The Combee frowned at the Weedle, did he just call him weird? <I am not weird! I just like to hug people...> he said rather sadly. In fact, he didn't really have any friends of his own to hug so he hugged random Trainers that came through.
<Can I just get an escort to the pond at least? I hate to go alone.> He said to the Weedle with a smile. He really meant no harm, just he wanted some friends to go along with him.
::combee:: Wants you to escort him to a pond. Y/N?

Scuttlebutt the Weedle was no where to be seen, the little hairy bug was within it's Pokeball snoozing. No, the Pokémon which had floated on over to interpret for its trainer was Scrapheap, Warren's Magnemite. The Magnet Pokémon watched the Combee as it pleaded its case. It wasn't a weirdo? It was a honey comb and a bee put together, how was that not weird? The Magnet believed in his trainer's observation, and he didn't really care one way or another to deal with it.
The grey Pokémon floated there, giving the Combee a baneful glare. It was a bold Pokemon, and an adventurer, but opinionated, and loyal. Warren had asked him to get the Combee to go away, and that was that. They had to put together camp.
"You should just go away or you can come to our camp if you pull your weight, but really- you should just go away. We've got enough weirdos, and you're pretty weird too. You're a bug, aren't there 900 family members of yours bzzing around...?" The Magnemite uttered in Pokespeak.
The Magnemite turned itself with all the precision of a soldier turning face in a march, and floated slowly after its trainer. The little Magnet sent an arch of electrical energy through its magnets as if promising harm to the Combee if it didn't do what he had asked.

Combee's three faces lost their smile in unison, becoming a sorrowful frown. He missed the hint of a threat in the Magnemite's tone, and continued speaking to the Steel and Electric type. >I'm not weird. Like I told you, I just like hugs!" Combee's wings buzzed rapidly, almost as though in agreement with their wearer as the Combee got closer to the Magnemite. >I can join your camp if I pull my weight, right?< asked Combee excitedly. >Well I will! I will pull my weight! I promise! Thank you thank you thank you!,Jumping to conclusions and assuming that he had been welcomed into the team, he flew towards the Magnemite at a frighteningly rapid pace and hugged its face, his wings beating dangerously close to the other Pokemon's eye. ::combee::

