ill thoughts to the herd, and had good intentions. But maybe they were lost, the male reasoned as he took a look at the tiny Eevee. She looked terrible out in this weather, but somehow content.

Resa wasn't having the best time, but Bell was doing fine. She was begining to like the rain. +Oh, Hi!+ She ran up to the Mareep and looked at him. +We were traveling, then we found a trainer and went swimming and then it started to rain, and lightning and thunder; it was bad. But we found a cabin, but had to leave cause we need to finish our journey.+ She told the Mareep with a smile. Resa walked up behind her Eevee and looked down at the Mareeps. "I'm sorry, is she bothering you?" Resa hoped her pokemon wasn't causing any trouble. She looked absolutally miserable in the rain, her hair was heavy with water, her clothes soaked, shoes full of rain water. But none the less she tried to keep a smile on her face. Bell gave a small laugh. +I wasn't bothering them, I was just talking.+ She shook herself, spraying water everywhere.

The two males nodded their heads in response, but the more social Mareep couldn't help but think that she was rambling a bit much. But he was used to it, since his friend had a habit of doing the exact same thing. Speaking of him, he was even more curious about the Eevee's story, but just couldn't think of the right question to ask. There were so many of them, that he was just about to become a loose cannon with them.
<Don't worry about it!> The other male butted in before he could begin launching random questions at the strangers, sparring them from a horrible fate. The first male blinked a couple of times before blushing a bit, feeling a bit weird with these new people.
<So what's the journey? And what are your names?> The second Mareep asked with a cheerful grin, the two sheep laughing as Bell got them even more soaked than before.

Resa covered her already wet face to avoid getting even more wet. "I'm a trianer and I was just traveling through. I'm Resa and this is Bell." The little Eevee smiled and puffed her chest out. +That's right!+ She looked up at Resa, pride in her eyes. +That's me, I'm Bell.+ She stood up her tail a little puffy, when she looked back and saw her tail, she went crazy. Bell started to chase it in a circle before she fell over, her eyes spinning.
Resa laughed and shook her head. "Oh my, Bell." She knelt down and tapped the fox pokemon on the nose. The brown fox tilted her head to the side and looked up at the Mareeps. +Wow, you're big!+ She exclaimed, her eyes bulging. "I'm sorry, she can be a little crazy at some times." Bell pawed and the second Mareep's leg. She growled playfully and jumped up, runing around and jumping at ramdom times.

The two Mareep bobbed their heads in greeting, glad to hear the names of these new strangers. Being such social Pokemon, they had their own names of course. The bolder of the two stepped forward to introduce himself to the duo.
<I'm Static, and this is Mar. ((M-air))> The duo grinned at Resa and bell, glad to have some friends that were unique. Everyone else looked exactly the same, except for one Mareep that was proudly strutting his extra large wool in front of the herd. Each Mareep eyed him jealously, some rubbing against him to try and snag some of his good luck.
<I'm that big? > Mar laughed, carefully trying to dance around the Eevee's hyper movements. Really enjoying himself as he made a playful jump over Bell's head, just turning around when the third Mareep noticed the group with envy. Already walking to them with a smirk plastered on his face, Mar began to slink back with a timid expression on his face. He could never speak up when this one was near by, simply because he was always being picked on by him.
<So, what are you guys doing so close to strangers? Pretty odd, for a bunch of nobodies. Or are you maybe traitors, by leaving the herd?> The third Mareep had his face in a sinister smirk, walking right behind Static to give him a sudden scare.
<What do you want, Jolt?> Static muttered under his breath, trying to keep himself from making a mess of himself in front of his new friends. Jolt just smiled at him, right before shoving him violently to the side. Earning a cry of shock from Static and Mar, giving Jolt fearful eyes as the two slinked together.
<And what are you doing? Hanging around with a human...Despicable...> He spat out in the other Mareep's face, leaving Mar silent. Nervously looking down at the ground, doing anything in his power to avoid this one's gaze.

