The zubat found that the seedot disappeared in the same exact way as the taillow had. It sent out more supersonic waves just in time to notice an ember comming towards him. He dodged it in the same way he would have dodged a tree while flying. He swooped down towards the ground and used Astonish once again on the newly appeared pokemon. He let out a high-pitched noise in a simple attempt to annoy the heck out of the growlithe's sensitive ears.

King decided that this zubat wasn't worth the trouble and told growlithe to use roar. Since zubat had sensitive ears, this would probably hurt.
OOC: Sorry. Writer's block

The roar hit the bird and it imediately screamed out a high-pitched noise that would cause even a human to cringe. It swirled in the air, trying to escape the roar and trying to run away from the battle. The roar even blocked its super-sonic waves causing it to crash into trees. It finally slammed into a large tree so hard that it fell to the ground. Upon hitting the ground, a large cloud of dust appeared. Both impacts along with the rest of the fight had left the zubat fainted.

"Wait a minute. By using roar I beat it? Wow. That's interesting. I guess I can catch it." King said as growlithe licked his foot happily. He threw a pokeball and smiled. He didn't see how this could go wrong.

The pokeball bopped the pokemon right on the head. It could've had a v8.
Anywho, it hardly even shook. For a few moments of frustration, it stayed still without a sound. Than the heavens opened up and the ding rung out. The pokemon was caught.

KinG smiled, happy that he had caught so many Pokemon. He went over them in his mind. He also thought about what part they played in his team. Seedot was his forteress, tailow was his dasher, makuhita was his hard hitter, zubat was his status striker and growlithe was his balance.

Strolling onto the Spring scenery was a sweet natured young lady, a little older than King but didn't show it. Her face looked soft and cheery as she giggled at a couple of Pidgey hiding in the tree's. Thinking that they were some of the cutest Pokemon ever, right before she turned around the courner to see a surprising face. A human, with a little Pokemon right next to him. She smiled knowingly, there was no doubt about it that this was a trainer. There wasn't much reason for a person to be on Route One unless they just recieved their first Pokemon. "I'm sorry, did I startle you? I hope I'm not bothering you, but would you care to battle with me? I've been looking around for another trainer because my Pokemon need the excersize. It would be good training." She giggled as she took out a Pokeball, though she was a little shy about the whole matter. Was she too blunt? Suppose he refused, or even yelled at her. That would be awful.

King smiled and nodded. "Actually, a battle would be great. I'll send out my pokemon first." he said. "How about you growlithe? You want to battle?" Growlithe nodded eagerly and ran forward. "My name's King by the way." he added.

"I'm Roxie," she said softly with a slight giggle. Was she trying to put on some sort of cute innocent girl act? Her knees came together as she took out a pokeball. "I do hope you go easy on me..." Her eyes batted gently. Yup, she was definately throwing on some sort of act. She twirled the pokeball in her hands for a moment. "Oh...but your pokemon is so strong. How will I ever win?" she said with a cute little pout. It was a pathetic sight to anyone who was wise enough to see what was going on.
"Well Ski will just have to do," she said. She smirked in her head, not letting it come through on her face. Ski was a water-spider and would definately have the advantage. The surskit came out of its pokeball with a twirl. Before even waiting for any command, it let a fury of bubbles towards the growlithe. Roxie quickly blushed as if she had nothing to do with it. Yeah right. One word to describe her? FAKE

Growlithe growled in pain as the bubbles hit him. King smiled slyly and said "Don't you think I have a strategy for water Pokemon?" King smiled again and ordered growlithe to use roar.

The Surskit gasped in surprise as the Roar became deafening. His long and thin legs began to tremble as he watched with wide eyes at those big canines, the Growlithe's size, and everything else. It couldn't take it! Something in the Pokeball device was triggered that immediatly recalled Ski. Roxie gaped at this tactic, pressing the button on her Pokeball to try and send Ski back out, but he was just too afraid to do anything.
Sighing in defeat, she took out another Pokeball. This was bad, because now the type advantage was against her and Pip. Pressing the button the pink Pokemon burst onto the scene. Floating happily in the air as she cooed at the sight of the puppy.
"Pip, use Tail Whip, my love." Roxie thought it was a good start, but now what could they do? Tackle seemed to be the obvious choice, but getting close to any fire attacks seemed like a bad idea.
"Then Splash at will!" She chirped, watching with uncertain eyes as the Hoppip began dancing all around the battle field. Once it pressed its feet against the ground, it soared back up into the air. The wind around her carrying her against her will, but was happy that it did, and landed in another spot. Movement would make her tricky to hit, and maybe annoy the Growlithe a bit at the same time.