The Magnemite did what instinct told him to do, thanks to reason slowing a thunder shock from engulfing the little bug Pokémon immediately. However, a noise the Magnemite wasn't entirely sure the source of roared forward as the little bug came so close to him, creating a highly disfunctional sound, like a jet's supersonic roar, but less loud and more erratic. It was the move supersonic but, Scrapheap didn't realize that when he accidentally used it on the Combee. He had simply gotten flustered, and never had seen one of his own use the move that the Zubat his trainer owned also knew. Without a word of apology, it hovered quickly after its trainer. Scrapheap used Supersonic on Combee. Meanwhile, Warren had finished walking to camp, and had gotten to the threshold of it only to be greeted by the same, seemingly sadistic- pidgeotto that so often seemed to show up out of no where with packages from his parents. This time, it didn't just dive down and bomb him with whatever the package was, instead fluttering the package to the ground gently, and giving the young man a curt nod. “Piiiiiiiiiiddddddddddddddddgggggggeeeeeeooooooooooootttttttttoooooooo!” it cawed, before flying off, leaving a sizable, bubble rapped, blanketed, and tapped package upon the ground for Warren- who rushed forward to grab the envelope that was taped to it, and to read the letter from his parents attached. “Hey Warren! I hope you're doing really good on your journey so far- and I decided to bring you a present to make sure of it! Well, it's more of a challenge than a set of presents, sweetums! ^.^ Mommy knows that you're as much my son as your father's son, and while you're out making Scuttlebutt and Cre and... Scrapheap was it? Strong, you should also be practicing your skills as a Pokémon Breeder, because it's essential! This is a challenge because while I know you had the ability to hatch one Pokemon- for a real Pokémon Breeder, being able to juggle four Pokeeggs should be no problem! Have fun, good luck and DO NOT LET MY PRECIOUS BABY Pokémon EGGS BREAK. I WILL DE- Mommy loves you dear. <3 Brush your teeeeeeettttthh, and tell Ari to brush her teeeeth too! I'm dragging on now, bbbbbbyyyyyyyye!” Warren's expression went from thrilled, perhaps mother had bought him a bike? That would be great for his journey! To sort've cautious... what was in the box? A challenge? DID SHE PUT AN ARBOK IN THE BOX FOR HIM TO HAVE TO FIGHT OFF? To positively dismayed. He knew how to hatch Pokémon Eggs, both from hatching Scuttlebutt and helping mother when he was younger... did she really think it was humanly possible to hatch four eggs at once, for a single person? Warren groaned, his mother was a psychopath- but he did not doubt her promise to kill him if he let any of the baby Pokémon that would come from these eggs be harmed. So he picked up the package, ever so gingerly, and headed towards his tent, throwing out Cre's Pokeball and releasing the elephantine Pokemon, catching the Pokeball with his teeth as it flew back towards his occupied hands. With a mouth full, he mustered something along the lines of “Cerrethhgh nnnnoooo aaalllts.” He had meant to say “Cre no Calls” cleverly, but as he nearly puked up her pokeball entering his obnoxious orange tent, that hadn't happened at all. Without a word, the young man headed towards the sleeping bag he had unpacked from his backpack- and opened it up, placing his pillow within it for extra cushioning, and then cutting away the packaging, before being revealed a black and beige egg, a red and yellow one, and two without real discernible markings. He slid three of the four of them of them into his backpack, and put the smaller of the one without real discernible markings into his the sleeping bag as gingerly as possible, making sure they were close to each other but warm, and he leaned over the sleeping bag, trying to shed his body warmth upon it. He could only give them enough attention if he did it one at a time, and the faster he hatched them, the faster he could hatch the next one and be on his way. ::egg:: Incubated for #01 posts [ooc; I'm going in the order that I got them, so this is random egg #1. ]

Combee let out a startled yelp as the waves hit him, sending his mind spinning into confusion. Combee instantly let go of the Magnemite, flying in circles as his mind reeled. His eyes became swirlies and it toook a moment before the Combee recovered, though still a little dizzy.
When Combee finally fully recovered, the Magnemite was gone. A sad frown appeared on all the faces of the Combee and he even let out a whimpering cry. He felt hurt and humiliated. Combee realized that he probably wasn't wanted, feeling even more down at the thought. With a sad sigh, Combee flew away. Combee is leaving Stop him? Y/N

Scrapheap hadn't floated off that far from the Combee by the time the Supersonic would've taken affect, so he heard the buzzing little Pokemon fly away- but he didn't bother to float after it, keeping its hovercraft march back to camp and its trainer. The little metal orb gave a bob in the air in place of a smile to his Phanpy compatriot, and floated around the camp patiently, knowing it wasn't time to make sure the campfire stayed lit, yet. --- Within the tent, the rather boisterous, sometimes socially blunt and obnoxious young man from Staunchriver was being quite the opposite. Though his persona in battles and when confronted was gruff and rash, harsh and always looking for the weak spot to hit hard- here, with this Pokemon Egg, he was gentle, nuzzling against it in silence and happiness, an almost paternal stare looking over the nudging point where the egg was at, and his own face careful to feel for the temperature in this winter afternoon, so he could be sure he didn't need to put all the eggs in the sleeping bag. Ah, it was a peaceful, no? The soft wind in the air, the lush grass blowing in the wind, the yells and screams coming from a Zigzagoon...wait...that wasn't normal.
Bolting out of the bushes a Zigzagoon hurried away from something. He looked back with fear in his eyes and ran for his life. He yelled back, <I'm sorry! I didn't know it was yours!> then continued bolting away from what was chasing him.
<Get back here you thief!> A booming voice cried out. Then, flying out of the bushes a Spearow came out. Fury and rage was in his eyes which could clearly be seen. He flew right at the Zigzagoon in a angry Peck attack. He jabbed his head at him and yelled, <I'll teach you a lesson!>
The Zigzagoon cried out in pain as the Peck hit him on the head repeatedly. He tried to get away but he had no more energy to run. He tripped on a rock and went tumbling over. He landed on his stomach and looked up to find the Spearow looming over him. <I got you now...!> The Spearow exclaimed. The Zigzagoon's eyes widened. <I'm sorry! HELP!> He cried.