If it were possible, Bell's eyes grew wider. +Oh! Static. Fun name. And Mar, sweet!+ She smiled. +Yeah, you're very big, I mean look at me, I'm tiny compared to you!+ This wasn't all that true, but Bell thought they were much larger than her. She watched with an open mouth as Mar jumped over her. +Oh!+
Enjoying every second of this, Resa smiled, glad that her pokemon could meet another. Her smile faded as the third Mareep came over. It was easy to see this one scared the other two he looked like a bully. "They're not leaving the heard, just giving some help, being kind, maybe you should try it some time." She folded her arms across her chest and rested on one hip.
+Jolt? Oh fun name, you guys have such cool names.+ Bell didn't realize that Jolt wasn't very nice, not until he called haning around with humans despicable. She then got upset by that. +Hey, it is not!+ She growled, standing up and showing her sharp teeth. +Mar and Static were just being kind.+ She puffed out her fur, hoping to make her look bigger. +Be nice to them!+ She walked up to Jolt and glared at him, not caring if he was larger than she.

Jolt frowned at the Eevee's innocence, there was only one thing to do to such a sweet and cute nature. Crush it all away with his sour attitude. That was the problem with her, she was simply too hopeful. That was what made her such a rebellious spirit, and he didn't want it spreading to the other Mareep.
<Shut up.> He grunted, showering a weak burst of blue electricity at the Eevee. A weak Thunder Wave to teach her a lesson, it wasn't supposed to hurt her, but keep her still so he could mess around with the other Mareep.
<Like human, like Pokemon.> The Mareep hissed in disgust, giving another kick at Static to force him onto his feet. With a glare, he started to act as a Sheepdog, leading the two Mareep back to the group without a second thought about Bell and Resa.

Resa screamed as the Mareep attacked her pokemon. Bell however got right back up and growled again, she wasn't just going to stand there and let that pokemon bully her. She waited till Jolt started to lead the other two away, that's when she attacked. Her fur was still wet, but that didn't slow her down as she launched herself at the Mareep. She attacked with Tackle, such an odd sight, a small pokemon attacking a larger one.
+You attack me, then you kick Static!+ She barked. Bell was sweet and kind, but if you did something to upset her, her mood shifted quickly. Resa couldn't stop Bell as her Eevee ran at Jolt with a Tackle attack. Bell faked her Tackle attack at the last minute, she quickly switched and kicked up a large wave of sand, maybe she could gett it in the mareep's wet fur, or in his eyes. +You can't do that, you big Bully!!!+ She snarled at him.

+You attack me, then you kick Static!+ She barked. Jolt remained oblivious to the attacking Eevee until she brought his attention with her comments, turning his head around to catch her dashing at him with a Tackle. Surprised, he whirled his entire body around as he glowed with even more electricity. He was just about to shock her when a combination of wet sand and mud was shot at his face, stopping his attack at once as he furiously scrubbed at his eyes.
Mud was the one thing he couldn’t stand, it was unclean, and it absorbed ones electricity. At least with all of the rain around him, the pure drops of water could quickly rinse out his eyes. Looking right up at the sky, he did just that until he was able to see a little better.
<I can’t? Well some Eevee like you isn’t going to stop me every time I try. > He hissed with a crooked grin, charging ahead at the normal type with his Tackle attack. With his larger body and heavier weight, it would only hurt even more if it hit. But it also had its drawbacks, as one could easily find out.

Resa was a little worried about Bell, this was her first time battling with her and her Eevee wasn't all ther experienced. "Bell, be careful!" She would try and stop the Eevee, but when Bell set her mind ot something, she wouldn't stop till she finished.
Bell growled and prepared herself for the Tackle, she was going to take it head on. Her eyes were set on the Mareep. She waited till her was close by and she jumped at him with her own Tackle. Brave little thing, taking on a larger pokemon. +Someday someone is going to beat you, and then you'll be sorry!+ She snapped.

Mareep deftly avoided the tackle and ran backwards a bit, creating space between the two. 'Your nothing but a puny tame one, a humans plaything. I doubt you've ever even seen the wild." Mareep sneered. 'I'm going to teach you what happens to little pampered pets who anger the thunderstorm!' During the monolouge the rain had washed the mud from the Mareep's cotton wool-like fur, and static electricity was jumping back and forth over its electromagnetic body. With a little concentrated effort the electricity was concentrated into a single hot ball of energy, which was soon surged forward towards bell. A viscious thunderbolt attack.