King knew that he couldn't hit the hoppip while it was moving around like this, so he said "Growlithe. Use ember on the ground around it. That way it will get hurt when it lands on the embers."

'Oh no! Poor Pip is going to get burned to a crisp, I wish there was something to do...A Hoppip can't control its movements, only a bit if there isn't any wind to help it. I guess she'll just have to endure the pain. ' Roxie tugged on her dress a little in agitation, fidgeting in her spot while watching the grass type land into the hot embers. Eyes welling up in tears, the Hoppip jumped back up in pain, holding its feet to try and tend to them in mid-air.
Landing safely on a spot without embers, she sent the Fire type a glare while her eyes were filled with tears. What a meanie! That had actually hurt her precious feet, turning to face Roxie, she urged her trainer to make the next move.
"Hang on, dearest! Let's take it easy and use Tackle." The Hoppip was a bit closer to its target than before, unintentionally at least. Making a fast dash on its feet, she attempted to ram her tiny body into the Growlithe's side.

King quickly formulated a plan. "OK growlithe. Use bite to get your teeth around those leaf things on sticking out of it's head. Then start slamming it against the ground." King thanked his lucky stars that this was a hoppip and not a geodude. No way could Growly swing one of them around.
OOC: Growly isn't his name. It's just short for growlithe like Tom is to Thomas.

Sure enough, as soon as her tackle made contact with the Growlithe, the Hoppip found itself trapped in the sharp teeth. Being very light made this plan become very successful, doing more damage than usual. Roxie only smiled, having a trick up her sleeve in case something like this happened.
"Use Synthesis, heal as much as you can. Take your time." She added, making sure that the Grass type would be able to absorb as much sunlight that came through. Thanks to the Springs weather, the sun was out, but it wasn't as bright as it could be. Pip's body began to glow from the healing, and many of her wounds began to disappear into thin air. That was enough, she thought before ending the attack.

"Growly, use ember without letting that hoppip go. If that's not close range then I don't know what is." King cried, hoping his plan would work. He cursed the sunlight. He also realised that it had been Winter earlier on but now it was Spring. He ignored this abnormality and hoped that the April showers would come in. True it wasn't April, but for some reason time was acting strangely.

((lol, yeah. I know the Weather is hard to keep up with. xD))
The grass type was now engulfed in the flame, courtesy of a Growlithe. Squeaking in protest, it wiggled around in the canine's fangs until it found that it was able to break free. Using this time, it panicked when the tiny leaves upon her head were still on fire, and started rolling on the ground to put it out.
Roxie looked confused at what to do next, this wasn't the best match-up that she's ever been in. Obviously her Pokemon needed to heal, for she already looked weary from the Fire attack.
"Use another Synthesis, but get in the air where the sun can shine." She didn't know why she had to explain the order in full detail, but Pip just didn't seem to be herself when she was weakened. Nodding slowly, the Hoppip lifted itself up into the skies, using her healing ability to recover some lost health. At least she was no fighting fit, and her attitude showed it. But an attack like that took time to use, so Roxie sent a nervous glance over to the Fire type. Would an Ember reach her, could she dodge another attack like that?

King knew that he had the edge in this battle but growly was starting to get tired. He knew he had to end this soon. "Growly. Try to jump on top of it to block out the sunlight. Then use ember dow on it."

The Hoppip was much too nimble when in the air, a small gust of wind blew it farther tot he rigth as it dodged the Growlithe's attack. With a shakey landing to the ground, the Grass type looked over at Roxie for further instructions.
"Go ahead and use Tackle." She offered, though by now she would gladly accept any ideas that the Hoppip had. Pip really couldn't think of any new ideas, so she simply obeyed her trainer by charging ahead with her only attack.