"Stop right there, both of you!" the Magnemite bzzzed out in Pokespeak, standing guard over the camp with its Phanpy partner in crime. Scrapheap called out only once, and then he sent forth a warning in the form of a metal sound. Cre blinked- was it really smart for Scrapheap to be picking a fight when they were defending the camp and those cute little baby Pokemons to be? What would Lugh say? What would Scuttlebutt say? What would Warren say? The answer snaked out of the tent, apparently Warren had heard the metal sound. The young man didn't clamber out of his obnoxiously orange tent just yet, but he did give the order. Like a General planning a defense of a strategic position, the dark haired young man let out his orders. Opposing Pokémon were obviously around if Scrapheap was screeching so- and as such Warren had to make sure they didn't get near camp. Whatever they were, there was no reason to take idle chances. If they were trainers, they should know better than sneak towards another trainer's camp unannounced. "Scrapheap- Hit them with a Thundershock, right here and now! Cre, give us some thousand person step dancing!" The dark haired young man said those words as he cradled the egg which was in his sleeping bag carefully against him, and put the backpack upon his back, sliding the pillow quickly in. Even if the reverberation of what was to come was slight, he didn't want any of the eggs to crack. They weren't hatched yet, but these were -his- Pokémon after all. Outside, the Silver Magnet Pokémon and his blue and red elephantine accomplice were not waiting much longer. Warren called forth a "Okay, go!" and then the Magnet Pokémon channeled electricity through it's magnets, back and forth between the poles of each magnet, and sent forth a thundershock at the Spearow. The little Phanpy stomped her feet against the ground, summoning up an earthquake aimed directly at the Zigzagoon. Even though she felt bad about jumping into the fight like this, the best way to solve who stole what was to stop the fighting-, and keep them from harming her would be little sisters and brothers! ::egg:: Incubated for #03 posts [ooc; I'm going in the order that I got them, so this is random egg #1. ]

::spearow:: ::zigzagoon:: Pokemon encounter ! Spearow was moving in for another Peck on the flailing Zigzagoon before, abruptly, his body was rocked with thousands of watts of electricity. A sharp cry erupted from his throat as the pain set in. Finally his burnt body fell back to the ground, shuddering from the extra voltage running through him.
Zigzagoon was at first overjoyed that he'd gotten aid from these unknown pokemon, but as he turned to bark thanks the ground around him suddenly began to shake. The dog gave a cry of pain as rocks and objects fell onto him from shaking trees. <Hey! What the hell was that for?> Groaned the puppy when the earthquake finally subsided. He stumbled forward, but was unsure what to do. He waited for any sort of reply from the Phanpy and Magnemite.
Spearow didn't wait, though. Pushing himself up, he turned and let out a croaking caw before launching his fried body at the Magnemite, thrusting his beak forward.

The little metallic orb of a Pokémon hovered in silence as it's attack rocketed forward towards the Spearow, the little magnet screw and orb Pokémon watching expectantly as the little bird Pokémon was hit by it and went to the ground. It floated there, as if expecting something big to come from the still mobile bird, and as Scrapheap continued to float- he just watched. Didn't respond to the Zigzagoon, it wasn't his task to do so. Phanpy was its opponent by the force of abilities- and that was all there was to it. His eye watched the little bird Pokémon as it launched itself forward at him again- using that flying type move, peck. The little Magnet Pokémon floated, steadfast, not attempting to dodge at all. It felt for the power within it and channeled forward a supersonic blast at the bird as it dinked against him, his magnets reverberating wildly and making a musical fervor, before they also sent forth a point blank blast of electricity, another thundershock. Cre meanwhile, watched the Zigzagoon from the distance between her and it- careful to keep enough distance from her partner to not get hurt by his attacks. The little light blue and red elephantine Pokémon looked at him with a concerned look. “Why were you chasing him, what's going on? Tell me the truth now or I'll find out my own! It's not nice to take things from people!” Hit by Peck, not very effective. Used Supersonic and Thundershock on Spearow. Within the tent, Warren listened cautiously to the battle outside, hefting the backpack still, and cuddling the sleeping bag to keep the egg within it warm. He wasn't sure what was within the eggs- but he really hoped they'd be okay. He couldn't say he was frustrated that his mother had given him the eggs, but a bit nervous for their survival in the fact that this was the winter season. The young man nestled against it- still not taking his backpack off in case he needed to order another Earthquake. He couldn't hear from the sounds of the battle if Phanpy had been attacked, but he heard Scrapheap fighting on. Spearow shrieked as he recognised the formations of a Supersonic, flying back far enough so that he wasn't within earshot of the sound, the thoughts of confusion on such a cold day less than+ appealing to him as he swooped around, trying to go in for another attack. But then the electric shock hit him, and he was unable to even think about retaliation as the sizzling watts singed his feathers and fried his insides, leaving his eyes streaming and his fury intensified as the electrical assault concluded. >Oh you're going to pay for that,< hissed the avian, as her beak glowed a bright white. Eyes glimmering with rage and tears generated by the heat of the electricity, he zoomed towards the hovering magnet with a caw of fury. Gasping with shock as the Phanphy spoke to him, Zigzagoon quivered for a second, his voice cracking as he answered. >I saw a Sitrus Berry growing on the tree, and I-I thought if it hadn't been picked, I could take it, s-so I climbed the tree, a-and I did, b-but then that Spearow said he was growing it to pick when he was hungry, a-a-and he pecked me!< The little Zigzagoon sounded like he was on the verge of tears at this point. Spearow used Peck on Scrapheap.

The Phanpy looked at the Zigzagoon, and shook her head. If her experiences with Boreas were true- then the Zigzagoon was probably right, this Spearow was a Spearow after all; this Spearow seemed like a bully, gah! The little elephantine Pokémon simply stood her ground, at least for the moment. "Maybe it's a misunderstanding...?" she trumpeted- hoping her metallic partner would hear her and slow his battle with the Spearow. But the little cyan elephant Pokemon's call fell on deaf audio receivers- Scrapheap had no intent of stopping this fight; on the contrary he was - angry- at the bird and wanted to zap it into a pulp. And that's exactly what the Magnemite attempted to do as the bird came in for another peck, once again standing its ground and taking the flying type move without a word or a sign of pain. It was after-all not very effective on Scrapheap's species and it's family members; so there was no reason to try to dodge it, rather waitwaitwait- and send forth another barrage of garbled electrical sound which rocketed forward, another supersonic, followed by a blast of thundershock as well. Scrapheap knew what to do with bullies. Beat their faces in! ::Magnemite:: Scrapheap was hit by Peck. Peck was not very Effective. Scrapheap used Supersonic and Thundershock. Within the tent, as the battle continued to go on- Warren was getting more and more concerned. His Pokémon weren't making noises that worried him, but the mere fact that neither of them had reported back to him with what was going on was still worrying- so without a moment's hesitation, he grabbed the egg from the sleeping bag, placing it against his long-sleeved shirt under his hoodie, and zipping the hoodie up carefully. He grabbed his [obnoxiously Orange] cloak from the ground of the tent, and wrapped it around him, hoping to keep the eggs in his backpack- and the egg against his chest, warm and safe. He had to keep them safe and protect his Pokémon. Incubated for #05 posts

::spearow:: ::zigzagoon:: Pokemon battle ! Zigzagoon gave a sigh of relief as the elephant pokemon saw things his way. He felt a bit guilty, even so, for angering the ruffled bird pokemon. If he'd known that the berry had been someone else's, he wouldn't have even came close.
Spearow mirrored the Magnemite's ferocity, still fighting back even though her chances were utterly hopeless. Her body was racked with electricity, and there would surely be more coming. This time she was too tired to dodge the coming sonic waves, and they altered her senses, screwing up her vision and hearing. Now she couldn't even think, leaving her in a vulnerable position for the magnet's next move. The thundershock whipped through the air, frying the shrieking Spearow's feathers to a crisp. Critical damage ensured that she was out for the count. The fried bird's body fell to the ground with a plop and a sizzle.
The innocent Zigzagoon stared in horror at the cooked bird, shivering to himself. This meant he could eat the Sitrus berry without challenge, but he'd suddenly lost his appetite.

Icy steel of the blue eyes of Warren Orainge met with the form of the falling Spearow as it plummetted towards the ground thanks to his steadily strengthening Magnemite's combination; and instinct took over thought. He already had plenty of bird Pokemon; and for that matter already had a Spearow who he was slowly going attached to. But his left hand moved from the egg, and reached for a PokeBall without a second thought. He threw it at the Spearow, aiming to catch it. Because somewhere deep within him, a feeling of guilt had welled up. He didn't know what had went on with the Spearow and his Pokemon -or the Zigzagoon he spied from beneath his cloak's hood-, but he had ordered his Pokemon to brutalize it. And the powers at be only knew what would happen to the Spearow if he left it's beaten and charred body out here, instead of healing from its fainted condition it'd probably end up some Meowth's lunch. -#01 Pokeball. #05 PokeBalls remaining.“Scrapheap, I'm proud of you. Cre- you too.” he hoped the Pokemon at least understood the sentiment, if not the words. “What... what's going on?” it was stupid, but he seemed to be regular Pokemon bait right now, so maybe just maybe he felt that he could get through his Pokemon, and them through to him. As he cradled this egg, -one among many- against his chest with his arms after throwing the Pokeball, he could only wonder at the sight of the Zigzagoon and what had caused this all. If it was apart of a raiding party, wouldn't Cre and Scrapheap be assailing it? Because they weren't, the Magnet floated on towards it's trainer without even looking at the little Racoon, though Cre stood its ground. ::Egg:: Incubated for #06 posts

~Jingle Bells, Jingle bells Jingle all the way Oh what fun, it is to ride, in a one-horse open sleigh~A little Delibird was skipping along the trail, humming the Christmas tune. He had a merry grin on his face. Tis the season to be jollyDelibird was in love with the holiday Christmas. The melodies, the cheers, the presents, all were the best part of the happy holiday. One of his wing was carrying a large sack, filled with bulgy items. He felt he needed to spread his holiday cheer to everyone in the forest. Unfortunately, some of his presents weren't exactly pleasant. The sight of a human Trainer made the Delibird quite excited. The little Bird Pokémon had high respect for humans since they celebrated Christmas the most. Delibird eagerly waddled up to Warren with a jolly smile on his face. His free wing rummaged through the bag and took out a shiny present box. <Merry Christmas!>Delibird chirped happily, offering up the gift. Delibird has offered you a presentTake it? Y/N

[ooc; I had Warren throw a Pokeball in the post before this, at the Spearow that Scrapheap just KO'd. What's the result of that? Did the Zigzagoon and Spearow poof at the arrival of the Delibird? ]A new Pokémon had stalked up upon Warren and his party, and Warren was totally confused as to the species of the wild Pokémon! Red and white, carrying a bag? Had it evolved to think it was Santa Claus? What was really going on? This was time for the Pokedex! He quickly withdrew it from his pocket; as he cradled the Pokémon Egg with one arm and his chest. Without a word, he flipped open the Pokedex and scanned the creature: The Pokedex beeped forth with the information outloud: "Delibird, the Delivery Pokémon! This Pokémon is Ice and Flying type, it nests at the edge of sharp cliffs. It spends all day carrying food to its awaiting chicks; and there are tales about lost people who were saved by the food it had." So it had to be harmless, didn't it? IT was just offering Warren food or a present or something. The young man put his pokedex back into his pocket and reached for the present, attempting to begin opening it. The faster he got it out of the way the faster he could check on his catch of the Spearow and the faster he could decide what to do. An Ice Type could be a valuable member of his team, couldn't it? Warren took the present, cradling the egg against his opposite arm as he did. ::Egg:: Incubated for #07 posts.

The little raccoon dropped the Berry at Warren's feet before backing away slowly. <Thank you for your help,>Zigzagoon said with a tone of appreciation and apprehension. <You can have the Berry,>he added, nodding towards the Sitrus Berry. Warren's eyes followed the Pokeball as it fell, and he walked towards it, ignoring the Delibird who had just tried to offer him a present but then didn't give it to him for the moment, and picking up the Pokeball with the snoozing, fainted, newly captured spearow. His hand reached for his Pokedex, and did a quick scan of the newly captured Spearow. Female, eh? Then perhaps Boreas would have a playmate and Warren could breed a flock of spearow. Four hundred babies? No, that was way too many Spearows for the young man to be expected to feed, not to mention how much time and effort that'd take from him as the trainer to hatch those eggs. And he totally didn't notice the Zigzagoon or its fright, not until it made that motion, and offered him the Sitrus berry. Without hesitation, he reached into his pocket, opened up his berry case, and removed a Sitrus berry of his own, moving to hand it to the Zigzagoon. "You can have this, little guy. I don't know what happened, but it'd not feel right taking your food this winter, and I don't have enough time to take care of more Pokemon- so it wouldn't feel right catching you." Of course, the Zigzagoon probably didn't understand him, but it was the jist that mattered as he cradled the egg against his chest, rubbing it gently with his fingers. Incubated for #08 posts Scrapheap and Cre, however, wandered over to the Santa Bird as their trainer dealt with the Zigzagoon and the captured Spearow. Cre sat down upon her haunches, smiling at him or her. <Do you have a present for me, or my best friend here Scrapheap?> She giggled forward. <Best friend?> The little magnet floated absent mindedly, and if it had blood it's face would probably be flustered a pink chrome.

Pokemon encounter ! Zigzagoon looked up at the kind trainer endearingly as he handed a Sitrus berry without hesitation, allowing him to have not one, but two of the vital food supplies. <Th-thank you,> The Zigzagoon replied, his heart growing from the man's generosity. <I won't forget this.> Bowing his head in respect to Warr, the spiked raccoon took the two berries in his mouth and ran off through the snow.
Zigzagoon has left.
Delibird stared up at Warr, tilting his head a bit in confusion as he saw that he hadn't opened up the present offered to him. <Well? Open it!> Urged the santa-like bird, clasping his wings together in anticipation of the trainer's reaction.
Inside the gift was a Pokedoll, pretty much useless aside from it's cuteness and use as a distraction for wild Pokémon.
At the sight of the two Pokémon nearing him, the bird turned toward them. <Ah, of course!> Replied the bird, thinking fast. To be honest, he wasn't ready for their request, but refusing to give them both gifts would have been heartless. He reached into his bag and brought out two gifts, passing them towards Scrap and Cre.
In Scrap's was a Ragecandybar someone had left on the ground. In Cre's there was a small necklace made of beads, probably dropped by a young girl on their way through the route.

<Look Scrapheap, you got a hat!> the little elephantine pokemon giggled, looking at the rage candy bar's casing. That was a hat, wasn't it? She however, she had gotten candy, and began to chew on the necklace. Chomp chomp chomp, the little Phanpy chewed on the necklace. And Warren didn't even stand a chance of stopping her, he didn't notice her munching on the necklace, as he opened the present from the Delibird with his free hand. Still clutching the steadily warming Pokemon Egg with the other hand- he picked up the little pokemon doll, looking it over with a discerning eye. It'd be a good toy or tool, depending. "Thank you." he replied without hesitation, looking at the Santa Bird and his own two Pokemon, noticing Cre eating the necklace. "Stop that, Cre!" he commanded, turning to the Delibird. It could be a useful member of his team, probably- and it was really cool. "Would you like to become a member of my Pokemon team, Delibird?" He wasn't sure it understood him, but Scrapheap picked it up, repeating. <Want to join our team?> ::Egg:: Incubated for #09 posts.
